Lover & Fighter ((Ryouta Basket & Pigeon))

[Kotorichan]

Ein glanced over when he heard the words, he gave Ryou a look that gave away how broken hearted he truly was. It wasn't that he didn't trust the boy, but he didn't know how he would be good enough to have the prince fall in love with him again. He quickly turned away, trying to fight back tears. his bodyguard hurried to his side, wrapping a comforting arm around the king. "your highness... it's been a long day... Ryou-sama will be fine... please get some rest, you will be able to think more clearly in the morning" he helped Ein up, letting the man lean on him as they went upstairs.

[Ryouta]

Ryou was tired from the other`s same words everyday. He saw the other going upstairs so it was the time to end this and all. "I can`t! I made a promise with someone and I can`t break it. I should stay until I noticed about my feelings..." He almost shout, his friends were kinda shocked, they wanted to say something but suddenly he bowed. "I`m still busy with my works so if you would excuse me!" He said and ran to the King, he smiled gently and nodded his head. "Let`s go." H pulled the other gently after he grabbed his hand and closed the door from behind. "Ah! They always ask me that! It`s annoying!"

[Kotorichan]

Ein sighed and turned to Ryou, he smiled slightly and touched the boy's cheek. "Thank you for coming up here..." he murmured as his bodyguard stepped back to give them space. "I really don't mean to impose on you so much..." He lightly touched the prince's cheek. "I just don't know where to stand with you, I want to make sure you remember me and that you and I can be happy together... but I keep having doubts that maybe it would be better if I just gave you space and let you decide whether or not you wanted to be with me..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the bodyguard and then forced himself a smile. "Will you please...stay outside??" He said as he tried to keep the smile though it was a bit hard to smile at him. He walked behind him and then pulled him to the door. "Well then...night night mister!" He said and slammed the door, sighing hard. "Your guards are seriously...annoying" He suddenly understood what he had done and then blushed darkly and bowed. "I`m..sorry! I`m being so impolite and close with you!" He mumbled and then looked at the bed, blushing even darker, brushing his fingers through the blanket, he glanced at Ein. "So, did we do it...those kinds of things?"

[Kotorichan]

"I'm sorry that he annoys you... Devon is just trying to make sure that I'm safe..." Ein murmured. His face grew red at the question. "w-what? well... Uh... we did... once" he looked away, clearly embarrassed. It was a memory that was very precious to him and also very embarrassing. "I-I don't want to make you uncomfortable by talking about these things, y-you don't have to force yourself to act interested in me..." He stammered, he was starting to feel another wave of depression. He didn't even want to be around Ryou, it was too painful at the moment.

[Ryouta]

Ryou blushed even darker and then looked at the other and shook his head when he hard the last sentences, he felt like that it was the opposite, feeling that something is wrong, he started to see strange things in his minds now, though they were familiar, he couldn`t remember, feeling his head was in pain so he dog his fingers into his hair and then covered his face, biting his lips as he leaned his head to the other, after a while, it was over, he panted lightly and then pulled back. "Sorry, I`m fine!" Seeing the other in pain, he couldn`t take it, it was like that somebody else was controlling him. "I never say that...It`s kinda wrong...I feel like I want to..." He blushed and couldn`t tell him the rest.

[Kotorichan]

"Ryou?" Ein was overwhelmed with concern at the boy's sudden pain. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I'll stop talking about these things until you're ready... I just, I just don't know what to do... I feel so guilty for letting this happen and I want to h-hold you so badly but... if you don't remember me..." he covered his face with his hands. "I'm so sorry... I just miss you so much... And I want you to be happy but I don't know how to do that... I'm so sorry Ryou... Please forgive me"

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at him and then moved closer. "I didn`t really mean that!" He sighed and then looked at the side, blushing hard./ "I meant it`s the opposite because I...ah! I can`t explain it! I feel like that my heart is going to jump out of my chest because...I feel strange when I`m with you, I feel like that I want to touch you...That was what I meant!" He mumbled and then looked away, hoped that the other don`t laugh, it was all the truth though.

