The Cruel Outside (1x1 pigeon and Keru-chan)

[Keru-chan]

The clock was already twelve, on the day. Damn, the meeting he was supposed to go on was half past one. Ugh, did he have to? Well he could always try to talk about his father about it. Slowly he heaved himself up in a sitting position and then turned around to look at Mian. So he had stayed in the bed after all? "I'll order some breakfast to us and then take a shower".

 

After having ordered some bacon, fried eggs and potatoes and told the servant to leave it just outside the elevator and then go away he went to fetch a towel. Thereafter opened the bathroom door. "You can begin to eat before me if I'm not out when she or he comes" then he went in and closed it.

 

Ikuto took off his underwear, threw it in a basket beside the toilet and then turned on the shower and stepped in. The cold water hit his slender body and he drew his hands a multiple of times through his black drenched hair that was licked against his skin. When he was done he turned it off, wrapped the towel around his hip and dried himself with another before going out of the bathroom.

[Kotorichan]

Mian watched the man get out of bed. He slowly got up too and murmured a quiet 'yes master' at the human's words. He had decided that the man had clearly been acting strangely when he was drunk, so it might just be another strange thing that he had done.

 

He looked around after Ikuto was gone. He made sure not to touch anything for fear of breaking something and getting in trouble. After a couple minutes of exploration he went back to the pool, he slipped his clothes off and slipped into the water. He swam around the entire time Ikuto was in the shower. Being in the water helped Mian think about things, he tried to understand his new home and the person who bought him. But he really couldn't make much progress.

[Keru-chan]

After taking a fast look to the right it was confirmed that Mian was enjoying the pool. Good. He sighed out in relief before walking up to the closet where he slipped out a navy blue morning robe. Dropping the towel on the floor he revealed his naked body and then took on the morning robe before walking to the pool. "Are you enjoying it Mian..?" He asked with a smile on his lips.

 

 

"Master...The food is here" a man's voice could be heard from the elevator side of the apartment and he turned to go and get it. Pushing it into the room he took his plate and the fork before beginning to eat. To himself, there were a cup of coffee and for Mian he had ordered some orange juice. "Mian~ come and eat..". Ikuto didn't know why but kinda felt like he was calling on a little puppy or a kid. Strange. Well, he had already assumed that the male was younger than him but even so. It was just plainly strange. He liked it.

[Kotorichan]

When he was asked if he liked the pool Mian popped his head out of the water and gave Ikuto a quick nod before ducking back down again. He swam around a bit more until he heard the human calling him again.

 

the man reluctantly pulled himself out of the water and shook himself off before putting his clothes back on. He found Ikuto and sat down next to him, starting at the food. "Master, what am I allowed to eat?" he asked softly, looking over at the man. It all looked and smelled so good, he just wanted to try all of the different things. He was starting to feel a little more comfortable around the human, he had been nice so far.

[Keru-chan]

His purple coloured hair was drenched and it was slicked against his unique skin colour. Seeing how the small waterdrops travelled across the skin that was visible. It made shivers to run down his spine as he averted his gaze. Mian, were interesting. Apparently god thought that it weren't enough with not making this male human. He snorted at his own thoughts and a smile appeared on his lips as he reached for Mian's plate. "Here~ eat this and I thought I told you not to call me Master.." he said with a small pout. "Ah well, if you want to say it though I won't stop you".

 

After having finished his own plate he stood up and placed it on the trolley before taking a sip of the still warm coffee. Holding the cup in a firm grip while walking over to his tablet to check the news. A rather sunny day was waiting. 28 degrees and cloud free. There had also been a minor car accident but otherwise from that nothing had particularly interesting had happened. Besides Mian. But no one knew about it and he planned to keep it that way.

 

Ikuto threw the tablet on the bed and walked up to the windows, looked out over the majestic city that spread itself out beneath his gaze. Who knew what they would do to him if he revealed this? And who knew what they were already doing to his mates right now..Different people had never been that welcomed. Not even humans now when he thought about it.

