Personality: Nether can come off as cold and uncaring but he's far from that. When he gets to know someone he becomes a huge softie. Though he might deny it later.

 

Bio: Nether doesn't remember much of his life. The only thing he knows is that he's the ruler of the underworld and is feared by most gods. But he remembers vaguely having a sister, but for all he knows, she could be dead. Well, that's what he believes.

Personality: He can be seen as mean, but that's for people that he doesn't take an interest in. He likes to tease people that he likes. He comes from a rich family so he can be a little arrogant and thinks that he can get anything with money.

 

Bio: He has always been popular since he was a little child. His family is rich and he's the only child, so he was pretty much spoiled rotten. People are drawn to him by his looks and money so he is never short on partners, male or female.

In a world far away from our own, galaxies away, lie the heavens. A world filled with gods and goddesses alike. But, were there is good, there lays evil. Below said heavens, is the underworld. Also known as the Nether world. There, is were the demons and the gods of darkness resign. The gods of the heavens and the demons below have never cross paths. And if they do, it always ends in death. But today, they have to set aside their differences to stop a new enemy.

Back in heaven, the gods are having and uproar in the Court of Truth. In the past three days, fifty worlds and two galaxies have been destroyed and over taken by rogue demons. A woman, at the head of the court, with long blonde hair that reaches to her back listens as the rest gods argue.

"Why should we even send one of our best warriors to a quest that they only have a slim chance of surviving?!" Asked a man with a long red beard and the hair to match. He was outraged that anyone would even think of sending a warrior of light to fend off demons from a lower race. "If you ask me, we should let whoever is doing this continue. We can always make more worlds. Think of it as starting anew."

But that statement sent the court into more of an uproar. One side saying how it was wrong to let these innocent creatures fend for themselves. While the other side thinks that they should be more worried about their own world. The whole time the All Mother watches with a disappointing look to her fellow gods and goddesses. She let out a suffering sigh as the argument continued. She knew that this wasn't going to get them anywhere, at this rate, even more worlds and galaxies were going to be destroyed if they didn't come to a compromise. Before she could silence them, the doors to the court open with a loud creek.

The gods quickly quieted down, staring at the figure with shock and disgust. Said stranger walked into the court with confidence in his step. He wore a long black leather coat and pants complete with combat boots. When he got to the front of the court, he gave his regards to the All mother. Bowing at her presences.

"What are you doing here demon?" The red headed man from before asked. Showing freely at how disgusted he is with said demon being in the court of heavens. "Shouldn't you be crawling around back in your pit of fire you call home?"

The demon let out an irritated huff and turned to the man. His facial expression showing how pissed he was about the whole situation. "Shouldn't you be stopping the demon that's killing the innocent Nora?" The dark demigod then gave Nora an anything but innocent smile. Showing off rows and rows of shark like teeth.

Nora's face filled with rage from how cocky the demon was being. Before the man could snap at him, the All Mother raised her hand to silence him before speaking to the demon. "What is it that you desire Nether?" The demon moved his gaze towards the goddess, smiling at her politely. "well, since these so called 'warriors' of yours aren't going to go after the rogue demon, I will."

The court went back into a uproar at that. Yelling about how they believed he was the one doing this, or how why they should trust the god of the underworld. At all the comments, Nether just rolled his eyes, continuing his conversation with the All Mother.

"It's either send a god that knows how to deal with demon with a thirst for world domination, or, send someone who is going blindly into battle."

At that the All Mother thought for a second. The demon does have a point, he knows how to kill his own kind quickly and officially with minimum damage to the innocent. Not only that, it would form an alliance with the gods of darkness and the gods of light. With that thought the All Mother nodded with a satisfied smile. "I accept your request young Nether." The court looked to her in outrage but know better than to question her. Nether smiled in triumph and nodded his thank you. "The next world the demons are headed to is one known as Earth," the goddess explained, getting up from her seat and moving towards the demon, "You must go there to stop the rogue demons from taking over the planet. But you are going to need help."

The demon gave her a questioning look but said nothing of it, knowing she would explain herself. "There is a human there with a spark. A spark that gives him god like powers when next to any deity. You, my dear Nether, will be that deity."

