Lover & Fighter ((Ryouta Basket & Pigeon))

[Ryouta]

Ryou`s eyes widened as he heard the other`s words. He quit sobbing but his tears were still falling down. "You mean...like...I will be your wife...your only love...you don`t want to marry another person?" He blushed, that made him a bit happy but it was impossible because of to things. "But...what about your successor? You have to have one otherwise the kingdom will...it will..." He looked away there was no way that he could be his lover. The news would run all over the countries and soon his family would notice. He just couldn`t betray them like that. He had to say something. "I...can`t let you do this because of me..." But he couldn`t hurt him either!

[Kotorichan]

Ein gently wiped Haru's tears away. "well... that would depend on whether you wanted to marry me or not" he blushed softly. "I'm not asking you to decide now but..." he trailed off and sighed. "I know that I'll have to have a successor... I figured that I would have to find a woman who would bear my child and just marry the person that I actually love... The same thing would be done if I had a wife who for some reason couldn't have children..." he looked away sadly. "like I said, you don't need to make any sort of decision now..."

[Ryouta]

When Ryou heard that he pushed him away and moved back on the bed. He grabbed the pillow and covered his body with it, holding it tightly, putting his head to it, his eyes shut."What are you saying? That`s too guilty, Prince Ein! You can`t let an innocent girl do that for you. She would probably be hurt..." He couldn`t believe that Ein said those words. He looked up with a tearful face. "Sorry...but I can`t except your request...I can`t marry you..." He said as he stood up and took his clothes, putting them on. It was for his sake. If he would leave then, Ein was able to forget him and he could suffer less though for Ryou it was a big pain. "Please forgive me for being rude, prince Ein!" He bowed as he turned around, wanted to leave.

[Kotorichan]

"Haru, wait!" Ein quickly got to his feet. "please wait, I figure something out... Just..." he stopped himself and clenched his hands into fists. He felt like his heart was being torn out of his chest. "I'm sorry... Please forget I said anything, I'm being far too selfish..." he brushed tears from his eyes and turned away. "you may leave, I won't force you to listen to this nonsense anymore" he took a shaky breath in an attempt to calm himself. He didn't want the boy to see him cry, but it was hard to hold back the tears.

[Ryouta]

Ryou looked away. He wasn`t happy at all but he felt relaxed when the other found his mistake. That was the prince he knew. He tried to not cry any longer after the other put away his tears but just couldn`t. He stood there for a while and then he sat on his knee and place his forehead on the ground in front of the other. He bowed to him but in a respectable way. He wanted to make him understand that they places are far different since he wasn`ta prince anymore. "I`m so sorry my prince, I desire a big punishment!" He said as he sat up looking at the other`s feet.

[Kotorichan]

Ein felt like his heart was breaking when he heard Haru's words. He tried to fight back tears for another moment before giving up and letting out a soft sob. "I'm not going to punish you Haru... I already told you that I love you, what kind of man would I have to be to punish the one I love?" he shook his head and turned to the boy. "I didn't realize you thought so poorly of me... I suppose it makes sense that you wouldn't even want to consider being with me if that's the way you see me" he didn't sound the least bit angry, just sad. "please don't bow down to me like that... If you wish to continue working here then please do so... But I'll be asking the butler to find a different position that you can do" the prince didn't want to be reminded of his broken heart all the time, he couldn't bear the thought of constantly seeing the boy.

[Ryouta]

Ryou`s eyes widened as he heard those words. He stood up as he put both of his hands of his mouth as he started crying more but in silence. He was trembling. Was was Ein saying? Did he really mean it?? He looked down as he smiled, tried to put away his tears with his hands but it was useless. "Am I not needed anymore?" He fist his hands and bit his lips, he felt sorry for himself that he trusted the other. "Are you throwing me away "He looked at him again as he shouted at the other though he knew that it was rude."Then I`ll get lost forever! I don`t bother you any longer. " He ran out of the room, running fast as he backed back, made sure that the other would not follow. He ran to the garden as he walked to the behind of the palace, hide behind the tree!

[Kotorichan]

"Haru!" Ein felt so confused, he didn't know what Haru wanted. He seemed to be distancing himself and trying to stay close at the same time. It was so painful for the prince. He didn't want to hurt Haru but it seemed like no matter what he did the boy was always going to be upset with him. He bolted after Haru. He lost sight of him quickly but noticed the open door that Haru had left through. He hurried outside to look for the boy. "Haru? Haru please let me talk to you, I didn't mean it like that!" he called out. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his arm, it took him a moment to process the pain. He looked down to see an assassin with his blade embedded in Ein's arm. He gasped and jerked away, in his hurry to find Haru he had forgotten how much danger he is in.

