Lover & Fighter ((Ryouta Basket & Pigeon))

[Ryouta]

Ryou blinked at him and then looked sad. "Do you know him?" He started to understand what was he talking about..."So, he knew me all this this and visited me but didn`t tell mew that he know me!" He said and fist his hands. Now he could understand what did the other meant by that sentence. He looked at the other and then bit his lips. "Just how bad my past was that he kept in a secret from me and you are telling me that I better live happily in here, I want to know!" It wasn`t like that he hated Souma now but he was angry! Why didn`t he tell him anything?" Ryou just couldn`t help but to shiver.

[Kotorichan]

Ein slowly turned back to Ryou. "it wasn't exactly bad... You seemed happy, but it was hard..." he gently took one of the boy's hands "you were the second prince the Harakouyu kingdom, your family mostly ignored you because you weren't as powerful as your older brother and so you ran away... you started to live with me under the alias of Haru and we... we fell in love with one another. When I found out who you really were I didn't care at all, I loved you too much" he smiled sadly. "but we announced our relationship at my coronation, and your family saw it as a betrayal... They swore to kill us both for it..." he looked down at the ground. "Souma was your bodyguard... you two seemed close but he openly despised you... I'm not surprised that he didn't tell me, but if you were suffering so much..." he shook his head. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't judge... but we were out together by a cliff overlooking the ocean, and your brother attacked... I tried to protect you but you were knocked over the cliff..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at him a bit, telling that all at once and it was a big shock. Felt like all of that wasn`t a lie. He looked down and felt the he was a prince hurt, felt that his father wanted him dead hurt, felt that his brother killed him hurt. He couldn`t believe any of that though it seemed the truth! All of it! He looked at the other as his tears fell. "Aren`t Harayuki and Eoth enemies from long before? How can I leave my own country and come to a enemy country and fall in love with the number one enemy? That`s absolutely impossible!"

[Kotorichan]

"I know it sounds crazy... but you can't choose who you fall in love with..." Ein looked at the boy sadly. "I didn't want to tell you because it's so sad... I thought maybe it would be better for you to stay ignorant of your past. But I think it is better for you to know..." He gently touched Ryou's cheek. He felt sad that he had to tell him, but it needed to be done. "I love you Ryou.. I've never stopped loving you and I just hope you can someday forgive me for my mistakes"

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at him and then stood up. He put away his tears! He might have not lying since if he wanted to kill him, he could have easily done it or maybe he wanted him alive? And then make a deal with Harayuki`s country like giving up their resisting and let them over take the country. That was what he had thought! He couldn`t still trust the other. He managed a smile but it was a bit different. "Anyway...let`s go inside the bar..." He said as he showed him a room for guests. "Please stay in this room if you don`t like to stay at the public." He said, wanted to leave.

[Kotorichan]

Ein frowned when he noticed the change in Ryou. He followed him to the room and suddenly took his hands. "Ryou, I know that this is hard to believe... But I swear that you can trust me. I'm going to turn down the marriage offer tomorrow and I'll stay here with you for as long as it takes for you to remember..." he kissed the boy's hand lightly. "I know that you must remember me deep down... Otherwise you would have taken that necklace off... I don't care how long it takes for you to remember... I'll wait for the rest of my life if necessary"

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other and then looked fast away. He nodded to agree. "After all, I need to know you but for my opinion, I think you should marry our princess! She is a nice and a kind princess and I think she would suit you better than me and she is a woman of course! You are a king and you to have successors of yourself! I don`t believe that it`s two years have passed from your coronation and you haven`t even married! If better if you would not care about me any longer, I don`t know how much the former me loved you but I`m sure that he want you to be happy! Always want you to be healthy and people talking about you being a good king not a king and forgot the better life for his country after he dies by choosing a male as his lover. Though he didn`t really want him to leave.

[Kotorichan]

Ein shook his head. "I will never be happy without you... I was planning to adopt an heir anyway, so if you decide that you truly never want to see me again and there is no way that I could ever convince you otherwise... then I will just adopt a child and raise him myself" he smiled sadly. "I refuse to marry anyone except you... I would rather die alone than marry someone else" he dropped his gaze to the floor. "I know it may seem selfish... but I can't keep living without you... without even trying to go after you"

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other. It seemed that he was deeply in love with him. He looked at the other sadly and then looked down at the ground! He managed another gentle smile and then bowed in front of the other. "Please, rest for now, you seem to be very tired at the moment!" He said as then slowly left to the door. "Please call me if you need anything. You can even go to my father`s garden. It`s a very beautiful garden!" He said in a calm but kinda sad tone of voice and left to help his father in the bar. It was already evening and they were even more people coming to the bar, getting drunk! Though Ryou was already used to dealing with them.

