Lover & Fighter ((Ryouta Basket & Pigeon))

[Ryouta]

Ryou shivered hardly, hearing his words. He buried his face into his chest, crying hard. "I...I love you, I don`t care where and who would make me happy! Nice or painful, I`m in love with you so I can`t choose something else! You should take responsibility! You stupid!" He tried to warm himself up with the other`s body heat! He sniffed as he pushed away and then looked at the other crying, he got sad as he raised his small hands to put the tears away. "Didn`t I tell you not to cry? You never learn." He smiled gently, the boy was so beautiful with that smile and the small diamonds of tears falling down. He placed his finger on his lips and chuckled a bit. "I think that I should wash my lips!" He said and licked off the blood from his down lip. "So...what did you want to tell me?" He said and walked to the bed, sat down. He tried to not have much eyes contact since he knew that his face was terrible now, he washed his face with the water bowl next to the bed!

[Kotorichan]

Ein sat next to him and gently took the boy's hand. "Ryou... I know that I've asked you to marry me in the past and you refused, and I don't want to push you if you aren't ready for that..." he trailed off and reached into his pocket. "so I don't want to ask you again, but I do want to give you this..." he pulled a small silver necklace with a tiny silver heart pendant with diamonds around the edges. "I know it's sort of girly... it belonged to my mother when she was alive... But I want you to have something to remind you of me, if we ever fight or have to be apart... I want you to be able to look at this and remember that I love you with all of my heart... I always will..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou`s eyes couldn`t look away from the beautiful diamond! His tears gathered around his eyes again, he was so happy! He accepted the necklace and hugged the other! "Thanks, this is so precious to me! I`m sorry that I have nothing to give you at the moment! And about the marriage, let`s talk about it after we came back!" He said and managed a kind smile. He turned around and stumped his head. "Will you wear it for me?" He asked as he looked at the other. "I`ll always treasure it and you will be always in my heart! Even if we separated and they took you from me, I`ll always wait for your return! Find me where ever I was!" He said, feeling like that his heart hurt from each word but he was happy that he had finally met the person that he wanted!

[Kotorichan]

Ein smiled and gently put the necklace on Ryou. "I'm so glad you like it... I would always look for you no matter what" He gently kissed the boy. "it looks beautiful on you..." he stood up and offered his hand to the prince. "let's go then, I can apologize to Souma if you would like me to, and I promise I won't be so rude to him again" He still felt a bit jealous of how close Ryou and Souma were, but he felt like he could deal with it now. He loved Ryou and Ryou loved him. Ein kept reminding himself of that.

[Ryouta]

Ryou nodded as he took a look at the necklace again, he took the other`s hand and stood up. "Let`s go then!" He said and pulled him out of the room. He walked out of the castle. "Let`s eat the breakfast outside too!" He saw that the carriage is ready and the same with the guards. He got excited and walked to Souma. "Did you prepare these, thank you!" He said and then grabbed his ear and pulled him down, he groaned. "Oww! What are you doing Ryou??" He moved to his ear and said quietly so no one would hear. "I will talk to you later about your today`s behavior!" He said, walking inside the carriage. "Come on Ein!"

[Kotorichan]

Ein followed Ryou to the carriage. He frowned slightly when he saw Souma, quickly reminding himself to apologize later. He told the driver where they were going, quietly so Ryou wouldn't hear, and then got into the carriage with the prince. He gently held the boy's hand and smiled at him. "I'm so glad to be finally going out with you... I think you'll really like the place that I'm taking you" he blushed lightly. "would you mind if I kissed you? or are there too many people around..." he asked softly so that only Ryou could hear him.

[Ryouta]

Ryou blushed out darkly and then looked away, he didn`t know how to answer. He deeply breathed and looked at the other. He suddenly gave his lips a warm but fast kiss and pulled away. He was really cute. "Is that fine now? Don`t ask anymore!" He mumbled and then looked out at the window and started to like the view. He really wanted to jumped out and run around but he waited until the carriage stopped. He opened the door and his eyes widened. He liked the place. It was a beautiful green hill with so many flowers. It was sure higher than other places. He started laughing and playing around like a cute child. He was happy that he could have freedom.

[Kotorichan]

Ein smiled and followed him out on the grass. "it's even more beautiful than I remember..." he murmured as he looked around. He had arranged for lunch to be brought to them for a picnic. He had considered taking Ryou to a restaurant but thought that the feeling of being outside would be better than that. He laughed softly at the sight of Ryou playing. "Ryou, come here. This cliff looks over the sea, would you like to look?" he called, holding his arms out for the boy. "its very beautiful"

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other and nodded, accepted the offer hand and walked through the cliff. He blushed out brightly out of the beauty of the view and lost in it. "It`s very amazing!" He said and his tears started to fall one by one. "I...am really happy that I have you." He said and hold the other tightly. "Can we stay like this for a while, I want to feel your warmth!" He smiled gently, after a few seconds, he heard somebody screamed and looked over with fear. "One of the guards was killed by a gun and suddenly a few men attacked, his brother was with them too.

