Name: Takuma (Taku) Yazame

Age: 21

Personality: Before, Takuma was the happiest, carefree person in the world. Everyone loved him for how joyful he always was. He was always smiling, kind, and brought a smile to everyone's day. He was just that kind of person. Now though, since the breakup, Takuma has fallen into an ugly depression, unable to get a hold of himself and find any sense of control. All control and sense had left with Izumi, his now ex. He is depressed, and depressing, having no care for anything in the world.

It had hardly been twenty four hours, and Takuma was devastated. He honestly didn't know what to do with himself. Surprisingly, Izumi had been 'kind' enough to actually let Takuma keep the apartment they had been living together in. It seemed Izumi wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of that place, and away from Takuma. Really, it was harsh. Izumi had been so cruel about the whole break up, an honest jerk. He always had been a jerk, really, but Takuma loved the man too much and all he saw when he looked at the blond was hearts. Nothing less than that. It really was bad how in loved Takuma had been with the man. He thought Izumi was just the same. But as of the other day, in the morning, it seemed not.

Now, Takuma was walking through the pouring cold rain, just drowning himself in his misery. He wasn't so bad enough as to walk out in the rain - though, maybe he would. But as he had been walking, it had started pouring a night summer shower. It was simply that when it started pouring out of no where, he didn't care enough to take cover. Actually, walking in the pouring rain didn't help Takuma at all. He thought it would clear his mind, walking. But now in the rain, it just made him think of Izumi all the more. He recalled that he would often walk in rain for fun, enjoying it. He'd then come back, soaking wet, and Izumi would scold him and get him towels, clean and warm him up, drying him and everything. The thoughts made his heart clench in pain more.

Takuma was so lost in thought, that at some point, he had ended up on a bridge over a running river in town. It was a fairly high bridge over the water, about averagely so. But now standing there on it, he sighed heavily to himself as he leaning against the railing, looking over it. He hesitated a moment, considering all thoughts once over in his head once more before he carelessly climbed onto the other side of the railing, where maybe about half a foot or a foot of the bridge ground came out from on the other, open side of the railing. Takuma had to hold onto the railing behind him to keep from falling. He didn't come outside with intent of killing himself. But right now, soaked in his misery - quiet physically and mentally - it seemed like a good idea. He slowly let go of the railing, gravity of unbalance pulling him forward to the open space, where he closed his eyes and just imaging falling into the cold, running river water, falling through the air, waiting for gravity to pull him and his feet off that smallest bit of ledge left, his body already moving forward towards the open space.

Name: Mikado Hanazawa

Age: 22

Personality: Mikado is the free spirit type. He always tries to do only things that he likes and just go with the flow of it, never overthinking about things and being satisfied with simply stuff on his life. He's really blunt, normally saying the first thing that comes to his mind, sometimes regretting it after, and is pretty clumsy. He has a never ending love for music making it be present in almost everything in his life. He's also kinda lazy, except when it's about his work.

Mikado stretched his arms with a loud yawn, casually walking to another full-awake night. At first, he found some trouble in being up all night, but now, after being dj for 2 years, that was his daily routine. That day, though, he was really tired. It was weekend, so he usually works a lot more on them, and he hadn't find time to sleep yet during the whole day because his sister came by to a quick visit and asked him to drag her around the town to do some shopping to their parents. He couldn't say no, of course. Mikado was in an eternal debt with her for convincing their parent to allow him to be a dj, since it wasn't exactly the dream job they dreamed for their son. But, what he could do? He simply loves music to much to not have it in his live and work with it was always his dream. He, actually, wanted to be a producer, but until that day wouldn't come, dj was enough.

He put his headphones on, with loud music, to keep him awake, and yawned one more time. Unfortunately, started to rain really hard, making him be soaking wet with a few minute. Damn it, I need to run. He thought, starting to run, wondering if he would get even wetter because of that. Mikado stretched his eyes to see through the pouring rain and saw that bridge he usually passes to go to one of the clubs he works and smiled, running faster to pass it. He slowed down, since the bridge was slippery and casually looked around. That made him immediately stop. What was that? He stretched his eyes even more, before opening them wide. What the f...

Without even thinking, Mikado hushed to the bridge railing, where he just saw a guy about to fall - or jump, actually - off of it. He stretched his arms to hold the guy and with a strenght he didn't know he had, he pushed the guy to the other side of the railing, falling on the ground with him. Mikado growled with a low tone for the pain of falling on the floor and lowered his headphones, trying to see the guy. "What the hell are you doing?!"

Takuma closed his eyes, waiting for the ice cold rushing current of the water to hit him. He wondered what it would feel like. Would it be painful? He didn't particularly care, honestly. He let out breath, waiting for the the impact of his body crashing through the surface of the water to come. But it never did come.

