I find it strange that someone so young is actually supporting these people. Just a month ago- your people where barely making it by... many of you fell ill. And now... you all are living the high life... finding tons of food and having so many Blue Angels that they wither and just die away." He smirked at Adam, watching him closely. "Perhaps you can tell me... How does one find a rare flower such as a Blue Angel? They only grow in the snow...on the very top of icy mountains... and can only live in negative temperatures and yet...you mange to just "find" and bring hundreds of them to your people in days? They don't grow in our climate. Not under this hot sun... Your hiding something. And I intend to find it. Or better yet...you could just tell me..." "If you want us to share our resources with your group you can just ask. But you sound as if you have some sort of motivation besides supporting your own people" His eyes narrowed as he spoke, watching the man carefully. Because it doesn't make logical sense...and your men haven't been going out of the caves to far...and no one has died. We don't want your resources. We came for research. I'd like to see how you people are getting these things. I've been given permission to go to any town by the officials of this area. And you people have something to hide." He smiled -stepping closer to Adam. Giving him a folder. That stated they couldn't interfere with this man's project/ research. Other wise they'd be arrested and possibly put to death. He should have known that something like this would happen and felt like he should have done more to prevent it. His people were so happy and they were doing well, but this group could ruin everything if they reacted badly to what they found. Adam quickly went to Meg's house, he knocked loudly on the door. C-come in, What is it?" She let him in- closing the door behind him. Before leaving the room to get dressed in another, she could still Adam as he spoke. When she was done- she came out Wearing shorts and a long sleeve black shirt. She sat on her bed looking to her boyfriend- wondering what got him so....panicked. They're here to investigate how we've gotten so much food and stuff... Don't we want everyone to know about Vine? Maybe they want to help him...befriend him like we did. He can help everyone..not just us." She took his hand. "Maybe this is a good thing. You know? " --------------------------- LaLa Sat on Vine's shoulder as he walked threw the forest. He was so happy to be helping the human's out. Tho he hadn't seen Adam or his friend in so long...Meg? He sighed- looking up at the sky. Bloom hadn't found out about what he was doing...He still wanted to keep it a secret until Bloom softened up a little bit. Moving it in slow circles. "Its gonna be ok. I'll be by your side regardless" She pulled away a little bit- cupping Adam's cheek before slowly leaning into him...kissing him deeply. His eyes were full of desire but, as usual, he didn't try to go any farther than a kiss. "I... Uh... I guess I should go talk to them..." he mumbled awkwardly. "I just... don't know what to do any more myself... there are villages where people are forced to be together. One night stands where the girl is screwed by a stranger. They do this to help re-populate the earth but... here I am able to choose who I want to be with...but.. Your hardly around. And I know your leader and have a lot on your plate but..I can't help but feel lonely sometimes. And I feel so childish and selfish telling you this. .but I can't help how I feel... I.. I.want to be alone! So will you just go already!" She raised her voice at him. Tears building up in her eyes as she struggled not to let them fall. She had dreamed of seeing a beautiful outside world but all she got was blood and splatter...sure she met Vine and was grateful but...she was now scared to go outside again. I'm so sorry. I've been scared Meg, I don't want to trap you. If you have my children then you won't be able to do anything else, you'll be a mother and... I'm scared of doing that to you. You're so beautiful and talented, I don't want to tie you down with a kid" He gently pulled away to look at her. "I know how hard it is that I'm so busy, I promise that I'm trying to find a way to make more time. I've been teaching other people how to take on some of the things I do..." She was a little sad to see him go but... she shook it off and waved goodbye as he left. ---------------------------------- Gin was on his way outside when Adam stopped him. "Oh..it's you. No.. I don't have time to speak with you right now. Perhaps tomorrow. If you'll excuse me" He made his way outside. Outside there where large white tends set up and HUGE tank shaped trucks that had all kinds of things inside them... the people had destroyed the grass and knocked down a few trees to fit there trucks in. "Sir! Something's coming! " A women yelled. She was looking at a screen. They had but heat sensors around the place. And it looked like a small boy was coming to them. Gin stared. Why are you tearing everything up?" His eyes widened when he saw Vine on the screen. "What the hell? what do you mean you've been looking for him?" He turned to Gin with a harsh glare. He was overcome by rage at the idea the man had some kind of horrible plan for Vine. It was all he could do to stop himself from attacking the scientist. He ordered the girl- pulling Adam off to the side. "If you know something about that boy then you must tell me now" -------------------------------------- Vine suddenly stopped when he heard strange sounds. "L...LaLa? D-did you hear that?" "tweet?.... tweet! " He looked too his friend and sighed. "Your right. It was probably just the wind. Yeah?" He was about to continue walking when a large shock net was throw at him. His eyes widened as Human's came out of the bushes surrounding him! He couldn't get away! The net pinned him to the ground. Shocking him! He screamed,before fainting. LaLa saw Vine was in trouble and attacked one of the men in anger. The human hit the bird with his gun. And beat the little yellow bird to death. "Stupid bird! Die! Die!" "We got him boys! Tell them to let him go! He's helping us!"[/Quote] Suddenly two guards grabbed Adam, holding him- keeping him contained. Gin sighed as he pushed up his glasses smiling. Freed from the boy. "We are doing this for the greater good of man kind. That boy is no human...but a plant in human form- mother nature's child. We have spend years trying to capture him...and now we have him. Thanks to you... for being so careless. It makes sense now how you all have been getting your things. " He turned his attention to the screen as they injected Vine...making him unconscious, and carried him away in the net- "I must inspect the creature. Men...
