Name: Quadron

Species: Dragon

Age: 600

Quadron sighed quietly as he jumped over a small fence. Today was boring as fuck. He had to go hunt today... And there didn't seem to be a single creature around. The dragon let out an annoyed huff, seeing as he was getting closer to the nymphs' terithory... That was how they lived. One big town divided into two parts. Dragons, such as himself, and nymphs... He hated nymphs. They were from water, so of course he would... Quadron grunted softly, suddenly stopping as he heard something. An animal? Finally!

With a wide smile on his face, the dragon began sneaking towards the source of the sound. His family was poor, they could barely afford the food... So he hunted for them. Suddenly, a huge boar ran out of the bushes, straight into Quadron. He wasn't too agile, so he got a harsh blow into his abdomen... The dragon hissed out in pain and roughly grabbed the boar, slamming him into the ground before hurriedly cutting its throat with his hunting knife. There, this should last for a few days. But... He couldn't get it back with the wound. Quadron sat down on the ground, leaning against the tree as he breathed out softly. He'd just rest a bit and then slowlt get home...

Name: Takua

Species: Nymph

Age: 550

Takua sighed in frustration. The raven clenched his fists by his sides, angrily strutting deeper into the forest. This particular forest has been kind of a safe spot for the prince, seeing as how barely anyone enters it. The reason for this is because it's the forest that borders both districts; the Nymph territory and the Dragon territory, so people were too scared to enterit. He didn't know why the two species hated each other so much. One could argue that the were of different elements, -fire and water-, but aren't people supposed to get over differences and get along with each other? Not a lot of people seem to think so.

This was actually the reason that Takua was angry right now. His father and him had another fight about the two races, causing him to run off once again. He was pretty much near the border of the Dragon district by the time he had finished his contemplating and stomping.

"Oh, didn't realize I went so far..." The Nymph said out loud to no body in particular, a habbit he had since he was a child. Takua spotted a clear river not too far away. Seeing the water, he didn't realize how thirsty he was. Since there was no body around, it wouldn't hurt to take a quick sip. He gracefully made his way over to the river and kneeled down near enough to have a quick drink, cupping his hands to scoop up some water. Ahh, this was nice...

Quadron's eyes shot open at the sound of someone's voice. Shit. It was faint, but he could hear it... It didn't seem familiar, however. A nymph? After all, this forest was free for both species to go into. This area was out of boundaries. With a quiet grunt slipping past his lips, the blond stood up, a hand on his abdomen. Just a simple flesh wound... With a sigh, he lifted up his shirt and frowned. Damn, that beast did some damage... His abdomen and chest were already covered with various scars, though most were hidden by the tattoo. Something that proved he'd been to prison - for a hundred years, in fact. Now, sure, he was way better and didn't behave as before, but... Back then, he'd actually killed someone. A nymph.

His hatred for them still stayed, even though he knew that he mustn't hurt them anymore, unless he wants to die himself. The blond breathed out quietly as he leaned against the trunk, pressing his hand to the wound with a pained hiss. He'd just use a bit of flames to stop the bleeding.. The dragon's hand soon had a bit of flames on it, which he used to "heal" the wound. It simply stopped the bleeding, but added a bit more pain... Wasn't there water somewhere? It should help.

He'd forgotten about the voice already, now that the pain took up most of his thoughts. Quadron began walking towards where he remembered being a river, but... He realized a bit too late that someone else was there. He immediately bared his fangs, flames lighting up on his hands as he glared at the creature in front of him. Looked human enough, but... It had to be a nymph. Humans didn't reach this place anymore. "Who the fuck are you?" He hissed out still, the flames on his hands threatening to become bigger.

Hmm, that was nice. The river really does have nice water. Takua gave a content sigh, grabbing some more water then lightly splashing it onto his face, getting it slightly into his soft curls. Playing a smile on his lips, Takua swept off I to his thoughts. He didn't feel like going back to the castle. It was so much more relaxing here, with no body telling him what to do or how to dress and stuff. Ever since his mother got Ill and fell into a comatose state, the young prince's father has gotten much stricter. He would barely even allow him to go for a stroll in town anymore, that's how bad it had gotten.