[Kotorichan]

"You were acting strange last night... I didn't know if you meant that..." Mian mumbled. "H-humans tend to hit me when I call them by their names..."

 

He trailed off and took the plate. "Thank you" he stared at the plate for a minute before trying a bite. The male immediately perked up at the flavor. He carefully tasted the juice, his eyes widened and he looked up at Ikuto with a wide smile. "T-this food is really good!" his voice was excited at the new discovery. "Is it usually this good? or is today special?" None of his other owners had fed him well, he had just assumed that human food was always bad.

[Keru-chan]

The young heir hummed silently for himself with his lips being caressed by the warm steam that was rising from the warm coffee cup. Usually, he didn't like things that were warm. Though coffee, was an exception. And food too. "Hit you...?" He repeated in a quiet mumble before closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath of the wonderful smell.

 

Deep in his own thoughts he was soon interrupted by the male that exclaimed that the food was good. He smiled lazily and then turned around to meet his gaze. "Uh...Well not all food tastes good, it depends a little on the person but here in my home everything tastes good so yes. It usually is like that" he answered and then took another sip of the coffee before thinking about stuff they could do. Well, it couldn't be so fun to sit here on his floor all day. Right? So well, he had to think of stuff that Mian could do and thay he could do with Mian. According to books, doing things with the person strengthen the bonds between. "So Mian" he begun after another while of thinking. "Is there something you wanna do?".

[Kotorichan]

"Something I want to do? What would I want to do?" Mian frowned at the question. He didn't even know what kind of things they had in this strange place, let alone which of those things he would want to go do.

 

"Is there something you would like to do? I don't mind being left here if you want to do something with your friends..." he looked down at the floor sadly. "It would save you the trouble of trying to explain things to me..." He really hated the fact that he didn't understand what was going on most of the time, it made him feel incredibly stupid.

[Keru-chan]

The young heir averted his gaze once again and a somewhat sad expression came alive on his face as he took another sip of the coffee and thereafter licked his lips. "I..don't have any friends" he said in a casual manner and looked back at the other one. "That's why I want you to be my first one..And that was also why I asked you if there is something you wanna do. I mean aren't you at least a little curious about the world I live in?".

 

Ikuto took up the towel from the floor, went into the bathroom and then threw it in the basket just as he had done with his underwear. Thereafter he went to the closet and pulled out a new pair before dropping the morning robe to the floor and putting the new underwear on. "I understand that since you haven't been here so long you don't know that much about this place but maybe...if we're careful I can show you around..". He pulled out a white shirt, took it on and then buttoned it while turning to the other one. "Would you want that?".

[Kotorichan]

Mian listened to the other with a sad frown. "I'm sorry..." he finally said. "I would like to see more of this place if that's possible..." He followed the man and watched him nervously.

 

"but... um... I was told that humans are v-very violent... and they always carry weapons when they go outside and if I made any mistakes that went against the rules... they'd kill me..." his voice started to tremble as he spoke. When he was being trained they had told him all kinds of things to discourage him from running away. He didn't know any better and so believed every word of it. Mian looked down at the floor and nervously fidgeted with his clothes.

[Keru-chan]

"No need to apologize..You didn't know after all" he smiled vaguely and sighed before returning to the closet to get himself a pair of pants to then put them on. "In that case they lied" he simply said and then looked at himself in the mirror on the closet door while he tied his blue tie and corrected his messy dark violet coloured hair. "No one is going to hurt you, I won't let them and all humans aren't necessarily aggressive or violent. That differs from person to person".

 

The young heir called Charles and asked him to empty floor 6, 7 and 5 from people. Those floors were the ones he was going to show Mian today. The bowling hall, his office and the bar. Thereafter he closed the closet and walked up to the elevator. "Are you coming Mian?".

[Kotorichan]

"lying? why would they lie like that?" Mian looked genuinely confused. It didn't really make any sense to him, especially since everyone he had ever known had really valued honesty.

