The Cruel Outside (1x1 pigeon and Keru-chan)

[Keru-chan]

That soft smile that aappeared on the male's lips made his heart throb as he himself smiled even brighter. "You're so silly..." he said and then withdrew his hand and observed how the other one then started to eat.

 

"Mian, are you a virgin?" He suddenly asked and took a sip from the wine in his glass. He was simply just curious. What was this thing called love for him? And what was it for his tribe?

[Kotorichan]

Mian whimpered softly st the question, quickly looking away with a fearful expression on his face. "I.. Um... I was but the trainers..." he bit his lip and stopped eating. The memory had made him lose his appetite. He looked up at Ikuto, he wasn't sure if he needed to finish his sentence, he didn't want to explain in anymore detail. His tail wrapped tightly around his leg, somehow he felt ashamed for the event. He didn't really want Ikuto to know, he felt dirty. "I'm sorry..." he murmured.

[Keru-chan]

The young heir observed the other one closely as he answered the rather unnecessary question. He could have just kept quiet and drink his wine. Instead he had spoken and now the creature sat there and apologised. "Why are you apologising? It's not you who should apologize, it's them" he said and then took another sip from the wine.

 

With a sigh he put the glass down on the floor and then crossed his legs in the armchair. "How do you feel when you see me Mian? Do you know what it means to be in love?".

[Kotorichan]

Mian's cheeks darkened in embarrassment. "Love? Um... I know what that is... We call it something different but... It's the same thing..." he looked away nervously. "I really like you... I don't know if it's love... W-would it be bad if it was?"he looked at the young heir with wide eyes. "I-I probably just really like you, s-so you don't need to worry about me being annoying..." his gaze dropped down to the floor again. "If it is love, I promise I won't act strangely... Just please don't throw me out..."

[Keru-chan]

He really liked him, but he didn't love him? Well, that is what friends is right? Though somewhere inside of him he felt how a sudden pain stabbed his heart. Making the corner of his mouth jerk. "I would never throw you out" he said and then leaned back into the armchair. "And no it wouldn't be bad if it was..." a short breath then he finished the sentence with a muffled mumble. "But I think I wish it was".

 

Slowly he began to relax as he then, minutes later fell asleep. Exhausted from the long work it wasn't hard at all for him to just fall asleep like that.

[Kotorichan]

Mian's eyes widened as he heard the last part of Ikuto's sentence. He looked over at the man but didn't say anything. He sat still for a few minutes before slowly walking up to Ikuto. He bit his lip as he noticed the man was asleep.

 

He wasn't full sure if he loved Ikuto or not, it seemed like it would be strange to love a human. But he couldn't deny that he felt something towards him. And Ikuto had said that it wouldn't be bad...

 

Mian lightly traced his fingers over the sleeping human's cheek. He examined the man's features before leaning in and pressing a sweet kiss to his lips.

[Keru-chan]

He dreamed about flowers. Stars. The night sky. The glowing moon. But out of all things he dreamed about the only thing that seemed to come back every time was him. Thag mysterious creature. Mian. He looked so cute. Happy. He was smiling. It was a truly genuine smile. Then suddenly, everything disappeared.

 

The young heir woke up with a tired grunt as he writhed in the armchair. Tirelt rubbing his eyes he thereafter heaved the eyelids up and revealed his eminenc3 coloured eyes. "Mian...?" He mumbled as he lifted himself up from the chair and looked around. For how long had he been sleeping?

[Kotorichan]

Mian had been sitting patiently at Ikuto's feet the entire time he was asleep. He hadn't know what else to do since he wasn't supposed to go in the pool until the water was fixed. He had drifted off into a light sleep but Ikuto's voice woke him with a start. He looked up at the human with wide eyes. "yes?" he asked softly, sitting up straighter.

[Keru-chan]

A light sigh slipped past his lips that was curved into a vague smile. "Oh nothing, I just wanted to make sure you were here" he said and then sat down once again. "But why are you sitting on the floor? You could've at least made it comfortable for yourself if you were going to wait for me to wake up". He reached out for the other one and then regretted it after having recalled the kiss.