[Kotorichan]

Ein sighed and lay down on the bed. He stared at the ceiling for a moment before starting to cry. He didn't know if it was happy tears or not, he just felt so overwhelmed. He had finally found his beautiful Ryou, but he didn't remember anything... And the boy didnt seem to trust Ein. He curled up and sobbed softly, trying to calm himself down from his emotional overload. He just wanted to go back to their days together when everything seemed like it would be okay. He didn't know if Ryou would ever remember him.

[Ryouta]

Ryou started to help his father and took care of the costumers. Working seemed to calmed him down a bit and made him forget about everything for a while though his eyes sometimes met Ein`s guards that were getting drunk and having fun and made him remember everything! He sometimes reminded of the King and made his heart worried about him, he didn`t know why but he was! After a few hours, he walked to his room with his meal and bowed. "I brought your food!" He said in a gentle voice and then looked at the other with concern, placing his hand on his head to see if he had a fever or not. "I think you better come out a bit! It`s fun there!" He blushed brightly.

[Kotorichan]

Ein took the food and smiled gently at Ryou. "I don't know if I should... I wouldn't want to cause any problems for you" he sighed and looked down at his plate. "it might be seen as strange for you to have the king of a foreign country staying with you... I wouldn't want people to start asking questions" he took a couple bites and looked up at Ryou again. "would you sit with me while I eat? if you'd like I could come down for a few minutes when I've finished... I don't want the food to get cold"

[Ryouta]

Ryoulooked at the other sadly and then smiled and him. "Of course I`ll stay here with you and you are not bothering me, It was me actually wanting you to come out, my father didn`t say that! The bar now is so crowded and it`s so fun to be there! I bet your guards want you to come out of your room too!" He said with a gentle smile. "Hehe~ My father said that it`s almost time for the musicians to arrive so you better be there, their music is amazing, I love it!" He said like a child and then blushed out brightly! He stood up and looked at the door. "Let`s go together" He offer him a hand.

[Kotorichan]

Ein quickly finished eating and took Ryou's hand. He gave the boy a gentle smile and nodded. "alright, lets go downstairs... It will be good for me to finally be around people. I've stayed so isolated for the last two years..." he looked at the boy with obvious love and care in his eyes, just being around the other clearly made him overjoyed. He wanted to hold the boy, to just embrace Ryou and tell himself that his love was really safe. But he knew that it would be strange for him to be so forward to the boy.

[Ryouta]

Ryou got happy and went down with him. He let go of his hands before they arrived. He bowed at the other. "Please enjoy your time! I should help my father with the works since our]= workers are on the vacation!" He said as he ran to his father. "Ayato, please take this drinks to the people that ordered them." He was going to work again, he blushed out brightly and nodded. "Hai" He took the drinks and took them to the people that most of them were women, hey sometimes talked to Ryou and teased him a bit. "Nee, Ayato! Wanna hang out with us?" "You are still young and you should have fun!" Ryou all culd do was smiling at them.

[Kotorichan]

Ein sat down at one of the tables and watched Ryou from afar. He felt his chest tightening with horrible jealously at the sight of the boy talking to all the women. He wanted to go over and tell them to back off. But he knew that he couldn't do that. It would make the prince hate him even more. He watched for a few moment before standing up and leaving the bar, he needed to clear his head. One of his bodyguards followed a little ways behind him to make sure he was safe. It was one of the few people who had managed to help him even just a little while Ryou was gone. The young king sat down on a tree stump and sighed.

[Ryouta]

Ryou was busy with his work but he understood that his former lover wasn`t there. He looked around for him in the bar but couldn`t find him. He left the bar and saw him with one of his guards. He didn`t really like them but he wanted to know what was wrong since he didn`t looked really well! He walked closer and smiled, sitting in front of the other. "Is something wrong, my prince? Didn`t you like our bar?" He asked gently as he glanced at the guard. "Can it be just the two of us, please!" He said, not really have something to say but didn`t want him to be there! He caressed the other`s hair and stroked it gently, it was warm..he wondered how much he was loved by Ein, he wanted to know and there were many things to ask but he couldn`t just say it, it was hard to...

