Takua walked back over with the tray while listening to Quadron the whole time. See! Somehow he got the other annoyed of something again. The prince noticed how much the Dragon sighed after speaking, as if he was irritated to have to answer, so that's why he explained he didn't have to answer. Yet apparently he still had to be rude with the whole whiny thing. He certainly was not whiny. He never whined for anything. "I won't be whiny, don't worry..." He answered a little unsurely. Truthfully, silence around Takua was apparently was apparently awkward to the Dragon but sometimes talking to Quadron himself got awkward. Giving a sigh of his own, the other then announced he was finished mixing.

"Okay. Well, now we gotta add the chocolate chips into the dough and mix it a lil. That'll only take a few seconds, so then we'll basically get two spoons and scoop up the dough then place it on this tray. Just make sure they won't be too close to eachother, otherwise the cookies'll stick together and we don't want that!" In the middle of explaining, Takua placed the tray he was holding infront of them along with two little spoons nearby. He then reached out and grabbed the bag of chocolate chips and tore a hole into it then began to pour out the little chocolates into the dough. Once he decided there was enough chocolate chips, the prince stopped and looked to Quadron. "You said you've never had chocolate. Do you wanna try some?" He said, politely offering the bag to the blonde.

Quadron let out a soft grunt when the other assured him he wouldn't be whiny. "You seem like one that'd get whiny at some point." He mumbled out, this time at least not sounding too irritated. It was really easy imagining Takua all whiny... And kind of cute, actually. If he was like his sister in this aspect too, then he'd definitely look cute. And, seeing as he was really like his sister as far as he saw, he probably would be adorable. The blond didn't really like these thoughts, but he couldn't stop them, to be honest. A part of him realized that he kind of wanted to see Takua whining... Maybe if they grew closer at some point, he would see him like that as well.

The Dragon nodded a bit at the explanation on what they were doing next with the dough, not really bothering to reply verbally. He watched quietly as the small chocolate pieces were poured into the dough, and he could've sworn that he could smell them. He blinked a few times at the odd suggestion, but nodded, taking a few out of the bag. He put them into his mouth, his eyes closing in something that appeared as bliss on his face. They were so delicious... The Dragon licked his lips once they had melted in his mouth, and were swallowed. "It's good." He muttered out, opening his eye to look at the other. "Really good. Sweet." He murmured, kind of stating the obvious, but... He couldn't help it.

Takua discreetly huffed when he heard that the Dragon thought he would get whiny. He never really did, unless it was playfully around a friend or something. Seeing as how the Dragon most likely thought them nothing as friends, he would just find his whining annoying instead of seeing the friendliness behind it. The Nymph sighed quietly when Quadron went to grab some of the chocolates he just offered. He closely watched the other's face as he chewed on the little pieces. A smile grew on Takua's face when the blonde had said the chocolate was delicious, "You can have as many as you want whenever then!" He proclaimed cheerfully. "If you think these are really good, you'll love the cookies."

The raven went and grabbed one of the small spoons, "Uh, yeah. Now we just basically do as I said before and scoop the dough on the tray," he re-explained, moving the bowl and tray so that they could both reach easily and began to scoop out little bits of the dough and placing it neatly on the tray. There was space for atleast twenty cookies or so on the tray, plus some extra dough. Takua glanced over to Quadron, looking into his one blue eye, "Soo." He started, "Do you like Rabbits? I do. They're so fluffy and adorable! Sadly the only bunnies I've ever seen are made to be eaten... Which sucks, but I guess it's just how it works. I've wleays wanted a fluffy rabbit. It would be cute wouldn't it? Of course it would." The prince finished with a giggle. He probably sounded really stupid, yet this was the first thing that came to mind to possibly start a conversation or something.

Quadron blinked in confusion when he was allowed to take more. A small flash of graditude ran across his face while he nodded and took out a few more. "I'm a bit curious to see what they'll taste like." He admitted with the tiniest smile on. There, he could do this... He could act nice around the prince, right? Yeah, damn right he could. And if he did, maybe he could get on the good side of him, and be able to leave this place alive... Now that would be great for sure. Even if he lost some limb, it wouldn't be all that bad. He could just get something to work as an arm or a leg. Perhaps it would be harder to hunt, but whatever.

The Dragon nodded lightly when he heard the explanation about how to put cookies again and began doing so. The blond seemed a bit hesitant even now, trying to put equal amounts each time, lightly nibbling on his lip. He huffed quietly at the question and shook his head. "I don't particulary like them. As meat, they're good, but... I don't know, I prefer bigger animals, if so to say." He had to force himself not to make some rude comment again. Just, stay cool... Quadron soon finished the dough with Takua and pulled away, taking out a few more chocolate chips into his mouth. While letting them melt, he gazed at the prince for a while before sighing. "Why are you even doing this with me?" He asked with a slightly raised brow.