Takua quickly snapped out of those thoughts due to a harsh voice right behind him. The Nymph shot up, startled, and turned around quickly. He couldn't help gasping at what he saw. A Dragon. An actual Dragon. The raven must have accidentally crossed the border getting to the river. Takua couldn't help the large smile that came on his face. An actual Dragon. Wow.

"Hello! I- oh, you're hurt." The Nymph's enthusiasm quickly turned into worry as he noticed the wound on the other's abdomen. Ignoring the angry look on his face and the fire that was sure to be a threat, Takua, before the other could react, reached his small hand and laid it over the wound. It may have stung a little at first, but surely small waves of healing water magic erupted from his hands. The healing water was an ability that most Nymphs had to protect and heal themselves and others if hurt, and it's only around a ten second process for a small gash or something. However, some wounds were too big and can't be healed by the water. Every magic has it's limitations.

He carefully retreated his hand back to his side. The wound hadn't completely healed, and may even take a few days to finish healing, but it looked much better than before. "There." He said with a smile.

Quadron didn't know it was possible to grow to hate someone in a few minutes. This guy was so... So annoying. He just had to comment about him being injured didn't he? Ready to fight back, the dragon let out a deep growl and... Froze. The nymph had his hand on his abdomen. He really, really was too slow sometimes... Just as he was about to pull back, he realized the wound had begun to heal.

Why the fuck would a nymph be helping a Dragon? His eyes narrowed suspiciously, but he let the other take care of him anyway. It shouldn't hurt him... However, once he was done, the flames on Quadron's hands appeared once again and he punched the other into his right cheek, growling again. "You're not getting shit from me." He hissed out in a dangerous voice, the flames growing bigger.

Quadron was one of those that didn't hesitate at all to attack someone - especially if the said someone was a nymph. "Why the hell did you help me? Don't you fuckin' see I'm a Dragon?!?" The blond questioned with a louder voice, anger, almost fury flashing in his eyes. His icy blue, cold eyes. Truly, he just couldn't understand why would a nymph help him out. If it didn't realize he was a Dragon, that would be understandable, but... He literally had flames on his hands. Wasn't that enough proof of him being a Dragon?

To say Takua was expecting such violent reaction was a lie. For helping out somebody in need, he was rewarded with a fiery punch to the cheek. Like, what the heck! The Nymph staggered back a few steps, the same hand that healed the other raised up to hold his cheek own cheek to heal. Who does this guy even think he is! This is what the prince gets for trying to help someone. Especially a Dragon. His father was right… they were selfish, unappreciative creatures.

While the blonde infront of him was shouting at him, the cheek that had been previously hit healed, and he dropped his arm back to his side. The Dragon was wondering why he helped him. Of course I saw what he was, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t help somebody who was hurt. Even if this guy was a jerk, his mother had taught him to always be polite and respect everybody.

Clearing his throat, Takua cautiously put his hands up as if to show he meant no harm, “Please, I know you’re a Dragon, but you were injured and it looked painful. No body should walk around with a wound like that.” The prince said softly, giving another small smile, hoping that maybe the Dragon would calm down a little.

Quadron really couldn't believe this guy. "Why the fuck are you acting so nice? I could kill you!" He continued in a slightly quieter voice. No matter that, his language was still foul. This stupid boy really thought he would just walk away from him? No, his instincts wouldn't let him. He had to at least beat him up, just beause he wanted to. That was how he was - mean, nasty, only nice to the people who actually knew him.

"Stop smiling at me like you expect something nice." He hissed out in a dark voice, the flames lighting back up. He didn't bother turning into his original dragon form, however. It just wasn't worth it... This guy probably wouldn't hurt a fly. The blond narrowed his blue eyes - well, the one that was actually visible - and let out a warning growl. There was a reason his other eye was covered. A scar was over it, and... Well, the eye wasn't exactly there anymore. That was from the time when he was in prison, causing trouble even there.

Letting out a quiet 'tch', Quadron bluntly pushed the Nymph aside, hoping to push the other down to the ground as he walked to drink some water. "Get out already." He grunted out as he crouched down, drinking a bit of the cold, clear water. He had to get the food back to his family... The Dragon soon straightened out, looking at Takua with something close to disgust on his face. "I don't want your smell to get into my clothing." He said with a clearly mocking tone.