The All Mother took a necklace from around her neck and gave it to Nether, making him wear it. "This will send you straight to them. And to send you back if the quest is complete or if you kill an innocent. Is that clear?"

Nether nodded is understanding, examining the necklace around his neck with interest. The necklace had a gold chain and a golden locket to match. It practically glowed in his hand. The All Mother smiled and put her hand to his forehead, startling the young god. "Also, I will give you a glamour to hide your more....demonic features." She gestured to the horns and pointed ears with hear head, "Good luck Nether." The demon let out a huff and frowned. "I don't need luck."

The All Mother just smiled kindly and sent him on his way, his body traveling through space at lightening speed. After a moment, he landed on the ground with a loud thud. The travel and landing draining the energy from his body, knocking him out. The rain beating him with no mercy.

Ryuu was sitting at his schools library reading a book about Shakespeare. He wasn't sitting in the library because he liked books, he was waiting for the people that he called ''overly attached'' to leave so that he could go home without being suddenly attacked from behind. These ''overly attached'' people were really desperate that they tried to kidnap him, bribe him or drug him and there is many other crazy things that these ''overly attached'' people have done to him.

Ryuu looked outside from the window that was at the table where he was sitting. He hadn't noticed that it had started to rain, the rain was slowly moving downwards on the window. The world looks somewhat sad and depressing when it's raining, he thought.

Ryuu looked at his rolex clock, it showed 6.47 pm. He hadn't noticed that he had been in the library over an hour. It was time to go home, he was sure that everyone had already left and gone home. He started searching for his umbrella. After a while of rummaging trough his bag he finally found what he was looking for. He went to the shelf where he had taken the book from. He put it back and started walking towards the door. He opened it and closed it behind him. He walked down the stair that led to the main door. He was just going to open the door when he felt how someone grabbed him by the hand. He looked who it was and to his surprise it was the king of the ''overly attached'' people. Ryuu sighed, he thought that everybody had already left, but apparently this guy was the only one that stayed behind. His name was Seiji, he hasn't been able to accept the fact that Ryuu had broken up with him.

''Can you please let go'', he asked Seiji and looked at him with an expression that showed that he wasn't liking this at all.

''I won't let go!'', Seiji said while he was clinging to Ryuus hand like his life depended on it.

''Seiji let go, I don't have the time to play with you'', Ryuu said while trying to get Seiji to let go of his hand.

Finally he got Seiji to let his hand go. He opened the door and then opened his umbrella.

He walked to the gate and turned left, He didn't have a long way home so he usually just walked to school.

As he neared his apartment complex he heard a loud thud. As he turned around the corner he saw somebody lying on the ground right before his apartment complex.

It's probably just someone that had too much to drink and simply passed out.

He walked past the guy and thought that he didn't have to concern himself with this guy.

Although thinking that he took a few steps back and knelt down and carefully poked the guy to see if he would get a response. Ryuu waited a while but he got no response. He dragged the man to his apartments door, he opened the door carried the man in. He carried the man to the bedroom and laid the man his bed. He looked and the man and saw that he looked foreign, the man actually looked like he wasn't from this world at all. Ryuu went over to his closet and grabbed a shirt and sweat pants. He stripped the man of his clothing. He put the dry clothes on the man and then he hanged the wet clothes in the bathroom to dry. He went to the door and closed it properly and the he went to kitchen to cook something for him and the man.

The demon slowly woke up, groaning from the headache he had gotten from the fall. God...what happen? He remembered traveling to this dirt ball of a planet but he barely remembers landing. Gingerly, he sat up, taking in his surroundings with a frown. It looks like I'm in a chamber of some kind. He looked down, seeing that his clothes was taken and replaced. Rage burning inside him like a fire. He was disgusted that a mere human had just touched him. Not only that, it seemed that they took him to their living quarters. With a snarl, Nether moved the covers and hopped out of bed. Landing on his feet with a slight wobble. He knew that he couldn't kill any humans because of the agreement he had with the All Mother. But she didn't say anything about scaring them.

When he was able to right his self, he slowly walked towards the door of the bedroom. Listening for any movement. He heard a couple noises coming a little bit away from the bedroom. Nether scratched his head in thought and immediately jolted in shock. He had forgotten the glamour that was put on him to cover his horns and ears. He sighed irritably and slammed the door open with a loud bang.