The prince pouted when he heard the other say he didn't like Rabbits. He guessed everyone had their own opinions, but... But Bunnies! Nodding with a sigh, Takua took a quick glance at the cookie dough. There would be more than enough to full up this tray most likely seeing as how they only used about half and the tray was almost full. That's pretty good anyways, besides, all the other servants or maids definetly appreciated these treats once in a while. The raven snapped his attention away from his thoughts to listen to Quadron. He furrowed his brows together and replied with a slight frown,

"I dunno, I just thought it would be fun? Y'know, since you're here you could try doing and eating something new. Plus it makes time fly by pretty fast, and it's better than being bored right." He then paused for a moment to think about his next words. "If you ever don't want to so something don't hesitate to tell me okay. Same if you wanna do something, even if it's just a suggestion. Don't worry 'bout it!" Takua finished with a cheerful smile. The prince layed down his spoon on the counter top once he saw they had pretty much filled up all of the tray. "Yay, we're done! Now we just gotta bake this and wait." He leaned forward and grabbed the tray with both hands over to the heated oven before carefully setting it in. Now they just needed to wait.

Quadron sighed, not fully understanding the response he got. It really didn't make sense. "I guess." He murmured out anyway, deciding not to say anything else. The Dragon barely held in a groan at what he heard next. "I'd suggest going to the forest, but clearly you can't do that." He muttered and rubbed his forehead slightly. The prince was too cheerful to be a prince... No, this whole thing was too confusing. He wanted to just go to sleep and wake up, then realize it was a dream. Yeah, that would be nice.

"So you don't have any siblings?" He asked all of a sudden, raising his eyes up at Takua. He gazed at the cookies for a while before tilting his head to one side. "Wouldn't it be faster if I did that instead?" He asked, raising a hand up and lighting a small fire on his index finger. "I'm pretty sure that'd be way faster." The Dragon commented with a small frown before shaking his head. "Whatever." He muttered and closed his eyes, running a hand over the part of hair he left loose. The blond was definitely curious to see what would they eat now - he'd seen cookies, of course, but he'd never tasted ones that weren't burnt or anything of the sort.

Takua sighed softly once he finished up placing the tray into the oven. "Ah yeah... We can't do anything outside the castle... Sorry," he replied back with an appoligetic smile. Honestly, going out into the forest or something seemed so nice right now.. Or just generally going outside. Shaking away the idea of going outside, the prince walked back over to where the Dragon stood. At the sudden question, Takua couldn't help but tighten his lips. "Eh," he shrugged. Truthfully, for once it was a question he didn't want to answer. He had oke sibling; an older brother, who he had never met. Apparently a month or so before he was born his brother left, leaving only a note before disappearing.

The prince, pretty much dropping the sibling question, furrowed his brows when Quadron said it would be faster if he did it. He couldn't help but slightly flinch when a small flame appeared from his finger. Takua let out a small laugh, "I guess it would be. Thing is, I don't think either of us really know if it'll bake the cookies enough, just right, or too much. Thanks for offering though!" He finished with a smile "So! What kind of stuff can Dragons do? I know you can basically create fire and such, but is it true that you can literally become Dragons, as in the huge ones with scales?"

"I'm pretty sure I already said this, but I'll repeat. Sorry won't get me anything." Quadron said quietly as he rubbed his forehead slightly. "Besides, can't you ask your guards for a damn bunny if you want it so bad?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. If his guards could just walk around without any work, they may as well get the prince something he clearly wanted. However, the Dragon was smart enough to notice that Takua didn't want to talk about siblings, for whatever reason. He wasn't mean enough to actually continue pestering him about it.

"Alright, then." Quadron mumbled with the slightest bit of disappointment as he made the flame disappear. He hummed in agreement at the next question. "It makes us tired, and we can't really change between forms easily, but yeah, we can." The blond said as if it wasn't such a big deal. "There are some who can somehow control lightning. I have no idea how, but... It's pretty awesome." He admitted, a feeling close to jealousy in his voice. "What about Nymphs? What good can you do?"

"Oh, ah, sorr- I mean, okay." The prince stuttered. He raised his eyebrow at the question, "No, I can't ask anyone for a bunny. There's this stupid 'no animals in the castle rule', unless it's for food." Takua explained. "Besides, even if I could get an animal my dad would want something more strong and loyal, like a dog for example. So I doubt I could ever get a rabbit no matter how much I ask." Another thing was that is wasn't the guard's job to get him bigger things like an animal, all that would be decided by his father. His father, who would never give him anything extra unless it was necessary. Takua nodded at the response to his question. So they could change their forms... he had always wondered wether they could or not. To be honest, it was pretty cool.

