He took a step toward the sobbing girl... hoping to comfort her but he stopped as his cell phone rang. He pulled it out, seeing it was June...he slowly answered the phone. His voice sad...

" June...I'm sorry.. I can't come by... ill have to talk to you later... no.. no I'm okay... thank you for worrying about me...yes... goodbye."

He hung up, and patted the girls head, kneeling down to her... comforting her.

"Please don't cry Tara..."

He glanced at the door seeing Tsuki. He must of heard every thing. He stood up and slowly walked up to the other. His head down.

"...On that...rainy day. You left me standing there in the rain...I felt so...hurt, and betrayed...and lost... I felt like all this time you lied to me... and now that I know the reason why you left..."

He slapped Tsuki across the face hard!

"YOU LEFT ME FOR A SELFISH REASON! How could you! Why didn't you tell me the truth! You honestly think I would of abandon you all because you were sick?! Instead you run off too another woman and go to chase after your dream with out me?! Your so selfish! SO SELFISH!"

He yelled! Tears streaming down his face.

"I have never been so pissed at you!!! So mad!! And yet...

His voice cracked.

"My feelings have never changed... even seeing you now...I couldn't resist the urge to be with you again...dispite everything that happened... I can't... I can't deny my heart...and I hate it sometimes because my minds telling me you'll only hurt me again! "

He covered his face. Not wanting Tsuki to look at him.

"I REFUSE TO BE HURT BY YOU AGAIN!! I.. I have to protect my heart from you!"

All this time Aoi was trying to protect his broken heart...not wanting it to be smashed to pieces and he was terrified that Tsuki would hurt him again. He was scared to trust him again...

Tsuki was silence. He couldn`t say a word to him. Now he was there and his sister was crying. He couldn`t comfort her since he needed someone to comfort him first. He was just staring at the other`s back, looking at him talking on the phone. He didn`t understand who or what he was talking. He walked to the other after he calmed her little sister down. Tara stood up afterward as he held her chest tightly, looking at the two others. Tsuki had already prepared himself for the words that he was going to hear.

"...On that...rainy day. You left me standing there in the rain...I felt so...hurt, and betrayed...and lost... I felt like all this time you lied to me... and now that I know the reason why you left..."

Tsuki already knew that he bit his lips, opened his mouth to say something but suddenly stopped. His eyes widened as his cheek became red. He looked away after the other slapped him, silence. Let him continue.

No...he wasn`t...he just wanted to see and make him feel happy and smile forever. That was a lie! He wasn`t being selfish though Tsuki was believing that he was...he could have told him about it but he didn`t. He only thought and made his decision without even letting his love know. He was at the fault.

"I have never been so pissed at you!!! So mad!! And yet..."

The shorter boy cried along side with the two others. It only made the female`s tears to fall more but for Tsuki. He was looking down, Aoi had already shut him up to explain himself. He didn`t know what to do. He was not feeling really good.

"My feelings have never changed... even seeing you now...I couldn't resist the urge to be with you again...despite everything that happened... I can't... I can't deny my heart...and I hate it sometimes because my minds telling me you'll only hurt me again! "

The other covered his face. Tara wanted to tell him something. She didn`t know that in such a short time, they slept together. That made everything different. She held out her hand to put it on Aoi`s shoulders but the next sentence stopped her.

"I REFUSE TO BE HURT BY YOU AGAIN!! I.. I have to protect my heart from you!"

Tara`s eyes widened as she put her hand on the mouth. She looked at her brother. She felt sorry for the both and she knew that in that moment, only Tsuki could do something not her so she pulled herself back. Tsuki tried to control his balance. He pushed himself forward as he fist his hand, started talking in a terrible voice.

"You are right...that`s true! I...I hurt you...you have he right to leave me, to protect you`re heart from me...but..."

He paused a bit as he looked at the other`s eyes.

"It hurt so much...I just didn`t want you to suffer for the rest of your life but I made you to suffer...I`m so sorry..."

He smiled at the other as he moved closer and sat on his knees, held the other`s hands in his, gave them a kiss as he squeezed them and looked up with red eyes. They looked sad.

"I love you so much...I was punished...really Aoi...This two years was the worst time I`ve ever had. I finally could feel happy after a long time...I`ve had enough of leaving alone, in this house...so please...give me a chance...I promise that I would make you happy...I promise that I won`t betray you...you are the only reason that I am breathing now...please don`t do the same thing that I did to you...Please...I`m begging you..."