He eyed the apartment with a frown, the place was low to his standards. When he spotted the human in the kitchen his frown turned into a glare. Little did the demigod know, that the necklace he was wearing was glowing more. It was almost blinding. "Who are you, mortal?" he called out, getting into a defensive stance just in case the human try to attack. He didn't trust this human or any for that matter. From what the demon's heard, the can turn on each other so easily and fell no shame.

But of course they were just rumors, yet you never know. Nether eyed what the human was doing, smelling something delicious. He hadn't ate anything for a while. Since he was cleaning up the mess the rogue demons left in his underworld. His stomach let out a growl of hunger, demanding him to just ignore the human and go straight towards that heavenly smell.

The bedroom door flew open with a bang and Ryuu saw the man come out. He saw that the man was frowning and how he eyed the apartment. When the man noticed the Ryuu his frown turned into a glare. The man asked me after a while ''Who are you, mortal?'' and went into defensive pose. Is he afraid of me, he's kinda weird, he thought and let out a chuckle.

Ryuu told the man his name but the man didn't hear anything when he was so deep in thought. Ryuu turned back to the soup he was making. Suddenly he heard how the mans stomach let out a growl. Someone is hungry.

The man walked straight towards the soup and asked ''Human, what is this?''.

''This is called soup, have you never heard of it?'', Ryuu was thinking that this man could be some heir to a big company and never has eaten anything besides some high class chefs cooking, his family was also rich but his mother liked cooking so his meals were always done by his mother.

''I have never even heard of this so called soup'', the man said while looking at the soup with his stomach growling.

Ryuu took two bowls out of the cabinet that was above the stove. He filled the bowls with soup and then put them on the table that was a few meters away. The man sat down at one of the bowls. He was about to drink the soup but Ryuu luckily got him to stop and said that the soup is meant to be eaten with a spoon.

''A spoon?'', the man said while frowning.

''I'll get us spoons so wait a while''. Ryuu went and took two spoons of the top drawer in the kitchen.

He gave the man a spoon and sat himself next to the man. The man immediately started eating and soon he asked for more. Ryuu stood up and went to put some more soup in his bowl. He turned towards the table and saw the man was swaying and looked like he was freezing. He probably got a fever. He placed the in front of the man and asked ''Can you still eat?''. The man looked at him and said ''Of course''.

The man ate his second bowl and after that he stood up, but then he lost his balance. Luckily Ryuu was in front of the man and catched him before he could hit the floor.

The demon snarled when the human touched him "Don't touch me swine!" he yelled, pushing Ryuu away. The demigod knew that the human was just helping but he still doesn't trust him. He winced when he saw a bright light coming from his necklace. He stared at it with a confused look, looking from the necklace to the human and than back again. Finally, he put two and two together. "Seriously? It's this human?" he muttered to himself, glaring in thought. He couldn't believe it's this human, yes he was kind to the god but Nether doesn't trust kindness.

After a moment of glaring at the necklace, he let out a long suffering sigh and looked at the human. "I guess I should explain why I'm here." Nether straightened his posture slightly, looking at the human with a bored look. "You see, I'm here to help save this planet from destruction. The All Mother sent me to you because you have a spark that no other human has." He let out a sigh, trying to see if the human believes him or not.

"So, you and I must help each other to stop the rogue demons from taking over your world and others." Nether highly doubted that Ryuu would believe him but he'll just wait and see. He started to feel dizzy, shivering ever so slightly. He staggered over towards the couch, slumping down on it with a grunt. What's wrong with me? Why am I so dizzy?The demon groaned from the room spinning around him, putting his head in his hands. "Human, do you know what's wrong with me?"

He looked over to the human with a glare, the demon thinks he must of caught something from the Ryuu mortal. Even though he looked perfectly healthy. It must be from the dirt ball of a planet. I'm starting to regret this decision. The demigod didn't know how long he would have to stay with this mortal. From what he thinks, it could be a couple months. As soon as I find the god behind this, I'm going to strangle him. He thought darkly.