"Uhm, well, sometimes if we listen and try really hard we can talk to animals. Not like full out conversations though. More like they say a word or two. It's pretty hard to understand them aswell, but the smaller the animal the easier it is to talk to them. Hey, and there's another reason why having a bunny would be great! We could be best friends." The prince ended with a wide smile. "Hmm, anyways. What about fire, can you eat it? Someone sometime ago told me that you could. "

Quadron raised an eyebrow when he heard the dumb rule. Really? That wasn't fun at all. If he could, the Dragon knew he'd keep an animal for his sister at home - but it required attention and food, and they couldn't always give it that... Maybe someday. "Dogs aren't strong at all." The blond commented bluntly as he sighed and looked away for a bit. "The person you call your father is horrible. You should hate him." The Dragon muttered out quietly and turned away for a moment. He hoped no one else was here to hear this. He could get in trouble for even saying this, probably.

"That's pretty useless." Quadron said again, tilting his head slightly. "What's the point in talking with animals if they don't say anything?" He asked before hearing the question - which made him laugh dryly. "Bullshit. We can't eat fire." He said with a small grin tugging at the corners of his lips. "We don't get burned by fire, though... And we live way better in hot places rather than cold ones." He admitted with a sigh while leaning against the counter with a rather relaxed expression on his face.

"Hey, they're stronger than a rabbit." Takua muttered back to the blunt response. Well, it would also depend on the breed of dog really... Dogs aren't the strongest animal yet some of them know what to do to protect. But he decided not to get too into that subject however, seeing as how it would most likely lead to a quarrel. The prince tightened his lips at the comment about his father. Sure, the King wasn't exactly the brightest or the best... But he was used to it. He would deal with it. "Well I don't hate him. I can live with it. Beside, he's not that horrible."

And there went the Dragon again, being rude. Takua frowned, "It's not useless... They do say things, just not, you know, full out long conversations." The prince sighed softly. For some silly reason he seemed to take the other's opinion to heart on that. Just calling it useless kind of hurt for one reason or another. He didn't even realize that Quadron had started speaking agai till he was atleast halfway through his sentence. "Hmm, okay then." The raven simply replied, afraid that he may have said odd that made no sense.

"Why do you need a dog when you basically have a Dragon as your own personal pet?" Quadron mocked slightly, a bit of hurt in his voice. Dragons weren't meant to service others no matter what... Dragons were creatures of their own. So what if the prince didn't think Quadron was his pet - he still felt like this, in this closed up castle. At what Takua said about his father, the blond could barely contain his growl. "Do I need to remind you he clawed my eye out? And then sentenced me to prison for a hundred years?" He asked in a slightly cold voice.

"Okay, so what good do they say? What's the most interesting thing you've heard from an animal?" Quadron questioned as he ran a hand over his hair. He said he wouldn't be rude, but that was impossible for him, it seemed. He always had what to say and he was never one to keep it in. Though he didn't see the reason Takua would take it too hard. He was just some poor Dragon who had a bad fate and ended up as a servant.

Takua narrowed his eyes and looked looked away at the whole 'Dragon for a pet' thing. Was that really how Quadron viewed himself here? Just as some pet? "That's not true..." The prince muttered back the deny. "Have I ever treated you like a pet around here, or told you to do anything along the lines of serving me? No I haven't." he finished with a sigh. As Takua listened on he drifted his eyes over to where the Dragon had his 'eye' covered. He had forgotten about that truthfully...

He didn't know what to say. He knew his father was bad, really bad, but somehow the Nymph just couldn't hate him. Drifting his eyes to anywhere but Quadron, the raven tried his hardest not to sigh in expasperation. "If you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything," he muttered so quiet it was hard to hear. "You know what, it doesn't even matter. I've never heard an animal talk in my life cause I'm not fucking allowed around them. And yes, before you so bluntly point it out, it is stupid. Just drop it."

"I've been here for a short time; how can I know you won't just start treating me like that?" Quadron countered with a question of his own, lips pulled into a frown. The atmosphere between them both was seriously not too good at the moment - and he knew it was his fault. He just couldn't really bring himself to admit it out loud; or change it, either. The Dragon ended up quiet, his only good eye glaring to the side. He wanted out, and he wanted out now.

