"I'm heading off to school!"

Yuki said smiling and grabbing his bag. He hurried out the door, locking it before leaving his house and heading to school. Today was a special day... today He turned 17. He walked down the street looking down at his phone as two of his friend pounced on him, coming out of no where, messing up his hair, as they ruffled it up.

"Hey come on guys!"

"Sorry dude. It's your birthday right? Happy birthday man"

Yuki rolled his eyes smiling.

"Here Yuki.."

His friend gave him a gift.

"It's from both of us."

"Wow guys...thanks But you didn't have to do that.."

"We know. Now hurry up and open the damn thing. We worked our ass's off to get it for you."

Yuki smiled as he opened to gift and found a very expensive black and silver watch, with blue lights. It just came out two weeks ago and was around 900 dollars.

"Y-you guys! I can't except this! "

"Yeah you can. Remember last month? We broke your old watch that your old man got you? It's only fair Yuki... "

"Y-Yeah but... it's so expensive,"

"Dude don't sweat it... Its yours. Now we better move or we'll be late to home room. Mrs.Yuno gives out detentions for being just a minute late!"

The two boys started running. Yuki quickly put the birthday gift in his bag and ran to catch up with them. Reaching school just before the bell rang.

Yuki Sat up on the roof durning lunch time. A few of his friends from Class, and the soccer team arranged a little birthday party for him, everyone brought sweets and one person even brought a radio to play music. There were students dancing on the roof laughing and having fun... today seemed like a really good day. Yuki felt so lucky to have such carrying friends. He laughed with the others as he ate his sweet birthday cake...

Yuki turned around seeing Kanto. The sun was setting and Yuki was in his sweaty PE clothes. He had stayed after school for a fun game of soccer. And dispite being a little muddy and dripping with sweat...He smelled like cherry blossoms in bloom.

"Alright. I'd head back with you but I got work today. I'll see you tomorrow kay?"

"Oh.. also great game man. You should really go for team caption second semester. Just think about it..ok."

Yuki smiles nodding to his friend.

"Maybe."

"Alright later..and Happy Birthday! "

"Thanks Kanto- be safe!"

Kanto waved at him as he ran in the other direction leaving him. Yuki smiled as he headed home again...the sky became dark.

Its getting darker...

He thought. Things were rather quiet... Yuki had no clue that in seconds His life would change forever.

 

As Yuki walked he suddenly stopped hearing someone crying. He looked around and peeked threw a ally way finding a small child crying behind a garbage can.

"H-hello? Little girl? Are you lost? Please come out...I won't hurt you."

The girl continued to cry... Yuki put his bag down and stepped into the ally way-touching the young girl on the shoulder. The entire time the girls back was to him...

"Please don't cry... I'll help you find your mother"

The little girl suddenly turned around grabbing his hand. She had no eyes! Just pits of darkness and her tongue reached out to him wrapping around his leg and pulling him off his feet. He hit the ground.

Yuki's heart was racing what was this thing!!! His eyes watering.

Flying high threw the dark sky, Kazi could smell something sweet, it smelled wonderful. And it was coming from a far away distance, "What is that smell..?'' He asked himself before flying very fast off to wherever it was coming from.

 

''That smells soo good..'' A giant smirk appeared across his face, sniffing the air more, his senses sharpened. He knew exactly what that had to be.. "Could it be? Cherry blossoms! It's the Red Star!" He covered his mouth trying not to get too loud. He couldn't believe it.. he might of just found the key to full fulling his destiny, He could become apart of the strongest demon clan alive.. As Kazi got closer, the smell became even stronger. He was so excited, thinking about it made him not realize how fast he was traveling. He whined up slamming into another demon that was in front of him causing him and the other to fly out of the air and hit the hard ground.

 

Kazi was dizzy, rubbing his head, he groaned in pain before trying to sit up and see what he had hit. His face was bleeding and his body ached from the hit.. The yelling made him feel worse.

 

"Hey! Watch where your going!!" Azure shouted as his eyes turned red, he was angry and he was ready to fight the other. "You could have killed me!" He was in a very good mood that Kazi had ruined. He was feeling very aroused from a strong scent that wasn't that far from where they were.. He knew it had to be to be the Red Star.. And he was about to go and get what would hand him so much power.

 

"Oh God...'' He trembled, holding his head as it starting throbbing, ''I'm really sorry..'' He then tried to stand up on his feet, "I don't know what came over me.. to fly like that.''

 

"Wait... Kazi?!" Azure turned up his nose, frowning at him before realizing who it was, his vision became clearer. it was Kazi, one of the clan members he always was in competition with. And he knew what the other must have been searching for as well.. The smell was alluring and it had to attract Kazi too. Azure thought he was going to have the power all to himself, but.. he knew that was too good to be true.

 

"I'm guessing you could smell it too..'' Kazi asked the other as he dust himself off, trying to himself together so he can get to the red star. He was feeling aroused himself by the human but unlike Azure, he knew how to control himself better..

 

"Yeah..." Azure sighed heavily, frowning it's not like he could lie about it. That's how they both got here..He stood to his feet really wishing the other would disappear so he could have Yuki for himself. Azure was really being affected by the red star. he started sweating and panting, it was getting hard for him not to be noticeable.. He just really wanted to fly off away from Kazi and just ravish the human.. As Kazi continued talking, trying to start a conversation about the red star, Azure wasn't hearing him at all.. Instead he just took off into the air. Ignoring the other and trying to get to Yuki 1st.

 

"Ok well- HEY!! Where are you going!!'' Kazi shouted as he could realize what was happening to the other, he knew the demon's body was reacting to Yuki. He also knew that Azure was very selfish at times when it came to wanting things to himself. He just had to have it all.. Kazi wasn't going to let that happen.