When Ryuu touched the man, he immediately yelled ''Don't touch me swine'' and pushed Ryuu away.

Ryuu noticed that the mans necklace imitated a bright light. The man stared at the necklace and then he looked at Ryuu, then back again to the necklace. He heard the man mutter something but couldn't figure out what he said.

After a while the man let out a sigh and looked at Ryuu.

"I guess I should explain why I'm here.", the man said and straightened his posture, after that he continued and said

"You see, I'm here to help save this planet from destruction. The All Mother sent me to you because you have a spark that no other human has."

I have spark that other humans don't have... This guy is definitely weird.

Suddenly the man staggered over to the sofa and sat down, he put his head in his hands, the man didn't look like he wasn't feeling so well.

The man groaned and asked ''Human, do you know what's wrong with me?''

He probably got got sick, after being in the rain

Ryuu went over to the man and put one hand on the mans forehead and the other on his own.

The man was burning up and probably had a high fever.

Without asking Ryuu picked the man up and carried him to the bedroom.

He gently laid him down on the bed and pulled the blanket over him.

''I'll go get some medicine to help you with the fever, so you should just lie there in bed and not move a muscle''

Ryuu closed the door to the bedroom and started searching for something that could help the man with his fever.

When the human picked him up, he started to cuss black and blue. Not happy about being picked up or touched for that matter. But his energy soon drained from the struggle of trying to be put down. He slumped in defeat, glaring at Ryuu the whole time as they made their way back to the bedroom. "I'll go get some medicine to help you with the fever, so you should lie in bed and not move a muscle." The human said, walking out of the bedroom. Nether's glare increased, snarling at the door. Stupid human, trying to tell me what to do, he thought. He slowly sat up, rolling the sleeve to the shirt up. He wanted to make sure that no demons knew where they were.

He moved his wrist to his mouth, biting down on it. Wincing from the pain, he moved the wrist from his mouth, examining the blood. After a moment, it looked as though it was going to stay a crimson red color. But then it turned a dark black color, the wound healing as His eyes widen. "Shit!" he exclaimed, jumping out of the bed. Unfortunately, he tripped over the covers, falling down with a loud thud. "Stupid humans, stupid dizziness." He mumbled to his self, slowly getting up. Using the bed to help steady himself.

"Ryuu human!" He called out, dragging his body towards the door. The rogue demon was close, too close from how dark his blood got. He needed to warn the mortal and quickly. The demigod wasn't sure that he could fight in the condition he was in. Why is everything spinning? Is this how humans see?

He finally made it to the door, pushing it open and falling flat on the floor. "Fucking hell...," The demon go on his hands and knees, trying to will the dizziness away. Gingerly, he lift his head, looking for the human. "Ryuu human we have a problem! get your mortal ass over here!"

Ryuu was searching for medicine to help the man with his fever.

He heard how the man called out for him, but he simply just ignored it and continued searching for medicine.

At the same time while he searching for medicine he wondered, where did this man come from, what kind of background does he have, does he have a job, is he violent, does he have any mental issues or something like that.

Ryuu noticed that he didn't have anything that would help the mans fever.

Should I go to the pharmacy and buy medicine for him?

Just as he thought that he heard how the bedroom door opened and saw the man fall flat on the floor.

The man got on his hands and knees, looking a little dizzy. He carefully lifted his head and Ryuu saw that he was lookig for him.

Suddenly the man shouted "Ryuu human we have a problem! get your mortal ass over here!".

Ryuu ran over to the man and said ''You shouldn't be moving, you have a fever, please go back to bed''.

Ryuu grabbed the mans arm and helped him to stand up.

He dragged him back to the bedroom and made him sit on the edge of the bed.

Ryuu sat himself next to the man and asked ''Is there something you wanted to tell me''

He looked at the man and was waiting to hear what the man would say.

Nether didn't complain this time when he was dragged back to the bedroom, his body drained from trying to open the door. When he was sat on the bed, he held is head. His vision blurring ever so slightly. He took a moment to calm down then looked over towards the human. "Demon...there's a demon near by. He's coming for you." He said in between breaths. Suddenly, he heard knocking at the front door. He got up on the bed and crouched, growling. "Human, don't answer the door." The dizziness caught up with him, making him wobble on the spot.