When Takua muttered out that quietly, it effectively shut Quadron up. His lips pursed together as he crossed his arms and looked away, as if refusing to say anything else. If he hadn't been this pissed about everything that'd happened to him up until now, he may have even apologized, but... He couldn't. He just couldn't show that he was weak. The Dragon was pretty damn sure that he'd be seen as weak if he apologized or anything like that. Finally, he pushed himself off the counter and walked away, leaving the room. Who cared if he'd be seen as a bad servant or some shit like that. He didn't give a shit. Quadron leaned against the wall outside the room, head falling back against the wall as he sighed. Life would not be nice in this place... For either of them, it seemed.

Takua held his breath cautiously when the other lifted himself off the counter and marched out of the room. It took him a few seconds before he heaved out a tired sigh. The prince turned around and slid down the counter, sitting curled up. Was Quadron mad? Annoyed? He didn't want the other to feel those emotions towards him! He should've never been so rude and replied calmly instead. Takua glanced over to the oven where the cookies baked and lifted himself off the ground. They should be ready by now. He opened up the oven and carefully grabbed out the tray, placing it over to the counter before reaching to grab a small, see-through bag nearby. He one by one then placed the cookies ino the bag, making sure not to smush any of them before glancing back at the door. He had to apologize..

Takua slowly made his way to the door. He mentally took a deep breath and opened it to step outside. He looked over to the wall right next to the door, which was where Quadron was leaning. The prince stepped infront of the Dragon and shoved bag of cookies into the others hands before falling to his knees. "Please don't be mad at me!" He began, shoving his hands together, "I never meant to be rude, it's completely my fault and I understand that! I swear I'll be nicer and I'll treat you better. All I wanted was, since you're here, to make you feel welcomed and not imprissoned! I tried, I really really tried. If I'm too annoying I can change! I'll stop talking so much! And I know sorry means nothing to you, but please believe me when I'm so sorry right now. Eat all the cookies you want! They're for you, and if you wanna be alone just tell me and I'll bring you to your room where no body will enter. Just... Don't..." Takua finished in a whisper, a small amount of water in his eyes.

Quadron had a little bit of time to collect his thoughts before Takua walked out. He tossed one glance at the prince before looking away again. Honestly, right now he couldn't give a single shit about what the Nymph had to say. That is, until the cookies were literally shoved into his hand and the prince fell on his knees. Stunned was a very light word to describe how Quadron was feeling. His eyebrows furrowed in pure confusion as he stared at the other, not moving from his position all the while he was rambling about all that nonsense.

Finally, a heavy sigh left his mouth and Takua was pulled up not too gently, Quadron's arms around him with an annoyed expression on his face. "You're supposed to be a prince, not a fucking moron." He mumbled, moving one hand up to stroke his hair. Really... This guy was more and more like his sister with every small thing he learned. "Stop being such a weakling already. I can't really leave, you know." The Dragon sighed, pulling Taku a little bit closer, his hold surprisingly warm - both literally and not. "Just calm down already, god..." He grumbled softly, slight irritation showing.

Takua bowed his head lower, sniffling lightly. There was a long, slightly awkward silence , and the prince felt too nervous to peek at the other's reaction right now. Finally, he heard a loud sigh and the next thing he knew, he was being roughly pulled up to his feet and a pair of strong arms went to wrap around him. Takua hiccuped lightly and returned the hug, wrapping his arms around Quadron's shoulders. He kept his head low while silently letting the tears fall.

The prince kept whispering every few seconds that he was sorry, for being weak, for being a 'moron', for not being able to calm down, and all the while listening to what the Dragon had to say aswel. "I just don't want to be on bad terms. I really, really try, but I'll try harder okay? As long as you actually try too," he whispered softly. It was all really confusing right now. The Dragon was all confusing. One second he'll be fine and won't act rude, the next second he'd be spouting out insults. It just doesn't make any sense...

Quadron rolled his eyes in irritation, gently combing his fingers through the other's hair. "Yeah, yeah, fine." He mumbled, not really caring about it until he calmed Takua down. The Dragon let another sigh leave his mouth as he stared up at the ceiling, thinking about what exactly he would do now. He had a crying Nymph prince in his arms, and he didn't really know how to make him calm down.

"Can you stop crying already?" He groaned softly, both irritated and caring. His emotions often mixed together until he wasn't sure what he was feeling anymore. "I swear, someone might think I made you cry on purpose. That would be enough for someone in here to kill me." He grumbled, unintentionally becoming rude and nasty again.