Instead, he felt a strong grip on his arm. His eyes shot open, and he gasped out in pain as he was yanked back, and practically thrown to the ground with a force. He winced, clenching his teeth slightly in pain as he looked up at the cause for interruption on top of him, yelling at him. He blinked a bit, his cold, empty eyes staring up at the male in confusion who asked what he was doing. "Falling off a bridge" he said simply, like it was not only the most obvious thing ever, but also the more normal of things, speaking so casually, yet, his voice was full of pain and sorrow.

Takuma shifted a bit out from beneath the man that had supposedly 'saved' him, as most people would look at it. He slowly sat up glancing around before his frighteningly blank eyes fell back on the man who saved him "I should ask what you were doing. Why did you stop me?" he asked with a frown and a voice so full of pain, that clearly just begged for everything in his life to stop, for all the pain to go away. Takuma just wanted this crippling feeling in his chest to stop.

Breathing quickly for the whole situation, Mikado looked to the male under him, confusion written all over his face. That guy was... really trying to kill himself? The said guy looked back at him and Mikado got surprised by how cold were those eyes, making him wonder what could have possibly happened to the male to make him want to throw away his own life. When the stranger answered his question, Mikado frowned deeply. His voice was just as cold and as full of pain as his eyes and there was this... depressive aura around all his actions.

He wanted to say something, but this whole situation was too overwhelming, and the fact that he just saved someone's life was slowly getting on him. Even thought the other male wasn't seeming really happy to be saved. Mikado watched the guy shifting and sat on the ground in front of him, realizing that they were still on that awkward position. He looked to the stranger, trying to figure him out, but before he could get lost in thoughts, the said man started to talk and Mikado immediately was taken a back.

Anger sudden started to boil inside him, even though he didn't know exactly why. Ok, the male did have the right to do whatever he wanted to do with his life, but still... Mikado just saved him from a big regret. Mikado just gave him a second chance. With that in mind, he sighed and stared at the other one. "Look, I no I have no rights on your life, but... think this straight! What could be so terrible that made you want to throw your life away like this?" He asked, seeing the hurt look on the stranger and tried to be as soft as he could, even though it was kind or hard to be like that. " 'Are you sure that there's something out there more important than your life?' That's... that's what I thought when I saw you. So I just ran to stop you, because... hey, every life is important and I can tell you for sure that nothing is more important than ours."

Takuma sat back a bit as he had shifted to get out of their awkward, collapsed, laying position. He looked to the other as he spoke, but nothing the other said was really getting through to him. His face remained void, completely unchanging of any emotion at all other than the pain that showed deep in his eyes.

Takuma was still trying to grasp, to understand why this man had bothered to save him. Why? They didn't know each other at all, Takuma was sure he had never seen the male before. So what made his life so important to the other, that the other cared for his life, more than Takuma himself did. It just didn't make any sense to him. Although, then again, ever since the break up, nothing in Taku's life made any sense whatsoever to him at all.

When the other spoke up again, talking about how important not only his life was, but every life was, it really just didn't get through to Takuma. They way the other spoke, seeming to genuinely mean his words and care, Takuma couldn't comprehend it in his current depressing state of mind. He simply stared at the other, with his same cold, blank expression, "You really think that?" he spoke. His words weren't hopeful, or curious. They almost sounded mocking, because of his pained and dark voice. It was clear that Takuma didn't believe a single word of it.

"There was something more important than my life. There always was, and has been. It has been my life. That's why, with it now gone, my life is gone, there is no point, no meaning. Nothing else matters but this" he spoke as he looked back off the edge of the bridge at the raging river.

The way that the other's face was still blank and cold, the way that he wasn't reacting to Mikado's words and how he wasn't even crying, even though there was so much sorrow and pain in his tone, was making Mikado... Well, the word wasn't exactly angry, but bothered. See someone like this, giving up on the world so easily without wanting a second chance to try to live once more... Mikado couldn't understand this. He enjoyed life too much to even see a reason for doing that and that point of view of him was urging him to not stand up and walk away, not minding on the male's business anymore. It was urging him to stay there, smile and help that guy to see that killing himself wasn't the answer.

When the male spoke, almost mocking him and his optmism, that urge just got bigger. Mikado was always too stubborn to just let go. And when the stranger kept talking, looking again to the place he was just saved from, Mikado sighed. He didn't know what happened to him, but he obviously lost something really important on him life and as much as the feeling of loss is devastating, it still wasn't a reason for give up, on Mikado's view.

He looked to the male, with intense eyes. "You've lost something important to you, something that was your everything. I got that. But you know what? It isn't everything. There's a million of things, people, places out there to meet and see and touch and feel and I'm sure you didn't see even a quarter of it. You're hurt? You're sad? There's a thousands of people out there who are like this and what they do? They seek for others things, people and places. Because they know that are a million of things like that around the world, but that there's only one of 'you'." He said, not even knowing where all that was coming from, but bein he blunt person he was, he just kept saying everything that was coming to his mind.