Takua stood shocked. Nobody had ever spoken to him with such harshness before, apart from his father. He was just threatened to be killed by a guy he had been nothing but nice and kind too! The matter didn’t get any better when he was spoken to cruelly some more, the guy literally seemed ready to lunge any moment and attack. He slightly flinched when the Dragon’s hand reached out to him. The other pushed Takua to the side, causing him to fall and land on the ground. There was only so much that the Nymph could take anymore.

Just remember what you learnt from your mother... respect everyone, even if they don’t respect you. Just stay kind. Cruelness will get you no where. However, all thoughts of kindness quickly left his mind when the Dragon told him to get out, and that he didn’t want his ‘smell’ to get into his clothes. Takua growled and got up, straightening his clothes before shooting a ball of water right next to the Dragon’s head, demeanor completely changing,

“You know what?! Fuck you! If anyone was to get out, if would be you! I was here first! My father –the king!- was completely right, Dragons are selfish, unappreciative jerks! I don’t know why I was so kind to you. I could have just left you in pain, but I didn’t, and you haven’t spoken a single kind word! Screw it and screw you!” The Nymph nearly shrieked, all anger coming out at once. There’s no way he’s being any nicer when the other obviously won’t.

Quadron only blinked lazily as the ball of water flew past his head. "You missed." He commented in a bored tone as he lifted his chin up, a lazy smirk appearing on his face. "Awww, so you decided to be more interesting~? How fun." He mocked, his chin lifted a bit as if he was looking down on the other. The Dragon's smirk slowly grew, as well as the flames on his hands. By now they just looked like balls of fire on some stubs that were his arms.

As the other yelled at him, Quadron barely held in his laughter. Nymphs looked so weird when they acted angry... It was almost funny. He merely raised a brow as the other mentioned his father being the king. Ah, a royalty. One of the main reasons his family was starving... Or so he thought. He hated each royalty from the bottom of his heart - now that it was a Nymph, he merely hated them more. "You absolutely fail at being angry. You look a small child." He commented lazily as he tilted his head to one side.

"Now then..." He said to himself as his smirk grew. "You're a prince then, huh? Wanna know what your precious daddy is responsible for?" The Dragon mocked as he pushed away his hair, revealing the empty socket where his other eye used to be. His smirk seemed almost crazed by now. "I killed someone to probe he was a shitty king. Did you know his brother is in prison?" He asked with the same expression, but his hair was now back into the original place. "If you Nymphs actually did something good for us, we may not be this way! It was all of your fault..." He hissed out.

How dare he! The Dragon laughed at him! Takua growled, fists clenched by his side. He certainly did not fail at being angry, and didn’t look like a child while doing it. The nerves this guy has! The Nymph was really starting to hate that smirk on the other’s face. Acting all cool and better than him. Hmph. Yeah right. Takua took a moment to listen to what the Dragon was saying. He watched curiously as the other reached up to move his hair out of his face. What he saw made his blue eyes widen. Instead of revealing another eye, all one could see was a black void taking its spot. As the blonde kept talking the raven willed for the wetness to leave his eyes. His father would never intentionally do anything as despicable as that, or let people suffer just because of their species... would he?

“It’s not the Nymphs’ fault!" He began. "You Dragons must have done something to deserve it. Probably by their attitude, seeing as how you’re so rude, I assume the others most likely are too! My father would never do anything that bad without a reason. So if it’s anyone’s fault the Dragons are how they are now, it’s your kind. What would you know anyway, seeing by the way you’re dressed you’re most likely a poor person who just rots on the street. What about your king, huh? Why does he treat you like that?” He hissed back.

"You're just acting like the shitty spoiled brat you are." He hissed out, but the flames on his hands slowly died out. "We didn't do anything. You Nymphs always thought of yourself as better, hah? Your precious father one time began a fight. The biggest one, simply to prove everyone Dragons were worse..." The blond said with a low growl. "Assuming others are like me is like looking at a fuckin' lemon and saying all fruits are sour." He said with a scowl on his face. "I didn't wait one hundred years in a fucking prison to have my whole kind looked down onto." The Dragon said with a low, dark voice as he took a step towards Takua.

