Meg didn't know what to Say. Adam was leaving her... leaving his people and little sister. There was nothing she could do to stop him.

"I want you to stay.."

She whispered. She pulled away from Adam.

"no matter what I say your still going to leave..."

She stood up looking away from him, struggling to wipe her tears away...

"Just go...Just leave if your going to leave... I'll try... I'll try to talk to the others but... don't make me...say goodbye. "

She had to believe that she'd see Adam again. That he'd return to her some day...she couldn't say goodbye to him...it hurt to much.

[Kotorichan]

"I wish I could stay... Please believe me Meg, if I could stay with you I would"

 

Adam tried to hold back tears, he didn't want to do this to her. He gently cupped her cheeks and forced a smile.

 

"I'll see you again soon, I promise..."

 

He pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, savoring the moment before pulling away.

 

"I love you Meg... I'm so sorry that I have to go like this... But I'll come back so quickly, you won't even notice I was gone"

 

He slowly pulled away and hurried out the door, not wanting her to see him crying.

"I wish I could stay... Please believe me Meg, if I could stay with you I would" [/Quote]

She sniffles, looking away from him. The boy came to her and gently cupped her cheeks, forcing a smile.

"I'll see you again soon, I promise..."[/Quote]

A tear slipped down her cheek.

"...a.. adam..."

She whimpered cutely as the boy pressed a gentle kiss to her lips. Meg closed her eyes...savoring the moment, looking extremely sad when Adam ended there lip lock.

"I love you Meg... I'm so sorry that I have to go like this... But I'll come back so quickly, you won't even notice I was gone" [/Quote]

"Please...j-just...hurry back to me"

Her voice cracked as the love of her life pulled away completely and hurried out the door, leaving her behind. When the boy left she fell to her knees and began sobbing. Needing a few moments to grieve.

Adam felt like his heart was breaking as he walked out of the door. He didn't want to leave her alone but he didn't have a choice. He walked back to Gin's laboratory, brushing tears away.

 

He took a deep breath when he finally found the man. "I'm ready to go" he said softly

Gin was looking at his clip bored when Adam came. He smiled at the boy.

"Alright get in... and as promised we are leaving your little village. Take us to Mother Nature's lost child Vine."

Gin had no knowledge of bloom. He walked into a armor tanked tuck and closed the door behind him, once the two were inside. Of course there were guards too. Gin still didn't completely trust him.

 

Meg cried until she want able to cry anymore. She sniffles as she went to go wash her face and look for people to go outside with her.,. Not wanting to let Adam down.

[Kotorichan]

"Of course" Adam tried to keep his voice firm, but it was still shaky.

 

"I'm sorry..." He brushed some tears out of his eyes. "I'm just worried about the village... I want to stay with your group forever so that I can help in every way possible... But it's so hard to say goodbye..."

 

He took a deep breath and managed a smile a Gin. "yes, the child of nature. Let's go find that monster... First we have to head south-east until we reach a barren canyon."

Gin nodded, signing at Adam.

"The quicker we find the child...the quicker you can return. Last I checked...you had a lovely lady there waiting for you.."

Gin, looked away taking a seat on the truck.

"Man kind can not go on like this any longer...Nature must return to its place...return our buildings and oceans to us..it has no right to cage us into stone homes... With your help..we will bring back justice. "

He sighed as they left... disappearing into the forest and destroying the plants they drove over.

Adam nodded. He felt like his heart was breaking as he saw the damage they were doing. But he had to pretend that nothing was wrong.

 

~~Meanwhile~~

Evelyn had immediately packed a few things after Adam had told her what his plan was. It was just some extra clothes and a flashlight, in case it got dark. Over the years she had gotten accustomed to using her wheelchair. She made sure her tiny bundle was secured to the back of her wheelchair before rolling out of her small home.

Meg let herself grieve a little longer before packing her things. Her bags were full by the time she finished. She had two bags filled with her things and another filled with food and clean water. She secured the heavy bags on to her body and hurried to go meet up with Evelyn at the caves exit.