 

Azure was laughing at the other as he flew off,hearing the other yell but when he looked back. Kazi wasn't down there anymore.. His eyes widened, he was just there a second ago.. "Where did he-" Before he knew it something strongly gripped him by his shirt, and he met eyes with an angry demon.

 

"Look.. Selfish.. I know exactly what your thinking.. You must think I'm stupid..'' He told the other, glaring at him with glowing red eyes, He could'nt believe Azure made such a stupid move. "Either we share him... or we are going to have serious problems.." he pushed the other away, "Got it?!" Azure nodded quickly and Kazi sighed. Yuki had Azure acting silly.. something about him made him weak. Kazi then spoke again.. "So..what I was saying before you rudely took off.. is he's a human, so we need to act different.. not as aggressive towards him or as mean as we usually are..''

 

"Fine...'' He muttered, not really wanting to work with Kazi," If we are sharing him.. he's just ours." Azure rolled his eyes at the other before folded his arms, "Got that? We can't tell anyone...''

 

"Okay so-'' Kazi was calm for just a second before tensing up, he could sense a demon coming from the area the human was in, and it wasn't a demon that wanted to use Yuki for the same exact reasons they did. "There's something out there trying to kill him! We need to help them or we won't be sharing anything!'' Azure could sense it too, Yuki's scent was very strong and he was driving him crazy. he flew off with Kazi seeing Yuki in a dark alleyway with a demon that had her tongue wrapped around his legs.

 

Azure's eyes turned red as he pulled out his sword, he was angry, he wasn't going to let a weak demon take his destiny from him. "Get away from Him!!" He shouted before swing the sword like bat, the demon's head flew far off into the black sky. It's lifeless body fell to it's knees and down into a pool of blood.

 

Kazi just stood there, his mouth fell open a bit before putting his sword away. Azure got to that demon before he did, killing her in a heart beat.. he really wanted to get to Yuki first.

 

"Are you okay?" Azure asked before putting his weapon away, he started treating the Red Star like he was actually concerned about him. He stroked the boy's hair and looked over his body for any bruises making sure he wasn't hurt. The demon then sighed in relief. He was alright..

Yuki waited...waited to be eaten by that...thing! But it never happened. Out of no where a man came down from the sky with a shinning sword.

"Get away from Him!!" [/Quote]

He shouted before swinging the sword like a bat, and Yuki watched in horror as the demon's head flew off it's shoulders, It's lifeless body fell to it's knees and down into a pool of blood. He screamed at the bloody sight, trembling in utter terror. He looked terrified dispite the fact that this stranger helped him, saved him! He tensed as His saver approached him.

"Are you okay?" [/Quote]

"N-no! No! S-stay back!"

His lips quivered as the man tried to stroke his hair, but it quickly slapped the man's hand away.

"D-don't touch me!!"

Tears ran down his face. He was in total shock.

"Y-Your like that... that thing! You want to eat me too!! "

W-Why?! Why is this happening to me! Everything was so good! So why now!! T-this is just a bad dream right?! Who are these guys!!

He curled up into a ball, Crying.

I... I don't want to die!!!

"Okay.. try to calm down. Yes we are demons... but we don't want to hurt you." Azure spoke softly, tried to get the other to relax as he was having a meltdown, "We just want to protect you from demons that do want to hurt you.. Not every demon is a like..''

 

The demon didn't blame Yuki for being afraid, he just witnessed a demon slaughtering another demon that tried to eat him on his birthday.. That wasn't something you seen everyday..

 

Azure then knelt down next to the trembling human as he sobbed, "Yuki listen.. I know your scared right now.. but it's going to be okay, we are your gaurdians.. I'm sorry that you had to witness that but we had to protect you.''

 

Kazi's eyes widened a bit as he looked at the selfish demon, Azure's behavior was scaring him. It was strange.. He had never seen him act kind so easily towards a human. The demon rarely listened to anything he said. He thought Azure was was losing it.. it wasn't in the demon's nature to act this nice and he was actually doing it. He was listening to Kazi and it was a shocker. but then again.. Kazi knew it was all just a joke.. The red head was rebellious at all times, but when it came to having something he want.. He would say and do anything just so things would flow his way.. He wanted to be nice as possible to Yuki just so he could get that to happen.

 

Kazi appeared next to the trembling human as he stood over him "You are known as the Red Star.. someone that has a gift to offer to demons. They are born every one hundred years.. You should have a birth mark somewhere on your body that identifies that.'' Kazi didn't tell him everything, he didn't want the other to realize what they may be using him for later.. "The gift comes from your body, the demon that tried eating you just now wanted to gain immortality.. and we don't wanna eat you.''

 

Golden hues looked down at the sobbing human, Azure spoke again, "You have a strong cherry blossom scent that is revealed on your 17th birthday, which is today.. the smell attracts demons, it can cause them to go insane.. many demons would love to get a hold of you.. which is why we are here to be your guardians. We don't want to see anything bad happen to you.. we just don't think you should get fucked over like that. We are way nicer..''

 

, "If we don't protect you.. there are demon's out there that will eat, kill, and do whatever they please..'' Zaki said as he spoke to the other. ''So it's best you just stick with us. You have a better chance of making it.. We just wanna help you that's all..''

What? Demons?! So demons are real?! Yuki glanced at the other. Was it true? Did they not want to hurt him? If they really wanted to eat him...they would of done it by now...right?

Yuki was a little surprised by how this demon acted. He thought demons were suppose to be mean and heartless but this guy's voice was so soft.

"We just want to protect you from demons that do want to hurt you.. Not every demon is a like..''[/Quote]

Not every demon is alike? The demon slowly knelt down next to him. Yuki still had stray tears slipping from his eyes as he watched the creature slowly and with caution. Not sure it he should trust him.

"Yuki listen.. I know your scared right now.. but it's going to be okay, we are your gaurdians.. I'm sorry that you had to witness that but we had to protect you.''[/Quote]

"G...guardians? I.. I don't understand. Why did that d-demon attack me..."