When the other insulted him, his clothes, and his king, he couldn't take it anymore. "Just because I don't have the most perfect life like you do..." He hissed with fury flashing in his eyes. "Doesn't mean you can fucking look down on me. I got through so much more than your spoiled ass did!" He yelled out as he glared at the Nymph. "I have a family, at least. I'm pretty sure your family isn't as real as one of a, as you say, poot person." He hissed out before looking away. "It's not my fault." He growled out before looking back at the raven with eyes filled with pure fury. "You mean to tell me that there aren't poor Nymphs?!?"

No matter how much Takua tried to deny it, he couldn't say that the Dragon was wrong. The more he listened to the shouts of the other the more he realized how stupid this whole thing was. He had just gotten out of an argument with his dad, he didn't need another one right after. The anger was slowly leaving his mind, replaced by the guilt of his words and regret of loosing his temper. Normally he would stay calm and kind, but when the few times he actually got into fights, he barely even knew what he was saying. This whole thing was ridiculous.

Takua took a step back and looked away just as the Dragon finished shouting. Tears were building up into his eyes and he didn't want the other to see. "I'm sorry," the Nymph started quietly, "you're right. I don't know what it's like, but I try to help the poor. It's not like I like seeing people having to hunt for their own food because they can't buy any, or seeing people who can barley afford their home." The raven sniffles, "I don't know what came over me, I didn't mean any of the things I said. I-I just think that Dragons and Nymphs should get over their differences and get along."

He knew the Dragon would probably think he was an idiot right now, but he didn't care. "Fighting doesn't solve anything".

Quadron's anger only rose as the other seemed like he was about to cry. Why the fuck would anyone spoil a royalty like this. With a low growl, he delivered a punch to his left side of the chest. "Man up." He hissed out and turned away. "Helping the poor isn't enough. If there weren't poor people, now that would actually be good. When there are royalties like you... Such pussies, you wouldn't handle a day living as a poor!" He yelled out, anger in his eyes. It didn't seem he would let this go that easily. "Sorry won't give me shit." He growled out and turned away. "Fighting, on the other hand, sometimes gives me money." He said quietly and began walking off. He was done with this bullshit.

The Dragon soon reached the boar he'd killed before and, without any signs of it being hard, tossed it onto his back. He sighed out quietly, glancing up into the sky. He hated the royalties, he did, but it wouldn't be that damn hard to change that. If their taxes were lowered and they could actually get proper jobs... Everything would be better. Quadron had a frown on his face as his thougts drifted off to his family - his sister, to be exact. It was his biggest motivation to go hunting... Right now, she was a bit sick. That a bit sick could sometimes mean death if you were poor... They didn't even have money for medication.

Takua couldn’t stop a few tears from leaking out as he was delivered a painful punch to his chest, causing him to crouch down, quickly going to heal the bruise that would most likely form there. He cursed in his mind as he realized he had used up all of his healing magic power for the day. The healing magic was basically the type of magic that you use, but it needs to re-charge, so you can’t use it 24/7. It really sucked, in the Nymph’s opinion. Deciding to ‘man up’, as the Dragon had said just a second before, he straightened and wiped away his tears.

He didn’t realize that the blonde was still shouting at him, and only caught on at ‘you wouldn’t handle a day living as a poor.’ Okay. Maybe he wouldn’t, but he just didn’t want to argue anymore. Why couldn't he just let it go? Soon enough, the other left. It was then that he let tears drip down his face. Why was he such a cry baby? Ugh, he hated it. Takua hastily wiped at his eyes, letting out a light sob before turning around with his eyes to the floor and headed back towards the city.

This was not at all how he expected his first meeting with a Dragon to go. At first he was all excited, wanting to be friends with the other species and learning more about them. To say he was disappointed was an understatement. Wiping away the last of his tears, he averted his gaze back up, coming face to face with a large, angry boar. The raven let out a loud shriek as the animal rammed into him, toppling him over onto the ground before going in for another attack.

Quadron was walking slowly, seeing as the boar on his back wasn't really feather light. Sure, it wasn't too hard to carry it, but it still wasn't nothing. He was about to reach home when a shriek came from the forest. The blond froze up, his eye widening as he cursed. He couldn't just let the other die off like that.. He would be blamed for it, that was certain.