 

Mian hurried to follow him. "yes mast- I mean, yes I-Ikuto" He hesitated when he saw the elevator, remembering what it did earlier. "are we going in that again? isn't it dangerous?" he was feeling more relaxed around the man and so was asking all the questions he usually just held in. "is that thing magic? because we went in and then we came out somewhere else..."

[Keru-chan]

A vague smile appeared on his lips as the male for the first time and then pressed the elevator button. "No no, it isn't dangerous at all" he said and then couldn't help but burst out in soft laughter. It seemed like Mian was beginning to open up a little bit. "It isn't magic, it's called technology" he cleared his throat as the elevator doors opened and he stepped in and held out his hand just in case the male needed some kind of support. "Which number do you like the most? 6, 7 or 5?" He then asked, standing ready to press one of the buttons.

[Kotorichan]

Mian blushed softly as the man laughed at him. "technology...?" he repeated the unfamiliar word to himself.

 

He hesitated when the doors of the elevator opened. He hesitantly took Ikuto's hand and stepped in, clinging to the other's hand. "um... Six...?" he wasn't really sure what the question meant but he still did his best to answer it.

 

Mian stayed as close as he could to the man, his eyes wide as the elevator doors closed. "is it going to move now?" he asked in a hushed tone, as if the elevator might hear him somehow.

[Keru-chan]

Mian's hand holding his, it felt...nice. A vague blush spread itself over his cheeks as he felt how the other one almost pressed himself against him. And while he did, he noticed something. Mian, were just as tall as he himself was. Well he had never been that tall. When he was a child he had actually been pretty short. It didn't bother him thouh. That it seemed like they were both just as tall. He pressed the button number six.

 

"Yes, but there's nothing to worry about. Just hold on to me if you feel scared or nervous, okay?" He smiled kindly at the other one as the elevator suddenly began to move.

 

After a while the elevator stopped, and the doors opened to then reveal his beloved office. Or well it was his office but it almost seemed like a playground with all the things that were there. There was a big hole in the floor and up from the hole a metal pole rose to the roof. If you took that way you would immediately come down to the bowling hall right under. His desk was filled with papers and in the corner of the room there was a jacuzzi. And also in the middle of the room there was a mini golf course consisting of five courses that had been randomly placed around in the room. Rather than office, he called this his second home. "This is where I work when I actually do work" he chuckled softly at his own words as he stepped out of the elevator, released Mian's hand and walked up to his desk.

[Kotorichan]

Mian whimpered and stayed close to the human as the elevator moved, he relaxed slightly when it stopped moving and looked out at the room. He didn't recognize anything that was in there.

 

He hurried to follow Ikuto into the room, looking around with wide eyes. "w-what is all of this?" he asked nervously. He immediately started to assume that these were somehow dangerous things that were used for the man's 'work.' He stayed close to the other, in case something happened.

[Keru-chan]

"Take it easy Mian, there's no need to be so nervous. It's just 'stuff'" he said and placed a gentle hand on the male's shoulder while pointing at one of the pitch and putt courses. "That is a pitch and putt course. You shoot a ball with a club into the hole over there" he paused and then pointed at the metal pole that led down to the fifth floor. "That is another way to come down to the fifth floor" once again, pause before he finally pointed at the jacuzzi. "That is a jacuzzi, a smaller version of a pool. Like the one I have in my home that you bath in".

 

The young heir cleared his throat as he organised the paper on his desk in several piles of different information before turning to the male once again. "All of this stuff I explained earlier is mostly for fun so go ahead and explore if you want~" he smiled as his eminence coloured gaze softened.

[Kotorichan]

Mian looked at all the different things. He still felt confused but slightly less scared. He wandered over to the hole and looked down it curiously. He soon lost interest and went over to the golf course. He sat down on the floor and picked up a ball, rolling it along the ground.