[Kotorichan]

Ein happily held Ryou close. He looked up fearfully at the scream and pulled Ryou closer protectively. When the men attacked he pulled out his dagger and moved in front of the prince. "Ryou, stay back. I won't hurt your brother but I can't protect you if you don't stay with me" He hissed softly. "Hold on to me so we don't get separated" he blocked a couple of sword attacks, trying to slowly move towards the carriage so that the rest of the guards could help him. He wondered where Souma was, he was supposed to protect Ryou!

[Ryouta]

Ryou nodded and walked behind him but he suddenly saw Souma that was fighting against his brother, Raiko. He was suddenly defeated and collapsed on the ground. Ryou couldn`t help but to run through after he saw that his brother raised up his sword to stab him. He held his hands and tried to take the sword from him. Raiko bit his lips, he was much stronger. "Let go you brat!" He shouted and strongly pushed him away, Ryou was thrown at the cliff. He fast take the edge and tried to hold on but the rocks were hurting his hands. If he let go...he would fall, he looked down and screamed, hoped that someone would help him.

[Kotorichan]

"Ryou! Don't!" Ein yelled as the boy pulled away. He watched with horror as Ryou was thrown off the cliff. He rushed to the edge and threw himself to the ground to reach for the boy's hand, he was just a few inches away. "Ryou! Take my hand!" He yelled desperately, his eyes filling with tears at the fear of losing his beloved. An enemy stabbed his shoulder, making the king cry out in agony. Blood ran down his outstretched arm and onto his hand as he tried even harder to reach for Ryou, ignoring the pain.

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other and tears fall more. "Look out!" But it was too late! He was already injured! The drops of blood flowing down on his face made him hard to resist and it was painful that the king was still trying to help him. The enemy that injured him walked closer and saw Ryou like that, he grinned and pointed his gun at Ein. Ryou`s eyes widened but he had to do something, he pulled out his knife from his pocket and threw it at the other`s face, he managed to kill the other but with that move, lost his balance. "Ein, I will always...love you..." He said as he couldn`t hold on, his hand slipped and fall...

[Kotorichan]

"Ryou!" Ein screamed as he watched the prince fall. One of his bodyguards rushed to his side and pulled him away from the edge. "No! I have to go after him! Let me go!" Ein cried, trying to pull away. Tears ran down his face as he was dragged away. He wanted to jump after Ryou, he couldn't even think straight anymore. He felt like his world was falling apart "Ryou!" he sobbed, his struggles becoming weaker as he was dragged back to the carriage. "No... I can't leave him, I have to find him..." he didn't want to think that Ryou was dead he couldn't be dead.

[Ryouta]

Souma saw that his prince fall. He was lost into his thought, just looking at the edge that Ryou fell from. He screamed and tears came down from his cheeks. He took a glare to the king and rushed to him, grabbing his collar in his hands. "You bastard, you could have saved him, I`ll kill you! I will kill you!" Raiko was still there and his guards were fighting. He was shocked from what happened earlier! He didn`t think that if Ryou died, it would be that painful! He tried to hold in his tears! "We retreat!" He shouted, rushing to his horse and left the hill with his group. What happened to Ryou? Was he really gone forever or there was a chance that he would be alive?

[Kotorichan]

One of Ein's men was trying to treat his wounds but Ein pulled away and ran to Souma. He grabbed the bodyguard by the front of his shirt and shook him. "You bastard! What kind of bodyguard are you? He fell because he was trying to help you!" he yelled. "you- I could have protected him if he hadn't gone to help you!" His shoulders slumped forward as he lost the will to even be angry. "how... you said you'd keep him safe... why wasn't it me...?" he let out a choked sob. "Ryou... God damn it..." he raised his head to look at Souma again. "just kill me Souma... there's no point to living if Ryou is gone"

[Ryouta]

Souma got angry. "What else could I do? If I didn`t, Prince Raiko would probably attack either you or Ryou...I couldn`t help it!" He said, his voice cracking. He looked at the other that already had gave up. He glared and then slapped the king into his face. "If you died instead him, you wanted him to kill himself? You can`t just die and don`t give it in just like that!" A few guards were sent to check the bottom of the hill. The returned after an hour. "We couldn`t find anybody tracks of Ryou sama, not even his body or a drop of blood" Souma looked down and mumbled. "He was probably thrown into the sea!"

[Kotorichan]

Ein fell to his knees, burying his head in his hands. "You shouldn't have come... you know he cared too much about you, how could you be a bodyguard if your charge won't let you get hurt?" he sobbed helplessly. "Ryou... oh god why wasn't I more careful? He's gone... How can I live if he's gone..." His arm was still bleeding badly. "you said you would kill me if anything happened to him... why won't you just do it now?" he looked up at Souma, begging him to end his suffering. He didn't think he could live knowing that Ryou was gone.