Mikado, then, stood up and give the male a serious look. "I'll give you two choices right now. Go there... He motioned to the railing. "And refuse to see the rest of the world by killing yourself and I promise I won't stop you this time. Or..." He stretched his hand to the male, his expression getting softer and a gentle smile was on his lips. "Come with me, so we can dry ourselves and I can show you that there's still some fun out there."

Takuma averted his gaze from the water, back to the stranger speaking to him, and trying to get him to see life is important. He sighed heavily, closing his eyes a bit as he just felt tired, and exhausted by this whole situation. Being grabbed and tackled by a stranger. Lectured to by the stranger, not only about how life was important, but how whatever it was in his life making him want to kill himself, it wasn't worth it. It somewhat bothered Takuma how the other was speaking to him, as though he knew him and what he was going through. It irritated him the other acted as though he knew everything about his life, when he couldn't possibly.

The funny thing was, another life, another day, Takuma would think that killing yourself over love was ridiculous. Stupid and naive. He used to always think that way, about this exact sort of situation. But, going through all he had, devoting his every day, every second of his life to pleasing Izumi, he didn't know how to live and survive without the man that he had solely lived for for the past five years.

Takuma has spaced out into his own thoughts for a bit as the other went on talking, more so lecturing him. What the other was saying were all things he knew deep down in his head. They were simply things that Takuma couldn't possibly comprehend, or want to comprehend, at the moment in his depression and misery. It was hard to see through past anything other than this dark cloud surrounding him.

When the other did speak up about giving him two options though, he refocused his attention on the other, confused. Options? Choices? What was the other talking about. He listened as the other said he could either go kill himself without him stopping him this time, or, could go with him. the choice was unexpected, not something he thought he would be given. He just stared at him blankly for a moment. He still didn't want to go on living...but he couldn't just kill himself now in front of the other like this, after all he did to try and help. He frowned a bit, taking his hand and slowly getting up "This doesn't mean I haven't given up" he clarified "I'm just humoring you" he muttered.

When the male took Mikado's hand, his smile got bigger. He helped him to get up and when the stranger talked, Mikado only laughed slightly, his lips curving in a smile. "Sure." He said and gave the other a soft handshake. "Nice to meet you, by the way. Now, we're soaked wet and I still have to work, so let's go to a store next to here, buy a couple of towels and then I'll make you have some fun as I promised."

Mikado said, already walking ahead and dragging the stranger with him. He did know that, for the other one, his behavior was weird as hell, but for the one's around him that was only Mikado being Mikado. Helping someone that didn't even want to be helped, saying the first things that came to his mind, suddenly becoming very friendly as he knew the other since children... Mikado was always like this. A free spirit. A couple of beers, and everyone at the bar was his best friend, a joke and a laugh, they were already family, someone accepting his proposal for a second chance... Well, that was the result.

He kept dragging the gloomy male with him while the rain was eventually becoming just some drops and they arrived at a small store. Mikado smiled once again to the male, motioning for some small towels at the corner of the store. "Wait here and don't run away, please. I promised fun and Ill give you. I'll be right back." He said, going inside to buy the towels. A couple of minutes after, he came back with them, putting one on the other's head and starting to dry his own hair.

Takuma looked to the other, frowning slightly at how the other seemed to be able to smile so easily, and to laugh. How could he do that? Thinking back, he remembered he used to be just like that, with Izumi. He was always so happy, carefree, always smiling and joking about things. He wondered where that part of him had gone. Maybe it disappeared when Izumi did. He sighed lightly, lost in his own reminiscent thoughts once more. He was off in his own world, thinking about his ex lover that he simply could not forget.

Before he knew it, he felt himself being tugged along by the hand. HE just aimlessly, lifelessly followed along the other, dragging his feet along beside him slightly. He kept his head ducked to the ground as, even though the rain stopped, they were still soaking wet. It hadn't even made a difference by then that it had still been raining. And now it still made no difference it had stopped raining - they were already soaked.

Takuma honestly had his doubts about the other. He didn't know why he had even come along with the other. Why had he? He had the option to still go jump off that bridge...but he supposed, it wasn't like he could easily just do something like that anymore with the watch of this man beside him. He heard the other officially greet himself at some point, and he just mumbled his own name, "Takuma" under his breath for the other to hear and know his name.

At some point they had arrived outside a small shop, and it had stopped raining by that point. He glanced up to the other for a moment when he told him to stay there, and not run off. He sighed slightly as the other went into the store. He frowned, being suffocated by the feeling of loneliness as he sat down against the side of the shop on the ground, hugging his wet knees to his chest and ducking his head into them. He just stayed like that for a bit, drowning in his misery and thoughts about Izumi, before he felt a towel on his head. He lifted his gaze, up at the other, before just lowering it back to his feet.

