He slipped his fingers up the others shirt, after starting the water.

Important to me..? Mavrick looked at the stranger one more time before turning back to Lan.

His master was speaking so calmly now, almost sweetly...

He let out a shaky sigh and pulled off his shirt slowly.

 

He held onto Lan's shoulders, his tough gentle, soft. Like he was scared to let go.

Lan watched the boy take off his shirt but leave the rest of hid clothes on. He could feel the boys confusion and nervousness. He grinned.

Scared Mavrick...I bet your just dying to know why that man is here... he's here for business. I'm going to be selling him something very soon.

He hanked his pants down roughly.

Mavrick stumbled out of his pants and widened his eyes.

"Then why is he watching me.." He trailed off, moving away from Lan. "Don't touch me. Why is he watching me then..?" He frowned in anger, covering himself from Shin's view.

Lan couldn't have the other disrespecting him. Especially in front of a guest. Lan brought his hand across Mavrick's cheek. Slapping him.

He looked over at Shin.

"Please excuse my slaves behavior. Like I said.. he likes to not listen from time to time. "

"I understand...may I processed, I'd like to examine him."

Lan took a step back.

He glanced at Mavrick.

Shin slowly approached the other, and gently took his hand. He was intimidating, and had very cold dark eyes...but he was gentle, His free hand touched Mavrick's underwear, his finger slipping past the hem, slowly to tease the boy.

Lan Sat back and watched. Not saying anything. As Shin approached the boy. He saw how strong the boy was... how tears filled his eyes but he just blinded them away. He went to cup the others cheek just as he tensed his jaw, his eyes closed. Shin slowly pulled his underwear down, letting it fall around his feet. His thumb caressed the boys bottom lip.

He whispered, and softly kissed his lips, His kiss was nothing like Lan's it was more sweet...and caring...and gentle.

His free hand caressed his back for a moment before he broke the kiss.

Mavrick wasn't sure what to do when Shin kissed him. He was so sweet, gentle. It was new to the brunette since Lan was so rough and sadistic.

Mavrick made a small whimpering noise as Shin took pity on him. He covered himself as his underwear fell to the floor, feeling so exposed..

Shin stared into the others eyes. Hearing him tell him to wait... and seeing as he didn't get in the tub. He made no expression. Instead of being upset, like someone else , he let his hands roam the others body as he got a good look and feel of Mavrick, He gently took his length and kissed the very tip, before running his tongue over it.

He whispered, Looking back up at the other.

"It's no surprise that I frighten you. I'll let you take your bath by yourself. "

He stood, slowly releasing the naked boy, He looked back at lan.

Mavrick gasped at Shin touching his length, but was too nervous to do or say anything.

He looked up at Lan in confusion as Shin pulled away. He didn't know why this man was here..and why he was touching him..

 

Mavrick felt a small set of relief fill him as Shin decided to not bathe with him. Some part of him wanted to see if he continued to be gentle, but he would never admit to that, so he stayed silent.

 

"Wha-...." It took him a moment to focus and process what Shin had said.

"You want to sell me?" He asked, not sure how to handle the situation.

Lan looked away from the other.

"Be happy it's Shin.. I could have thrown you into the arms of some fat perverted old man."

He left the bathroom.

"Clean yourself. "

He muttered, slamming the door. He wanted to leave Mavrick in the hands of a friend. And new Shin would take care of him..because he did slightly care about the other. Lan bit his lip and headed down stairs.

"Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea." He grumbled, stepping into the tub and sliding under the water to let out a frustrated scream.

He surfaced and laid against the tub, sighing.

Lan sighed as he took a seat down on the couch in the living room, Shin was staying in a guest room for the time being,meaning He was alone. He ran a hand threw his hair, feeling slightly conflicted on whether or not he should give Mavrick to Shin...He had never felt this way before. He was frustrated.

After a while Mavrick pulled his sore body out of the tub.

His bones cracked and he let out a quiet whimper.

The brunette dried himself off in a daze, walking to the door as he wrapped the towel around his waist.

 

Who was that Shin guy? And why would the man even want to buy him?

 

Mavrick groaned, ruffling his wet hair in frustration. "I doubt Lan talked highly of me.... How stupid." He scoffed, walking down the hallway.