The Dragon dropped the boar down and began running towards the place he heard Takua's scream from. He'd already lit up the flames on his hands and instantly slammed his fists into the boar when he reached it. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!? Can't you even fight back?!" He yelled out the questions as he growled loudly, glaring at the boar. They were both animals, in a way. He should be able to just push it off... Or not.

The boar simply began dashing into Quadron. Guess he'd have to kill it... The Dragon let out a loud growl as he slammed his fists into the beast's chest, breaking through the ribs and probably reaching the heart. When it was lifeless on the ground, Quadron turned to the Nymph with a disgusted expression. "You're so fuckin' weak... Can't you do anything by yourself?" He hissed out, the flames on his hands staying.

The situation Takua was in currently was quiet frightening. A wild boar was coming straight for him – and the he didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t fight. He always relied on the castle guards and knights for that, but never in his life had he actually had to defend himself. The Nymph let out a choked noise that came between a whimper and a sob, before turning his head and awaiting the blow. A blow which never came.

When he opened his eyes, Takua saw the same Dragon as before fighting off the boar. His blue eyes widened as he watched the other slam his fists into the animal’s chest, killing it immediately. Wow. That was... really impressive. He just saved him.... why? Quadron turned and looked down at the raven, telling him how weak he was. He couldn’t help it anymore- the Nymph started to full out sob. Tears streamed down his face for gratitude of being saved, fear of almost dying, relief of being saved and regret that the two weren’t on good terms when he finds they could’ve been.

“I-I, t-thank,“ Takua started, however could not finish due to a loud, familiar voice shouting his name. His eyes widened even more if possible as he turned his head to the direction of the voice.

“Prince Takua, hang on!” Everything happened so suddenly he barely had any time to react. The soldier who was calling the Nymph’s name ran over to where he was lying and hoisted him up to his feet. This man was a good friend of his, he was the prince’s babysitter when he was younger aswell, so the two had known each other for a long time and became good friends. In the mean time, however, the other three guards had gone and attacked the blonde Dragon. Still sobbing, Takua looked at Quadron getting beat up and yelled, “S-stop!”, but nobody listened.

Quadron groaned when the other began sobbing. God, this guy really was a weakling.. The blond frowned at him, ready to yell again when the voices reached his ears as well. His eye widened and he cursed loudly. He would've ran away, but... He was too slow. The blond groaned out in pain as he was beaten to the ground. The only thing he managed to do was glare at Takua and mouth out the words 'Happy now?'.

The Dragon hissed in pain as he was pulled up to his feet, his hands held behind his back as some kind of handcuffs were put on- Oh no. The blond groaned out as he tugged at the handcuffs which earned him a harsh kick to his abdomen. It didn't do much, but he still hissed, quite loudly at that. "Prince Takua! We have to get you back into the castle...We'll make sure this creature gets excecuted." One of the guards said as Quadron smirked.

"See? You're no different than dragons." He hissed out as blood rolled down from the side of his mouth where he'd received a punch. It seemed that another guard had noticed the tattoo on his chest, however. "This beast..." He muttered out as the Dragon offered him a grin. "This beast just saved your spoiled prince from being killed. Is that what I get in return? Or rather, what I lose?" He asked mockingly and, yes, got beaten back to the ground. "You were trying to kill the prince!" Quadron didn't respond in any other way than shaking his head. "Prince Takua?.." One of the guards asked in confusion.

Takua watched the whole seen play by, tears still streaming down his face. He watched the guards and the Dragon interact and fight. He hated all the violence that guards always inflicted on prisoners. Soon enough, all eyes were on him, waiting for him to answer the question; Did Quadron try to kill him or not? Of course he didn’t! Right now however, Takua didn’t have the voice to speak out after all the unusual events. He could have the blonde executed right now if he just spoke the words...

“I-I... N-no, w-wait yes, I-I mean no,” The prince staggered before taking a deep breath, “C-can we just g-go home?” He sniffled. The knight that had helped Takua up –Xai, his name was- put an arm around the smaller boy’s shoulders, “Of course, my prince. Bring the prisoner with us! We will take him to see the king. He can decide what happens next.”

The guards nodded and grabbed the Dragon, dragging him along towards the Nymph territory.

