"I-I've failed Sho.." He sobbed, looking up at Shiro. "I had one job and I failed. It hurt...it hurt so much.." He looked down at his stomach lifting his shirt and seeing the blood but the wound was completely gone.

"I don't know if I can do that again..."

"Hey.. calm down its ok... you did good.. you tried..I know it hurts.."

She ran her fingers threw the others hair. Trying to comfort him.

{ Next day }

Sho wasn't able to talk to or see the other because he had to eat and help clean up the remains for the stranger Damon had to get him.

 

Now.. sho was in the living room with Shiro. His head on her lap as they laid on the couch. Her delicate fingers messaging his scalp.

"I'm.. surprised..you and Damon aren't scared of me..I eat humans.. after all.."

"I love you.. and I know you'd never hurt me..."

She kissed his forehead.

 

"How's...Mavrick.."

"Um...I don't know.."

Mavrick sat on the shower floor, burying his head into his hands as the water washed over him.

He was beating himself up hard for disappointing Sho like that.

He was scared to do it again...

"G-god.." His voice cracked at the thought. He couldn't do that again! God no!

He reached up and turned off the water, sitting there for a moment before pulling himself up and grabbing a towel.

He hid in his room, honestly too afraid to see Sho. Those eyes...he was so violent..

He shuddered at the thought, touching his now healed stomach in memory.

 

He sat on the bed in his towel, and stayed there for what seemed like forever.

He just didn't want to do anything, he was almost punishing himself for not being able to finish what Sho bought him for.

Sho decided to check on the other. He slowly knocked on the door.

"...Mavrick? ... I'm coming in.."

He opened the door and slowly closed it behind him. He saw the boy sitting on the bed, only in a towel and still dripping wet.

"Hey...if you don't dry off properly you'll get a cold. "

He sighed with a small smile, going into the bathroom to grab another towel. He then got on his knees in front of the other and put the towel on his head, drying his hair. After a moment He bit his own lip and gently cupped Mavrick's cheek.

"...Do you...hate me now? I know your scared of me..."

He looked into his eyes. Drawing closer to him, There lips getting closer..

"..Mavrick...~ tell me.. what you want.."

Mavrick watched the man dry him off, feeling his heart beat faster. He swallowed the lump in his throat as Sho leaned in.

"I-I am afraid of you.. I'm sorry. I failed what you had bought me for." He said, looking at the man. "I can't do that again, it..it was so painful. I...i." He felt his eyes sting with tears as his lip trembled. "I'm too scared of you." He admitted.

Sho's eyes fell and his hand dropped.

"..I see..."

He slowly pulled away.

 

"You see, I knew this would happen..."

Lan opened the door coming into the room and closing it behind him. He crossed his arms sighing softly. Sho looked at Mavrick. Looking upset, and hurt.

"I called him..."

"Come now Sho, Don't look so upset..."

Lan looked at his passed lover.

Mavrick looked up at Lan in the doorway, suddenly aware of the fact he only was wearing a towel. "W-wha-" he looked back at Sho, seeing the hurt in his eyes. "I-I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean for any of this...." He bit his lip sadly, looking down at his own shaking hands.

He was honestly shocked Sho called Lan. And surprised Lan showed up.

Lan glanced at Sho.

"I'm going to play dumb..and ask why you called me.."

Sho stared at Mavrick.

"..You..have a bond with him I don't.."

He hesitantly leaned down And held the boys shaking hands.

"Mavrick...Tell me what you want...Your scared of me..and perhaps you never loved me...and.. you said you...can't stand another feeding.. I don't know...what to do..."

"If I can't handle another feeding, then I'm of no use to you.." Mavrick said softly, looking at Sho. He squeezed Sho's hand and pulled them away. "I'm of no use." He murmured. "I'm sorry. I don't know if I'll be able to not be afraid of you again. That...it just shocked me so much. I...I don't think I can be here..." He bit his lip.

Sho stopped staring at the boy.

