I`ll take care of you ((Ryouta Basket and Keru-chan))

[Keru-chan]

The half blood was sleeping so peacefully as he worked. Well to be honest he had expected the man to snore or at least talk in his sleep since he was so loud when being awake. But no, he was sleeping quietly like a little child. It was almost a little cute. Wait cute? What the heck. That man was nowhere near cute.

 

Hokata drew a deep sigh as he finished today's paperwork that he then pushed aside. When he then was about to stand up he noticed that the man had woken up. He threw a glance at the clock on his desk. "Hmm...Good morning sleepyhead. I suggest that you go to the morning assemble in the main tent, there they will give you instructions on where the training camp" he said as he then brushed off some dirt from his uniform and put on the officer hat.

[Ryouta]

Souma sat up and looked at the other when he talked. He looked like he was going somewhere! "Are you leaving the camp?" He stood up. He didn`t know why but he was kinda curious about it. Where did he want to go? To a mission? For a job? Was he going to see someone? He walked closer to the other as he grabbed the other`s arms. Like he had to know what was he going to do or where was he going? Like he wanted him to belong to Souma. He wanted to know if the other was going out with someone or not! He blushed brightly as he continued with a shaking voice. "Tell me where are you going. I`ll come with you!" He didn`t want to give Hokata to anyone. Not a chance!

[Keru-chan]

Suddenly the other one was so fast getting on his feet. Asking him if he was going to leave the camp and such stuff that actually, had nothing to do with him. Such a curious brat he thought as his arms were hastily grabbed by the halfblood. "Come with me?" He repeated and then laughed before shaking the man off. "You need to stop daydreaming halfblood because you aren't going to follow me anywhere. Besides where I'm going doesn't concern you, mind your own business if you want to survive" he harshly remarked before giving the man a final glance and walked out of the tent.

 

The young man walked fast but in a confident way. Heads were turned as he walked past the living area for the soldiers. They looked at him and whispered to each other behind his back. Not that it was unusual for them to do so. Hokata had gotten used to the either despise or admiration the soldiers felt towards him.

[Ryouta]

Souma hurt a bit as he heard that, he saw the other leave. He fist his hands. 'The hell I would let you go alone!' He said following him, not letting him understand. He was like a stalker but he couldn`t help it since he was both worried and curious. He hoped that the other was not heading to see somebody because he knew that it would make him pretty jealous and he wanted to crush the person. He was a bit embarrassed about his feelings. He knew what was happening to him. It was odd! He wanted to be his business and concern, he wanted Hotaka to listen to him and be his. He wanted all of him. He wanted the other to know about his feelings too though it was a bit strange. He couldn` help it. He had already fallen for him. It was from the first sight.

 

He saw the others are talking about Hotaka, it made him very angry. He waned to kill them all but he would lost the track of the other so he tried to let go ad calm down. He bit his lips as he fist his hands. He wanted to walked next to Hotaka but he couldn`t. He felt a bi disappointed about it. He looked around as he noticed somebody is aiming his gun at the younger male. He ran to him to stop him. "Don`t kill him!" He shouted as he tried to grab the gun from him.

[Keru-chan]

Suddenly a commotion broke out. Someone had apparently pointed a gun at him and now...Souma attacked that man?! His crimson red eyes narrowed and in a matter of seconds he moved to the stand beside them both. "HOKATA! My friend died because you didn't give him your blood! He could have survived!" The man roared at him and pushed Souma off him. The pureblood sighed and then with ease grabbed the hand that was holding the gun. He threw the weapon on the ground, gripped the man's wrist and then twisted it before throwing the other one on the ground and pressed his shoe on his head. The man whimpered in pain but glared with eyes full of pain. "Your friend died because you weren't able to protect him. He would've died either case, because you're are too weak for my blood. It kills you and that fella was not an exception. So get yourself together".

 

He released the man and then walked off. "Souma! Come here".

[Ryouta]

Souma was useless against his power. He didn`t know that Hotaka was that strong. He defeated the human sop easily. Souma was incredibly impressed but kinda disappointed that he couldn`t protect the other himself. He looked down, a bit embarrassed. He stood up slowly as he walked to the other while glaring at the man who attack him. "Is it alright to let him be like that? He might try to hurt you again!" He fist his hands and tried to control himself. "I don`t want you to get hurt..." He mumbled as he bit his lips, he wanted to go with him. He had fallen for him and he wanted him to do the same. He wanted him to accept him though he was a male. He was so confused and messed up that he didn`t understand that his arm was bleeding until then. He looked at it when he felt the pain. He smiled, tried to hide his anger. He rubbed his neck as he looked down. "Sorry...I wanted to help you but I didn`t manage to...I`m no good so I`m going back..." He didn`t want to bother the other, his smile disappeared as he held his arm, turned back to leave.