Suddenly the other demon appeared next to him, standing over him like some God. He had moved so fast. Yuki looked shocked by his speed.

Yuki's eyes widened slightly, struggling to take this all in. He was born with a strange birth mark but...he never thought anything of it...and gift to offer demons? What was He talking about?! Was he...special?

"I-Immortality? But...n-no. I'm just a normal human! "

He tensed meeting the man's golden eyes. He looked down at the ground as the other spoke to him again.

Seriously? Was that the truth? Growing up Yuki was always told that he smelled like cherry blossoms but...he never thought anything that either.

By now the boys tears had stopped. His body relaxing slowly in the presence of his two guardians.

He rubbed his eyes sniffling, He fell silent for a moment. Trying to take everything in.

He said with a slight tremble in his voice.

"And I... I want to go home."

His voice cracked as he got to his feet with shaky legs.

"Please- take me home."

Water building up in his eyes as he tried to act strong. He held himself. Woried that the others wouldn't like him touching them. He wanted to curl up in his bed and prey that this was a nightmare because he was having a difficult time accepting the truth.

Zaki then watched as the other looked away from him nervously, "You may be human.. but your different from everyone else since your the Red Star.. You also have other gifts too, I'm pretty sure you don't just have one.. That wouldn't make much sense if you did..'' He then gave a warm smile, "But we don't know what those other gifts are.. we just know your special to demons.'' He said lying to the other, "I guess you'll figure it out as you continue living your life.."

 

Azure grinned as he noticed Yuki was starting to calm down and he had stopped crying, "Yes we want to help you.. your very special and we don't want anything to hurt you..'' Yuki must of was beginning to believe the demons since he started to settle down a bit. What a foolish human.. shouldn't he have enough sense not to trust a demon? No matter how nice they may appear "What a lovely name, and Yes.. everything we just said to you is true..''

 

"You can trust us.. we have no reason to lie." Zaki smiled brightly at Yuki and his eyes turned blue. he held out his hand towards him, trying to get him to realize that he wouldnt hurt him, "Don't cry anymore.. okay? Can you do that for me? We'll take you home immediately..''

 

"We are really kind as you spend more time with us you'll realize that.'' Azure started to realize how tired the other seemed, he looked like he needed a hug. "Do you want me to carry you? You seem very- '' The demon's eyes then widened as he noticed Yuki's hand was bleeding. he started to sweat, breathing heavily he couldn't stop staring at Yuki. I bet he taste really sweet.. He started grinning at Yuki, becoming lost in his thoughts thinking about everything he would do to him.

 

"Hey! Azure.. stop staring at Yuki like that! What is wrong with you?" Zaki glared at Azure, he told the demon to make Yuki as comfortable as possible. And since the human seemed upset.. and just almost got eaten by a demon. He didn't want Azure to appear as being creepy like he was going to eat him himself or something. Zaki hoped he wasn't about to lose his mind like he almost did earlier when he tried to find Yuki.

 

Azure quickly grabbed Yuki's hand and slowly licked it with his warm tongue, loving the taste of his blood. He stared at Yuki while taking his sweet time as he sucked his fingers.

 

Zaki glared at Azure and smack him over the head, "Cut It Out.. We have to take him home..'' He pushed the demon aside nearly making him fall off his feet as stood infront of Yuki, "Why don't you let me carry you instead.." Zaki didn't trust Azure he might try and fly off with him somewhere, "And maybe you should take a nap too.. okay? You look very tired..'' He didn't want Yuki to remember right now what Azure just did to him, he might scream or not want the other to carry him after that. But that didn't matter.. cause if Yuki ran off. Zaki would easily catch him and make him fall asleep. Maybe even erase his mind a bit until he calmed down more.

So the others didn't know what he could do. They were just as new to this as he was. Yuki glances up at the demon as he gave him a warm smile.

"But we don't know what those other gifts are.. we just know your special to demons. I guess you'll figure it out as you continue living your life.."[/Quote]

"B..but how can you...be so sure."

He whispered. There was nothing special about him...Azure grinned

"Yes we want to help you.. your very special and we don't want anything to hurt you.[/Quote]

"You..keep saying that...I'm not special! I'm normal! "

The two ignored him him. As one complemented him on his name.

"You can trust us.. we have no reason to lie."[/Quote]

Zaki smiled brightly at him and his eyes turned blue. Yuki's eyes widened slightly at the sudden change of color. He really was a demon. He held out his hand towards Yuki.

"Don't cry anymore.. okay? Can you do that for me? We'll take you home immediately..''[/Quote]

Yuki hesitated. He slowly reached for the monsters hand but stopped..

"O..ok.."

He took his hand gently curling his fingers around it. His warmth entering the others palm not really wanting to let go.

"We are really kind as you spend more time with us you'll realize that.''[/Quote]

Azure stated.

"Do you want me to carry you? You seem very- ''[/Quote]

Yuki looked at him. His head turning to the side a little confused. What was wrong? The other was staring at him... Yuki quickly grew uncomfortable.

"W..why are you looking at me like that."

 

The man grinned at Yuki, he took a step away from him.

"Hey! Azure.. stop staring at Yuki like that! What is wrong with you?" [/Quote]

Azure? So that was his name... the other demon seemed upset with his comrade. Azure suddenly took his hand. Yuki tensed up.

"S-st"

He fell silent as the demon brought his hand to his soft lips..he watched blushing faintly as the man slowly licked his blood with his warm tongue.

Yuki flinch as the boys tongue ran over his cut,

Ah! I..It burns!

His blood was sweet. But not overly sweet and not bitter...it was perfect. Yuki's lips trembled as he met Azure's lustful red eyes. His heart skipped a beat...the scent of cherry blossoms intensified by the demon's teasing. He looked away as the man sucked his fingers.

"A...azure.."