"Please...don't say that Mavrick--"

"Your wasting your time.. he's always had the tendency to beat himself up. And what he says is true.."

Lan shrugged.

"I'm sorry. I don't know if I'll be able to not be afraid of you again. That...it just shocked me so much. I...I don't think I can be here..." [/Quote]

Sho had so much hurt in his eyes. He pulled away from the dark haired boy.

"..so it's true...you never loved me..."

"Of course not...his real master always had his heart..."

Lan muttered. Sho bit his lip.

"However...I don't want him. Nor does he want to admit his failure and how wrong He was to leave me.I doubt he'll beg for forgiveness. "

He looked at him.

"I have no use for a trader, much less one who doesn't wish to return... "

He looked at Sho.

"So.. if you have no use for him.. And as I recall he hates me and doesn't wish to return. Then best thing to do would be to sell him to so fat pervert."

Sho silently stared at the floor. Lan sighed.

"There there friend.. he's undone me as well... it's such a sickening feeling. To be hurt..."

Mavrick's eyes grew wide at Lan and Sho's conversation. "N-no. Please don't give me to someone else." He looked at Lan. "Why would you come to me in my dreams if you didn't want me to come back? Don't you understand how torn I became because of you?" He frowned, looking back at Sho.

"It doesn't mean I never loved you, I'm just afraid of being in that situation again.. I-.." He didn't know what to say, lan's words scared him to the point that his shoulders began to shake. "P-please don't throw me away, I-I'm sorry.." He gripped his shaking hands into his towel, scared and hurt.

Lan glanced at the immortal human.

"Why would you come to me in my dreams if you didn't want me to come back? Don't you understand how torn I became because of you?"[/Quote]

He smirked.

"You dream about little old me?"

He bit his lip as the boy spoke to Sho

"It doesn't mean I never loved you, I'm just afraid of being in that situation again.. I-..........P-please don't throw me away, I-I'm sorry.."[/Quote]

Sho couldn't look at Mavrick. His head stayed low. Lan glared at him.

"You just said.,.'I don't think I can be here' you just rejected his kind touch. Rejected his affection and love for you..."

He shook his head.

"You've had a master that believes in love and treated you fairly, yet it still isn't enough for you...either I.. nor him is enough.. "

 

Sho glanced at Lan.

"It seems you think the world revolves around you! That you should get your way.. that only You suffer! Well you don't! Open your fucking eyes and see that your not the only one hurting!"

He glared raising his voice. Sho tried to stop him.

"Stop Lan... "

"No I will not, He needs to see how lucky He actually is, to see the truth... You have two men who love you yet we aren't enough! I'm sick of not being enough! "

Sho's widened His eyes in shock. Lan... said love? He had never heard such words escape his lips before.

"Maybe you need to feel the pain of being thrown away and then you'll understand how fucking lucky and easy you have it! "

Mavrick's eyes widened.

"Please, please don't throw me away. I-I'm sorry. Please.." He shook, staring at the both of them. "God I'm so sorry." His voice choked, covering his face with his hands.

"I'm so fucked up! I can't handle being thrown away. I'm sorry, Lan.. Sho. Please forgive me." Tears started to stream down his face.

Sho spoke up.

"Mavrick stop.. "

"I'm so fucked up! I can't handle being thrown away. I'm sorry, Lan.. Sho. Please forgive me."[/Quote]

Sho saw the tears running down his face and he quickly rushed over to him trying to comfort him. Whipping his tears away with his thumb.

"H-Hey... I said stop that... there is nothing wrong with you..please...Don't cry..."

 

Lan glared crossing his arms.

"Why do you insist on babeing him?! This is all his fault... He has no one to blame but himself. "

Mavrick leaned into the touch, trying to stop his crying. "I...I.." He grew quiet and just silently cried. He was so torn, and hurt. He looked over at Lan and frowned. "If you are so mad at me and say it's my fault, then why do you want me back?" He asked, furrowing his brow.

