"What do you Want to play? "

He asked, practically having every game.

He slowly handed him a controller.

"I got everything.. Master buys me whatever I want."

Shrio rolled her eyes.

"boys and there video games~ "

Mavrick looked shocked Damon offered to play with him.

"O-oh wait, no- I'm not good at any games, I've never played them before." He admitted, embarrassed. "Before I got forced into being a slave, I didn't have much money, so I couldn't never buy one." He looked at all the games, "..are they're any easy ones..??" He asked quietly, embarrassed.

Damon looked at the other sighed forcing the controller in his hand.

"Just pick one that looks interesting to you and I'll show you how to play. Or better yet just read the controls. "

He said, sitting back.

"But just because you don't know how to play, doesn't mean I'll go easy on you...you got that. Hurry up and pick a game."

He muttered.

Shiro rolled her eyes.

"Please just kick his ass Mavrick. "

"tch... shut up.."

Shiro stuck out her tongue at him, making him glare at her.

Mavrick looked at all the games, amazed.

He finally settled on a simple fighting game.

"I can try to do this one." He murmured, flipping the case over to read the controls. He was already confused, but it didn't matter, he just wanted to try to be friendly.

 

"Okay, let's play this one." He smiled and handed it to Damon. "After this I need to shower and put on different clothes." He said flatly, trying not to be embarrassed about being shirtless in front of the other slaves.

Damon took the game shrugging.

"Whatever."

He quickly showed the other how to play, showing him a few combo moves as well. It didn't take long before the two of them were playing each other, although Damon was winning most of the rounds, he let Mavrick win a few.

"Hey...if you don't mind me asking...what was master Lan like?"

"Oh yeah! I want to know too!"

Mavrick looked over at Damon and stopped playing for a moment.

He still wasn't sure if this was still a trick of Lan's or not, so he didn't want to get hurt.

 

"He.." He took a second, gathering the strength. "He was a nightmare." He admitted. "He hated me, made me cry every time I was with him out of pain." He frowned, looking a this hands. "He was cruel, bi-polar, and I could never do right in his eyes. Sure, I'm stubborn, but if I wasn't hurt every day I wouldn't be so mean with him..." He sighed softly. "There were times he was so sweet to the other slave, but he'd never be that nice to me, he fed off my pain." He said coldly, almost jealous.

"Even if I had wanted to go back and try to have him care about me, it's too late now.." He admitted. "He'd actually kill me."

The two slaves stared at Mavrick. Both seemed to be a little surprised.

"I-I'm so sorry Mavrick. I can't image a master such as that. You've...been through so much..."

Damon frowned, looking away.

"It doesn't matter now..."

He muttered coldly.

"Your with master Sho now...he's different and he cares and loves us..."

He didn't say anymore. He un-paused the game and continued to play. Shiro looked sad and slowly went over to Mavrick only to hug him tenderly.

"Y-Your safe now...right? "

She whispered to him.

Mavrick was surprised at the hug, but hugged her back gently.

"Sho is very kind.. I just.. I'm worried about things with him.." He admitted. "I just feel like I'm going to get hurt just as much here..." He spoke quietly.

Shiro and Damon looked at each other.

"..Mavrick...ma--"

"I don't know why you think that. But master Sho loves us...end of story...You should be grateful you have a master now who cares about you...""

He hissed. Shiro frowned.

"that may be true but master has to feed! I...I image..Mavrick is a little scared.."

"...It doesn't matter. He should be happy to please master Sho..."

"Damon...you ass!"

The two slaves broke out into a big argument, resembling a brother and sister. Forgetting Mavrick was there.

Mavrick was surprised at how they acted towards eachother.

He stood up, see if his opportunity to sneek off and go shower.

 

He was scared of Sho feeding... It was true.

 

Mavrick walked down the hallway, brushing back his hair in stress.

He walked past Sho's room and cleared his throat in embarasment, remembering last night...

{ Night }

It was around 11:30 when Sho left his study. He ran a hand threw his hair looking a little drained and frustrated. He assumed everyone was asleep as he headed to his lovers rooms to check on them, and kiss them goodnight.

 

Sho gently knocked on Mavrick's door waiting a few seconds before slowly opening it and stepping inside. He was surprised to see the other up.

"Mavrick? ... it's late..what are you still doing up?"

Mavrick was laying on his bed, staring up at the ceiling when Sho knocked.

He sat up and looked over at the man stepping into the room.