[Kotorichan]

The guard nodded obediently and left so he was just far enough to be able to hear Ein if he yelled. Ein looked away from Ryou with a sad frown. "I'm sorry... It's just hard to see you so close with other people, I want to tell them not to flirt with you but I know that I can't... You don't remember me at all so no matter how much I love you I have to keep in mind that you don't feel the same for me anymore..." the young king sighed and shook his head. "I'm so selfish, I want you all to myself even though I wasn't able to find you sooner"

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other and then down at the grass. He started playing around and stopped after a few minutes. "I promised myself that I won`t fall in love until I have knew completely about my past and if I had a lover. Now that you are here, there is no way that I would fall in love! I want the fact to be clear for me and after that, I`ll decide that which way I`m going to choose! In this past two years, the girls had always tried to spend time with me but I never go out in another place except the bar with them or such things, all of my moments were just working around and hanging it my friend in the jungle.

[Kotorichan]

"I know... Your father told me that you haven't found anyone else... But I get so jealous, even when we were together it was hard for me to hold my jealousy in... I've never really had anyone I was this close to so I don't know how to act" Ein sighed sadly. "I know it's selfish,but I just want you all to myself... I'm just worried that I'll smother you by being too clingy... so I'm trying to give you space, I know that you'll tell me when you're ready to hear more about your past..." he bowed his head. "I would love to spend time with you, just please understand that it can be very painful for me to feel so close yet so far and so I might need to excuse myself for just a few minutes..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou felt a bit hurt. Those words seemed too familiar and somehow he had heard them before but the most painful thing was that he couldn`t remember when, where or who told them to him. After the king finished with his speech, the words were just repeating in his mind. He felt confused and hesitated a bit after he pulled himself closer to the other. He sighed and then looked away, blushing. He didn`t know how he felt but it must have been hard! He moved even closer and placed a kiss on his lips gently and stood up fast. "Shall we go back now?" He asked and then grabbed the other`s arm. He stood him up and pulled him to the bar. "Please st here, in front of the workers so you can see me more than others!" He gently winked and got back to his work again, tried not to talk with the others.

[Kotorichan]

Ein's face grew bright red and he managed an embarrassed smile at the boy. "I don't know how you manage to be so cute all the time..." he murmured. He sat down at the bar and watched Ryou talk to customers. He felt a little guilty for wanting to keep his adorable lover all to himself but also relieved that Ryou still cared enough about him to not want him to get jealous. The king's bodyguard followed them inside and stood behind Ein, making sure that no one tried to hurt the king or the prince.

[Ryouta]

Ryou continued working until around 2 am. He felt a bit tired now., He sat on the chair, next to the King and smiled at him. Finally found a bit time too rest and to talk to him but suddenly a familiar voice called him. "Ayato!" He looked at the door and then smiled, blushing brightly. They were his friends from the village. "If you are not tired, then let`s hang out a bit! Also, something good had happened to Suran." He said, messing with another boy`s hair, the second boy seemed shy about something. Ryou couldn`t really do it, he wanted to stay with the king. "I`ll be back soon!" Just talking with them wouldn`t really mind, right?"

[Kotorichan]

Ein bowed his head respectfully. "Of course, you don't have to ask my permission to do things... I will do my very best to control my jealousy so please don't worry about me..." He smiled slightly and turned away. He got a drink and slowly sipped it, trying not to think about how much time he had lost with Ryou and how the boy must have met so many new people... He sighed softly and turned to his bodyguard. The two struck up a quiet conversation, anything to get Ein's mind of his troubles.

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at Suran his friend and then kinda understood what had happened to him. He grabbed his arms and shook his body a bit so interested to hear what had happened. "Hey! Hey! Don`t tell me that, she accepted the proposal!" Suran looked away and blushed more, nodding his head. "Mm~" Ryou got happy and then looked at the other,clapping his hand. "Well, that`s good to hear! You two make a great family, I`m sure!" He said as Usani the other friend, pulled Ryou close to im. "Hey, Ayato! Come on! Why don`t you start to look for your lover?" Ryou glanced at Ein, speechless.