Mikado kept staring at the other, now named Takuma, apparently, still on the ground, hugging his legs with the towel untouched on the top of his head. Does he realize that that just makes me want to help him even more? Mikado didn't know what was going on with him, but by seeing Takuma like that he just wanted to... make him smile or something.

So, shamelessly, he crouched in front of the other and started to dry his hair, after already dried his own, smiling calmly, like drying an almost-suicide strange man was a common activity on his day. Mikado tilted his head to one side and started to talk, while still drying him. "So, Takuma, huh? Hmm, for now, I won't say my name. I'll just be the misterious guy who stopped you from jumping out of a bridge and now is meddling in your life. Which, by the way, I think it's exactly what you need right now.

Mikado smiled widely after that, but then frowned for a moment. "Ook... That was very cocky of me... Sorry 'bout that." He chuckled, letting the tip of his tongue point out of his mouth. Mikado, then, got up and this time, without asking, he grabbed Takuma's hand and tugged on it a bit. "Come on, or else I'll be late."

Takuma just stared at his feet silently. He honestly didn't know what to do with himself. All he wanted was for this pain in his chest to go away. And he doubted by being with some stranger that was going to help it any. Nothing he did and tried had helped to ease the pain. Being with a stranger would be no different, and nothing would change still.

He lifted his gaze slightly when he saw him move a bit, and then he was drying his own hair. He sighed softly, looking away from the male off to the side. He was a stranger. THe male probably thought of his as some freak. Why was he helping him? That was the one question he still simply didn't undrstand. The stranger had said it was because every life was important...all that typical stuff everyone always heard. Takuma didn't believe his life was any bit important to anyone else, including himself. It especially sure definitely wasn't important to Izumi...he bit his lip, cursing, as he was thinking about the male all over again, and the pained throbbed deep in his chest, threatening to fill his eyes with tears.

Thankfully, he was distracted the slightest bit when he felt a tugging on his hand. He looked up at the other, seeing him tugging on his hand and trying to get him to go ahead with him. Not really having much choice, or for that matter, clue, on what else to do, he simply got up, and obediently follow behind the other like a stray.

Mikado didn't know what else to do. The guy in front of him seemed to be near to crack in any moment. His face was getting paler and his eyes were full of tears for the first time since they meet each other, but he was still not crying yet. Mikado didn't know what was going on with himself either. He surely was the cheerful person, who would help a stranger, but at this point, he should already give up or something. But... he couldn't. He couldn't simply let Takuma alone, because Mikado somehow knew he would try to kill himself again and he didn't want that... He just wanted to make him smile. Just once.

Sighing at his own strange thoughts, Mikado started to walk to the club he works, with Takuma following him. He once in a while were smiling to him and when they got there, he pointed to the back door, where the staff should come in, still smiling. Since he was late, he grabbed Takuma's wrist and kind of ran to his dj set on a corner of the club. The music was loud and not so good, which made Mikado look worriedly to Takuma, before putting his headphones on Takuma's ear, to block the sound. Komamura, one of the bartenders, came closer, asking to Mikado who was the stranger, in which he laughed and mouthed 'a friend', looking to Takuma with the corner of his eyes, wondering if he saw Komamura calling him as 'Mikado', which would totally cut his misterious mood.

He motioned to Takuma sit on his chair in front of the dj set and looked to him, mouthing his words so Takuma could understand even though with the headphones. "I'll just put a better music for a moment, then I'll grab us some drinks, ok? Then you'll go to the dance floor with me. Don't take the headphones yet!" Mikado said with a small smile, quickly doing his job, putting a softer song, but with some quick pumps, trying to put his own current mood on it, as he always did. "What do you want to drink?"

Takuma just aimlessly followed along behind the other, letting him drag him to wherever really. Honestly if this was a different situation, and a murderer that was trying to lure Takuma to rape and kill him or something, then they would surely get what they wanted. Takuma was like a lost duckling now, completely clueless and unaware of his surroundings. Though, it didn't seem like he would particularly care if he was suddenly kidnapped and killed off at the moment. After all that's partly what he had just been trying to do not long again - until this unknown male appeared.

It seemed the finally did arrive at wherever the other 'worked' as he had so said. The loud musci was deafening to his ears, but he still hardly cringed at the effect. He trailed behind the other through the back door, where there were less people in the way to get where they were going. Takuma wasn't fully paying attention to notice the bartender calling his mysterious man by a name. He was too off in his own world.

Looking to the headphones as he was given them, he slowly pulled them over his ears, and everything was just a faint echo now, as though far in the distance, despite being right there. He saw the other mouth something to him, and frowned, confused. A drink? He shook his head. He didn't want a drink. Honestly, if he wasn't allowed to kill himself, he'd rather just curl up in a ball on his bed at home.
