Those people that were born on the island were born with white hair and shinning eyes, and after they hit a certain age they seemingly ceased to age. Each citizen of this place wore a crystal around there necks, these crystals gave them life. However other nation around the world became jealous of the island and wanted to claim the power for there own. So, a war began, to protect the island and it's people and power, the king that ruled over the people of the island rose up and using the mighty power of the crystals, sunk the island to the bottom of the ocean, all thought that the island and the power were lost forever. However, it is said that the king did not actually sink the island to it's doom, instead he sunk it somewhere deep, deep within the earths core, where no humans could ever threaten it again. Some even say that the island still thrives, it's citizens living in a place unreachable by humans. Now, a sponsor hires a team of researchers to go down and try and discover, 'The Lost City Of Atlantis'. However, he claims it is for research purposes, but really, he intends to steal the power from the island and sell it to the highest nation that bids. The head researcher finds Atlantis, and meets the prince, and the two get close. However, when the sponsor reveals his true intentions, will the scientist help him steal the islands power source, knowing the people will die, or will he side with the prince and help him protect his people? The young prince let out a soft sigh and opened his eyes to stare up at his ceiling that was covered in a fighting scene. It told the story of how his great grandfathers fought the cracken, and once it was killed, pulled a bounty larger than all the gold in the world from it's gut, the crystal. Staring up at his ceiling, he brought his hand up to the crystal that lay around his neck, it glowed a faint, blue hue that could only be seen at night really. All Atlantians wore these crystals around there neck, these crystals were what powered everything, the used them to light lanterns, to turn on there hovering machines, they were there life sources, when an atlantian died, so did there crystal. At the heart of his ceiling, shown a large, glowing crystal that had clearly taken many days to paint, this one represented the hidden power that dwelled within there island. Reaching up, the young price adjusted his hair before sitting up in bed and looking out of his window, slipping out of his bed he lit a lantern and set it on the window sill before leaning on it slightly to stare up at the sky. The moon shone brightly, lighting up his small city. There were many buildings, but all were only ghosts of what they had once been. There was no electricity here, so at times like this, where it was very late at night and all the children were at sleep, all was quiet, calm and peaceful. A small creak sounded, and Misukiturned to see his grandpa, very slowly hobbling in, leaning mostly on his wooden, knobby cane, the old man reached for his young grandson and lightly touched the moon shaped birth mark on his cheek and spoke in his old, wistful voice, "You can feel it too, then? He stood and went to sit at the very edge of the water, dipping his fingers into the deep liquid. He sighed. He didn't understand anything that was going on at the moment. he didn't have a clue how they had gotten here and the sponsor refused to say a word on the matter. Which mean the was trapped. Trapped with his team until that man decided they had completed their task and allowed them to go home. He sighed leaning back onto the ground and looking up at the sky wondering what stars he was looking at, what constellations looked back down upon him. The silence was overwhelming, all the others on the team had gone to sleep by now having already given up any hope of going home. He stood up again, restless. He considered going for a swim but not knowing what was in the water was a little too much of a risk for him to take so he settled for walking around the lake. His footsteps were silent softened by the soft ground beneath his feet. As he walked around the edge of the water his line of sight shifted around the trees relieving a house, or more like a mansion the other side of the lake. Squinting to make sure he wasn't disillusioned he focused on it and saw a small glimmer in one of the windows. Looking back he considered waiting until morning and telling someone then but rapidly changed his mind. After all he wasn't in the slightest bit tired and he was the head of his unit so what did it matter. He began the long trek around the lake, his curiosity once again getting the better of him.