He whispered. The boys friend quickly smacked him, freeing Yuki's hand. Yuki looked down at his hand surprised to see he was healed.

"I-it's gone?... my cuts gone? "

Did the other heal him? With his tongue!!!

"Cut It Out.. We have to take him home..''[/Quote]

The other pushed Azure aside nearly making him fall off his feet, standing infront of Yuki. The two of them were truly handsome in particularly every way.

Seeing Azure act like that had him worried. He didn't want the other carrying him...was He..should he trust these two?! They are demons after all. Yuki took a few steps back from Kazi.

"P-please don't follow me!"

He yelled as he turned around and ran. He ran as fast as he could.

W-why did Azure suddenly do that?! Was it to heal me? If so then why....Why did he have that look In his eyes! It gives me the chills! I couldn't move! They say they want to protect me but..how do I not know there telling the truth! Should I trust them?! This isn't happening! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING!

"Cause I just know that okay?" Kazi looked down at the other smiling, he seemed shy and it was kind of cute.He liked that about the other, he didn't seem like a brat like most kids.. he was easy to talk too. This would be a human he could tolerate.

 

The red headed demon then looked at Yuki as he didn't agree that he was special, "Well your free to believe whatever you want.. that's okay Hun.'' I guess Yuki was kind of right.. he only benefited demons. It's not like the younger boy would gain anything from this. But just 2 demons taken advantage of him and other demons trying to attack him.

 

Zaki sighed happily as the other finally grabbed his hand and curled his fingers with his. he kissed it gently, he wanted the boyto finally try and trust him, "It's going to be a pleasure protecting you.. I'm glad you finally opened up a bit to us.''

 

That only last for a couple of seconds until Azure pissed him off and Zaki had to try and keep the perverted demon away from Yuki. Zaki started to shake the hypnotized demon, he looked like he was under some sort of spell. His face was flustered, red eyes locked on Yuki and he was grinning. His eyes rolled to the back of his head as he getting high off the intense smell, "God you are the best thing I have ever taste... I wonder how many cuts and bruises you can get..'' Zaki sighed as he shot him death glare, seeing that yuki was becoming uncomfotable. he wanted to kill Azure for doing that to him.. The human was starting to talk to them and he ruined it..

 

Zaki was going to kill his partner later, he turned his attention back towards Yuki as he was talking about his finger healing from it being licked. His eyes widened a bit as he looked at his hand, "Oh Wow.. Did that really.. heal your finger?" He asked the other trying to appear surprise like didn't know that could happen,'' Interesting.. I don't think he could have did that to any other human.. ''

 

Zaki then frowned as he realized Yuki was trembling and he started to come to his senses that maybe he shouldn't trust demons after all. Zaki was disappointed as the other talked about being a lone and not needing any help. Who could blame him? They both looked like monsters.. and they were demons.

 

Zaki reached his arm out towards the other as he backed away from him, "W-wait Yuki! D-dont! He started to run off, Goddamn it Azure! "we don't want to hurt you!" He just let the boy go, they would meet back up in a different way eventually.. Just as everything was going good Azure ruined it. Zaki growled at Azure and balled up his fist..

 

"Wait Yuki!! Don't leave me! I'm Sorry!" Azure tried chasing after the other, he was still high off the other's scent. the demon still had a big smile on his face he had never been this happy around a human. He was now obsessing over him and he wanted to molest him Right Now.. Zaki grabbed Azure to keep him from going after Yuki.

 

"What are you doing!? Your letting him get away!''

He waited until the boy got far enough and he threw a punch at the back of Azure's head causing the other to become more alarmed now and he dodged him, trying to drop kick the other.. Zaki jumped and tackled the other, before you knew it they started fighting on the ground.

 

"Come on Zaki! Get off!" Azure tried pushing and kicking the other off, but it seemed impossible. "Stop it!"

He kicked and punched at the other but Zaki grabbed his feet and pinned him down as he glared at him before placing his hand on Azure and shocking him.

 

Azure screamed as he felt electricity go through his body and hair puffed up, "Why did you do that!"

 

"Cause I think your selfish..''

 

W-we don't have to keep playing this nice role, we aren't angels..'' Azure twitched as he told as he tried pushing him off a him, he started wincing not wanting to be shocked again, ''Stop It!" Azure couldn't get from under the other, "Get off! We are never going to get what we want if you keep holding us back.. I don't care how uncomfortable he is! He's just a silly human.. I came him to get what I want! And damn it I am getting what I want!''

 

"Stop thinking about yourself.'' Azure was always full of lust, that was his weakness, "We just met Him.. and this is exactly why we are sharing him.. I knew you were going to act like that..'' Fire appeared in Zaki's eyes as he stared into Azure's yellow eyes, "He was about to take us to his house and probably share even more information with us but you freaked him out!''

 

"Pfft.. Give me a break.. we'll meet back up with him again,'' Azure rolled his eyes at Zaki, ''All of this waiting is unnecessary.. it's stupid.'' Azure didn't care too much about Yuki right now, but he had no idea that the boy would probably change his heart later.

 

A bright red aura started to form around Zaki's body. Building up energy, He was getting ready to kill Azure,''You never listen! We have to be by his side so he won't get hurt!" Zaki already knew him and Azure wouldn't get a long all the time, he pissed him off. They would usually fight each other in the underworld but it couldn't be likethat here.. he would have to pretend to be his best friend in front of Yuki. He didn't want to appear mean or rude. He didn't really even want to be Azure's partner.. knewing he would find a way to ruin this..

 

"Then let's go get him..''

 

"I don't think so.." Zaki sighed and got off the other as he stood to his feet. If they were going to go and get him, it would be his way not Azure's.. And he knew the other wouldn't cooperate.

 

"Forget this.. I'll go get him myself.." Azure ignored Zaki and started to walk the other direction.