He hissed as he fell back on the bed, cursing the planet for giving him this weird sickness. If he survives this, he is never coming back to this damned world. Even if his life depended it. "Ryuu-human, I need you to go get my clothes and hand me my blade. now." He ordered, still wincing from his fever. He glared up at the human, blaming him for giving him this curse. The god knew there was no way a human could do such a think but still. He had to blame someone. And that someone happens to be the one sitting on the bed next to him.

Why do mortals have so many sicknesses? Is this world that dirty?!

Knocking continued, making the demigod growl louder. "GO GET MY BLADE HUMAN!!" He yelled, growing impatient. There was a rogue demon at the door, he was dizzy and could hardly stand, and this human was treating him like we was some weak creature. It was making him more and more pissed ever minute. He hated this, hated how he was weak at the moment because of this planet. Hated how this human treated him like he was fragile and hated that a rogue demon found them so suddenly.

He slowly go off the bed, deciding to go get his blade him self so he can protect the human. It's not like he wants to, it's just that he needs him for this mission. That's it. The pounding on the door continued, making Nether wish he had his demon form back, just so he could go and scare whoever it was away. He couldn't fight with this weird sickness in his body.

After a while the man said "Demon...there's a demon near by. He's coming for you."

As he said that someone knocked on the door. The man got up on the bed, growled and said "Human, don't answer the door."

What are these demons he's talking about? Are they some yakuza members that are after him for something he did?

The man ordered Ryuu to get his blade and clothes.

What blade? I don't remember seeing him with one when I picked him up.

The person that was at the door continued knocking on the door.

Ryuu looked at the man and saw that he was getting somewhat annoyed and then he yelled "GO GET MY BLADE HUMAN!!"

Ryuu didn't really understand what was going on but he was sure that it wouldn't be anything dangerous.

The man slowly got of the bed and headed towards the bathroom were his clothes was.

The person that was at the door was getting impatient and started knocking on the door more rapidly and harder.

Ryuu went to the door and opened the door. There wasn't no one dangerous or suspicious, just a delivery man.

I wonder why there's a delivery man, I haven't ordered anything that needed to be delivered...

Ryuu suddenly noticed the so called delivery mans shadow, the shadow had horns and pointy ears.

The man behind the door noticed what Ryuu was looking and then he suddenly grabbed him by the throat, he lifted Ryuu up so his feet didn't touch the ground.

Ryuu grabbed the mans hands and tried to loosen his grip, but it was no use the man was too strong.

He heard that the man came out from the bathroom and yelled ''Human, didn't I say not to open the door!''

Ryuu felt how his consciousness was fading away

I hope that I won't die tonight

The demon snarled when he saw the rogue demon choking the human. Didn't I tell that mortal not to open the door?!Nether ran over and tore the human from the vice like grip the rogue had on him. He set Ryuu on the couch and turned back to the other demon, growling at him in anger. This is seriously a problem for the demigod. Whoever is controlling them already knows about the human and him being here. The rogue just smirked, moving into the apartment. Closing and locking the door behind him. "Now," it said, "I want you to hand over your little friend there mortal. I promise I won't hurt you, yet." The god's growling grew even louder at the threat. How dare this useless demon talk to him in such a way. He took the blade from his hand a cut opened his hand, blood instantly dripping on the ground. After a moment, a two-sided scythe immerged from the pool of blood. Nether threw the blade away, grabbed his scythe and aimed it at the rogue.

"Who do you think you're giving orders to rogue?" he spat out, disgusted with the demon in front of him. The rogue's face was instantly overcome with fear. "Y-you're Nether!" the demon gasped out, curling in on his self. The demigod just growled and kicked him onto the ground. Hovering over him with the scythe to his neck. "Who sent you?!" Nether yelled, trying to figure out who is controlling them. The rogue below him just whimpered and shook his head, not giving the god an answer.

Nether knew he couldn't torture the answer out of him, he wasn't sure how the human would react to the. Or any human for that matter. With a annoyed sigh, he swung his scythe, cutting the rogue's head off with a clean cut. After a few minutes, the corpse turned to dust. The only evidence of him being the ash he left behind. The demon made his towards the couch were the human was, kneeling next to him. "Ryuu human?" he called out, shaking said human's body.

