John let out a timid smile as he nodded. "She still is! We just... Don't meet that often anymore." He said quietly, rubbing his eyes with his hand. "D-Don't worry... Cookies are easy!" He said with a slight smile as he began walking to the kitchen, sniffling softly from time to time. The raven took out the ingrediants needed and began making the batter while telling Aras what to do as well... Mostly with please, if you could, could you, and so on.

Aras rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he glanced at his toes, "I hope I can have the honor of meeting her one day..." A small blush reddened on his cheeks, obviously a bit nervous about the statement, "Well um... I made cookies with my mother once... I'm just not really good at it, honestly." The blush turned a darker color as he walked with the other over to the kitchen. When they started, Aras was shaky in his movements, nervous about if he was grabbing the right thing or not.

John stayed quiet about his mother afterwards. Yeah, they still met... Just he was doing all the talking. His mother lost her vocal cords after standing up to her abusive husband - he, in fact, was the main cause for John's behavior. The man now was in prison and his mother found a new man that loved her and took care of her...

While they were making the cookies, John found himself smiling at Aras more and more. He actually looked quite cute like this... Once the dough was in the oven and the dishes were taken care of, John turned to his boyfriend and let out a shy smile. "Let's make the hot chocolate while we wait... Okay?" He offered with a timid expression.

Aras himself hadn't really talked much to his family. He was okay, in a way, with that. His mother was the type of woman who liked to push his buttons and prod, and his father was the type of miserable sod who liked to drink whiskey alone with the family dog. His sisters were kind of looney, and their husbands were losers, and so were their sons. He wasn't that fond of his family...though he still loved them.

Aras smiled softly at the other and let out a rather small sigh and leaned over while they were making the dough, kissing his cheek softly. The other looked so cute... Giggling softly, the tall German man mrumured, "You look so cute like that, John..." Once the cookies were in the oven, the lanky man nodded to the other, a small blush on his own cheeks as he gave the stout man a rather loose hug, a large smile on his face.

John's lips parted slightly at the kiss to his cheek and he felt his cheeks flushing red. "U-Uhm... Thanks..." He murmured out softly, clearly embarrassed as he stared at his feet. When he was hugged, the raven smiled shyly and hugged back, gently pulling Aras to himself. "So, uhm... W-We never really did the question game..." He trailed off quietly. They did two questions, and ended up crying. He wanted to actually not fail this time...

A small sigh came from the lips of the German man as he pressed another small kiss to the shell of his ear. With a rather toothy smile, he murmured, "Sure, we can play the question game. Though, it's your turn now, I asked the last question." reminded Aras with a small huff, his dark blue eyes holding a bit of happiness in them. "Hmm..." He glanced off to the side and waited for the other to ask him a question.

John blinked a few times and let out a timid smile, his cheeks a bit rosy at the kiss he received. "A-Ah... Okay!" He said softly as he began searching the cabinets for chocolate they would melt and add milk to. "Um... So, wait, why did you move here again?" He asked with a nervous expression, unsure wether the other told him some time ago or not.

His eyes traced the floor as a soft smile appeared on his face once more, "Oi....I thought I told you before, though my father's business came to here...so we left Germany and came here." His voice held a bit of an airiness to it. He wasn't that big of a fan of this place, honestly. He wished that he could go home and see his country again, his homeland. He missed it, a lot. "If we're still together in a few years...we should go to Germany together."

John's cheeks flushed red as he looked away, nervously fidgeting with his thumbs. "A-Ah, sorry!" He immediately apologized, just focusing on melting the chocolate. He nearly dropped the whole thing at what Aras said last. "U-Uhm..." He looked down nervously and licked his lips slightly. "But... I-I mean, I don't know German, I... There would probably be a lot of troubles there... A-And I wouldn't want to trouble you..." He trailed off quietly as he stared at the slowly melting chocolate. "Um... C-Could you pass me the milk?"

"Oi, I said a few years from now...and by then I could probably teach you German, dear..." murmured Aras softly as he glanced at the other, passing him the milk with ease. "My question is...do you know any other language besides English?" He questioned this, because he was curious. Aras himself only knew three languages, and those were German, English, and Russian.

John smiled timidly and nodded when he heard the other. "Y-Yeah..." He said softly as he smiled. The raven took the milk and poured some into the melted chocolate. Hearing the question, he seemed to get extremely nervous. "Um... Well... I..." He looked down with a nervous expression. "I know French, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese and I've started Japanese not too long ago..." It was kind of like a hobby to him to learn new languages - not that he'd really use them a lot... "Um... When did you get your pets?"

Aras was pretty impressed when the other told him about how he knew a bunch of other languages... he wished that he could learn languages like that. 'Man, you must be a genius....I only know German, English, and Russian..." Rubbing one of his eyes, he gvae him a rather large smile as he heard the question, "My pets I have currently? A few months ago. My first family pet was a German Shepard named Hannes, and we also had a cat around the same time... though I don't remember it's name." admitted the young German with a sigh before asking, "What is your favorite video-game?"