 

"Come back..'' Zaki glared at the other as his aura faded. he watched as Azure completely ignore him, he didn't know why the other even tried him. "Fine..'' He blasted something at the others back, the demon flew off his feet and fell on the hard ground he couldn't move anymore and then he got up and started to walk towards Zaki.

 

"Hey! You can't do that to me!" Azure screamed Zaki and continued yelling at him. But he just ignored him, not even hearing him as he made him after him. "We both share him, it is our responsibility to make sure nothing happens to him. If you don't help me the right way.. you shouldn't be able to be with him..'' Zaki then sighed as he looked back at Azure.. "I don't mean to yell at you man, but you have to to stop thinking about yourself if you want Yuki..''

As Yuki ran away He could hear the others calling after him.

"W-wait Yuki! D-dont! [/Quote]

He was already out of the alley grabbing his bag, running as fast as he could.

Even so... why did Azure look like that?! Why did he feel so strange. He was scared...and yet... he didn't know how he felt! He was so confused!

Yuki ignored him. Running all the way to his house, opening the door and slamming it shut. Locking himself inside. He sat on the ground panting for air, catching his breath.

Why did he do that!?... it hurt...it burned and yet he healed me...is that normal...and Azure said I tasted good! What if he try's eating me!

He left his bookbag on the floor and hurried to his room. Falling on his bed and curling up in the sheets.

"This isn't happening...are those two...really my guardians.."

He muttered, biting his lip. He closed his eyes wanting to just sleep and pretend that this day never happened.

{ Next Day }

Yuki sighed as entered his school. He was already late to class. A lot happened yesterday and he still didn't know what to think...would he see Azure and his friend again? Would he see his guardians again? Would someone attack him today? He looked at the ground in a daze, heading to first period. He had woken up so late that he didn't eat breakfast and missed homeroom. He could barely even sleep at all!

"Yuki."

Yuki turned around seeing his friend in the hall way.

"Hey Shi. "

"We didn't see you this morning...you okay? You look pale."

"I'm ok..."

He figured he shouldn't tell anyone about what happened last night...not like anyone would believe him anyway. And he didn't want to look like a complete nut case.

"Alright well hurry up. First period just started. Your never late for school. Did you over sleep or something? "

"...yeah...sorry for worrying you."

He looked away as he entered class with his tardy slip and took a seat. He immediately stared out the window. Lost in thought.

 

Demons...Red Star...Blood...Immortality...guardians... it was all new for the human high schooler to handle.

As Yuki sat in class, usually there 1st period teacher was a female, Mrs. Uye, she was a English teacher. She taught honors. But today they had a different teacher.. It was Zaki sitting in the teacher's desk and pretending to be a substitute. He had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, a uniform and a briefcase.. Since the demon was smart, he could easily teach these kids anything. He knew what humans taught one another..

 

Azure was sitting all the way in the back of the classroom in another desk, doing paper work.. he was disguising himself as another teacher. He had short black spiky hair, violet eyes and wore a suit as well. He played with the pencil in his mouth as kids walked in.

 

"Hi Guys! How's everyone doing? My name is Mr. Irizaki, your substitute teacher..'' He got up and started to write his name on the board, "Your teacher is pretty sick today.. she has the flu, I really hope she feels better..'' They both found a way to make Yuki's teacher ill on purpose, "So, I will be teaching you.. and hope to get to know each and everyone of you well..''

 

He took his coat off and put it on the back of his chair, "I will treat you the same way you treat me.. by the way I am not a push over.. So don't try me.. Oh and back there-'' Zaki pointed to the back of the classroom at Azure, "Is Mr. Ryuk.. he is another teacher that will help you with anything.. especially when I'm busy. so feel free to ask him anything..''

 

Azure gave a warm smile as he sat in the back of the classroom and waved to everyone, "Nice too meet you all.. I'm Mr. Ryuk and I look forward to helping all of you.'' Azure smiled brightly, him and Zaki were about to fuck with Yuki..

 

"Well.. today class we are going to be picking up from where you left off yesterday with Mrs. Uye, she had some paper work that you guys didnt finish..'' Zaki said as he started passing out worksheets off her desk, "From the looks of it.. most of you guys did well on your work and you need to finish it.."

 

When the blonde came across Yuki's worksheet while passing out the papers, Yuki got the most correct out of everyone else. He was very intellegent.. he didn't seem like the type to slack off anyway.. Zaki was impressed by Yuki, he gave everyone there papers and sat back in his seat as he proceeded to write.

 

"When your done.. just bring your work up to me."

 

Azure was still staring at Yuki, but trying to make sure he did it in a way where the other was looking a certain direction. It didn't look right.. It looked like a teacher was having a boner from staring at another student. He made sure he looked down most of the time so the other wouldn't notice and he crossed his legs.. The demon smiled, still getting high off the scent..

Yuki was too lost in thought to notice anything out if the ordinary. His first period of class was English with Mrs.Uye. He found her teaching skill rather easy making this honor class a breeze.

He slowly looked to the front of the class room. His eyes seeing a man with dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, a uniform and a briefcase.. He was very handsome. The girls in the class room quickly fawned and blushed over him. But Yuki...was very hesitant of the stranger... he didn't look like the demon from last night but....his voice! He sounded just like him! The new teacher got up and started to write his name on the board.

"Your teacher is pretty sick today.. she has the flu, I really hope she feels better..So, I will be teaching you.. and hope to get to know each and everyone of you well..'' [/Quote]

No...no he was just over reacting right? Maybe this was just a big misunderstanding. This guy seemed really nice and already the students liked him. The man took his coat off and put it on the back of his chair.

Finish? Yuki was almost done.. today would be rather easy then if all he had to do was finish the work sheet...but he felt like...like someone was watching him.

Yuki grabbed his pencil and began working. Running a hand threw his hair as he leaned over his paper.

She whispered. Yuki shook his head slightly as he took it and unfolded it. Reading the note.