Tara`s heart was breaking apart, seeing how his brother was trying to get his love back. She wanted them to be together. She loved them both and she wanted to see them smile once more when they were holding hands.

Aoi pulled his hands away from the man who stood on his knees and kissed them. He whipped his face, struggling to stop crying, sniffling like a child as he heard the boy speak.

When Tsuki finished Aoi slowly met his eyes Looking like a child...

"... Y...you idiot! "

He fell into the others arms, barring himself in the others warm chest. He began sobbing.

"I love you!.... I.. I forgive...you"

He said crying. Gripping at the others shirt, snot building up in his nose. His hair fell into his eyes. The two of them were either hopeless...or they had something called...true love.

"I..I'm sorry I slapped you! I'm sorry I... I yelled"

"... Y...you idiot! "

Tsuki never expected such a thing after the words he said. He looked at the other, saw him crying like a real child. He blinked while tears falling down. His eyes widened when the other fell into the other, sobbing. Tsuki couldn`t believe it.

"I love you!.... I.. I forgive...you"

Tara`s smile turned back to her face. It was a funny face since she was still crying but Tsuki was still thinking that this was a dream.

"I..I'm sorry I slapped you! I'm sorry I... I yelled"

Tsuki tried to concentrate. He held the other tightly as he clenched his eyes, still crying. He smelled the shorter boy as he whispered smiling.

"Don`t ever apologize! You did nothing wrong...Please don`t cry!"

He pushed the other gently as he put away his tears, he looked at his sister with a kind smile.

"I`m talking to you too, Come here!"

Tara nodded as he ran to the two love birds, threw himself on her brother`s arm. Tsuki put his hand on the girl`s shoulders as he did the same to Aoi. He turned to Aoi as he kissed his forehead and then Tara`s afterward. He held both tightly, tried to warm them up.

"I love you both! A lot! Thank you for caring for me..."

He brushed his lips against Aoi`s lips as he moved back.

"I won`t let you go any longer! I`ll make sure that you always smile!"

Tara smiled at Aoi, putting away her tears, mumbling.

"I`m just so happy!"

Aoi could feel Tsuki's tight grip around him. His new boyfriend was smiling at him whispering in his ear.

"Don`t ever apologize! You did nothing wrong...Please don`t cry!"[/Quote]

He slowly pushed Aoi back and whipped his tears away...but they only continued to fall. The boy was sobbing so much... Tsuki soon pulled him and his little sister into a big, tight hug.

Aoi nuzzled into the basketball player after feeling the kiss on his forehead.

"I love you both! A lot! Thank you for caring for me..."[/Quote]

"I... I love you...too"

He whispered. Blushing as Tuski brushed his lips against Aoi`s lips. He was so sweet...and he was a fantastic kisser!

"I won`t let you go any longer! I`ll make sure that you always smile!"[/Quote]

"Um... Takumi Tsuki.."

A junior high Aoi stood in front of the younger basketball player. Aoi was shaking slightly because he was so nervous...He had sweaty palm's and he struggled to meet the handsome boys gaze. This was it... He was going to confess!

"Thank you for coming here today"

He bowed his head- speaking quickly.

My name is Aoi Fujitaka from Class 4. B. And I... and I really Like you! Please go out with me"

Aoi said blushing as he starred at the ground with trembling fists. He was too scared to raise his head.

"I... I love you...too"

Just those three gentle and kind words, made Tsuki relax a bit. He sighed as he felt at ease. He stumped his head, gave his neck plenty of kisses, stroking his hair. Tara was a bit shy, she blushed as she looked away, shut her eyes, groaning at his brother.

"Mou~Tsuki! You are such a prevent!"

She said as she tood up walking to the door, she took a look at them with a pretty smile on the face. She wondered what that feeling was, she didn`t know but she wanted to fall in love too. She went inside to make a lunch for them and also to leave them alone for a bit. She was happy and it sometimes made her smile when she looked at them from the window.

They were two lovers that they saw each other after a long time and they were idiots when they were holding each other like that.

In that day, a guy asked for him to call to the yard of his middle school. It looked like he had a word to discuss with the tall student. He went there on time as he leaned to the tree and started playing with the basketball on his fingers, not really interested to know what the boy from the other class wanted to talk about. He stared at the other as he bowed.