When he grew impatient, he punched the mortal in the arm, growling out his name. "RYUU HUMAN!!" I know he's still alive. Why won't this mortal wake up already? Nether was cursing the All Mother for making him partner up with such a weak being but he knew that the human was the only one that could help save his planet. Also because he didn't want to say such words to the All Mother. There's no way he could say that to her with getting smacked or scolded like a child. So he'll just have to suck it up and deal, no mater how much he just wants to leave this dirty dirt ball of a planet. Or just destroy it himself.

Ryuu carefully opened his eyes and looked around.

He was lying on the couch, he saw the man kneeling beside him.

''Human, you're awake!'', he yelled

''Yeah I'm awake, there's no need to yell'', Ryuu said while placing his hand on the mans cheek and giving him a smile.

Ryuu turned and groaned when a sharp pain came from his hand.

What happened to my arm?

''What happened here?'', he asked the man.

''A demon came and he tried to kill you'',said the man with a voice that said that he was annoyed.

Ryuu grabbed his throat and remembered how the man strangled him with inhuman strength.

I was strangled... That man definitely wasn't human.

''Ryuu human didn't I tell you NOT to open the door?''

''Yes you did, sorry that I didn't listen to you''

Ryuu almost forgot that the man had a fever and so he said ''You should go to bed and sleep''

He stood up from the couch and tried to get the man to the bedroom. The man pushed Ryuu away.

''What do you think you are doing human, don't touch me!''

Ryuu frowned and said ''You have a fever, I was just trying to get you to bed''

The man glared at him.

Ryuu sighed

This man is troublesome to deal with, why am I even offering him my bed?

He started walking towards the bedroom, when he was at the bedroom door he just simplay said to the man ''Do whatever you want, I'm tired so I'm going to sleep now''.

He said that and went into the bedroom and closed the door behind him.

Ryuu changed into his pajamas and crawled under the blanket and soon fell asleep.

Nether glared at the door after the human went inside his bedroom. After a couple seconds, the demon let out a sigh. The dizziness from earlier was back at full force. He frowned in thought, maybe he shouldn't yell at the human so much. The mortal was trying to help. The demigod shook his head at the thought and snarled. "Who cares? He shouldn't touch me with his filthy human hands!" he muttered to himself, flopping down on the couch. It wasn't as comfortable as the bed. It was a lot harder to say the less. But there was no way he was going to sharing a sleeping quarters with that Ryuu human. The demon shuttered at the thought. Yup, he wasn't going tot do that.

He decided to just sleep on the uncomfortable couch. He closed his eyes, trying to sleep. After about three minutes, he let out a frustrated growl and clawed the couch in annoyance. The demon couldn't sleep on this unholy thing. He got up and stomped towards the bedroom door, slamming it open and close. The god then flopped down on the bed, crawling over the human to the other side of the mattress. He went under the covers and sighed contently. "Don't say one word human, or I'll cut out your tongue and feed it to my three-headed dog." He muttered, yawing as he soon fell unconscious.

The next day, the demon woke up slowly. And what he found almost gave him a heart attack. He found himself cuddle up against Ryuu. A human. A mortal. The demon immediately froze up. Did he move towards the human in his sleep? No, there was no way he would do something like that. Maybe the human did it?Stupid touchy feely human. He growled softly but didn't move, he found that this was actually comfortable. But if the human woke up he was going to push him off. Well, that was his plan really.

Silent breathing was what Ryuu heard when he woke up.

He noticed that the man had cuddled himself against him.

Ryuu sat up and looked at the man.

He's cute when he's asleep

He chuckled and was about to climb out of the bed, when the man suddenly put his arms around Ryuus waist and mumbled ''Don't go''.

Ryuu ruffled the mans hair and softly said ''Don't worry, I won't go''

After an hour the man woke up and let go of Ryuus waist.

''Human, why was my arms around your waist'', the man asked with annoyance in his voice.

''I don't know, you suddenly grabbed my waist when I was trying to get out of bed and you also said -don't go-''

The man hit his arm and Ryuu groaned.

