John couldn't help but blush at the compliment he received. Or, at least he thought it was a compliment. "A cat?..." He questioned softly before letting out a shy smile. His cheeks flushed a brighter red at the question after that. "U-Uhm... I-I'll really go with whatever y-you want..." He murmured softly, hugging Aras closely to himself.

"Well, yeah, I'd call you a cat... you're cute, a bit anti-social, and you only seem to interact with certain people." said Aras as if it were simple. He wouldn't be able to compare him to a dog; they were smelly, loud, and obnoxious. He couldn't compare him to a fish; they were kind of...slow. And he couldn't compare him to a rodent...mostly due to the fact hat he wasn't energetic or rambunctious. Letting out a small sigh, Aras ran his fingers over the other's cheek... the skin was quite soft there, actually.

"Y'know, John... we don't have to do anything that you're not comfortable with." Aras didn't want to push anything on him.. that would push him further and further away from his goal of getting him to have more self-confidence and being more open. "Also... what do you want to go out for tonight? Well... what type of food do you like, actually? Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Greek...?"

As Aras explained why John was like a cat, he could only nod a bit. The man looked away slightly, deciding to just stay quiet about it. He didn't know what he could say... It was kind of true, he guessed. His head shot up the moment he heard his boyfriend speak again. "N-No, moving in is fine!" He immediately said - a bit too fast, actually. He ended up with a red face while biting his lip. He screwed too many things up... "I-I mean... You moved in here recently, right? Y-You should move in here..." He trailed off, scared he sounded bad, or said something he wasn't supposed to say. The raven gulped down nervously at the question and shook his head. "I, um... I actually like Chinese food..." He admitted softly.

"Okay...moving in sounds fine... as long as you're sure that you're comfortable with it." sighed Aras quietly as he ran his hand through his hair again. He could get used to sitting like this with the other.. it was actually quite comfortable. The other was like a firm, yet soft cushion at the same time. Moving a bit forward in the others' lap, he let out a rather small huff and nuzzled his nose into the other's collarbone. "Ah...okay. We can go to a Chinese buffet tonight... it you want to. I'll pay." He wanted to bring the other out on a date, and he had mentioned it last night to the other... he just wasn't sure then what the other liked. He felt sort of relieved, actually, that he now knew about what he liked... he was curious about a lot of things that the other liked... he felt weird for asking him out and not even knowing the basics of what he liked...

John nodded slightly, forcing out a small smile. "It's fine, I... I really don't mind if you live here..." He said softly, closing his eyes slowly. His cheeks stayed the same color as Aras nuzzled his nose into his collarbone - that felt kind of ticklish... God, John was extremely ticklish. His eyes shot open at what he heard next and he shook his head quickly. "No, I'll pay for myself, at least!" He said, a bit more firmly than he usually talked. He hated when people payed for him... He always felt in debt later. The raven nibbled on his lower lip as he glanced away. "Um... S-So... What food do you like, then?"

"I'd feel guilty if you payed for your meal..I want to take you out on a date, so you don't have to worry about paying or anything...but I won't force you to let me pay for your meal if that's really what you want." Aras said this quietly as he inhaled the other's scent, his eyes closed... he was obviously relaxed. He needed more days like these, when he could just stay calm and get the rest that he needed. "Me? Personally, I enjoy Greek and Chinese food...those are always the best..." murmured Aras rather quietly.

John shook his head quietly and let out a quiet sigh. "I don't like it when people pay for me..." He said softly, remembering the time he refused to let Aras pay for him at the shop. The raven hugged his boyfriend softly to himself, gently stroking his waist. "A-Ah... So we both like Chinese food then!" He said a bit nervously. "Do you like the... The fruits with caramel?" He asked quietly, his cheeks a bit rosy. Those were his favorites...

A soft blush tinted his cheeks as the other rubbed circling in his waist... it felt really good, surprisingly. Chuckling softly when he heard the other's question, he murmured, "Yeah, those taste pretty good actually, they're nice and sweet...you're talking about lychee berries, correct? The pink little orbs in the sweet sauce? Or are you talking about those orange squares that have the syrup on them that taste like peaches?" There were a lot of different fruits with syrups on them... he was curious as to which specifically the other fancied.

John blinked, confusion showing in his eyes as he pulled back a bit to look at Aras and shook his head. "No... The caramel is hard on them... It's, uh... Apples, bannanas... I think... They're just small pieces of fruits with a layer of caramel on it." He tried to explain before letting out a sigh and shaking his head. "Nevermind..." He mumbled out and hid his face into his boyfriend's shoulder. He couldn't even explain a food properly - was he good for anything?

Aras blushed vividly when he was told that his guess was wrong... "I-I'm sorry for not knowing what you were talking about. I actually have no clue what you're talking about then...I've had whole caramel apples, though not small, tiny pieces of them..." admitted the German quietly as he let out a low huff, and murmured, "It's better if you explain it to me, so I know whether or not I should try it... if it's really all that yummy, you can have me try it when we go there."

John shook his head quietly as he pulled back and let out a small, shy smile. "I-It's fine..." He murmured softly, his eyes warm. "I mean... The fruits inside are basically cooked, and soft, and... The caramel is solid, sometimes with sesame seeds... They're really good!" The raven said with his smile widening. "We can just get a big plate of them, and we'll share... Okay?" He asked softly, his cheeks a cute pink color.