[Keru-chan]

"It's alright, if he tries something again I'll just kill him" he casually answered as they were closing in on his destination. It was then he suddenly in a deep breath noticed the smell of the male's blood. He frowned and immediately turned around to then grab his arm.

 

His eyes shone in the dark as he fully concentrated observed the wound on the man's arm before wetting his lips with the tip of his tongue. Then he looked back at the halfblood and released his arm. "I was going to tell you to come with me but if that's all it takes for you to step back then never mind" he picked up a handkerchief out of his pocket and then laid it over the wound. "Here use this to stop the bleeding until you reach my tent, I'll send someone there later".

[Ryouta]

Shouta`s eyes widened as the other grabbed his hand. He looked at him with a confused face. He was really happy when he heard Hotaka wanted him to go with him. He grabbed his hand before he intend to leave. He looked down, tried to concentrate. He deep breath as he looked at the other. "Please! Let me come with you..." He bowed, he really wanted to know where he wanted to go. He smiled as he stood straight, he grabbed the handkerchief as he blushed brightly. "Thank you!" He clenched his eyes shut for a while as he pulled the other with him. "Let`s go then! Wanna go somewhere before?" He said as he pulled him to the park close to the area. He didn`t intent on letting the other`s hand go. He started walking inside the park, looking around with an excitement expression on his face. He was really handsome and attractive. He blushed a bit after he stopped walking. He...somehow wanted to talk to him about his feelings.

[Keru-chan]

He was suddenly stopped. His heart skipped a beat as he slowly turned around to look at the other one. Then he frowned at the scene before him. The man, bowing? Begging to get permission to follow him? Before he even got to answer though he was dragged off to the nearby park. He had a meeting to go on! He had no time to be fooling around with the other one like this. Even so he was ashamed by the fact that he almost wanted to let himself be swept away by the happiness that Souma radiated.

 

"Oi Souma...Souma!" He twisted himself free from the male's grip and then stopped. "If I allow you to follow me it ain't supposed to be me following you. Besides I don't have time for this, just tell me what you want already" he sighed.

[Ryouta]

Souma looked at the other as he blushed when he was asked what he want. He looked away too fast, he tried to calm himself down. Maybe he had to wait a bit, it was just a day that they met each other and he would probably reject him since he was a male. Souma fist his free hand and squeezed Hotaka`s hands with the other. He couldn`t lie to himself. He was in love with the younger vampire. He deep breath, thought of how to confess. He couldn`t really think of anything right. He shook his head and moved closer to his crush as he closed his eyes, blushed hard. He opened his eyes stared at the diamond eyes of Hotaka, opened his mouth to speak.

 

"Hotaka...I...." He couldn`t say it. He was afraid of being rejected. He just had to somehow show him. He looked around, no body was near. He glanced at his love as he held his cheeks with his warm hands. The 19 year man was taller than the other. He moved closer and he gave his lips a light kiss. He looked away with a blush on his face. "Hotaka...I feel that I like you..."

[Keru-chan]

Once again his hand was grabbed. His crimson eyes narrowed at the sight of the slight blush covering the man's cheeks. He was acting just like a high school girl. This uncertain feeling suddenly appeared in his chest on what to do in this situation and as Souma moved closer he remained on the same spot. Almost like he had been frozen.

 

He flinched but only minimally at the soft touch of his hands being placed on his cheeks. What was he going to do? The man tried to speak. Suddenly his throat became very dry. He felt thirsty. And it was then his lips were gently embraced. Just for a few seconds before Souma broke it and withdrew. Like him? He stood there like paralyzed by both his words and actions before he suddenly parted his lips. "Just because you like me you think it's okay to do something like that?" His own cheeks were turning into a rose red colour. "That's no good, you have to make me fall for you. Otherwise I'll have to kill you like I did with the rest of the men that have said the same words like you. Now if you excuse me I have a meeting to go on" he abruptly turned and begun to walk. First slowly and then faster.

[Ryouta]

Souma felt a bit hurt. He looked down as he fist his hand tightly. He was rejected, wasn`t he? Leaving him like that...and also what did he meant by other men?? Did that mean...he was going out with other male? It made Souma crazy. He didn`t intend on giving up. He followed the other as he tried to reach him. "Hotaka! Wait!" He said as he held the other from behind, tightly, tried to make him feel his warmth. His heart was beating fast, he sniffed the other`s neck as he blushed darker. "You smell really good!" He said as he clenched his eyes closed. He couldn`t let go, not now! He wanted him to love him back. He had to do something about the damn situation. He opened his eyes and said in a calm and serious voice. "I don`t care if I die, I didn`t really care if my mother wasn`t alive...I just have to take care of her, that`s why I can`t die otherwise I have no reason to live for but if maybe you can make want to live again. I don`t intend on giving up, I`m not scared at all! And also I said it wrong!" He paused a bit as he blew inside the other`s ear, whispering. "I don`t like you...I...love you Hotaka!"