Half the way there the raven was still sobbing, until the tears died down and he walked side by side with Xai. It took maybe thirty minutes by foot to make it back to the castle, going in through the front gates, earning plenty of stares the way there. The palace it’s self was gorgeous, colors of white and blue everywhere. The furniture was regal, but had its own forest-like twist to it. The group went and entered the throne room, where plenty of people were. Servants walking around doing their duties, knights and guards all around. Then, in the center, on the jewel filled throne sat Takua’s father, King Anakin.

“Your majesty,” The guards and Xai said, kneeling down, forcing Quadron to aswell. The prince went up and give his father a hug, which was returned happily. “Sorry for running off again father,” I whispered as we broke the hug. He smiled and kissed my forehead before returning to his throne.

“And what might we have here?” The blue haired king asked, voice booming as he saw the Dragon they had brought.

Quadron couldn't believe this guy didn't at least respond properly. Oh joy. He was going to get accused of trying to murder the prince. Just because the said prince couldn't answer a question properly. He shot glares at Takua all of the way to the castle. If he was going to die thanks to this guy, he would haunt him as a ghost, that was for sure.

When they reached the castle and he was forced to bow down, the dragonlet out a low growl and shook off the guard to stand up. He tilted his chin slightly, looking at the king with a scowl. "I saved his life." He said as he motioned at Takua. "At least let me go." The Dragon said in a low, rumbling voice. Truly sounded like thunder... "I have to get back to my family." He said quietly, never breaking eye contact with the king.

"And besides... Do you not remember me?" The blond suddenly asked with a smirk stretching across his face as he flipped his hair back, the empty socket and scratches over it now revealed to the man. "Because... I remember you." He said quietly.

'This is all my fault, my fault, all my fault' Those were the words being repeated in the young prince's head currently. He stood a good two meters away from where his father sat at the throne, watching the Dragon talk. It was his fault. If only he hadn't been such an idiot. He looked towards his father. He looked confused, to say the least, as if he was trying to remember something. The older mans eyes fell into a glare as he seemed to remember what he was thinking about before.

"There's no chance for you boy. Execute him now."

A series of 'yes your majesty' came from the guards. Two of them had begun to drag the Dragon away, most likely down to the dungeon.... He couldn't let this happen. Without giving the thought a second look, Takua yelled "Stop!"

This momenterally shocked everybody. The guards holding Quadron stopped in their movements, "but my prince, the King sa-" "I know what he said." Takua cut off the guard before he could even finish the whole sentence. The Nymph spared a glance at the blonde before turning to his father.

"What is the meaning of this son?" He demanded, standing up from the thrown to stand infront of the other. "I-I... Don't execute him!" The prince strammers out. "He saved my life... Make him a servant instead! We're in need of some, aren't we?"

"Takua, don't be an idiot. He's a Dragon. And not just any Dragon. We must kill him before h-"

"Dad!" Takua once again cut off a person. Swallowing, he responded quietly "I'll marry who you want and give you as many grandchildren as you want. Just please, don't kill him."

This silenced Anakin. He has been wanting for atleast a century now to have his son married and have children to rule the kingdom next. Another minute or so went by before the king spoke. He let out a huff. "Alright. I'll take your word on that," The next words he spoke in a louder voice, wanting to adress everybody, "From now on Quadron will be Takua's personal servant. Assist them to my son's chambers, I need time to think..."

The raven let a thankful with and mouthed the words 'Thankyou' to his father. He caught up with the two guards and the Dragon, who then proceeded to escort them to his room. The last though that was on Takua's mind before they arrived was 'how does father know this guy's name...'

Quadron realized this was the best time to start fighting. He had to at least try to get away... He wasn't going to die in the hands of some Nymph. "I didn't wait a hundred years in your fucking prison to be killed off! I saved your son, get it over your thick skull already!" The Dragon yelled, but...Takua suddenly ordered for the guards to stop. His only good eye immediately turned to the prince, a flash of hope in them.

He watched the scene in front of him quietly. Takua was seriously arguing for his life, wasn't he? Well, at least he wouldn't have to die. A quiet 'tsk' came from his mouth at what the raven was offering for the king. Royalties only thought about how their line must be saved, didn't they? That really was stupid.

But, it seemed like it worked. "For how long?" Quadron questioned with narrowed eyes. He had a family to take care off. His father wasn't there anymore, so he was the only male... The strongest member of the family. Physically, at least. He always hunted the food and sometimes got money to pay for their rent...