Irizaki's eyes widened as he watched as a bunch of females fawned over him, he felt awkward from the way they reacted, Wow.. He smiled at the compliments but tried his best to just ignore them. He didn't expect them to do that.. They had a lot of females in that class and they kept staring at him.. it mad him smirk, Irazaki liked girls, they were cool.. but he wasn't too sure about Azure though.. Well at least they don't seem like brats He thought to himself feeling speechless as he could hear some of the things they were saying. He then placed his hands over his head as he relaxed in Mrs. Uye's chair as he stared down at some of his paper work.

 

Azure blushed softly laughing nervously as he heard the others talk about him and Zaki, unlike Zaki he was a bit more sensitive and shy around girls.

 

Zaki then started to laugh a bit, he hadn't seen Shi pass the note to Yuki, but he knew that Shi passed it. "Hey Kid..'' He pointed at Yuki, "Yeah You, you think your Slick.. Come bring that to me..'' Zaki rested his head on his hand, glaring at Yuki as he waited for the other to come up, "Bring your worksheet with you too..''

 

"I'm pretty sure you would like to share that with the rest of the class.'' Azure said smirking at Yuki from the back of the room, "You couldn't just be smart enough.. and do your work, I mean the worksheet doesn't look that long..''

He stated matter-of-factly. Glancing back at the man. If he really read what the note said..he might get in more trouble or actually hurt there feelings.

Mr. Irizaki coughed a bit before taking the note out of Yuki's hand, he read it.. but his expression didn't really change. He could care less about what it said. But magically, At the end of the message more stuff was added to it.. He wasn't going to read it out loud, Azure was just messing with Yuki.

 

"Well 1st of all I know who passed this letter to you.. and I am not mad at her for doing it, so shes not in trouble.. I blame you for taking it from her.'' Zaki just wanted to frustrate Yuki. He then commented on the rest of the letter..

 

'Mr. Irizaki is the ugliest man I have ever seen? Really..? How old are you?'' The last part was written as Yuki's handwriting so the other couldn't deny it. ''Why would you write something like that?" Zaki glared at Yuki and sighed heavily, "See me after the class.. Brat.'' Zaki then grabbed his students paper to see how much he did.

 

He examined it for a minute before turned his nose up at the other, "So.. You decided to draw a guy's lower half all over your worksheet... how talented..'' He said sarcastically, "You also didn't answer most of the questions correctly,'' Which was a lie, Yuki was very smart but Zaki changed the writing on Yaki's paper. "instead you wrote in the blanks "I don't care.. or I don't know how to do this. You are not going to get far by doing that.. and the questions that DO look right look as if you copied it from somebody else.''

 

Azure bite his lip as he put his head down on the desk, to prevent the other's from seeing that he was laughing quietly.

 

Zaki balled up Yuki's paper, "So.. Mr. Oshio.. your going to need tutoring, go to detention after school today for assignments and for the next couple of months.. also probably a call from your parents and maybe even worse..''

 

Azure lifted his head up, trying to appear more serious now.. he used his powers and made Yuki smack Zaki across the face. It was apart of whatever they planned..

Yuki's jaw dropped slightly in complete shock.

Shi- slammed his hands on his desk standing up. Glaring at his peers.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM! Your all just bullies! We've all grown up with Yuki and he isn't like that!! Your all just pathetic losers! "

He turned to Mr. Irizaki.

"Mr. Irizaki. Forgive my outburst and faul language but Yuki would never cheat! He's always studying hard- and he would never be so rude to an adult. "

Thank God he had a real friend! A friend that didn't join in to talk bad about him..a friend that stood up for him! And didn't leave him out in the dust! Tears were building up in Yuki's eyes.

"If you want to give someone detention then give it to me...I'm the one who wrote the note to Yuki."

Yuki had no idea what happened... but his hand just suddenly moved...moved with out his permission! He covered his mouth in shock. He had just slapped Mr. Irizaki!

"Try standing up for your friend now Shi! He'll be lucky if he doesn't get expelled ! "

And he ran out of the classroom. Tears running down his face..what was happening to him?! Why would he do that?! He just...wanted to disappear! What would Shi think! His friend stood up for him and then He just hit the teacher! His life was over!

 

Yuki ran to the gym storage room.. outside of the school building. Students only went there when the schools competition tournament started. Which was months from now...He could hide there and cry in peace. And no one would disturb him.

Zaki's eyes widened as he realized how much of a douche bag Yuki's classmates were. He wanted to mess with the other but he didn't think that it would go this this far.. Yuki was getting made fun of and it was beginning to bother Zaki and he glared at the class, they were so wrong, "Hey!! Cut that out! Did I tell any of you to talk!?'' He shouted as the class got him angry, "You should be ashamed of yourselves! None of this is funny!! Say another goddamn word and all of you will go to the principles office!!'' The demon was an asshole himself but even he had a heart.. and he didn't wanna go along with the plan anymore of pranking him. What these kids were doing were unbelievable, it was harsh.. this High school was bitch.

 

Azure's jaw dropped a bit as he glared at Zaki. The other was making him mad and he shook his head at him in disappointment. Zaki wasn't sticking to the plan.. What he didn't like about this demon was that he had a soft side. Unlike most demon.. they wouldn't have cared if Yuki was being made fun of. Zaki didn't have it in him to always be evil and he hated that about him. What made him really sick was that he was sticking up for a human..

 

Zaki watched as Yuki was becoming overwhelmed with anxiety, getting more and more upset. he was the center of attention.. These douche bags were bullying him and throwing hurtful words at the boy. Causing him to feel terrible.. and making Zaki feel like shit.. Out of everything Zaki never wanted to see in his life, this was one of them.. He was about to kill everyone in this classroom. And that's when Shi stood up, telling the class off. Zaki remained quiet the whole time she yelled. These assholes deserved it.. why the fuck were these kids so evil.

