Lover & Fighter ((Ryouta Basket & Pigeon))

[Kotorichan]

Ein frowned as he saw Ryou's sad expression. He stood up and wrapped his arms around the boy's waist, pulling him close. "it's going to be okay my love... We'll figure this all out..." He kissed his forehead before pulling away to get himself dressed. "Today will be wonderful Ryou, I know that there will be some people who won't like who you are and who we are... But they don't matter..." He turned back to the prince and smiled. "I think we can be very happy together, and we can convince people to understand us over time"

[Ryouta]

Ryou smiled and nodded. "Okay!" He slowly pushed away and tried to calm himself down. Yes, he was going to do it, even if he was going to betray his family and country. Ein...killed his father to rescue him. He smiled as he waited for the other to get dressed, tried to be more positive like before. "Come on, Ein! I can`t wait!" He said as he started making his hair into a special style and that style matched his new dress. He blushed darker and he felt like that Ein had the right to fall for him, he laughed of his own thoughts.

[Kotorichan]

Ein wrapped his arms around Ryou's waist from behind and gently kissed the boy's neck. "you look beautiful... I hope you don't expect me to hide my feelings for you in any way.. I won't be able to resist a kiss or a few light touches with you so beautiful..." he smiled and slowly pulled away. "of course I wouldn't want to embarrass you... I merely mean to introduce you as the prince that I'm courting" he gently caught Ryou's hand and pressed a kiss to his skin. "my dearest love... If only I could introduce you as my fiancé..." he sighed softly.

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other and smiled. "It`s so great to have you here..from tomorrow you can all have me and do anything do want...since I`m going to give myself to you!" He blushed as he kissed him gently. "Come on! Let`s go!" He grabbed his hand and pulled him to the door. He walked outside as he let the hand go. He sighed, he had to act like a real prince and not like a servant. He tried to remember that. He hoped that his parents would be come. He just hoped. He stood behind the older prince and waited for him to start walking. He really was getting nervous, letting all those maids know that he was a prince. they would probably curse themselfs for missing such a chance.

[Kotorichan]

Ein smiled at him. "if you would like to hold my hand I would be most honored, prince Ryou" he said gently before starting to walk to the hall where the guests were already gathering. "Most of the guests will already be here, so it shall be somewhat crowded... It would be best if you could stay close to me so that no harm may befall you" He glanced over at the prince with a smile. "I swear on my life that I will protect you my love..." he reached over to lightly touch the boy's cheek for just a moment.

[Ryouta]

Ryou blushed dark of the last action of Ein as he slowly slapped his hand away. "What are you doing, baka?? Don`t do this again!" He mumbled as turned around to go for a drink but suddenly a few woen gathered around him, shocked of seeing him in there. "Arre!!! Ryou sama, Ryou sama, what are you doing here??" "Are you alright?? I`ve heard that you were completely sick s you couldn`t come out of the castle!!" Oh, that was probably a story that his father made so that he would not lose his honor. He knew a few of those girls, most of them had crush for him. "I`m fine now! Hehe!" He managed a smile at them and then one of them got closer, grabbing his arm. "Will you company me to a dance??"

[Kotorichan]

Ein clenched his jaw as Ryou first pushed his hand away and then was surrounded by a swarm of young women. He couldn't help but feel jealous, especially since it would make so much sense for the prince to choose a pretty girl above an older man like Ein. He took a deep breath and bowed slightly to Ryou. "Well, prince Ryou it was quite a pleasure speaking with you. I once again urge you to stay away from any secluded areas because of the former relationship of our country" he forced a sweet smile before turning away from the group.

[Ryouta]

Ryou watched the other walked away. He looked at the girls and forced another gentle smile on him, he slowly pushed the girl away and bowed. "I apologize but I can`t now, I need to do something." That was the best explaination that he could say. He rushed to the other prince and grabbed his hand fast and ten let go. "Ein, I`m here!" He walked in front of the other. "Where do you think you are going, didn`t you say that you will protect me, then why didn`t you help me get rid of those girls. "He blinked as he grinned. "Are you jealous??" He laughed slowly as he stopped and smiled gently. "You are such a stupid man!"

[Kotorichan]

Ein blushed softly and looked down at the floor. "of course I'm jealous... I don't want to hide how I feel for you Ryou, I don't want you to feel ashamed for being with a man..." he sighed and looked back up at the prince's face, his expression sad. "And I'm so scared that one of those girls will steal you away from me... If you fell for one of them your life would be so much more easy... you wouldn't have to worry about what your family or anyone might think of you..." he reached up to touch Ryou's cheek but quickly pulled his hand away. "I don't want to lose you..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou sighed as he gently grabbed the hand that was pulled away from him and put it on his cheek, smiling gently. He closed his eyes and blushed dark. "Okay, I think it`s think to introduce me and tell me who am I really and what do you feel about me!" He said as he took his arm, like a prince and princess walking in a party. He picked two drinks from a waiter that was standing there and gave one of them to Ein. "Shall we drink, prince Ein, no...King Ein??" He smiled and laughed gently. "That doesn`tr really suit you!" He walked to the center of the hall and looked at the other. Waiting for him to come and tell everybody how he feels. He hadn`t see his father so he was still relaxed until then.