As he was nearly shoved into Takua's room, the Dragon lost balance and landed on his bottom with a pained groan. He tossed a small glare at the raven, his lips pursed. "Take my handcuffs off." He said quietly, slowly standing up while using only his legs. He straightened out, a small frown on his face. "While I am thankful for my life, I don't want my family to die. I have to bring them the food." He said quietly, the smallest hint of worry in his voice.

Takua couldn't say that this was the best day so far. He also couldn't say that today he planned on gaining a new servant, much less a Dragon. He felt afull for making him his servant, however, it was the only choice he could make apart from death. When they arrived to his bedroom, Takua entered after Quadron was sent to the floor. He shot a glare at the guards before closing the door. He looked at the other being in the room as he began to talk, asking for the handcuffs off and to be let go for his family. Oh. Well way to make Takua feel worse than he already was.

"Ah," the prince said, turning to look behind him, where a small bedside table sat. He opened the second drawer and took out a pair of small keys - handcuff keys. Cautiously, he went over to the Dragon and began to unlock the handcuffs. "as for leaving, I'm afraid you can't. The castle is guarded heavily, whenever I get back from a 'trip'. I doubt I would even be allowed outside myself. I'm so sorry." Everything the Nymph said drowned in honesty. "I-I swear, when I can go out, I'll let you escape - but for now, just please..." He finished off the sentence there, not quiet knowing what to say anymore.

Takua swallowed and offered a smile as the handcuffs fell off, "Are you hungry...?"

Quadron felt as if he was sinking into this huge, dark pit of nothing. When his handcuffs were taken off, he didn't even do anything. "No, you don't understand..." He muttered quietly, closing his eyes. "If they don't get the food, they'll starve. I have a sick sister, my father isn't around and my mother doesn't earn enough!" His voice grew louder and louder as he talked. Finally opening his eye, he stared at Takua with a deep scowl. "Can't you at least get someone to bring the fuckin' boar to them? You have a shitload of guards, get at least one to take the food to them!" He'd begun sounding desperate as he talked.

Hearing the question, he shook his head. "No, I'm not." He hissed out, looking away from the Nymph. He'd feel too guilty to live if he knew his family would be starving. The Dragon let out a long, shaky sigh as he slid down to the floor against the wall, lightly gripping his hair. He didn't even care if the other saw him like that anymore. He didn't want to abandon their family... Most of their friends were also poor, so there wasn't... No, wait. There was one guy who would help them out... Quadron stood up suddenly, staring at the prince with wide eyes. "Can I at least send a letter?" He asked hurriedly.

The prince quietly listened as Quadron told him about his family. A dad who was never their, a mother who can't get enough money and a sick sister? Takua couldn't imagine what it must probably feel like right now. If only he could do something about it. The guards would never go into Dragon territory just to bring a boar to one of the many starving families, much less would his father allow it. The other was now crouched down and clutching his hair. This was probably the most -dare I say- vulnerable Takua had seen throughout the small amount of time they met each other.

The blonde then suddenly asked if he could write a letter. A... Letter? That.. That could possibly work. "I-I yeah! Sure! J-just lemme get a paper and pencil," the raven replied, a happy smile across his face. He ran over to a large desk and picked off just a random paper laying there and a slightly worth pencil. "Do you need anything else?" Takua asked, plopping down infront of Quadron, but not near enough to make him uncomfortable.

Quadron waited impatiently to get the paper and the pencil. Once he got those, he immediately walked to the desk, hurriedly scribbling something on the paper. He tried to include as many things as possible without revealing too much. In the end, his letter sounded something like this:

Swelix, I need your help. You owe me for that one winter, now I'm going to use it. Got in trouble for something I didn't do. Long story short, gotta work with the water prince. Please take care of mother and sister, don't let them starve.

For now I am alright, so don't do anything until I give any kind of signal. I'll try to get back as soon as I can.

-Quadron

When he was finished, the blond folded the letter several times and glanced at Takua with narrowed eyes. "I need this sent out now." He said as he scribbled the adress on the paper and tilted his head. "Unless you want to be responsible for the death of two innocent people, send this out now." He said hurriedly as he shoved the paper to the other. The letter was believable enough, he thought. Swelix would understand what the winter thing meant.