He got out of the bed and said ''I'll go make breakfast''

When he said that the mans stomach growled indicating he was hungry.

Ryuu smiled.

''What are you looking at, go make some food for me I'm hungry'', said the man with his stomach growling louder.

Ryuu let out a laugh and went to cook breakfast for him and the man.

The demon grumbled when the human laughed at him. Stupid human, laughing at his hunger. He stayed in bed for about ten minutes before he got bored. The demigod let out a groan and got up off the bed. The dizziness from yesterday was gone but now it was replaced by a headache. He staggered towards the door and opened it with a creak. He saw Ryuu in the kitchen and decided to sit down at the table. "Now do you believe me about the demon situation that your planet has?" the god asked, staring at the human as he was cooking.

Nether played with his necklace, staring at it as it glowed. He wondered if he could keep it after his quest was complete. "Also," he started, "I can't leave your side. You may have the spark, but you don't know how to use or control it." The demon didn't feel like having to worrying about the human every single day. Not like he cares about him really. Just doesn't want to hear the All Mother's mouth. Then he looked over at the human and glared. "And next time I say don't open the door mortal. Don't. Open. It."

The demigod was still kind of pissed that the mortal didn't listen. The Ryuu human almost got his self killed! So of course he was justified for being mad.

The man sat down at the table and lectured him about last night.

Ryuu placed the a plate with toast and scrambled eggs.

He sat down and said ''I'm sorry for last night''.

The man glared at him and started eating.

''By the way I still don't know your name, could you tell me?'', he asked the man who was devouring his food.

''My name is Nether'', he said while rubbing his forehead.

''Does your head hurt'', he asked Nether.

He just simply groaned and gave no answer.

Ryuu stood up and went to get him medicine.

As the human walked away, Nether began to poke at the scrambled eggs with distrust. He wasn't sure what this yellow-white substance was. He grabbed the toast and continued it as he thought. The demon knew training the Ryuu human will be very hard. And that he would have to fight on his own for a while until said human was ready. The demigod let out a frustrated sigh after he finished his toast. He rubbed at his temples, growling in annoyance. This uis going to be a long, frustrating mission. He picked up the spoon and poked the scrambled eggs again, still not quite trusting it. After a moment, he scooped some up and hesitantly put it in his mouth. Chewing the food, the demon deemed the weird contraption edible and wolfed it down. Not pausing to breathe. Three minutes later he was done with his breakfast. He picked up the plate and put in the sink before sitting back down at the table. Waiting for the mortal. Nether wondered were he went all of a sudden. Hopefully he went to go get something for this accursed headache. The god groaned and slammed his head on the table, making him groan even louder from the pain. He's starting to hate this planet and all who inhabit it. First he was dizzy and couldn't stand and now his head hurts. Like someone just slammed his skull in with a hammer.

"Ryuu human, you better be getting me a cure for this stupid head pain!" he called out. This was his nice way of saying please. To the demon, saying please shows weakness, and in no shape or form, was he weak. He rubbed at his head, trying to make the pain go away but with no success. Maybe after he killed all of the rogue demons he could destroy this planet himself. Just out of spite of their sicknesses. That could be plan b. The god snarled at the headache, "Ryuu human!! Hurry!!" It feels like his head is going to spontaneously combust.

Ryuu had brought Nether his medicine and was now at the sink preparing a glass of water. He went over to Nether gave him the pill and the water. Nether looked at him confused what to do.

''You put the tablet in your mouth, then you drink water and swallow it''

He glared at Ryuu and then swallowed the pill.

Ryuu sat down at the table and started eating his breakfast that he had left on the table. The food had already turned cold and didn't taste as good as it would when it was warm. Ryuu sighed while thinking about all what had happened, but there was one thing he was still thinking about and that's what happened after he fell unconscious. Ryuu looked at Nether and saw that his necklace was glowing again.