"Hmm...that sounds pretty tasty! I wouldn't mind sharing a plate with you." Aras chuckled softly, nuzzling the tip of his nose into the other's collarbone gently, before pulling back a bit and looking at his face... John had a really cute face, especially when he blushed. Blushing a rosy hue himself, Aras pressed a hand on the back of his own neck and rubbed it, murmuring, "You're...really cute when you blush..."

John smiled softly as he nodded, letting out a quiet breath when Aras nuzzled his nose into his collarbone. That tickled... The raven blinked a few times as the other pulled away and... His whole face flushed red at what he heard next. "W-Wha...?" He murmured out, his face almost like on fire. That was definitely an embarrassing thing to hear... The man looked away nervously, nibbling on his lower lip. He didn't know what to say!

"I said that you're cute when you blush... you remind me of a cuddly teddy-bear that I used to sleep with every night when I was younger..." murmured Aras quietly as he cocked his head at the other. Why was he so nervous about that? He was just so cute... he wanted him to recognize that... though he knew that it would take awhile. Sighing softly, he pressed his face into the crook of the other's neck softly, closing his eyes once more.

John just stared at Aras in disbelief, even his ears red from the embarrassment. "U-Uhm..." He wasn't sure how he felt about this. "Um... Thanks... I guess..." He finally murmured out and hesitantly placed a hand on Aras' head when he buried his face into the crook of his neck. The raven bit his lip as he began gently playing with his hair, his expression nervous.

"No problem, cutie." murmured Aras with a huff, inhaling deeply as he quietly asked, "Well...I have work later... do you have work today? If not, want to do something together until I have to go to work" The question was kind-hearted, and didn't have an aggressiveness attached to it. He just wanted to have a nice time with John, nothing more, nothing less. He wasn't going to push him to do anything that he didn't want to either...

John shook his head with a small, timid smile on his face. "N-No, it's a free day for me..." He said softly, looking away for a moment. "Um... What do you want to do?" The raven asked quietly as he looked up at his boyfriend with a shy smile. He didn't know what they could do as a couple - he didn't even know too well what happened on dates. All he knew was from television, and... It wasn't anything to really trust a lot.

"I don't know what I want use to do actually... maybe we can go take a walk through the park, or go to the library together? Or maybe we can watch another movie together..." offered Aras, trying to think of as many ideas as he could think of... he wanted to give the other a lot of options, so it didn't seem like he was trying to sway the activities to something completely different. "Hmm... is there anything particular that you want to do, cutie?" He didn't really say "John" when he spoke to him... it sounded rather brash when he said it, given it sounded like it came from his gut.

John listened quietly to all of the ideas, nibbling on his lip quietly as he did. He didn't really want to go to a library... And he didn't want to go to the park. Honestly, he just wanted to stay home. "Um... Let's just watch a movie." He said softly with a small smile. The raven shifted a bit to make Aras a bit more comfortable on his lap. "Uh... A-Are you comfortable like this?..." He asked quietly, his cheeks still red.

"Hmm...I'm fine with stay here ... and exactly like that..." purred Aras softly and nuzzled his cheek against the other's rather softly before resting his head gently in the crook of his neck. This was a rather comfortable position to be in... and it was actually quite lovely. It was intimate, yet no too intimate... as weird as that sounded. It was comfortable enough where there wouldn't be awkward feelings about it... "What movie do you want to watch?"

John smiled softly when he heard the answer and, with some courage, gently combed his fingers through the other's hair. "It's so soft..." He muttered out with a small, shy smile. The raven then placed his hands back on the other's waist, gently holding him. "Huh? I really don't care... I... We can watch whatever I have..." The man said in a soft voice, his smile gentle.

Aras laughed softly into the other's shoulder at the comment that he made about his hair.. the other really had the sweetest things to say to him... Inhaling deeply, he murmured, "You smell really nice... what type of body wash do you use? It's fantastic..." He noticed the scent earlier... and it made him want to nestle closer to the other. "Oh..and um... we can watch whatever movie you want to! I'm really bad at picking out movies to watch..."

John blinked a few times as the other laughed, his self-esteem dropping instantly. Did he say something wrong? A quiet sigh left his mouth as he looked away at the question. "It's strawberry-scented." He muttered out quietly. Did Aras really find it that funny when he complimented his hair?... The raven felt himself sinking back into his anxiety as he sighed and looked down. "Okay." He murmured out quietly.

Aras sighed softly as he glanced at the other, a small pout forming on his lips. What did he say or do wrong now this time? Glancing off at the other direction, the German man nearly wanted to scream at him, or tell him to stop getting so down on himself... but he didn't. With a huff, he said, "Did I say something wrong again? I'm sorry...I can go home if you like if I'm bothering you so much..." He glanced away at the floor, a bit of hurt in his eyes. What was the point in even staying around for too long if the other was going to act like this? "I can give you some time alone if you want if I'm really bothering you..."

John looked up at Aras quietly, a small frown on his face. "You... You laughed when I said your hair was soft..." He mumbled out, unable to understand why Aras was the one with hurt in his eyes. He was the one who laughed! "If you find it so funny then I won't say it anymore..." The raven said quietly, his arms loosening up around his boyfriend. "If you want to leave, you can go... But... I don't want you to.." He finally admitted, still looking away from the man.