[Keru-chan]

A pair of arms that embraced him stopped him in his tracks. He could feel Souma's heart beating so crazily in his chest. This was ridiculous. He looked down at the ground, listened to his words. Breathed in and out. Love him? Was it truly possible for someone to fall in love with another person so fast? Maybe. "I only smell good because you want my blood Souma. That's natural for halfbloods like you" he said, not affected by what the man had told him. Though this time he didn't move. "Go to my tent, now. I'll come later".

[Ryouta]

Souma held him even tighter than before! He didn`t want to go! No way, there was no way!"Where are you going? I`ll come with you too!" He whispered, not intending on letting the other go. He blushed dark. "If you don`t tell me! I won`t let you go!!" He said as he embraced him deeper, sent him for of his warmth. He smelled the other again! "I...Can I suck your blood a bit? I feel thirsty!!" He asked as he slowly stumped the other`s head and closed his eyes. He didn`t really know how to do it but he wanted to try not to hurt the other`s neck. He turned Hotaka around and softly bit him with his fangs, stroking his hair gently. He loved him.

[Keru-chan]

"I said it once and I'm saying it again. I'm going to a meeting" he sighed out as his eyebrow twitched in slight irritation. Did this halfblood think he could own him? Then suddenly the man asked for something so dangerous and outrageous that he froze on the spot. "No! Are you stupid?" He burst out as he was turned around and in the next second a pair of fangs sank down through his skin. He whimpered at the slight pain and placed his hands on Souma's chest. "You'll die! A pureblood's blood is too strong for you!" Hotaka pushed the other one off then quickly covered his wound with his hand. He couldn't allow the other halfbloods to notice the smell of his blood. If they did then it was very possible that they would go berserk and hunt him down. And if they did they were all going to die. His crimson red eyes widened in despair. "God dammit Souma you stupid halfblood! I don't want you to die" he bit down on his lower lip and then gripped the man's wrist. Standing ready if something happened with the other one.

[Ryouta]

Souma clenched his eyes shut, shaking like that he was freezing. "Really, is that true? Aren`t you lying?" He squeezed the other tighter than before as he tried to calm himself down when his fangs entered him, though he said to stop, Souma didn`t want to. He stared sucking a bit of his blood. It was a bit fatty and also weighty for Souma but it was sure delicious. He was enjoying the meal of his that his love pushed him off and explained it to him. He sighed and felt down. He wanted to drink his blood but he couldn`t help it since the other didn`t want to hurt him. Wait-what? He didn`t want Souma to die? Souma just heard that from his words and nothing from them being in danger! He felt happy when he felt Hotaka grabbed his wrist . He smiled and moved closer to him, wanted to embrace him but suddenly he felt that somebody was close. He defend Hotaka though he knew that he could protect him himself and he was the one should been protected. He heard sounds and saw a few halfbloods from the camp around. He couldn`t get it why they wanted to attack. He just had to...protect Hotaka, that`s right! He pulled out the knight he brought with him and stabbed one of them in the arm when he tried to attack. He started panting as he felt dizzy. He sat on his knees. It must have been because of the blood that he drank. He lost his version and he collapsed on the ground. His eyes were close. He just wanted to help the vampire but he didn`t able to.

[Keru-chan]

Soon enough a small group of halfbloods gathered, driven by their desire for his blood. Hokata swore under his breath and gritted his teeth as he held onto Souma, hard. And Souma seemed fully determined to protect him. That was at least until he suddenly dropped down on his knees. "Souma!" The pureblood burst out as he crouched down beside the other one. "Souma!" He repeated as the halfbloods closed in. God dammit, could things get any worse? Quickly he stood up and closed his eyes for a few seconds before revealing them again. And now they were certainly glowing. Baring his fangs he took a step forward which made the halfbloods to immediately stop and distance themselves.

 

"Stay away or I'll snap your necks" he threatened and the halfbloods backed off, he sunk down on the ground beside Souma again. "Don't you worry Souma..." he whispered as he took up the man's head in his lap and then grabbed his wrist. Carefully he let his fangs sunk down into his wrist to begin to suck out the blood. Let him be okay he begged in his mind.

