Aras blinked a few times as he nibbled on the pancake. Swallowing a few more pieces he said, "I'll try it now..." He held a small smile on his face as he ripped the pancake in half and lightly dipped it in the jam. Bringing it to his mouth, the young man took a small bite out of it, and let out a content sigh. The jam was perfect...not too sweet, yet not too sour. Swallowing it with a rather small grin, he murmured, "It truly is delicious. Your grandma makes great jam."

John watched the other cautiously as he tried the jam. The raven suddenly began feeling very anxious - what if Aras didn't like the jam? What if it was too sweet? His eyes turned to the cup of coffee he'd made for the other. What if he didn't like caramel? A quiet sigh of relief passed through his lips when he heard his boyfriend... Boyfriend, yes, say that the jam was good. "A-Ah, that's good to hear!" He said with a smile, hiding away his anxiety. He'd just be annoying like that...

Finishing the one pancake he took, Aras glanced at his boyfriend and offered him a warm smile... he was rater curious as to why the man always seemed so fidgety.... Moving a bit closer to him, he gently put his arms around the slightly bigger man, and held him rather close... "Hey... don't worry. I'm not going to be mean or anything to you, you shouldn't be so scared around me, y'know? I wouldn't purposely intend to do you harm... it makes me kind of sad..."

John blinked at the sudden affection, unsure of what to do as he stared at his lap with a red face. The raven shook his head at what he heard, smiling a bit nervously. "S-Sorry..." He murmured out, his body a bit tense. It wasn't all that easy to suddenly be in a relationship after years of being that socially awkward... "I, um... Excuse me." He quickly said as he stood up and walked out into the bathroom with a quick pace. He couldn't take it like that... John bit down on his lower lip as he washed his face with cold water, then put his glasses back on. Did he hurt Aras by doing this?.. God, he hoped not...

Aras sighed when the other left like that. It hurt, yeah, he felt rejection, yeah, but there was nothing that could really be done. The German man sighed softly as he laid down on the couch. He wasn't really up for the idea of eating another pancake... he already felt full, actually, which was weird, even for him... He usually tended to eat two or three, and eating just one felt kind of weird. Rubbing his forehead with a sigh, he closed his eyes again. He was working a late shift again tonight, and then after his shift, he was going to bring John out to eat... well, if they were still going by the plans that they had made last night.

John stayed in the bathroom for a few minutes before timidly coming back into the living room. He seemed somewhat ashamed, truly. Quietly, he sat back down on the couch and shyly glanced up at Aras. "S-Sorry..." The raven murmured out before taking another pancake. He still felt a bit hungry... Seeing as he ate more than others in general, his breakfast had to be nice. The man didn't dare to say anything more after that - he was both embarrassed and scared, a bit. Social interactions were hard... He really, really wished Aras could go through it with him...

Aras sighed.... he didn't really know what he had to say at this point to make anything better. Sitting with the other, he remained silent, unsure of what to say or do, not wanting to upset the other, but also not wanting to make him feel lonely. He had never met more of a socially-awkward man in his life... he wanted to make him feel better, but he just didn't really know how to. Bringing his knees up to his chest, he wrapped his arms around his legs and sighed.

John bit down on his lower lip as he glanced at Aras once again, his expression timid. "A-Aras...?" He called out quietly, his voice soft. The raven looked down again as he continued eating, then took his coffee and quietly began drinking it. His eyes soon closed as the silence began feeling as if it would crush him. He didn't like silence at all. He always felt like he was guilty for it... For silence like this one, that is. There were soothing silences, but not this one.

Aras sipped his coffee quietly as the other called his name. His dark blue eyes narrowed the slightest bit as he glanced at the other. Pulling the mug away from his lips, he let out a rather soft sigh and murmured, "Yeah, John?" He placed the mug back on the table and licked his lips softly. The coffee tasted delicious, really, he enjoyed the rich, sweet flavor that the caramel gave it. Placing his feet back onto the floor, he stretched, cracking his back the slightest bit with a relieved huff.

John let out a quiet, shaky sigh as he stared at the dark brown color of the coffee. "I-I'm sorry..." He apologized quietly, looking a bit guilty. He truly had no idea what else he could say, or do. Nor did he know why would Aras want to be in that kind of a relationship with him... He was too awkward for that. All that he was good for was cooking, cleaning and gardening. He couldn't make normal friends, and he couldn't even start a proper conversation without fucking something up.

Aras sighed softly and placed the mug on the table, glancing at the adorably chubby man. Running a hand through his own hair, he stood up, and walked over to the other. Why was this man so hesitant in actions and words? He wasn't going to critique him or anything... letting out a rather small noise, he wrapped his arms around the other, almost expecting the other to not hug back or just push him away, "Stop saying sorry, silly. You're not doing anything wrong..."

John flinched the slightest bit when he heard Aras stand up. He didn't dare even look at him now... But, he was certainly surprised when he was hugged. A bit hesitantly, he brought his own arms around the thinner male and hugged back gently, slowly hiding his face into the other's shoulder. It just... Felt right. "I thought you were angry at me..." He muttered out in response, his voice a bit shaky and quiet. The raven sniffled softly, holding his new boyfriend loosely to himself.

Aras chuckled softly as the other began to sniffle, "Hey cutie...there's not need to cry..." The german man rubbed the other's hair gently with his rather long fingers, a small smile laced on his lips as he gently began to rub circles in is hair, a bored sigh coming from his lips as he brought the man a bit closer, enjoying the warmth that his boyfriend gave off.. he was rather happy that the other wasn't trying to pull away...