 

When she met up with the little girl her eyes were red and puffy. She was sniffling...anyone could see she had been crying.

"You ready? I didn't talk to anymore much...everyone thought I was crazy.. So it looks like it's just you and me Eve. You didn't bring any weapons right? "

She struggled to smile at the little girl..

[Kotorichan]

Evelyn smiled up at Meg. "Don't worry Meg, my brother will be back soon..." she said gently. "I talked to some people that were interested... But they were really hesitant. I think that if we go out and then come back after a few days, then people will believe us more... I don't have any weapons, I wouldn't know where to find one even if I looked" she laughed softly. She really missed Adam already, but had gotten used to worrying that she would never see him again.

Meg nodded. As she turned away and headed out of the caves in secrete.

Once outside Meg took a deep breath, sighing at the beautiful sight of natural...only to turn around and see the torn and run over plants and trees the tucks did thanks to the scientists trucks. She glanced down at Evelyn and shrugged, faking a smile...there was no man eating pants to be seen tho so she felt a little safe.

"Any idea on where we should start walking? "

[Kotorichan]

Evelyn looked around. "Adam probably led them in the opposite direction... so we could start going that way" She pointed in the direction away from the tracks. "Maybe that boy will notice us in the forest... What was his name again?" She looked up at Meg. She was trying to keep herself from trembling, she hadn't been in the forest since she had been attacked by a plant and the scenery was bringing back terrible memories.

Meg bit her lip.

"I..I suppose we can do that..and Vine...his name...is Vine. "

How could she ever forget. She started to walk, making sure Evelyn was right beside her. The huge forest was a scary place indeed...and yet also a beautiful one. She sighed, pushing huge leaf's out of there way, glancing up at the scorching sun...She hopped that they'd find Vine... they really needed someone to help them.

Meg slowly followed Meg. The uneven ground made it hard for her to use her wheelchair but she didn't want to bother the other girl. "Mr. Vine! If you can here use please show us some kind of sign! We know Adam and we want to help the plants!" She called out. She didn't think that Vine would be able to hear her, but it was worth trying.

Meg looked at the young girl as she called out for Vine. Meg thought it was hopeless.. there was no way he'd hear them... the forest was huge and she doubted he'd live so close to there homes. Meg suddenly tensed hearing some movement from the bushes, she was hesitant,..until roots shot up from the ground tangling around her and Evelyn. Lifting them off the ground. She screamed scared...but was stunned as a beautiful girl appeared from the bushes. Wearing a white dress and having stunning blue eyes and green forest hair.

"Why are you here..."

She hissed. Clearly not liking them. They two girls had no knowledge of Bloom...Vine's twin sister.

[Kotorichan]

Evelyn froze as the roots wrapped around her body. She couldn't convince herself to move, it was like something out of her nightmares. She only managed to let out a terrified sob as her whole body shook. Her vision blurred with the memories of being attacked so many years ago. "p-please" The young girl tried to force words through her panic. "d-don't hurt us. We- We just want-" she was starting to feel dizzy and without warning she puked, the terror far too much for her weak body to handle. She went limp in the roots' grasp, trembling and sobbing helpless. "m-mama... mama help... A-Adam come back..."

Meg was terrified just as much as Evelyn. She looked at the little girl.

"Evelyn! Look at me... i-it's...Its gonna be ok...i-I'm here.. in here for you."

Tears sliding down her face as well. She didn't realize how scary this would be for the small girl. Bloom watched the two girls, frowning. Ready to kill them until the little one spoke of Adam. She stopped.

"Adam?...Are you friends of his."

She asked slowly putting them down. Meg nodded.

"Yes we are! P-please don't hurt us! H-He told us that if we wanted peace with the plants We'd have to live outside. We don't want to hurt nature! Please believe us. I'm Meg and This is Evelyn...Adam's...little sister. "

She said going over to the girl and pulling her into her arms. Holding her trembling body tightly.

"Its ok... it's ok...I'm here.. Shhh.. your safe... please don't cry.."

She struggled to put on a brave act for Evelyn. In truth she wanted to break down too.