"My name is Aoi Fujitaka from Class 4. B. And I... and I really Like you! Please go out with me"

He was a guy! Was he messing with him? Tsuki was a bit shocked. Not that it was obvious by looking at his face. There was no expression, no kindness.

Tsuki closed his eyes as he tried to concentrate. He sighed as he looked at the other. He passed by him as he said in a calm but cool voice.

"I don`t want to!"

He head to the gate, he wanted to go to the basketball field near his house and play.

Aoi opened his eyes as the boy he liked passed by him, tenseing at his words.

"I don`t want to!"[/Quote]

He stood up straight as he gave a sad smile to the other...watching him leave. Tears building up in his eyes as he was rejected. He ran to the schools storage room behind the school, where June was waiting from him. All the courage he had build up to ask Tsuki out was pointless, because the man only shattered it into a million pieces!

"Hey Aoi how'd it-"

June stopped seeing his best friend run to him in tears. June promised to meet Aoi here, for support but it would seem...the poor boy was rejected.

 

June hugged his friend as he sobbed.

"Its ok Aoi... who needs a loser like that anyway. I think anyone would be blessed to date you. Your smart...and really kind...and cute. Don't let this guy get you down."

He patted Aoi's head,

"If you stop crying I'll take you to that ice cream shop you like so much...I'm buying~ "

He smiled at Aoi- struggling to cheer him up. June was a good friend...and he hated seeing Aoi sad and crying...But all this time...he struggled to tell Aoi the truth about his feelings. The truth was... he liked Aoi....he loved him and would kill to see him happy.

"o...o..k.."

Aoi said sniffling, and rubbing his eyes. He took June's hand nuzzling into his arm as stray tears continued to fall. June sighed.

"I'm sorry Aoi... I wish I could make you happy."

He shook his head, looking up at June.

"J..just stay with me...I..I don't want to...be a-alone.. "

"Sure...anything for you."

"...June..."

"Hmm?"

"Thank you...for everything. "

"Any time Aoi....what are friends for?"

Tsuki was walked out of the school, taking strong steps. He put his bag on his right shoulder, holding it lightly with one of his fingers. His other hand was other full with the orange ball. He smiled lightly as he looked at it again. He missed playing with it. Though he was just practicing with the other members of the club in the school`s gym.

 

He loved basketball, ever since he could remember. Even before his sister was born, he loved to watch the basketball games though he couldn`t really understand about them. He started playing from preschool. In that time, his parents knew and let him play but just for fun. They didn`t notice that how much the small boy was serious about it. They started to feel worried about Tsuki playing basketball. In that time, basketball was just like breathing for Tsuki. He was improving well. He was so good at it. It made him even grew in height and became a muscle student. He was so handsome though he just finished preschool. His father didn`t allow him to to play any longer when he talked about becoming a pro of basketball. He couldn`t let him to since he had to be his successor in his company but Tsuki never except it. From that time, he hated his family for forcing him on what to be in the future. He secretly attended the basketball club in his middle school and started practicing even harder. He knew that someday he had to leave so he had to show them that he wasn`t wrong about being a pro.

He also hardly trust people. He didn`t talk much ad most of the people he knew and all his friends were related to basketball or were in basketball club. He never thought of going out with someone since he knew that all the girls that asked his out wanted him for his money not him and his basketball so because of that he always rejected them immediately but that was the first time that a boy asked him out. He was thinking inside. 'how far would somebody go for money?' He was still a bit shocked but tried to threw those thoughts away.

He arrived at the field of basketball as a grin appeared on his face. He started dribbling the ball as he ran to the basket and jumped threw the ball inside. He was near to dunk. His coach told him that he would be able to dunk if he plays basketball for another three or four years. He wanted the time pass so that he could show his parents that he is perfect.

He stepped back after he was landed, he threw himself in the air, with a handsome smile. He was proud of himself.

Aoi sighed as he walked by himself, heading home. June had managed to stop His crying And even had him laughing here and there when they were eating ice cream. Dispite not liking sweets... Aoi enjoyed that ice cream shop because the works there were very kind and they sang a funny little song when you entered the story, Aoi could only handle maybe one scoop of ice cream and he would only have a few bites of it...Aoi hated sweets.

