Aras noticed the other getting a bit uneasy... so he'd stop calling him "dear". He didn't want to make him feel too awkward... "So, John, what do you do for a living?" He was actually rather curious. What did this man do? He prodded his own lips, trying to guess for himself... but he kept drawing blanks as he tried to think of what it was. "Oh, and um, are you coming by the coffee-shop today?"

"Me? Ah, it's... Really nothing special." John said at first, his smile timid. "I'm a gardener." He finally said softly, looking away from Aras a bit. The question made him turn his gaze back to the other, however. "Of course I am... I always go there, almost each day." John admitted with a nervous smile. "The pastries there are really good..." He added up, once again looking down at his feet. Why did this man even want to talk to him?

"A gardener... do you do fruits, or do you do flowers? I'm sorry if I'm not too keen exactly as to what farmers do...but I'm curious." said the young male with a small sigh, his blue eyes holding a warm look as he blushed darkly, rubbing his neck with his hand nervously. "Okay, I'm on shift later to do... it's kinda embarrassing, y'know?" He shuffled a bit before him sighed, "Yeah, the pastries are quite delicious..."

John pursed his lips, looking at Aras with the smallest frown on his face. "A gardener, not a farmer." He said quietly before letting out a sigh. "I work with flowers, as well as various bushes or trees... But only the decorative ones." The raven explained quietly, looking down at his feet. "Um... I should probably go, I hate being late..." John said with his shy smile back on his face. "I guess I'll.. See you later, then?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that...I'm not really good with words, to be completely honest, given that German is my first language, not English." murmured Aras quietly as he rubbed the back of his neck with a small grin, his deep blue eyes closing the slightest bit in embarrassment, "I can um...walk you to work if you want. I don't have anywhere to be right now, so I can just walk with you... if you want company that is."

John was most certainly very surprised at the offer. "O-Oh, uhm..." The man hesitated, his gaze darting around as the blush on his cheeks deepened. "I don't... I don't mind, I guess.." He murmured out softly as he glanced up at the other and let out a small smile. "If you really want to.." The raven mumbled out and turned around, walking to the elevator to hide his embarrassment. The man almost tripped over his own leg, his whole face red as he continued walking.

"You seem a little bit tense... is everything okay, John?" questioned Aras with a small sigh as he followed him to the elevator. Smiling softly, he waited for the other to press the button. Stretching, a crack came from his back, and he let out a soft noise, obviously pleased by it. It felt nice... "Are your co-workers nice to you? Mine are kind of...well, assholes."

"No, everything's fine." John answered quietly as he pressed the button to the first floor, since currently they were in the third and... He hated stairs. "My co-workers?... We don't really talk much, but... Mostly they nice. They tease me a bit, but... We get along, I guess." The raven said softly, a small smile on his face. "Why are yours assholes?"

"It's nice to now that you have people who are nice to you at your job." smiled Aras softly as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Um...well...I'm the newest worker there, y'know? They make me do a bunch of stupid stuff that I normally wouldn't do in general. Not that it isn't funny or anything, it just gets a bit annoying." When the elevator opened, Aras waited for John to go in first, wanting to have good manners for the other male. If it was somebody else, he probably would have just walked in the elevator without a second thought... why was he being so nice to this guy?

John smiled at the explanation, nodding a bit. "Well, that won't continue forever, then. They'll stop soon..." He said softly as he stepped into the elevator. Inside, he pressed the button and let out a quiet sigh. "Why do you even want to talk to me?" He asked quietly, staring at his feet. "I'm really awkward and clumsy, and..." He bit down on his lip slightly before shaking his head. "Why does someone like you want to be with me?"

When the other walked into the elevator, Aras followed quietly, a small huff leaving his mouth as he stood next to him. "Why wouldn't I want to be around someone like you is the real question, dear. You're nice, considerate, and sweet, as far as I can tell, and you're fun to listen to. Also... your stutter is kind of cute, dear." Leaning back against the wall of the elevator, his arms resting across his chest, one foot perched up on the wall with a sigh.

John felt the blush taking over his whole face as he shut up, staring down with an embarrassed expression. "But... But..." He mumbled softly, gripping at his shirt a bit. "But I'm fat... Aren't you disgusted with it?.." He asked with uncertainty in his voice before sighing out quietly. The raven just looked away, unable to look at Aras properly now.

"Fat being a reason to not like somebody? That's the stupidest thing that I think I've heard since moving to America. Having more on you gives someone more stuff to like about someone, if that makes sense, but that's probably just my opinion. I think you're fine just the way you are, dear." said Aras with a small sigh. Why was the other so down on himself? He was actually kind of handsome...

John sighed as he looked down, lightly shaking his head. "You're probably the only one who thinks that." He muttered out and walked out of the elevator when the door opened. With his hands still in his pockets, the raven slowly walked towards the doors, lightly nibbling on his lower lip. He always had trouble finding friends because of his body and personality... People often used him, not befriended him.

"Why would I be the only one who thinks that way? You're actually a rather handsome man." He found himself say, though he didn't even notice the fact that he stated that until a few moments later, his cheeks lighting up a soft pink color. "S-So um... what type of flowers do you grow anyways? I'd imagine a whole bunch of different types..." He was trying to get on another subject now, obviously a bit embarrassed after realizing the fact that he had stated exactly what was on his mind. Really, he wished he had better self-control...