 

And then.. that's when it happened, Yuki smacked Zaki and the blondes eyes widened, Fuck.. What have I done.. His peers continued pestering Yuki and Zaki frowned, feeling bad for the other as he rubbed his cheek. He wished he had never done this.. Zaki's heart sunk when the boy broke down crying and barged out of the class room.

 

"You fucking assholes! You didn't have to do that!" Zaki ran out the classroom to go and find the other, Luckily this period was almost over and Mrs. Uye didn't have a second period.

 

Azure sighed and slammed his fist on the desk, "Damn you Zaki!" He muttered before leaving out the class and chasing after the other. Azure didn't care if he left those kids by themselves.. "What are you doing?! Why didnt you stick to it!" He asked Zaki, gripping him tightly by his wrist.

 

Zaki snatched his arm away from the other and fire appeared in his eyes when he turned around. His hair also turned black and white, "I'm going to go a get Yuki.. That was wrong and you know it..''

 

"W-what are you talking about?!"

 

Zaki ignored Azure and walked off from him as he proceeded to find Yuki.

 

"Why are you being so nice to them.. What kind of demon are you man?" Azure followed after him, "We don't do shit like this.. Do Not develop any relations with these mortals Zaki..''

 

Zaki sighed heavily, he didn't want to hear anything Azure had to say. Azure turned Zaki's hair back blonde. "Be nice.." Zaki told the other as he walked with him and left out the school building before going into the storage room and opening the door slowly.

 

"Yuki..'' Azure spoke softly as he looked around, "Come out please.. We don't want you to stay in here all day.''

Yuki sobbed. His teacher completely embarrassed him! He humiliated him. And now He was terrified to confront Shi... to comfort anyone! What was wrong with him?! Was he going crazy?

Ryuk? He couldn't tell.. he hid in the corner next to the wrestling mates.

"Please just..just go away!"

"Come out please.. We don't want you to stay in here all day.''[/Quote]

"I want to stay in here forever! I'm not going back out there! My life is over!"

He cried. His hair in his eyes. He acted like any other teenager.

"I can make it like it never happened.." Zaki told the other as he placed his hand on Yuki's head.

"Look.. I wont punish you.. or call your parents. No detentions or difficult assignments and I wont get the principle involved.'' Zaki knelt down next to Yuki with Azure. The boy still had that wonderful scent causing Azure to inhale and smile..

 

"No more bullying will happen.. Okay?" Azure told the other as he sat next to Yuki, "Now lift your head up high like the strong person you are.. and look at me.'' He told the other with a smiled.

The demon knelt down next to him along with Azure. Yuki still remained curled up in a ball. Still upset with the two..

Yuki hesitated. There voices...the way they came after him... the tricks and mind games that happened to him during class... it must be his guardians.,. The two demons that scared him and yet saved him last night.

".. I-it's you two...isn't it"

He slowly looked up at Zaki and the glanced at Azure.

"It is you...the demons from last night. You purposely messed with me! You purposely came to toy with me! You come here and try to be nice and act like my friends..as if you really want to help me... and yet you do this to me! Your both monsters! J-Just leave me alone! "

He stood- pushing past them.

When Yuki smacked Zaki's hand away, he rubbed it as the other remained angry and fussed at them for screwing him over. He didn't really expect the other to forgive him anyway.. He knew Yuki was smarter than that.

 

"We actually didn't think it would go this far..." Zaki said as he frowned at the other before placing his hands in his pocket, "I guess I over did it..."

 

Yuki then told the two demons who he thought they were from recognizing their voices.

 

"What took you so long to realize who we were?" Azure asked before raising his eyebrow at Yuki.

 

Suddenly Yuki started yelling at them, telling them about themselves, what they've done and how wrong they are. He then stood, screaming more but this time at the top of his lungs. Azure and Zaki's eyes widened as the other told them off and pushed passed them..

 

One of the demons then started laughing after he got yelled it. Zaki just remained quiet as he was pushed, he showed no emotion and gazed at the floor..

 

"So, Your mean... When you wanna be..'' Azure grinned revealing his sharp teeth as his eyes turned a golden yellow, black horns appeared on his head and he had long flowing red hair down his back. He was starting to mess with Yuki again..

 

Zaki then leaned against the wall shrugging, "We didn't even do anything..''

 

"I know right.." Azure told the other as he smirked at Zaki, "I mean dude, if we don't protect you.. you could get killed a demon. Do you want that?" Azure said as he looked back down at the other, "I don't think you want your life to be shorten.. do you?"

 

The red headed demon then sighed, "OK.. maybe we are immature assholes that do play too much, sometimes. But.. we offered to help you and that's what we've been trying to do.. So lower your voice kid.''

 

Azure didn't really want to comfort or help the other anyway.. He was just doing it so Zaki wouldn't kick his ass and to trick Yuki. But right now Azure was starting to be an asshole..

 

Zaki glanced back at the boy. "Don't get so upset Yuki.. it's not good for you..''

 

"Yeah Yuki, you don't want your cute little face to break out.." Azure kept smiling at him, "Why are you so mean to me?''

Yuki glared as one of the demons started laughing. What was so funny?! Why was He laughing!

Azure grinned at him. His eyes widened slightly as the boy revealed his sharp teeth, golden eyes, black horns, and long red hair . The two of them acted all smart! Talking back... They treated him like a brat!

Yuki flinched. He bit his lip. Was he seriously being scolded by demons! They were the ones that made him leave the classroom! They were the ones that had him crying!

Yuki looked away from Azure. He didn't...he didn't want to die. And he defiantly didn't want to be eaten. The demon sighed..

He took a deep breath as he sat on the wrestling mats. His head in his hands.

"just please..stop talking. You two know nothing..how am I suppose to trust you when you jerks pose yourselves as teachers and mess with me... your lying to me...aren't you."

He looked up at Azure.