[Ryouta]

Souma tried hard to wake up. 'NO...this is not the time for this..I should resist! I should protect Hotaka! I should fight with him side to side! I should stand up and kill those damn assholes! So why can`t I?' He was saying those in his mind but no matter how he tried, he couldn`t get back to Hotaka. It was like that his mind was still the same and he could think but his body wouldn`t not react to the orders of his brain. It was kinda painful! He just wanted to know if his love was fine or not. He didn`t care what was going to happen to him. He was like an idiot, praying for him to be fine, not knowing that he already made the halfbloods run over hills. Oh! If he was able to see how much the other was worried about him, he would probably kissed him and held him into his arms again. It was too bad that his senses didn`t work either.

 

Souma`s fingers started moving a bit after Hotaka`s blood was sucked out. His lips shook a bit as the other parts of the body sdtarted moving slowly. He opened his eyes as he saw Hotaka in front of him. He seemed fine but wanted to make sure. "Hota....are you okay? Sorry, that I couldn`t protect you...I am useless!" He managed a smile as he coughed. He raised his hand up, reached the other`s cheek, stroking it gently.

[Keru-chan]

After a while the pureblood noticed how one if the fingers made a slight movement. Then his pale lips started to tremble. It seemed like he was waking up. Heavily panting he forced himself to release Souma's wrist. Even though every inch of his body screamed and asked for more. It had been such a long time since his last real meal. The veins on his neck was even more visible than before. His eyes stared at the other one like he was observing his prey and his lips were stained by blood. Carefully he let the tip of his tongue be drawn along his lips and fangs before he wiped the rest of the blood off with the back of his hand. "S..Souma..." he managed to stutter out as he gripped the man's arm and then pulled him closer. Softly he parted his lips to breath against his neck then somewhat hesitantly he caressed the skin with his tongue. "You...Taste so good..".

[Ryouta]

Souma started at the other`s red glowing eyes and then the visible veins on his neck afterward. He looked more scary than before but still Souma liked him. He kept panting and looking at the other. By the blood on his lips, he noticed that Hotaka sucked out his own blood out of him. He wanted to protect him and save him from those assholes but instead Hotaka was the one who saved him. Souma admired the other, so much! Hotaka looked a bit strange, it was like that he was suffering from something. Souma wanted to help, no matter what it was about. He wanted to ask but the other`s actions surprised and stopped him. He starred at the other and started to feel a bit uncomfortable after he was licked on the neck. After the other spoke, he understood immediately what he needed. When he felt that he was better. He slowly pushed himself up and embraced the other tightly in his muscled arms. He smelled him and smiled. "I`m so glad that you like it!" He placed the other`s head on his neck. "Go ahead! It`s all yours Hotaka!" He whispered as he kissed his forehead, closed his eyes, waited for his fangs to enter.

[Keru-chan]

Suddenly he was lifted from the ground, tightly locked in a firm grip by a couple of arms. His face was literally pressed against the man's neck as he ever so willingly gave him permission to eat. Slowly he parted his trembling lips. His body tensed as they then closed in on the neck and under all this time his gaze was steadily focusing on the area he aimed for. Then suddenly he began to hesitant. The overwhelming smell that the other one radiated made him feel dizzy and he knew that he knew better than doing something like this. That was also why he pushed himself away and let his hands sweep over his clothes to erase the non existent dirt. "Stupid! Don't be so eager. What if I had sucked out all of your blood right here and right now? You should be more careful" Hotaka sighed, but his eyes were still glowing with the same desire after the blood that his body longed after. But for the moment being, his mind seemed to have the upper hand in the battle and as long as he would be able to resist he would not give in to the desire.

[Ryouta]

Souma looked at the other and slowly sat up. He felt sad that he hadn`t except his blood but he knew perfectly that he was lying, he was hungry, the was obvious from his eyes! He sighed and grabbed the other`s had, he stood up and kissed him again. "Let`s go back for now! Forget about your meeting!" He knew that the other probably was forcing himself to stand probably. He ran to the camp and rushed inside Hotaka`s room with him. He pushed the other on the bed after he checked if there was anybody around. He placed his hands at the sides of his head and looked at him seriously! "You should rest, you are not feeling well, I know that!" He said as he looked around for a thing that would drive him more crazy for his blood! He found a knife. He took it and deep breathed, he stabbed his arm, it hurt a bit but he had to do it for Hotaka, he moved the injured arm to his nose. "Come on Souma! You need it, right? You should drink some or you`ll probably faint!" He said as he looked at him with a gentle smile. "I don`t really care if I die for you but if I did, please take care of my mother!" He said and kissed his hand. To make him agree, he sucked in his own blood and then moved to his lips, he kissed him again, letting the red liquid flow down from his mouth to the others.