[Kotorichan]

Ein blushed deeply at the boy's words. "Ryou... I love you so much..." He lightly ran his fingers through the prince's hair and leaned in to place a gentle kiss to his lips. He was fully expecting him to pull away, but he couldn't hold himself back from this. He loved the boy too much and just wanted to be with him, to touch him and show him just how much he had missed him. But for now the king would be happy to just be allowed a simple kiss.

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other and then wanted to tell him something that suddenly the door knocked and immediately after, his father opened the door, not letting him to pull himself back, he blushed and then looked down at the blanket and started to play with his fingers. His father glared at the king and then sighed. "Go to your room, Ayato!" Ryou nodded and then fast left the room. "I told you not to leave him but I never say that you could touch him, not this fast at least"

[Kotorichan]

Ein glared up at the man. "What are you talking about? All I did was kiss him. If you're worried about me forcing myself on him then I assure you that I would rather die than do such a thing. If he had tried to pull away or seemed scared then I wouldn't have forced him to do anything." He shook his head angrily. "didn't you want me to show him how much I love him? To keep chasing after him? That's what I'm doing, I want him to know that he means everything to me."

[Ryouta]

The man got even more angry and then looked away, knew that he couldn`t say anything since the other was the king. "I let you stay here and be with my son but let me tell you something first..." He shouted and paused a bit to hold in his voice but still angry. "I don`t care if you are the king or not, if you make him cry and sad or touch him without his permission, I`ll kill you!" He said as he left the room. He walked inside Ryou`s and closed the door, not wanting an explanation from him. "I just wanted to tell you the Souma-kun is coming to see you tomorrow, don`t space out so much." He said and left.

[Kotorichan]

Ein flopped down on his bed and stared at the ceiling for a moment before starting to quietly cry. He missed Ryou so much and just when he finally got to do something so simple as kiss the boy that he loved...

 

His bodyguard heard his soft sobs and hurried into the room. "Your highness..." The young man sat down on the bed next to Ein and gently touched his cheek. "please don't cry... I'm sure Ryou-sama will remember you soon..."

 

Ein looked up at the man with tear filled eyes. "what if he h-hates me when he remembers? I didn't f-find him..." the idea just brought on another round of sobs. "god, Devon, what am I supposed to do?"

 

Devon pulled his king into a gentle embrace, comforting him like a parent would comfort a child. "shh... it's going to be okay your highness... he'll still love you..."

[Ryouta]

Ryoulooked at the door while closing with a shock expression on his face, no. Anything but that! It wasn`t the time that Souma should came. He buried his face and tried to think but nothing came to his mind, he just hoped that those two would not start a fight because of him, he didn`t want them to hurt, both of them but there was still somethings that they should talk about, why did Souma hide everything from him? He was curious to know but nothing came to his mind! After a while, he started to fall asleep until morning.

[Kotorichan]

Ein eventually calmed down thanks to his bodyguard's comforting words. He ended up falling asleep in the man's arms. Devon smiled sadly at the sight of his master fast asleep. He slowly pulled away and silently left the room to switch with the guard who would watch the king's room at night. Ein stayed asleep until the early morning when he awoke with a cry of terror from a nightmare.

[Ryouta]

Ryou fast got out of bed and stretched his body. He had to be ready since his friend was coming to see him. He had to check the king too. Slowly getting dressed to his usual clothes, he left the room to the kitchen and saw his father already awake preparing the tables for the costumers. "Oh! Ayato, good timing! Will you please make the breakfast and also call the guests." Ryou nodded and then walked to the other`s room and knocked. "Ein same! I`m coming in" He bowed and then gave him a smile.