"I'm just having a hard time sleeping." He said, looking at Sho. He leaned a bit forward and tilted his head. "Are you okay? You don't look like you're feeling well.." He stood up and walked over to the man, brushing a hand to his forehead to see if he was sick. "Do ghouls even get sick?" He asked, concerned.

Mavrick sat up and came to him.

He looked at the boy slightly confused as he observed him.

"Are you okay? You don't look like you're feeling well.." [/Quote]

Sho was a little surprised how the other brushed a hand over his forehead to see if he was sick. He smiled softly at the boy.

"Do ghouls even get sick?" [/Quote]

He asked, concerned.

"We can...I'm just...a little hungry. "

He said, pulling the others hand away.

"Nourishment Is key...I suppose its not good for me to skip meals..I'm fine. I can survive 3 months with out eating before I lose my mind. "

He laughed softly. And cupped Mavrick's cheek.

"You look so..."

"Cute... try to get some sleep.. if you can't your always welcome in my room."

He kissed his forehead tenderly.

"Sweet dreams~ "

He turned to leave.

Mavrick tensed at Sho saying he was hungry, it made his hands shake.

"Three months?" He looked surprised, but scared more than anything that Sho would lose his mind or something if he never ate.

 

He kept himself calm when Sho brushed a hand onto his cheek, knowing how caring the man was..

 

He bit his lip nervously when Sho walked to the door.

"If I'm having a hard time sleeping, I could... Maybe go to your room?" He said softly.

"If you want me." He added. "We need to fully talk about this situation anyways... I want to know the details of your...I'm...eating habits.." He looked pale from the thought of it.

"I didn't even know I regenerated that fast.." He said quietly, obviously scared of the subject.

Sho took notice at how Mavrick tensed when he said he was hungry and saw how the humans hands shook.

Sho nodded. Not saying anything seeing how Mavrick tried to calm himself and his fear.

He stopped at the door. Looking back at his lover.

"I already told you. Your welcome in my room. Weather you can't sleep...you had a bad dream.. or your lonely. You may enter my room..but yes.. if you wish to talk about it..I'll fill you in.."

The other looked so pale.

He said quietly, obviously scared of the subject.

Sho sighed softly.

"It depends on the person...you may not heal quickly... I'll have to be careful unlit I know how fast and well your body heals. How much you can handle. "

He ouch stretched his hand to Mavrick.

"Come..."

He said gently. Wanting to go to his own room.

Mavrick honestly wanted to trust Sho, he was so kind..

 

He reached out and held the ghoul's hand, walking close to him. "I'm sorry, I'm just really scared about it." He looked up at the man with pouting eyes and swallowed the lump building in his throat.

He said. Coming into his room and closing the door. He drew Mavrick over to the bed. Where he took a seat and forced the boy on to his lap.

Mavrick was surprised when Sho pulled him on his lap. He grabbed onto the man's arms for support

"Well.. Why not eat animals or something? And why do ghouls only eat humans?" He said honestly, looking at him nervously

"Humans are the only thing that satisfies us.. animals taste rather gross..however I've always wanted to eat human food it's so...colorful and you all look so happy when your tasting it but..my tongue can't handle it... nothing satisfies me but flesh and its the only thing that tastes good."

He touched his cheek gently.

Mavrick leaned into the gentle touch.

"...is...is there any way to make it hurt less for me...?" He asked, "I doubt there is." He murmured. "It can't hurt as much as how Lan use to punish me." He shuddered at the thought.

He kissed him gently.

"I can't make it hurt less.."

He whispered kissing him again.

"..it will hurt...but I love you...so much Mavrick."

He kissed him roughly now. His hands moving down his body.

He muttered against his lips.

Mavrick jumped at the sudden kiss, but kissed him back just as rough. "Sho.." He mewled against his lips.

He slid his hands up into the man's hair and pulled him closer. He didn't want to admit how terrors he was about this subject..

Sho ran his fingers threw the others hair.

"..your scared of me..aren't you."

His but a whisper since they were so close.

"..I guess.. I can't blame you...ghouls are rather frightening. "

His eyes fell.

"Did you have any more questions...?"

"I don't mean to be scared.. I'm sorry.." He felt guilty.

He reached up and brushed the man's hair back. "I know you're kind, it's just a part of you that you have to live with." He murmured.

"I can't think of any other questions." He stayed close to Sho. "Do you want to ask me any questions?" He asked.