John's eyes widened at the compliment and he felt like his whole face suddenly catched on fire. His ears were completely red as he tried to find something to say and simply couldn't. He walked through the door, lightly rubbing the back of his neck with a clearly embarrassed expression before he was sasked the question. "M-Me?" He wanted to kill himself for stuttering this much. "I have a lot of flowers... I-I mean, at home." He said softly, looking away from Aras.

"Mhm....oh um...can I come into your apartment one time? I want to see the flowers...I actually really like flowers, they're pretty...I know people would think I'm less of a man for finding interest in them, but I don't really care..." sighed Aras with a small huff, deep blue eyes glancing at his Vans clad feet, eyes a bit distant, "Sorry if I made you feel awkward or something...I understand if you hate me for spewing weird compliments all the time..."

John's expression softened at the request and he nodded a bit timidly. "Sure... I don't mind, but there's really not much to see in there.." He said quietly, looking at his feet as he walked. "O-Oh, no, no, that's nothing you should be worrying about!" The raven immediately said as the other apologized. "I-It's really fine..." The man said with a small, shy smile on his face. John sighed as he stopped in front of a two-floor building. "Well... I should grab the stuff I need and go work... Uhm... If you want to, you can wait a bit... I-I'll be working at the park today, anyway, so I'll go there in a bit."

Aras smiled softly at the man. Really, this guy was pretty nice, but why was he so down on himself? Aras mentally made a note of that... he was going to try to help this man build some self-confidence. "The park, eh? I think I can make it over there in a bit...I have a few errands to run today before I have to go to work, if you want, I can wait for you at the park and we can go run my errands together, and then go to the coffee-shop." Aras offered this with a small laugh at the end of his statement, an obviously happy look on his face.

John blinked and huffed softly while furrowing his brows. "But I can't go with you... The park is big, I have to take care of everything there." He muttered out with a quiet sigh. "I'll just... See you in the cafe, then." He decided with a small smile and tilted his head to one side. "I thought we could go to the park together, but you have what to do anyway..." The raven said with a shy smile as he rocked on his heels slightly. "So... See you!"

"Oh...um...okay." Aras continued to forget about what he was supposed to do tonight as the cafe. A maid costume...really? He really hated the idea, yet he loved it at the same time... Maybe he'd be able to put on a little show. The idea made him smirk to himself. Though, when the other mentioned that he had to go, Aras smiled brightly and said, "Alright, see yah soon, dear!~"

John nodded a bit and quickly walked inside, huffing softly to himself. Before anything else, he grabbed himself a glass of water, gulped it down and went off to get his tools and a hat. They kept all of the equipment here, so it would be easy to get to work. They didn't have to keep anything at home like this... The raven smiled to himself as he took everything he needed, put on a hat and walked out, into the park. There he spent his whole day, carefully tending to the flowers and bushes with three other gardeners. Truly, the park was big... They had to mow the grass, too. He was tired when he was done.

Later on that day, after he had ran all of his errands, which was mostly buying some food and some little things like shampoo and tooth-paste, Aras had gone to his job. It was embarrassing really, given that once he was inside, he was forced into the bathroom with the rather...lewd attire. When he slipped on the maid's outfit, he glared at himself in the mirror...he looked hot. The only thing he didn't like about it was the fact that it hardly covered his ass. When he glanced at his legs, he was relieved... there were no new hairs there. He truly did hate having body hair except the hair on his head and his eye-brows. The outfit that was wearing was black and blue, and was a little tight on his body... it had blue and white striped knee-high socks, along with a pair of black heels, and a little black and blue head band.... really, this was a bit...naughty, in terms. Walking out of the bathroom in his new attire, the German male walked , soon getting used to the heels over the next hour. He had served people throughout that hour, he received weird looks from them, or looks of lust, and it made him internally laugh a bit, and he knew it made the other employees blush and laugh hysterically in the back.

John barely got home without stopping to sit somewhere. Really, park was probably his least favorite place to work at. It was huge... He spent most of his time leaning down, so his back was definitely aching quite bad now. The man got home and groaned out quietly, plopping down on the bed for a while. Finally gathering up the strength to go and shower, he did so and dressed in comfortable clothing before walking to eat. He was starving by now. The raven made himself some pasta with salmon and ate almost the whole pot - really, he was hungry after work. After this, he walked off to the coffee shop.

 

When he got there, John was sure he got the wrong building at first. His jaw dropped when he stared at Aras for a while, completely frozen up. Finally snapping out of it, he felt his cheeks burning up as he lowered his gaze and slowly walked to order himself some tea and a cupcake... God, this was embarrassing. So, so very embarrassing.

When John walked into the coffee-shop, Aras was instantly flustered. His cheeks glowed a bright pink in color, obviously embarrassed by that. Wiggling his ass the slightest bit when he walked back to the counter so he could take John's order, he chuckled softly, "Hey, remember when I said that my fellow workers are assholes?" Cocking his head slightly, the German man was obviously trying to keep his cool and not freak out instantly. He felt so stupid... he hoped he didn't scare John away. Though...if John liked this...maybe he could tease him a little. "What can I get you today, kind sir?"