" Your hiding something form me... tell me.... why even bother protecting me?! There must be something in it for you too! Other wise it doesn't make sense! Why wouldn't you two want me dead- why wouldn't you want to be immortal"

He looked at both of them.

"I demand to know the truth... and don't say you feel sorry for me again because that's a lie."

"Why don't we want you to die? Because we both like you.." Azure said lying to the other once more, "I don't want you to die. I don't want eat you.. and I sure don't want anyone else to eat you.''

 

"We were just joking.. I'm sorry. I didn't think that people would humiliate you like that..'' Zaki sighed, "I thought you would laugh about it later..''

Yuki's eyes widened slightly... because they liked him? If they liked him they had a twisted way of showing it.

He covered his ears.

He was hesitant...hesitant to believe, let alone trust him! Zaki quickly spoke up.

Zaki sighed, Yuki looked at him.. water building up in his pretty dark blue eyes. He didn't want to be scared....or attacked...or alone! He had no Where else to go...no one else to turn too..all he had was Aurze abs Zaki...

 

He would fool himself into thinking that He trusted the two demons..that they actually cared about him... He would be naive and eat what they were feeding him.

Yuki bit his lip and he ran into Zaki's gripping his shirt and barring his face into the others chest...God he was so warm... he started crying again. In a day his hole life turned upside down...He had a right to sob. To be so weak and vulnerable.

"Stupid! Don't ever do that to me again! Or I... or I won't forgive you!"

He trembled against the other. His scent faint.

The sweet smell of cherry blossoms slipping up Zaki's nose.

"I don't...I don't want to die.. I'll listen...j-just protect me...don't h-hurt me any more."

He whispered.

"No.. we are not." Azure said to the other as he watched him cover his ears, Yuki didn't want to believe it.. He was right, No demon was suppose to care about a human.. that just wasn't normal. "We really do care about you.."

 

"Yes Yuki, whether you believe it or not-'' Zaki placed his hands over Yuki's and slowly brought them down to his side so he wouldn't cover his ears. "We both want you.."

 

Zaki's eyes widened a bit as the other started to cry again but this time clinging to his shirt. He could hear everything the other was saying. Zaki was a bit shocked that Yuki was trying to fool himself and he wasn't sure why.. The other had finally started to figure out what was happening and instead he decided to deceived his self.. thinking it would make him feel better.

 

Zaki went along with it and look down at the other frowning,"Ok.. Yuki.. I swear on my life, that I will never hurt you ever again.. and I will always be there for you..'' He knew deep down the other had to know that was a lie.. he had too. Yuki was better than that, but he made himself naive because he didn't have anyone else to protect him..

 

Azure rubbed Yuki's back as he cried into Zaki's chest, "Me too, I'm really sorry for fucking you over like that.. I won't ever do it again."

 

Zaki could feel his wet shirt sticking to his body as the other continued sobbing. He slowly wrapped his arms around the other.. He knew he was wrong, he was a liar and he wasn't real. He looked away from Yuki as he sobbed, he did feel bad for the other.. Yuki was going threw shit by himself.. he needed someone. Zaki didn't know whether he should be ashamed of himself of the evil he's just done or proud of what he could benefit from this... He wasn't his friend, he was tricking the boy that was probably going to give him his trust..

 

"It's Okay Yuki, Shhh Just.. try to relax." Azure said to the other as he stroked his brown hair, ''It'll be alright.. Like Zaki said we'll protect you and fix what happen today..''

 

 

Zaki's eyes widened and they turned a soft pink. His natural eye color was gone when Yuki's scent went up his nose. He was starting to act strange.. The other was so close to him and he was getting weak.. Yuki smelled Amazing.. The demon bit his lower lip until it bled, shaking he now understood why Azure couldn't control himself.. Zaki kept telling Azure how he should control himself.. but he himself was becoming weak by Yuki's scent. ''I-I cant..'' Zaki balled up his fist, he started panting heavily, sweating and his heart began racing. He was just a simple human and he was making a demon weak..

 

His face became flustered and he wanted to push Yuki away but his body didn't want him too. He didn't want him to run off again in fear.. But he was driving him icrazy. He couldn't hold back.. Yuki's scent was addicting.

 

Zaki quickly pulled Yuki up a bit by his collar and he kissed him deeply.. his body could careless if Yuki was afraid or not.

The human nodded in the demons grasp. He had to believe..had to trust them... Even tho deep down inside He was scared too...knew that he shouldn't. Azure came to him and rubbed His back as he cried into Zaki's chest.

He nodded. Believing every lie they fed him. The demon actually comforted him by slowly wrapping his arms around him... Zaki was so warm.. in his arms he felt safe... at lest that's what he told himself over and over again.

The human quickly did as he was told. Sniffling as he stopped His crying. His slightly trembling body calming down. He slowly nuzzled into Zaki...as Azure stroked his hair.

He whispered. Pulling back just a little to rub his eyes. He glanced at Zaki as he noticed the demon started acting strange. His eyes turned a soft pink. The demon was bleeding from his bottom lip, He was shaking too!

Yuki looked up at the demon...He can't? Can't what? Yuki could hear Zaki's heart racing! He saw the boys hands clench into fists. The other was scaring him.

"Z..Zaki?"

Zaki suddenly pulled him by his collar and before he knew it the demons lips were against his! His eyes widened As the man kissed him. This was his very first kiss! His first kiss and the demon stole it from him! He gripped his hand, trying to struggle and pull away. But the boy only depended the kiss. And to his surprise Zaki face was flustered.

N..no... no! Stop it Zaki!

 

Energy....that's what surged out of Yuki's lips and into the others mouth... feeding his need and desire for power and strength.

W..what's...going on... I feel like...my..my energy is being..sucked out of me.

Yuki eyes were half closed now...and his struggling slowly decreased. The tight grip he had on the other weakened every second.. He needed to breath!