"I see..Do you have any weapons... if you have anything you will die where you sit."

The vines slithered around them.. but didn't attack them...intimidating them.

"N-no! No we don't I swear! "

[Kotorichan]

Evelyn clung to Meg with her hand. She managed to take a few deep breaths to calm herself down a little bit. She looked up at Bloom with tear-filled eyes. "W-we don't have anything, A-Adam told us not to..."

Meg nodded.

"She's right... p-please don't hurt us...We.. just want to find Vine..and live in peace. "

Bloom observed them closely. Very cautious of them.. after a moment she looked away.

"Very well.. I will take you to my brother.. but if you give me any reason to suspect that your lying or try to hurt me or my brother. I'll personally have you barred in the ground....alive"

She hissed as she started walking. Her arms crossed. She was extremely beautiful...and yet terrifying. She adored her bother and nature..bit could care less for the humans that hurt and destroyed her home.

 

Evelyn's wheel chair was destroyed. Meg bit her lip as she grabbed her things, wrapping it around the front of her body, leaving her back bare.

"E-Evelyn... can you get on my back.. I'll carry you."

She could barely carry her things but wouldn't let the little girl know it. She would push on for Evelyn because that's just the kind of person she was. She thought of the girl as her own sister. And wouldn't dare, let alone think, about leaving her behind.

[Kotorichan]

Evelyn sniffled fearfully and climbed onto Meg's back, she clung to the older girl's shoulders. "I'm sorry..." she mumbled. "I feel so useless..."

 

Her small body was fairly light but she still felt bad for being such a burden. "maybe if we can find a couple big sticks I could use them as crutches..."

Meg smiled at the girl, ignoring the stench of throw up.

"Its ok...I can handle it. "

"Hurry.. or I'll leave you behind. "

She said irritated. Meg struggled to keep up with her but kept moving.

"H-hey Evelyn.. have I ever told you.. the first time I met Adam?"

She decided to tell the girl a story to help pass the time, knowing his was on edge and tense.

[Kotorichan]

Evelyn smiled slightly, somewhat excited to hear the story. "No, you haven't told me... how did you meet?" she lightly rested her cheek against Meg's back, trying to get herself to relax.

Meg smiled faintly.

"I was six... and still innocent. I knew nothing about what was outside of the caves...in fact I didn't even know a outside existed...until I met Adam. I was heading back home..when I saw Adam stealing an Apple.. I suppose he was hungry and couldn't pay for it... I actually stopped him and paid for the Apple. He thanked me...and gave me this...most wonderful flower. Back then I had no idea what it was...and when I told him that he explained the outside world to me...and I became fascinated with it...and at some point...I fell in love with him. God..he was so cute back then. I'm relieved he hasn't changed over the years.."

She sighed.

"I love him... I can't explain this...this unbelievable feeling when he's around...I feel so...good.."

"This way..watch your step."

Bloom was now leading them threw the forbidden forest. The sky turned dark and the trees a dead purple and mist appeared beneath them.

[Kotorichan]

Evelyn tried to ignore their surroundings, it all seemed so scary and threatening. "I'm glad he has you..." she said quietly, trying to focus on Meg's story.

"after we lost our parents he was always really sad and quiet... but whenever he spent time with you it always cheered him up." She closed her eyes and smiled at the memory.

"I would always know that he had seen you because he'd come back in a good mood, like how he used to be before our parents died... But he was always so bad with his feelings that I think he just didn't realize that he loved you"

Meg smiled faintly listening to Evelyn.

"Thank you...I had no idea I had such an effect on him... it's nice to finally know that. I hope he's ok.."

She sighed. After a few minutes Bloom stopped in front of a huge wall of vines.

She touched it and laid a kiss on the leafy greens and it slowly made a opening in the huge and thick vines...revealing the homes Vine made out of nature.

"We're here. "

She stepped threw it and waited for Meg to take a step inside. She was hesitated at first but did as he was told and the vines closed behind her. Bloom turned and left muttering.

"Pick a home.."