 

"I think...I wanna take a shower, you wanna join me Mian?" He said and stood up to then fetch a towel.

[Kotorichan]

Mian got up quickly with a bright smile. "Yes! I'd like to." he followed Ikuto. "I stayed on the floor because I didn't know where else to go... And I wanted to be close to you..." he cooed softly. He felt like he was beginning to understand his own feelings more, he had spent the entire time Ikuto was sleeping trying to figure out what he felt for the human. He didn't want to tell Ikuto though, he wanted to make sure the human wouldn't react badly.

[Keru-chan]

So eager....That was the only thought that passed his mind as he was a little caught off guard by that bright smile on the male's lips. "Okay..." he said and then took another towel before opening the door to the bathroom.

 

The young heir took off his shirt, his pants and his underwear before turning the water on. Of course he had it on cold. He always showered in cold water. It made him think clearer. Stepping into the cold shower he shuddered and then drew his hands through his wet hair.

[Kotorichan]

Mian slipped off his robe and stepped into the the shower and immediately let out a cry of pain and confusion at the cold water. He immediately backed out of the shower, shivering violently. "s-so cold..." he whimpered, hugging his arms to his body. "why is it so cold?" he looked like he was about to cry.

[Keru-chan]

He could feel a slight warmth spreading over his cheeks as he glanced towards the male that was naked (of course) and about to join him as he suddenly, was startled by something. Ikuto immediately turned the water off to hear what the other one said.

 

 

"Cold?" He then repeated and frowned before realising it. Oh, he had it turned on cold. And maybe Mian wasn't that fond of cold things. Well he already had some things that clearly pointed towards the fact that Mian liked warm things. "I'm sorry" he sighed and then grabbed the male's wrist, drew him closer as he changed the water to warm and then turned it on once again. "Better?".

[Kotorichan]

Mian trembled and clung to Ikuto as he started to warm up, wrapping his tail around the man's ankle. "I-I'm sorry... I don't like the cold..." he whimpered. He slowly pulled away but left his tail wrapped around the human. He sighed softly and tilted his head back to let the water stream over his face.

 

The water was so relaxing to him, even if it wasn't a pool to swim in. Mian slowly opened his eyes to look at Ikuto with a gentle smile. "Thank you for the water..." he said softly. It was hard for him to really express his gratitude, but he tried his best.

[Keru-chan]

The young heir stood still as the creature clung on his body, making his heartbeat pick up a pace as the water slowly turned warm. "It's okay, everyone is different" he said and then in the corner of his eyes, observed how Mian retreated but let his tail remain in touch with his body.

 

He silently stood there, in the calming yet warm stream of water that welled over them both. What was he supposed to say? The whole situation felt pretty awkward. He hadn't showered with anyone before. Except his father, but that was for a really really long time ago so that didn't count. But this wasn't strange at all right? They were both men. If Mian had been a woman, then it had been strange. Or had it? Well maybe not if they were friends but could he really consider Mian a friend? Ikuto looked at the other one to be met by a gentle smile and a soft thank you. His heart throbbed in his chest. Even if he saw Mian as a friend it was very possible that Mian didn't look at him in the same way. Who knew, maybe he was just pretending to be this kind and...weak? Maybe under that beautiful surface of his he was hiding something else. And once again he found himself spacing out for a few minutes before returning. He stepped out of the shower but left the water on.

 

"I'm going to bed, you can stay here a while longer if you want as long as you remember to turn the shower off" he picked up his white towel and wiped his face with it before showing the other one how to turn it off. After that he wrapped the towel around his hips and straightened his back. "Well then, good night Mian".

[Kotorichan]

Mian fumbled with the shower until he managed to turn it off. He quickly got out of the shower and slipped his robe back on. "I want to go with you" he said quickly, reaching out to hold onto Ikuto's arm. He wanted to stay with the human. He felt lonely without him and even if Ikuto was asleep he just wanted the man's company. Ikuto was all he had, he had lost his family and friends. The human had found him in a moment of weakness.