[Kotorichan]

Ein was already awake and just sitting in his bed reading. He looked up and smiled at Ryou. "Oh, good morning." he stood up and bowed deeply. "I"m sorry for how forward I was last night... I do hope that it didn't come across as rude... I really will try harder to be more respectful today, I was quite tired after traveling so I wasn't really thinking properly... I hope you can forgive me for anything I might have done to upset you..." he sighed softly, keeping his head lowered in a respectful bow.

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked at the other and then shook his hands in the air. "N..not at all! My father is just worries a lot! I am not mad at you! Sorry for leaving last night like that, hope my father didn`t tell you much!" He mumbled and then looked at the other blushing dark. He really wanted to...do something about his heart beats, they were raising up even more, looking around, he walked to the door and made sure his father wasn`t around then he closed and walked closer to Ein and hugged him gently, burying the other`s face to his own chest. "I..it`s going to be alright!"

[Kotorichan]

Ein felt his cheeks heat up at the gesture. He gently returned the hug, leaning into the younger male's chest. "he was just angry at me for touching you... and now that I think about it, I really shouldn't have done that... I have no right to pressure you into letting me touch you..." the king closed his eyes sadly. "you've forgotten all about me... So I can't do the same things that I would do when we were lovers... I'm sorry Ryou, please forgive me..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou blushed darker and smiled, feeling like that he already knew the other but couldn`t remember him. He looked at the window outside and saw the sun is shining, smiling deeper, he closed his eyes and then started to stroke the other`s hair to comfort him. "no...i`m sorry! I`m sorry for forgetting everything and let you suffer so much! You have the right to touch me or force me to go with you but you didn`t do that. I feel like that your words are no lie! I want to be with you until i remember, even if i don`t, i try to fall for you again...."

[Kotorichan]

Ein pulled back a bit to look at the boy. "really? even though it would be so much simpler to find someone else? I mean, if you stay with me then you'll be dragged into politics and there will be people who will never accept you because of where you were born... your life will be in danger all the time" he frowned and touched Ryou's cheek. "no matter how much I love you, I can never fully protect you... Even though I would happily die for you Ryou..." he pulled his hand away sadly. "I don't want you to regret your choice..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou wanted to say something But didn`t know how could he reply. He tried to think of something to say. "You keep saying tht but still...you are here and want me to come back, am I right? You are not paying attention to your own desires but you want me to feel happy! But I won`t be happy unless I understand everything! He want to know everything even if it`s dangerous or hard, even if my past self was a betrayer to his country, I`ll accept him!" He said and then smiled. "Let`s go downstairs for now! I`m waiting for you!" He said went back and continued with his works.

[Kotorichan]

Ein's chest tightened at the boy's words, he felt like he was falling deeper and deeper in love with Ryou. "okay..." He sighed softly and made sure he looked presentable before following the boy downstairs. His bodyguard followed at a respectful distance. Ein looked around at the house as he walked through it, he was glad that Ryou had been taken care of during the time they were apart. He would have felt even worse if the prince had been forced to live on the streets, confused and frightened... Just the thought made his chest hurt.

[Ryouta]

Ryou was bust with his works but tried to pay more attention to the king. He was done making the breakfast so he took them to the guest renting rooms and gave the king his share. "Here you are! I hope that you like it! Please enjoy!" He smiled as he felt that the costumers are coming, he got busy with them and then it got the time to took out the trash.He walked outside but he felt somebody riding to him with a horse. "Ayato!" He was called, he looked up and then hos eyes widened, got happy! He smiled and ran to the other. "Souma!" Souma got down and then patted the other`s hair. "Good to see you are okay!"

[Kotorichan]

Ein was perfectly content to just watch Ryou working. It was somewhat calming to see the boy safer and happy. But all those feelings melted away when he heard Souma's name. He wanted to jump up and attack the bodyguard. How could he have sat back and watched as Ryou got depressed from not knowing his past? How selfish could someone be! The king's bodyguard gently touched his shoulder. "Please stay calm your highness... You don't want to cause problems for Ryou-sama..."