[Ryouta]

Ryou clenched his eyes shut as he found out that the other came to the garden. He was still crying, covering his mouth with his small hands to not sob or make any sound. He didn`t know what to do, he just wanted to be alone for a while. He didn`t want the other to forget him but he should! He had to do it otherwise he would probably destroy Ein`s kingdom and betray his family. There was no choice for him. He wanted to see that where the other is so he secretly looked from the tree and his eyes widened, he was a man who had a blade on his hand. He attacked Ein and stabbed his arm. He had to help him but the assassin could have been from his kingdom so if he walked walker he would have noticed and his family would understand where he had go to live. There was no time for thinking about that. He ran to those two as he grabbed his arm , tried to stop him from attacking. "Stop...stop it!" The other looked back and stared at the other. Ryou know those eyes He didn`t know what to do but he didn`t let go. He slowly moved his head, not letting Ein notice. The assassin was confused but the sign told him he had to obey, he grabbed the other`s shoulder as he put the blade on his neck. "Don`t come closer or I`ll kill him..." He slowly walked back and started running inside the endless garden. "Don`t follow me!"

[Kotorichan]

Ein froze when he saw Haru come out of the trees. "Haru! Be careful!" he gasped when the assassin put his blade to the boy's neck. As soon the two disappeared into the garden he ran into the castle, shouting out orders to find the assassin and the boy who was taken at all costs. Guards immediately spread out through the castle grounds and the area around the palace to search for the two. Ein was forced to stay back to have his wound treated. He was horribly worried about Haru. "It's all my fault..." he thought to himself as he waited for some news.

[Ryouta]

When Ein was out of sight, the male let go as he pulled his the prince under the tree. "My prince. What are you doing here?" He bit his lips and stood up. "Don`t tell me that those bastards forced you to work here! I`ll kill him!" Ryou`s eyes widened as he held the other`s arm. "No..." He looked away. Souma, who was his special guard, sat next to him. "Then what? Anyway my prince! We should go back to castle! The guards will appear soon!" Ryou looked at him, why wasn`t he happy when he heard that? He just couldn`t leave the heart that was already a prison there. "I can`t..." He had no choice but to lie. "I...I didn`t leave the palace because I wanted to start a new life..I just wanted my father to be proud of me so I came here and now I am the Prince`s special slave, I want to end him when the time comes so please...just leave..I don`t want you to die!" The other was shocked. "But..." Ryou didn`t let him speak. He pushed him strongly. "Please leave...I`ll be fine..this is an order!" The other had no choice, he stood up and climbed the wall. "Please take care of yourself!" He said as he ran away. Ryou sighed and saw he forgot his knife, he picked it up and stabbed his own leg so that others would believe. He closed his eyes and leaned to the tree.

[Kotorichan]

The guards soon found Haru and rushed him inside. They brought him to a doctor and immediately started to treat his wounds. Ein came as soon as he heard the news. "Haru! Are you alright? Oh my god, your leg..." he bit his lip, it felt like it was his fault that the boy was hurt. "I'm so sorry Haru..." The doctors and everyone soon left and Ein sat down on the side of the bed. "Haru, please listen to me, I don't want to throw you away... It's just... It's so painful for me to see you and know you'll never feel the same way for me, I know it's selfish but it hurts so much..." he looked away sadly. "besides... it's dangerous to be so close to me..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou was in suffer. The guards soon found him and brought him to his room. Ryou was sweating again, of the pain, he sure had lost to much blood in the last few days. He tried to relax and closed his eyes, squeezing the sheets with his hands. Suddenly his prince came to the room. As Ryou saw him he moved a bit and wanted to ask him if his arm was fine or not but the other tarted first. Ryou`s eyes widened as he heard those words. He waited until the other`s left the room. He tried hard to hold back his tears. He smiled and nodded as he looked down. "You`re right, my prince! I will work as someone else`s slave then, like you wished." He had no one now. He had to live the rest of his life in the castle. Even Ein wanted to leave his side. Ryou bowed at him gently. He knew what was wrong...he was...in love.

[Kotorichan]

Ein frowned deeply at the other's words. "Haru, that's not what I meant... You'll still be working for me, and you'll still see me around. But you won't be working quite as closely with me... I'll only see you a couple times a day" he sighed and ran a hand through the boy's hair. "I love you Haru, and I'm scared that if I have a bad day and you're right there... I might lose control and do something to hurt you... I'd never be able to forgive myself if I did that" he pulled his hand away and looked at the ground. "I don't want to hurt you..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou couldn`t just disobey him. He looked away out of the window. He could see the beautiful and enormous garden and also, he could see the big wall around the palace and the nature and the things behind that wall. He could probably never go back to his country again and he could never go behind the tall wall. He was stuck there forever and also his heart was feeling strange. Like it couldn`t breath normally unless Ein was with him. What was wrong? He looked down at his hands and he fist them and closed his eyes, smiled gently at the other. "I understand, Ein sama! So please! Don`t be worry again!" He was just acting! He wasn`t happy at all.