[Kotorichan]

Ein felt a soft blush color his cheeks at the boy's words. "of course..." he took the drink and took a small sip to calm himself. He followed Ryou to the center of the room and looked around for a moment. "Everyone, if I could have your attention for a moment I have a few words for you" He spoke loudly enough that he could be heard and soon enough the hall went quiet. "As you all know my father passed in a terrible accident just a few days ago, his sense of sanity had been lost and finally took his life... Now I hope that as the new king I can honor my father's life by making this country even more wonderful. And so I would like to introduce Prince Ryou, the second prince of Harakouyu. We met by chance and although our countries have been in conflict for years, we have saved each other's lives many times..." He took a deep breath and looked down at Ryou with a smile. "And although it is quite... Untraditional... I have found that I am completely in love with him..."

[Ryouta]

Everyone started speaking and whispering into each other`s ears. It freaked Ryou out. Maybe Ein shouldn`t have tell them about their relationship. He felt stars and glares all over him. He stepped back a bit. He tried to be protective, he placed his hands on his chest, looking down down suddenly, e felt something weird. H turned around saw his father and brother. It was so bad, so bad! He didn`t know what to say, his heart was going to jump out of his chest and he couldn`t breath well. He started trembling heavily. He wanted to escape but he knew that he couldn`t. Raiko, his brother seemed so angry, fist his hand, biting his lips. That wasn`t so surprising! He was always like that, showing that he hated Ryou. He didn`t know do to do but if he could just tell them the it was all a lie, who would understand?? He could get back to his life but it wasn`t that easy, he couldn`t break Ein`s heart. Suddenly he heard his father sighed. He suddenly raised his hand up and signed. The people from Harayuki took out their swords. As the guards saw that, they gathered around Ein and the guests to defend them. Ryou didn`t know what happened but suddenly everyone started to scream and fighting with each other. Inthat crowded, he was separated from Ein and he couldn`t find him.

[Kotorichan]

Ein looked around at the people talking. He refused to show any kind of doubt. He noticed Ryou's family and frowned slightly. "It's going to be okay Ryou..." he murmured just before the swords were pulled out. He instinctively drew his own blade and reached out for the young prince, but it was too late. He blocked an attack and quickly took a couple steps towards the direction he thought Ryou had gone. "Ryou! Ryou where are you?" He tried to keep the panic out of his voice as he called out for the boy. A blade left a deep cut in Ein's arm as he tried to look for Ryou, he was forced to turn back to his attackers to defend himself.

[Ryouta]

Ryou was hopeless. He found a knife on the ground as he stood up and turned around! He was shocked, it was Raiko in front of him with his usual sword. He suddenly attack him with his sword. Ryou managed to protect himself with his weapon but he didn`t know how long he can resist against him, he was stronger and also his weapon was bigger. His sweets began to fall, he wanted to cry. He had truly missed his brother but he wanted to kill him now. He looked at him with the innocent eyes. "Please stop! We can...we can make peace together big brother! You can be a bright king like Ein. Please think about it a bit." Raiko bit his lips. "Even if that was true, I would not ever forgive you, you betrayer! I`ll kill you right now." He managed to threw Ryou`s knife away, he fell on the ground, he was about to stab him that suddenly, Souma appeared and defeated his prince.

[Kotorichan]

Ein kept getting injured, he was too distracted with trying to look for Ryou. He couldn't believe that he had been so careless. why didn't I hold on to him? Why didn't I take him somewhere safer? Why didn't I have guards closer to us? he thought, cursing his mistakes. The idea of failing to protect Ryou and to find him dead was too much for Ein to bear. He had cuts all over his arms and torso and even a couple on his face. He managed to move in the direction he thought Ryou had gone, he finally spotted Ryou through the people and tried to call out to him.

[Ryouta]

Souma started fighting with the older prince in order to protect Ryou. Ryou was shocked, he knew that he was his special protective but he didn`t think that he would defend him this far even from the future king of Harayuki. He tried to stand up but he couldn`t, somehow he was not feeling well. Souma was still fighting. He knew that he couldn`t resist much longer so he turned back his face. "Please, prince, escape before it`s going to be too late!" Ryou didn`t want that, even if he wanted to..." I can`t stand!" He was worried about Ein he looked around as he saw Ein, calling him out, he tried to shout! "Ein...help us!!" He saw him all injured and felt like that he was stabbed in the heart. He was so worried now!

[Kotorichan]

Ein rushed to Ryou's side, ignoring his own injuries. "Ryou, oh my god..." he quickly picked the prince up in his arms, cradling him to his chest. He glanced at Souma, recognizing him as the assassin from before. "Thank you for saving Ryou" he said just loud enough for the man to hear "keep yourself alive, I'll keep him safe" He help Ryou firmly and rushed through the crowd, pushing aside anyone who tried to attack him and shielding Ryou with his own body. He finally stopped when he was surrounded by his own bodyguards, they began to urge him towards a room that they would be able to defend.