''Why does your necklace glow like that?'', he asked

The demon frowned and looked down at said necklace. "It glows when I'm near you I guess." he answered, shrugging it off as he watched the other eat. The pain in his head was slowly numbing. Letting out a sigh, he rest his head on his hands, continuing staring at the human. He wondered if the moral had anything to do today. That means the demon would have to follow him. He was sure that the death of that rogue demon would alert the others. The god groaned. Great, he would have to follow Ryuu around like a lost puppy or something. "Human," he started, "are you doing anything today?" Nether was really hoping he would say no. The demigod didn't want to go outside in the open were the demons will smell him. And that would be troublesome. He examined his nails with an annoyed expression, deep in thought. The demon would have to stay near the human's side for awhile. That is, until he can control his power. Which reminds him, "Also I would have to teach how to control your spark. Which isn't an easy task for a mortal."

He wasn't being mean by calling Ryuu weak, he was being truthful. In a extremely blunt way. "So be careful that you don't think of any dark thoughts when we train. It could darken the spark and turn you evil." he whispered, looking back up at the human.

After hearing everything that Nether explained, Ryuu was confused. He never believed in ghosts or anything supernatural. But he couldn't argue with the fact that he yesterday he was strangled by a man or if could call him a demon. That man couldn't have been human with that kind of strength, if the man would have been human then Ryuu would have easily got out of his grip. He was wondering about the spark that Nether told him about. What kind of powers did he possess? The best way of finding out was to ask Nether if he knew something about Ryuus powers.

''Nether, what do you know about the spark?''

Nether pouted in thought before answering the human. "Most of what i heard a theories or legends. But after a hundred years the gods finally understand the spark." He let ot a sigh and gave Ryuu a blank expression before continuing, "When a god dies, which is a rare accurance, their powers are transferred to a certain mortal that matches it. But that doesn't mean that mortal has to be good. Some with the spark us it for evil. Which are some of the most evil people in your human history." Nether then gave Ryuu a judging look. He never thought about looking into the human's soul. The demon concentrated on the glamour that was put on him, trying to make it slip so he can use his demon eyes. After a few tries, the demigod's eyes turned completely black. He looked at the mortal's heart, seeing that there was only a little dark in him. The black in his eyes faded away, the glamour back full force. "From what i could see, you're not an evil individual. But there is specks of darkness in your heart." The demon wondered why there was any there to begin with. The All Mother did say that he would go to the person who had the spark. He just assumed the mortal would be completely pure. Guess he was wrong. He looked over towards a clock, seeing that it was almost the afternoon. "Ryuu human, do you have to be anywhere today? I would have to accompany you." Nether said, annoyed with the thought of having to follow him around like a pet. He couldn't wait until the human could use the spark, then he wouldn't have to protect him. Stupid weak human. The demon growled softly before huffing in frustration. He was stuck with the Ryuu human for a minute, might as well make the best of it. Or at least threaten him a little less.

He realised that Nether didn't really know that much about his powers. He wasn't really sure should he believe this or not. But again the accident yesterday could be the proof that there are demons, that you have only read about in stories.

"From what i could see, you're not an evil individual. But there is specks of darkness in your heart.", he said suddenly.

Darkness in his heart? What was he talking about. Sudden talk about darkness made him think about what happened years ago, when he was still a little boy. He shook his head trying to forget that incident. Ryuu was asked by Nether if he had to go somewhere today and that he would have to accompany him. Today was Sunday so no school, but he would have to go buy food.

"I only have to go to the store today and buy us more food", he said.

Ryuu stood up and picked up the plates and their mugs.

He put them in the sink. He would do the dishes later. He went to the bedroom, changed his clothes and said to Nether that he should change his clothes, they would be going to the store now.

When the human told Nether that they had to go to the store, the god let out a long suffering sigh. He should've known that the human was going to have to do something. The demon got up and headed towards the bathroom for his clothes. He took off his shirt and put on his leather turtleneck half shirt. He then changed into his leather pants and combat boots before heading back towards the living room. Waiting for the human. He wondered what stores in this world would look like. And what type of things do they buy from this said store. This human his quite weird. He does like to laugh at me. Nether frowned at he thought. Why those this mortal laugh at him? More importantly, why is he helping him? A demon? Well, more of a god of the underworld. This Ryuu human trusts to easily.

"Ryuu human, hurry up!" he yelled, he wanted to get this over with. The demigod doesn't want to be in a crowd of humans a lot longer than he want. "Mortal!!" he called out again. Patients was not a virtue for him.