Lan clenched his eyes shut remembering the past. His past... he never forgot the man's words that day... it happened over 1000 years ago...and he saw it as clear as day. Remembered it with ease. He thought about summing Martin..what the hell was He doing, but lan didn't. He laid down on the couch sighing, keeping his eyes closed.

Shin Sat in his room lost in thought. Lan and him were very different but they were both masters. He found Mavrick to be very...interesting. he seemed innocent but had a strong side to him.. He was beautiful Dispite his cursed eyes and marks Lan had left on his body.

The dark haired slave sat down on the bed and buried his face into his hands.

One thing Mavrick didn't have was loyalty. Martin would of easily and quickly picked him...bit Mavrick was in his room actually considering leaving him, Perhaps all Lan really needed was Martin.... or maybe the others fear of being replaced in Lans heart was so terrifying that he actually tried to convince his master to throw Mavrick away. It would forever be a struggle to see who was Lan's favorite...who would beat the other and gain his master's attention and affection today? And maybe...Mavrick just could play such a dirty, twisted game.

After the brunette got dressed he stormed his way to the guest bedroom where Shin we staying. He didn't knock as he pushed the door open.

"Why is Lan letting you stay here?" He asked, his voice cold. "I don't want to be anyone's slave, not yours or Lan's... So why are you even trying?" He growled, walking towards the man.

"I don't want to get hurt anymore, and that's all slaves do...they please and get hurt by their masters. And that's fucked up." He knew he was being completely disrespectful, but he was fed up.

Shin Sat in a chair reading quietly until Mavrick stormed his way into the guest bedroom , not knocking at all and being quiet rude.

"Why is Lan letting you stay here?"

"I don't want to be anyone's slave, not yours or Lan's... So why are you even trying?" [/Quote]

He growled, walking towards the man.

Shin gazed at the furious boy, but said nothing until he was done.

"Are you done now? As to your first question, Lan has allowed me to stay here because he wishes for me to take you in. But as I said before, you have a choice, so until you decide, I will remain here. Secondly, I honestly find you quite Spiceal...unique.. and besides it very very rare for Lan to give up His so called toys. The man hates sharing so he often kills his own slaves... perhaps your just an exception... and thrid, there is nothing I can do about that..."

He said slowly looking away. His eyes a deep dark mystery.

Mavrick frowned, looking down to cover the small blush that rushed to his cheeks at the compliment. "How am I unique..?" He asked after a moment, after calming down. "I'm just a human.. Nothing special." He glanced up at Shin, wondering what he was thinking.

"What's you being human have anything to do with it? You are a immortal.. But your species isn't the reason why I think your unique.. You are scared but you dig deep inside yourself and find your courage. Your not afraid to question, raise your voice, or disrespect your current master... despite the things he's done to you.. He stood and slowly stretched out his hand to Mavrick, cupping his cheek...the Palm of his hand warm and comforting.

He gazes into the others eyes.

For once, Mavrick didn't flinch against the touch of another. Instead, he felt the warmth... He missed the feeling of comfort.

Was he brave? He didn't feel as special as Shin said he was.

 

Mavrick bit on his lip softly, wanting to break eye contact with the man, but was having a hard time.

"You like my eyes because of the symbol, right?" Mavrick's voice almost sounded a little hurt.

 

"Why are you making me feel so special? I'm just a slave, apparently." He murmured, finally looking away, only to look down at Shin's body.

He quickly looked to the floor, some part of him ashamed for looking at the man like that..

Shin watched as Mavrick bit his lip, and he listened as the younger male spoke.

"The symbol...is indeed attractive... and I do like Your eyes ...but behind that symbol. I see emotion.. I can see a soul that remains complete..one that's still pure at heart...inside.. "

Shin NEVER showed emotion threw his eyes. A small smile came on his lips...a very small smile.

"And You are Spiceal. Every master has there own way of teaching or taming a slave.. I myself don't see slaves as toys like your master and my friend...I see them as companions... friends...lovers... I do not think that loving a slave is wrong... and if you let me...I want to love you Mavrick...if you only choose me..."

He pulls away from The other and gently touched his lower back, nudging him to the door.