John let out a nervous chuckle as he shook his head. "No, I just have a lot of free time... I barely leave home, so I just do this..." He said softly as he looked at Aras with a shy smile. While the other talked about his pets, John continued making the hot chocolate. When he heard the question, he was done and put the pot away for the moment. "I, uhm... Probably... Infamous: Second Son." He decided with a soft huff. "Um... Why did you decide to work at the cafe?"

"I wish I had enough free time to learn languages like that... that's just really cool." said Aras with a small smile as he rbbed the back of his neck, "I personally like Assassin's Creed... or anything anime based, to be truthful." admitted the German man with a small blush creeping up on his cheeks, "Oi...I decided to get a job at the coffee-shop because it has a nice atmosphere to it, and usually rather nice people who come to it... and I enjoy socializing with others. It makes me happy to be able to make another person happy."

What Aras said first wasn't really all that amazing for John, actually. He only had that much free time because he spent most of his time home, since he barely had any friends. When he listened to him further, the raven let out a quiet chuckle. "So you like anime?" He asked with a smile as he looked at the hot chocolate. He began pouring it into two mugs before leaning down to check on the cookies. "O-Oh..." He muttered out at the other's answer. So Aras was a person who liked socializing, huh...

Aras sighed at the question and nodded to himself before saying, "Yeah, I used to love it a whole lot more when I was younger, though now there are a few anime that I've been recently watching. How about you? Do you like anime?" He was a little bit curious about that. What genre did John like, anyways? Was he into romance, harem, or action...? John, to him, seemed like the type of guy who liked romance or adventure films... Stretching the slightest bit, he let out a content yawn, his eyes squeezing the closed.

John smiled softly as he listened, searching the cabinets until he found the marshmallows. Once he found them, he put four in both of the mugs. Hearing the question, he smiled and shook his head. "Not really... I've seen a few, but I prefer video games... Or movies." He talked softly as he turned to Aras and let out a small smile. "Do you like flowers?" He asked, and immediately regretted it... Then he remembered that they were boyfriends and that the other realized by now that he was gay. After all, how else would he be here, with him?

"I can understand that. There are a lot of.. weird anime out there, honestly. It's kind of awkward." admitted the young male with a small sigh, a soft blush on his face as he heard the next question, "Of course I like flowers, silly. They smell nice, and they are beautiful, actually...I appreciate that you have them around your house." Rubbing the back of his neck, he glanced at the hot-chocolate... the smell of warm cocoa filled the air... and it smelled delicious, honestly. "That hot chocolate seems really good, dear! How did you learn how to cook stuff like this?"

John felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him at what Aras said. "Um... I-I enjoy having them around me too..." He muttered softly. The raven smiled shyly at the compliment as he shook his head lightly. "This is really easy... I lived alone from college, so I had to cook for myself... And I used to help out mom, too." He answered softly. "Um... What's your favorite scent?" He asked timidly, knowing the question was weird.

The tall male sighed quietly as he stretched his arms over his head, "I remember when I went to college... well, let's just say that cooking wasn't exactly my forte so to speak..." letting out a small huff, he then remarked, "You should open your own bakery someday, y'know?" Though, when he heard the next question, he raised an eyebrow before replying, "I enjoy the smell of rose, cinnamon, and juniper... not together, but those are my favorite scents." Thinking of a question, he then asked, "What is your favorite genre?"

John would've dropped whatever he was holding at what Aras said. Good thing his hands were empty... "A bakery? I couldn't..." He muttered out quietly. That would require a lot of socializing... And confidence in general! The raven nodded quietly at the answer he got and managed a smile. "I see..." He murmured softly. "I like comedy and romance best." The man answered quietly. "Did you ever have a boyfriend or a girlfriend before?"

"It wouldn't have to require a lot of socializing if you were baking back in the kitchen and you had servers and such." said Aras quietly, understanding why the other would freak out in the situation. Drawing in a quick breath, he smiled, "I figured that you'd like those movies the best... they fit your personality, cutie." He was actually amazed that his presumption was correct. Though, when he heard the question at hand, he gulped and murmured, "Y-Yeah...I had a two boyfriends before and a girlfriend..."

John still shok his head, his eyes somewhat scared. "N-No, I couldn't... Just... L-Let's not speak about it... Okay...?" He asked in a timid manner as he stared at his feet. If Aras didn't press on the subject anymore, he would be fine... The raven let out a slight smile at what the other said about his answer, still a bit nervous. When the German answered his question, John let out a quiet sigh. "You're so much more experienced in this kind of thing..." He muttered out quietly, feeling a bit ashamed that he hadn't had anything like that before.

Aras nodded slowly while looking at his own feet. He felt like things were getting awkward again really fast. "I suppose I am more experienced...well, more experienced in getting my heart broken, but yeah, sure." Aras offered him a sad smile before rubbing the back of his neck, glancing at the floor, "So um... out of any country, which would you want to visit?" He questioned this with the intentions of getting away from the last subject that they were talking about.

John blinked a few times at how the other answered. He was definitely curious to understand why he said that, but... He probably shouldn't ask. It wasn't really something Aras probably wanted to say... John smiled lightly at the question, leaning against the counter. "I really want to visit India someday..." He said softly, his voice warm. "Um... What's your favorite candy?" He asked with a nervous, embarrassed expression.