 

He clearly didn't understand the game and just stood up to go to the jacuzzi. He looked in the water and then up at Ikuto. "Can I get in this?" he asked, still being a bit cautious.

[Keru-chan]

The young heir watched closely how the male crouched down on the floor, seemingly less nervous about all the new things. And Ikuto couldn't help but smile at the sight of how he then rather quickly lost interest for it and walked over to the jacuzzi. "Of course". The jacuzzi was always turned on so the water would always be at a perfect temperature when he would wish to take a bath.

 

He drew a hand through his hair before he walked around his desk and sunk down in the big black comfortable chair. Carefully he leaned back while resting his elbows on the backrest and sighed. So much work. It would take forever for him to do this. Maybe he could ask Charles to look it through and pick out the more important? He nodded at his own suggestion. "Do you like it?" He suddenly turned to the male.

[Kotorichan]

Mian slipped his clothes off and got into the jacuzzi. His eyes widened at the warmth. "it's comfortable..." he murmured, sinking down in the water happily. After a moment or two he sunk underwater completely, only occasionally letting out a strange sound that almost sounded like a bird's chirp.

 

He closed his eyes and relaxed completely, momentarily forgetting everything else. He heard Ikuto's question and slowly sat up. "yes, it's very nice" he said with a soft smile.

[Keru-chan]

Ikuto picked up the phone and ordered his butler to come to floor six. And at the same time he ended the call the young male answered his question with such a dazzling smile that his heart skipped a beat in pure surprise. Suddenly, he felt very warm. And the warmth made him feel uncomfortable. The young heir cleared his throat and then rolled his thumbs in the wait for Charles to come. "That's good".

 

Soon the older man entered the room and began to work like Ikuto had ordered him to. Meanwhile, he was looking over some things on his laptop. Thereafter when Charles was done he sent him away and started to work on his own. And almost two hours passed before the man drew a deep sigh and sunk down on his chair, raising his arms high up in the air before rubbing his forehead with his fingers. "Finally...done..Wanna play a set of pitch and putt Mian? I can show you how you do it~" He suggested with a rather tired smile on his face before standing up.

[Kotorichan]

Mian poked his head out of the water just enough to watch Ikuto and the butler for a few minutes. He quickly lost interest and sunk back underwater. It wasn't really big enough to swim, but he still tried for a little bit. Eventually he realized it was impossible and just curled up on the jacuzzi floor. He had gills so he didn't have to worry about breathing. After a minute or two he fell fast asleep, perfectly comfortable in the warm water. He didn't even hear Ikuto speak to him.

[Keru-chan]

When no answer came the young heir walked up to the jacuzzi to find the male sleeping on the bottom of it. Ikuto raised a eyebrow at the sight before softly laughing and smiling at the whole thing. Cute. Well it seemed like he had to play alone then.

 

He played a couple of times before eventually growing bored of it and he went back to the jacuzzi. Was it best to wake the other one? Or should he just let him be? Slowly he reached his hand into the water to ever so gently poke the male. "Mian..".

[Kotorichan]

Mian whimpered softly and opened his eyes. He looked up at the man and slowly sat up. "I'm sorry..." he whimpered, rubbing his eyes sleepily. "I didn't mean to just fall asleep like that... Have I been sleeping for a long time?" he frowned, worried that if he had been asleep too long his owner would be upset with him.

[Keru-chan]

Ikuto drew back his hand as soon as he noticed that the other one began to move under the water surface. Thereafter he stepped back a few steps to not get wet just in case. "No, not at all. You can stay here if you want, and I can also get you up to my floor again. It's so that I'm going to go on a meeting outside and I can't bring you with me. I'll ask Charles to stay with you though so you don't have to worry about anything". He smiled, ever so softly and then straightened his back, picked up his phone and called the workers at the parking lot beneath the house to prepare a car.

 

Under the time Mian had been asleep he had gotten an urgent call from one of their factories that there had been a burglary. And then he had been requested to come and take a look.