[Ryouta]

Ryou felt like that he was safe when Ein came to him, he passed out right after, not able to hear what the both male said. He just wanted to be in Ein`s arms, forever! He slowly opened his eyes after a while, noticed that still Ein was there but there was no fighting and there weren`t even in the hall. Ryou suddenly remembered everything and rushed. He tried to sat up. "Souma! Where is Souma?? Is he still fighting? I should safe him!" He slowly pushed him away, worried about his protective, knew that he couldn`t fight Raiko alone! He walked out f the room and grabbed a sword from one of the guards, he rushed back to the hall. He was worried about Ein the most but he didn`t want to lose his precious brother and friend in all these years, he attack Raiko from behind and started fighting with Souma.

[Kotorichan]

Ein gasped when Ryou pulled away. "Ryou!" He grabbed his own blade and rushed after the boy. He joined his lover in the fight, shooting him a worried glare. "you fool, it's dangerous" he hissed. He wasn't really angry at all but was extremely terrified that Ryou would get injured if he was out here. He didn't want to kill Ryou's brother but he couldn't let his love be killed and if Ryou insisted on fighting then he refused to stand by and let him fight alone.

[Ryouta]

Suddenly more guards came and defended and attacked Harayuuki`s guards. Ryou didn`t want to hurt his people but he didn`t want to lose Sounma or Ryou! He watched his father so relaxed and just watching around. He glared at Ryou and then walked to the door. "Raiko, let`s go for now!" He said as Raiko bit his lips and then walked to his father. He sighed and everybody stopped fighting following the king. "Don`t think it is over now, New king! I`ll smash you up, all your country and I kill you and that betrayer!" Ryou watched his father leaving the castle as he slowly fainted and lost his balance. Souma rushed to him and he managed to get him in his arms. "Ryou sama! Are you okay??"

[Kotorichan]

Ein glared at Ryou's father as he left, he quickly turned to Ryou just in time to see Souma catch him. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealously at the other man holding his beloved so closely. He hurried over and carefully tried to take Ryou in his arms."it must have been a stressful day... He needs to rest..." he cradled the boy and lightly kissed his forehead. "I'll take the prince to my room to let him sleep, please send a doctor to treat any injuries that he might have" he ordered one of his guards, still barely noticing his own blood soaked clothing.

[Ryouta]

Ryou was taken to Ein`s room. He couldn`t feel nothing but nervous. Noe his father hated him. He was sweating hard and panting lightly though he hadn`t much injures. He just wanted to know if Ryou was alright or not. Souma followed the prince since he wanted to protect him, no matter what! He saw Ein as he glared at him and walked closer. He wasn`t really scared of him and he had no intention of respecting him. He fist his hands after he stood in front of Ein and felt he wanted to crush him since he was all at the fault. "I don`t trust you! If something happens to my prince, I`ll kill you immediately!" He said as he walked inside the room and sat next to Ryou, he watched the boy sleeping as he smiled gently, felt like he missed that.

[Kotorichan]

Ein sat down next to Ryou too, his gaze staying on the sleeping boy's face. "I would rather die than let anything happen to Ryou..." he lightly brushed the prince's hair out of his face, frowning deeply at the sight of the wounds. "I can't believe I was such a fool... I was far too careless..." he bit his lip to hold back tears. A couple doctors came in to treat their injuries. Ein refused to move from where he was sitting, even though the doctors kept telling him that he should find somewhere to lay down and rest.

[Ryouta]

Ryou slowly opened his eyes after a few minutes again and blinked a bit until his versions got clear. He saw Ein and Souma next to the bed. He felt relaxed and relived to see that they are safe but seeing Ein with so many wound made him feel so bad. He grabbed the sheets, squeezing it with one hand as he raised his other hand to reach the prince`s face! "Ein...I`m sorry, it`s all my fault!" Crying in silence, Ryou was feeling tired and also scared and he didn`t want to be alone. Souma slowly moved closer as he pulled the blanket on the other, he was worried about his prince. "Ryou sama...please don`t cry! I shall protect you with my life! I will do it until the end!" Ryou looked at him and smiled. "Thanks..."

[Kotorichan]

Ein gently caught Ryou's hand and pressed it to his cheek. "I'm so sorry... It's not your fault Ryou, I was far too careless... I'm so sorry my love" he held the boy's hand tightly and gently kissed his cheek. "Please just rest for now, I'll keep you safe..." He glanced at Souma, he didn't really like the bodyguard. Souma seemed far too clingy for Ein's taste, he wanted to be alone with Ryou but this man was staying in here. Ein sighed softly and gently touched the prince's cheek, he didn't want to tell Souma to leave unless Ryou wanted him gone.