A small pout formed on Jonh's lips as he lightly shook his head, still hiding his face. "I'm not crying..." He argued quietly, his arms tightening around Aras' body a bit. He didn't dare pull away, it seemed. The raven just held his boyfriend to his chubby body, lightly leaning into the soft touch on his hair. That really felt nice... A quiet, content sigh left his mouth as his eyes closed and he seemed to begin to slowly relax.

Aras smiled softly. He felt rather successful... he managed to calm the other down, it seemed. Massaging the other's scalp with lithe, gentle touches, the German man inhaled the clean, fresh, yet sweet scent of John with a relaxed expression. "See dear... there's nothing to be worried about..." His voice held a calmness to it. He didn't want to panic the other easily... he was going to move slowly in the ways he progressed with their relationship. He could already tell that working up to a kiss was probably going to be rather difficult... maybe he'd start off with something simply, like cuddling. Yeah...John semed like he would be a bit of a cuddler, and comfy to snuggle up to on cold nights. Aras felt proud that his boyfriend wasn't faltering, and getting nervous... his boyfriend was a cutie who just needed to be taught how beautiful he really was.

John pulled back a little bit, glancing up at the other with timid eyes. He bit on his lip a bit before gently pulling Aras towards himself, so he was basically sitting on his lap. His cheeks were colored a cute pink rosy color as he glanced away a bit. "Why are you so nice to me?" He finally asked, still unsure, for some reason. The raven looked back up into the other's eyes, his arms tightening a bit around his waist. Could he really, really trust this guy?... If this turned out as some nasty joke, he probably wouldn't trust anyone again. Ever.

When the other pulled him closer, to the point where he was basically sitting on his lap, Aras smiled softly, a rosy hue tinting his cheeks as he murmured, "Yo already asked me this, cutie...and it's going to be the same answer I gave you before...I think...well, I like you, and you deserve kindness...you're a nice person who deserves respect, just like everyone else does, silly." He gently brushed his nose against the other's, giving him an "eskimo kiss", which was just rubbing your nose against someone else's. Aras' big blue eyes were warm, and rather... sincere, as he drew his nose away from the other's and rested his head on one of his big shoulders, inhaling heavily, and letting out a rather small yawn.

John's blush brightened a bit as he huffed softly, looking away. "Why do you call me that way?" He mumbled out the question softly, looking up at the other as he was given the eskimo kiss. The raven couldn't help a silly smile on his face at that as he looked away shyly. "Well, uhm... O-Okay, fine." He finally said, hugging Aras to himself with a soft smile. He began lightly stroking his waist - it was probably barely felt for the other anyway. His eyes closed after a bit as he bit on his lip and let out a quiet sigh. "S-So... What now? Sh-Should we... Like... Move in together...?" He asked timidly, unsure of if that was to happen or not.

"Because you're the cutest man I ever laid eyes on. That's why I call you "cutie"." chuckled Aras softly as he let the other embrace him, hugging him back in return, closing his eyes softly. What the other was doing to his waist... felt rather nice, actually. It was relaxing. Though, when he heard the other's question, he was thoroughly surprised, "U-Um...move in together? S-Sure! I mean... we can if you want to!" The German man suggested this, a fark scarlet blush on his cheeks... so the other wanted to take their relationship further? He was happy with the progress.

John's cheeks now seriously flushed completely red as he stared nervously away, into a wall. He was cute? The cutest man Aras had layed his eyes on? When the other sounded a bit confused about his suggestion, he felt anxiety seeping back in. "A-Ah we don't have to, I just... It was just a stupid idea..." He trailed off, suddenly hiding his face into Aras' shoulder. There went his confidence and calmness... He wasn't even sure why he offered that... He had no clue how relationships even worked!

Aras could feel tension starting to seep back into the room, and that made him feel a bit uneasy. "No! No! Don't worry John! That was actually a good idea... a lot of people tend to move in together once they're in a relationship... I don't really see the big problem. I'd love to live with you! Though I'm not sure if your cat is going to like my cat and puppy all that much..." There was a soft blush on his cheeks before he lightly pressed a kiss to the other's cheek... it was a rather soft gesture. Sighing, he murmured, "Don't be sorry, you have great ideas."

John let out a quiet, shaky sigh as he timidly lifted his head up to glance at Aras. Once he received the kiss to the cheek, however, his face flushed red and he hid his face back into the other's shoulder in embarrassment. "O-Okay..." He muttered out softly, still hugging Aras to himself. He kind of liked this... Hugging the other like this, sharing their warmth. It felt really nice! "My kitty really won't mind anything..." He added softly, still too embarrassed to look up.

Aras sighed softly as the other buried his face into his shoulder. Lifting a hand, he began to run his long, thin fingers through the others' rather soft hair, gently massaging the other's scalp as he closed his eyes, relaxing against the other, "Mhm...I hope our pets will get along...when should we move in together though?" Questioned the German with a content voice, his voice sounding a little bit drained... he still felt a bit tired.

John sighed rather contently as Aras began running his fingers through his still slightly damp hair. The raven leaned into his touch a bit, his eyes closed as he began relaxing again. "Whenever you want..." He replied quietly, gently rubbing small circles into his waist. He was kind of like a cat himself... Pet him in the right way and he slowly relaxed.

Aras placed a small kiss on the side of the other's head, on his temple to be exact. His boyfriend was so cute... "You're perfect.. just like a kitty cat... cute, and fun to pet..." He yawned tiredly as he rubbed one of his eyes, "Hmm...can um... you and I cuddle tonight after I take you out for dinner?" He asked this with a soft smile, yet a bit of nervousness in his eyes.