[Ryouta]

Souma sat in front of him and then looked at him angrily. "Who is telling who? You were more, you know that he cared about you the most, he lost his balance to kill the enemy that wanted to destroy that brain of yours but he had saved you and also..." He said and stood up. "I`m not going to kill you because of two things, one is that I don`t want Ryou to hate me and second is that I want you to suffer! I want you to have hard times because of doing all these to Ryou, he ended up dying by his own bloody brother and betraying his family and it`s all your fault!" He said and ran to his horse. "Though, I`m not gong to give up, if he fell into the water then there is still a chance that he would be alive, but..." He paused a bit. "If I find him, I will never let you see him again!" He ride to the bottom of the hill.

[Kotorichan]

Ein couldn't gather the strength to protest. He felt like Souma was right. It had all been his fault, if he hadn't been so selfish and kept Ryou with himself then the prince would still be there. He honestly believed that his love was gone forever. It felt like his heart had been ripped out. He let himself be led to the carriage and have his wounds treated. He was brought back to the castle and taken care of. But he felt like a part of him was missing, like all the hope and joy had been pulled out of his life.

 

He spent the next two years in a deep depression, wearing all black in mourning of his love and only talking when necessary. Ein kept his country happy but never smiled or even appeared in public.

 

After one year his advisers were begging him to search for a wife, but he couldn't bring himself to move on. He still loved Ryou, he still dreamed of the prince. After the second year he finally decided to take a trip to another country. He had been offered the hand of another country's princess. He didn't want to marry her but agreed to at least meet the girl. He had grown thin over the years, often refusing meals but was still very handsome. After a three day voyage at sea he reached the dock of the other country.

[Ryouta]

Exactly like what Souma thought, Ryou fell into the sea and he was taken away with the waves to another country! He hit his head to a little rock inside the water and fainted so he didn`t understand what have happened to him after until an old man found him at the beach and took him home, take care of him and cure the would on his temple. The 16 years old boy seemed to be fine in other places of body and soon woke up but there was a big problem. Beside of shouting his lover`s name, he opened his eyes and unaware of who he was and where he was! He couldn`t even remember him own name, his clothes were all ripped and the only thing he had was a diamond necklace around his neck.

 

Two years passed and that old man was a kind man and let the other live with him, though he really wanted to know what was his past about and who gave him the necklace, he really enjoyed the time in the bar and helping the man that was like his own father.

 

It was liked that he had lost his memory but he behavior hadn`t change. It was like before. He was always trying to make others happy and smile all the time though he had pain inside his heart and sometimes cried when he was alone. He was trying his best to keep the costumers pleased from him and without knowing that his birthday had passed for two years, he soon turned to a young, bright boy that was kinda popular in his town and everybody know as a good boy. Now that he had turned to 18, the old man wanted him to find his lover but he had refused, since he didn`t since remember a thing about his past.

[Kotorichan]

Ein wandered aimlessly through the town. He had two bodyguards with him in case anything happened, but he just wanted to see everything. He didn't really look like a king in his simple black clothes so no one noticed him. He wandered into a bar with the hope of getting something to drink since he was so thirsty. He felt his heart stop as he noticed the boy inside. "Ryou...?" He asked softly. It wasn't possible, Ryou would have contacted him if he was alive. He wouldn't have stayed silent for two whole years. Ein took a couple slow steps towards the boy. "Is that you?"

[Ryouta]

Ryou was doing his work as usual, running around to give people their orders. His costumers were usually women since they liked the boy a lot and Ryou almost knew all of them. It was sometimes fun talking with them too. He was busy with his work as he felt somebody`s hand on his shoulder. The warmth wads familiar! He could feel it and he had never have such feelings from when he had lost his memories. He look back and saw a man that his eyes wee kind of familiar but he didn`t know him He gave him the same smile as he gave to other`s and bowed. "Welcome to our bar! I think you are new in our town, I`ve never see you around here! Please sit down, what shall I bring for you?"

[Kotorichan]

Ein stopped in his tracks. He felt like his heart was breaking all over again. "Ryou...? But..." the boy looked the same as Ryou, but could it be someone else? For a moment Ein thought he was wrong, that he had completely lost his mind. But he suddenly noticed the necklace he had given his lover. "Ryou, it is you! What happened? Why don't you recognize me? It's me, Ein!" He stared into the boy's eyes, searching for some form of recognition. One of his body guards gently tried to pull him away. "Ein-sama, it's not him... Ryou-sama has been gone for two years, it's just someone who looks like him..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other strangely and blinked. He didn`t recognize him even after he ried to and told his name, it was like that he was another person. He tried to concentrate and mumbled the name that he had called him. "Ryou...Ein..." A few people heard that he said he is Ein and started talking into each other`s eats, the old man, the owner of the bar, walked to Ryou. "Ayato, what`s wrong, what`s all this noise about?" He saw the other dress and the bodyguards. He understood that he was the king that was going to marry the prince by the words of the costumers. He bowed at the king. "It is my pleasure that the king Eoth is here! Please tell me anything that you want and my son shall bring it for you." Ryou bowed again and smiled at his beloved.