[Kotorichan]

Ein gently touched the boy's cheek, looking deep into his eyes with a sad and loving expression. "if you ever reconsider... If you ever think that you might in fact have feelings for me... Please tell me... I'll always love you Haru, and if you shared the feelings I have for you then I know I could find some way to make things work..." he smiled sadly and pulled his hand away. "I know that if you ever really love me then you'll be able to trust me... I'll always be waiting for you"

[Ryouta]

What was with those words? Did he wanted Ryou to suffer more? Did he want him to lose his mind? That kind and laughing boy was gone. Ein made him a prisoner who was injured by the other`s knife that was stabbed on his heart, filled with the strong feeling that called love. His lips started shaking, he wanted to say something. Yeah...he wanted him to stay with him forever, tell him how much he loved him. "My prince...I...I..."He looked at the other`s eyes, trying hard to say it. "I....I`ve.." He was filled with the emotions. He grabbed the other`s arm, shivering a bit.

[Kotorichan]

"I'm sorry Haru..." Ein watched the boy with an expression of true regret. "I've hurt you so much... I only wished to make you happy, but it seems that I've only brought you pain." he cupped Haru's face in his hands. "is there any way that you can forgive me? that I can make you happy? Forget about talking to me as your prince or your superior in anyway... Just tell me what would make you happy and I will not hesitate to find a way to give it to you" His eyes filled with tears and his chest tightened. "If you wished for my death, I would gladly give it to you Haru..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou`s eyes widened as he heard those words, his tears started to fall one by one. He tried not to sob. He held the other arm of his with the other hands as he squeezed them tightly. "Wh...what are saying Ein sama? I don`t have a permission to think like that, yo are my prince and I can not forget that at all...you are...you are a respectful master. I can`t do that....so please..." He paused a bit as he looked away and then down at his lap. "Don`t say those thinks...I am not worth of any of those...." He let his arms go as he put away his tears and looked up with a smile. "Don`t say that you would die for me...you don`t even know who I am...what if I was an enemy...what..." What would he do?

[Kotorichan]

"I have done nothing to earn my title, I am no more of a prince than you... I say I would die for you because I truly love you." Ein meant what he said, he was so deeply in love with the boy. "I don't think you could be a true enemy... You have had plenty of chances to kill me, or sabotage the country... But you haven't done either of those things" he sighed softly and looked away. "I found you in the forest, you could easily be an enemy spy or a soldier... But you've saved my life, and I'm afraid I've fallen so deeply in love that nothing could change my mind"

[Ryouta]

Ein was a real stupid. He didn`t know a think. He was wrong. He was an enemy and the most dangerous one, Could he tell him? Maybe in that case his heart would calm down from keeping such a big secret inside but when he looked at the other`s eyes again. He started shaking. He knew that if he noticed, he would be killed immediately. He looked away. He should at least tried to avoid his and Ein`s feelings. He had to stop being close to him. "You still...don`t know anything about me...." He wanted him to leave because if he stayed he didn`t know what was he going to do. He looked away and tried to calm himself down. He hated the moment. "Not a thing..." He was silence afterward.

[Kotorichan]

Ein took the boy's hands and gently squeezed. "then tell me about you... I promise that nothing you tell me could change the way I feel about you... I love you so much Haru" he smiled gently he meant every word he said. No matter what Haru revealed he still wouldn't feel any differently. "I want to know more about you, I want to be with you forever." he leaned a little bit towards the boy but stopped himself before he kissed him. He pulled back and bit his lip. "I'm sorry... This must be a bother for you to listen to..."

[Ryouta]

Ryou didn`t know what to do....He sighed and looked at the other`s eyes. He knew that the other would not be the same when he understood everything. He couldn`t lie, not a chance! His tears gathered around his eyes and fell one by one afterward. He started sobbing. He tried to hold back but he couldn`t. He shock his head. "Please....I can`t tell you...I know that you will hate me so please, forgive me....I can`t..." Ryou didn`t want to be hated by Ein. He loved him now and it was about time for the other to know to. "I...love you too, so don`t ask about my past...you should not know!" He looked away as he blushed dark and clenched his eyes close.

[Kotorichan]

Ein felt his chest tighten at the sight of Haru's tears, he didn't want to see the boy crying like this... He pulled Haru into a warm hug and ran a hand through the other's hair. "shh... Its okay... I love you Haru, I could never hate you" he smiled softly. "I promise I won't ask anymore, if you ever want to tell me then please come to me, but I won't force you" hr cupped the boy's cheeks in his hands as he pulled away to look at him. "do you really love me Haru? Are you sure?" he looked deep into Haru's eyes, his face full of hope.

[Ryouta]

Ryou was happy that the other was satisfied. He clenched his eyes shut as he stock himself into his warm hug, holding him back with his small arms. He was a bit relaxed when he smelled the other. He blushed darker as he quit sobbing but still a few tears were falling/. He was shivering and scared. He moved his head as he whispered, putting his forehead on the other`s shoulder. "Yes...but I can`t be your lover..at least...not for now...I need time to thing...I love you but I don`t think that I can marry you or sleep with you...you should love somebody else, My prince! Not me!" He didn`t know why did he say that but it was somehow right.