"Aoi! You heading home? "

Aoi stopped turning his attention to a man taking out the trash. He knew him well... He was around 40 years old and owned a nice bar down underneath his shop. Aoi would often play his piano and get paid for it...apparently the customer's really liked him.

"Mr Takashi... "

Aoi tried to smile.

"Y-Yeah I was.."

"I see... that's too bad, the bars pretty packed right now... if your not busy will you play a little something? "

"oh... I uh."

"Come on.. I'll give you 200 bucks, and something to eat... I know you get tired eating store bought food."

Aoi's fake smile grew into a small real one.

"A-Alright Sure! Anything for you!"

He ran down to the bar and tossed his bag behind the bar. The bartender smiled seeing Aoi.

"Long time no see kid. You gonna play us something. "

"Yeah- while I do that will you make me a burger, mustard, no ketchup, and lots of pickles, Fries too! And a Sprite please"

"As usual. Oh course, "

 

It was as if Aoi forgot about his awful rejection. He sat in front of the grand piano and let his fingers dance along the keys... playing a amazing tune. He looked...so happy.

Tsuki didn`t notice the time passed so fast. He couldn`t feel or hear anything when he played basketball. He was so exited that he wanted to scream and blow out it out. He was getting all warmed up and serious though he was playing alone.

He was happy that it was the middle of the day. The weather of so hot and it made Tsuki to enjoy playing basketball on his own. Other would not bother him by watching him play or asking him for one on one for even more than that. He loved to play basketball just with his teammates or alone.

In other words, he liked to do everything on his own or spend time alone, all thinking about basketball and basketball. The cool point was that he didn`t get tired of it but he wondered what would happen if he started talking or hanging out with new people or at least dating with someone.

He couldn`t trust anybody. He didn`t want his heart to b broken. Her sister always told him that. 'You don`t have to look for your love! Your love will come to you itself' It was a kinda joke to Tsuki but it was meaningful and the truth.

He played for 45 minutes without a break, it made him all sweaty and exhausted but he didn`t want to go home. He sighed as he put away his sweats from his face. He walked to his bag as he pulled out his phone and turned it on. He saw two miss calls and three messages. It was all from his sisters. She was always worried about him and that bothered Tsuki. He opened the messages! It was obvious that what the first one was about!

Where are you? Did you have extra classes?

Tsuki sighed, he ignored the first message as he opened the second one!

Subject: Getting worried!

Hey! Why don`t you answer your phone! I am worried!

Tsuki wanted to put his phone inside his bag but he really wanted to know what was the last message about. He took his ball, started dribbling while reading the last one.

Subject:Angry!!!

HEY!!!!I AM GETTING ANGRY!

Tsuki replied back to the other. He couldn`t help it since she was the only one who ever worried about him.

Subject:You know it yourself

I am playing basketball! Don`t bother me now!

Tsuki put the phone on the bag`s pocket as he tried to concentrate on the basketball, dribbling strong.

{ 3 Day Later }

"Hey Aoi!"

Aoi stopped in the middle of the hall way. Turning around to see a friend calling for him.

"Yes?..."

"Hey...your going to the music room after school right? To practice for states? You are the best piano player in school,"

"Actually... I was."

"Cool... would it be okay if I stayed to listen?"

Aoi thought about it and shrugged.

"Sure, I don't mind. As long as your quiet, "

"Great! Your the best Aoi!"

He hurried off to his next class. Aoi sighed as he tried to figure out what he was going to play. Or let alone if he was going to win. He was still hung up on Tsuki rejecting him.

[Ryouta]

In that day, like always, Tsuki was doing something related to basketball. The basketball club had practice after school and he was getting all excited just for playing with his teammates. He had already warmed himself up and he was ready to defeat.

"Hoi! Takumi! You are all getting serious again!"

"Relax a bit! It`s just a practice game with your own teammates!"

Tsuki had an evil grin on his face. He was dribbling strong and fast.

"Is there any problem with that, Senpi?"

His senpies laughed as they shook their head!

"Great job! Bring it on!"

"Sorry but We are going to defeat you today!"

Tsuki laughed as the game started. He was at the position "Power Forward" He stood in front of his upper classmates with the other four of the group.

"Like hell that would happen!"

He said running towards the basket as he passed two of the rivals and shot inside and scored the first point.