"Because it is Your fault, and if Sho doesn't need you, there's no point in you being here. There's no where for you to go unless returning... unless you wanna go to a new owner. Is a stranger better than me?"

Lan looked at Sho.

"What do you wanna do.."

Sho looked at Mavrick hesitantly before slowly pulling away. His eyes fell.

"I have fallen in love with him.. I want him to stay... however...now that I've had a taste...I fear I may force myself on him... I'd hate to make him fear him or hate me... he's honestly...not safe here..."

He looked at lan.

"Take him back..."

Mavrick looked over at Sho, his stomach tightening at the ghoul's confession.

Sho might force himself on him and... Mavrick shivered from the painful thought.

 

The slave looked up at Lan, almost worried the man would just leave and sell him off.

"..Lan." He murmured, biting down on his own lip.

Lan glanced at Mavrick when he called his name. He sighed.

"What..."

He stuffed his hands in his pockets, His eyes hard to read.

Mavrick looked up at the demon. He stood up and walked over to the man. "Please take me home?" He asked softly.

Sho watched Mavrick, His heart breaking. Lan frowned at the other before sighing.

"I suppose.."

He looked at Sho.

"I guess this is it.. It was a pleasure~ "

Sho ignored Lan only staring at Mavrick. He hesitantly walked toward him and cupped his face in his hands. The boy was so soft and warm, Sho could hear the blood rushing threw his veins. See the love and fear in his eyes.

"I'm sorry...I tried..to warn you...I do truly love you..."

He suddenly kissed Mavrick one last time, making the kiss hot and intense. Lan rolled his eyes looking away... was he jealous?

 

When the kiss ended sho pulled away looking sad.

"Take good care of him lan.."

He quickly left the room slamming the door.

 

Lan sighed.

"Come here.."

Mavrick was surprised Sho kissed him. He sank into the kiss for a brief moment before remembering what Sho did to him.

He let the ghoul pull away.

He watched the man walk away and slam the door.

The slave looked up at Lan, trying to read the demon's gaze.

His eye lit up when Lan spoke.

He walked over to the man and stood in front of him.

"..thank you for taking me back.." He murmured.

Lan looked away.

"Don't thank me...I don't know if I'm keeping you."

He snapped his fingers opening a portal, it seemed lan had learn some new magic spells while the other was gone.

"..go.."

He gestured for the other to go in first as he followed behind him.

The two emerged from the portal back in Lan's large and luxurious mansion. He knew Martin was angry with him. Mad that Mavrick was back. The demon didn't enjoy the idea of sharing him.

 

He didn't like letting it show but he hated having Martin mad at him... even tho Mavrick was now back The only attention he desired...was from his loyal slave and lover... the man he fell in love with but would never tell him.. Martin~

"Do as you please...your room hasn't changed."

He began walking away.

"Martin?! I'm home.."

Odd.. Martin always greeted him when he returned... he must be furious.

"I can't believe you kept my room in tact." Mavrick said, watching the man walk away.

He wanted to say thank you to Lan, but knew the man would brush it off.

The slave walked to his room.

 

It was the same as he left it.

I can't believe he didn't burn the room. He tried to laugh lightly. He walked over to his bed and brushed against the sheets.

"Home." He murmured, a small smile on his face.

 

 

Martin finally walked into the room where Lan was.

"Welcome back." He said, his voice threaded with anger. "How was the visit?" He asked, already knowing how it was.

Lan bit his lip as the other stepped into the room.

"I don't know... fine I guess... but Mavrick..is back... I don't know if I'm keeping him..."

He slowly took off his jacket.

"Don't look at me like that.."

He muttered softly. He heard the anger in his voice... it made his heart tighten.

"Why wouldn't you keep him?" Martin said, watching the man shrug off his jacket. "You love him Lan, it's all over your face." He frowned. "I'll do my best to share, but he needs to fully admit his feelings. Because I don't like seeing you like this." The blonde walked over to the man and took his jacket, hanging it up.

"I'm going to be mad, but I'll get over it.." He murmured, brushing his hand over Lan's arm.