[Keru-chan]

The young heir was caught a little off guard by the sudden grip on his arm. But then he only softly smiled. "Come then" he said and walked out of the bathroom to proceed to the bed. Screw underwear. It was his own home and he wasn't afraid if anyone would see him naked either. Besides it was mostly just Charles and Mian that was here so it didn't matter. Mian was probably used to it. Charles didn't care.

 

Carefully he slipped under the bed sheet and then drew a deep breath as he positioned the pillow right under his head. His gaze wandered over to the male.

[Kotorichan]

Mian slipped into bed too. He snuggled close to Ikuto's warm body and wrapped his tail around the man's leg. He felt somehow safe like this and didn't want to have to move. He pressed his face into the human's shoulder. "Ikuto..." he murmured, his voice quiet and shy. "is it a bad thing if I love you?" he blushed softly at his own question, but he really wanted to know the answer. If Ikuto didn't have any feelings for him then Mian wanted to know right away.

[Keru-chan]

A soft blush appeared on his cheeks as he felt how the other one made sure to lie close to him and then buried his face in his shoulder. His heart was going like crazy in his chest. It was beating so fast that it almost hurt. And suddenly he became very...sensitive and open. It was like being close to Mian made him more aware of some things. Things like that Mian's feet were actually quite big and that his tail was a tad colder than his body. Strange.

 

The man drew a deep breath before he somewhat carefully placed his hand on the back of the male's head. "No. It would be bad though if you hated me" he smiled very vaguely and then drew the male even closer, snuggling his face into Mian's hair to then breath in his calming smell.

[Kotorichan]

Mian blushed deeply and lightly wrapped an arm around Ikuto's waist. He felt somewhat hesitant of what he was doing, but didn't want to stop just yet. "because... I... um... I do love you..." his voice was quiet, almost a whisper.

 

He started to feel fearful, what if Ikuto didn't feel the same way? or what if it ended up being a bad thing? Mian's shoulders started to tremble as he began to regret saying anything. "I-I'm sorry..." He quickly untangled himself from the human and started to pull away. "T-that was too forward of me, please don't be angry..."

[Keru-chan]

Love him? The words hit him like a rock. He felt shocked and surprised. But also happy and a bit nervous. No one had ever confessed to him before. So this thing called relationship was still a pretty much unexplored area. Well he guessed he would get to know it soon. Then suddenly the male distanced himself. Ikuto remained on the same spot, looking at the other one with soft eminence coloured eyes. "Mian, do I look angry?" He said and smiled vaguely before reaching for his hand. Gently embraced it with his own while blushing. He took in a deep breath before sitting up in the bed. Then he pulled the other one into a warm hug. It felt so nice, being this close to him.

[Kotorichan]

Mian hesitated for a moment before snuggling against the man's chest. He felt so comfortable being near the other's warm body. "you're not upset?" he asked softly, slowly closing his eyes as he wrapped his arms around Ikuto. He once again wrapped his tail around the human's leg, just wanting to be as close as possible to the man.

[Keru-chan]

"No I'm not upset. Not at all" He said as he softly smiled at the other male who then decided that it was okay to hold him back. Slowly the young heir leaned back to then lie down in the bed with a soft exhale. Ikuto let his fingers gently run through the male's hair as he then planted a tired kiss on his forehead. "You're so stupid..." he softly chuckled and then closed his eyes, drew a deep breath and snapped his fingers which made all the lights in the room to go out.

[Kotorichan]

"why am I stupid?" Mian slowly opened his eyes, slightly confused by the man's words. He felt sleepy but didn't want to go to sleep yet. It was so nice to just lay there with the other man, he felt like the happy moment might be over by the time he woke up. He yawned softly and pressed his face into Ikuto's shoulder. "I don't want to sleep..." he murmured sadly.

[Keru-chan]

"Because you are." He simply answered and softly stroked the male's head, almost like patting the other one. The eminence coloured gaze trailed up to the ceiling for a few seconds before it returned to the partner in his bed. Looking at him ever so softly. He then smiled and wiggled his toes under the sheet. "But if you don't sleep you're going to be tired, right?".