Slowly but surely, the prince calmed down. He had soaked some of the Dragon's shoulder with his tears, but that would quickly dry up. Hopefully it wouldn't be too uncomfortable having his shoulder and no where else wet. "I'm good now, don't worry," Takua sniffled, "thanks for...Yeah you know.." He finished quietly, moving one arm to wipe at his eyes before ending the embrace completely. Honestly it felt really nice to be held for once. He wasent sure what to expect the Dragon's reaction to be when he decided he would apologize, but Takua sure didn't even think about him being nice that way.

Ignoring the last comment the blonde made before, he lifted his lips into a small smile. Quadron wasn't like reading an open book, but more like solving a puzzle. Sometimes unexpected pieces fit together as you complete more and more. The further you get the more you have an idea on what the finished piece will look like, jut like how the more you find out about a person the more you can see what they're like. Snapping out those thoughts with a small shake of his head, the prince motioned towards the cookies he had handed over before, "You should have a cookie." Takua simply told the other.

Quadron barely noticed the dampness of his shirt from the prince's tears. He'd been way too focused on trying to calm Takua down, even if he didn't manage to show it all that well. "A prince isn't supposed to thanks his servants." The Dragon grumbled out quietly, his arms slowly lowering back down to his sides. The blond lifted his chin, watching the Nymph quietly. "No matter what you say, others will still see me as a servant. It's time you see yourself as a price." The taller male added quietly and looked away.

"Don't feel like it." He sighed out quietly, looking at the bag of cookies in his hand. "Tell me something about yourself." He muttered out and looked back up at Takua. While he managed to stay his cold, stone self, there was something else... Nothing specific, yet something seemed to have changed. Perhaps it was his defencive shell coming off. "I don't care what, but don't be silent again. It's even more annoying than you rambling about shit." He sighed as he scratched his head. That didn't come out right... Once again he proved he was horrible with his words.

Takua drifted his eyes away from Quadron with a small frown, wiping away a bit of leftover wetness. He moved his gaze back over as the other had begun to speak. His frown deepened at what he heard. Again with the whole 'Prince, servant' thing? Why couldn't he understand that he didn't care, and would act the exact same way towards Quadron even if he wasn't forced to be his servant. Just as Takua was about to retaliate back, he was interrupted. The prince frowned even more is possible, and decided to just drop the subject before it might escalate into yet another disagreement.

Takua, for one stupid reason or another, felt a little hurt when Quadron said he didn't 'feel like' eating the cookies. He had made them especially for the Dragon, yet now he didn't want them? Sigh. "Huh?" The raven furrowed his brows while listening to what Quadron said. Something about himself?... What was there to say? Choosing to ignore the rudeness once again, he scratched at the bridge of his nose while thinking. "Uhm. Well. I like drawing?" Takua said sheepishly. "Er, I also like to read and stuff." He shrugged, not too sure what to say when he told him to say something about himself.

Quadron understood the other's want to not talk about the servant thing anymore, as if silently obeying a never-given order. It would be smart to be obedient - if not for Takua, then for others. He was sure that he would have the best chances of staying alive like this. His eye twitched at the obvious disappointment coming from Takua when he said he didn't feel like eating the cookies. A quiet sigh left his mouth as he opened the bag and took one out, carefully taking a bite. His eyes closed at the sweetness of it, slowly chewing it, trying to understand the taste fully. "They're good." He muttered out quietly before the prince talked about himself.

"What do you draw? Do you draw for yourself or for others?" Don't be rude, don't be rude. Make him like you. Quadron repeated to himself in his head over and over again, his lips pursed into a small frown anyway. This wasn't him. This was only an act... A lie. Maybe it would become the truth after enough time, but not yet. Not quite yet. The Dragon felt trapped in this castle. For the first few days, he'd have what to do inside, but he had to go out too. He had to hunt. He would lose all his skills otherwise... He wouldn't be able to get food anymore.

Takua didn't realize that his disappointment showed that much, so when Quadron decided to eat a cookie anyways even though he 'didn't feel like it', it kindof surprised the prince. He watched the his reacted carefully when the other closed his eyes. Did he like them? Were they too sweet? Did he like sweet things? Dragons like sweet things in general? All these worried thoughts ran through his head, though they soon faded when Quadron declared they were good. Takua huffed out a soft laugh, not at the Dragon but at his previous thoughts, and smiled brightly, "Glad you like them,"

"Uhm, I mostly draw for myself." The prince replied, shifting his eyes to think, "but I've drawn stuff for other people too, though rarely." Takua moved his gaze back onto Quadron. He frowned at how forceful the question sounded, as if the other didn't want to be.. Well, nice. Kind. Polite. Whatever you want to call it. He just couldn't understand why it was so hard to general, nice conversation that isn't just one sided, though The Dragon did probably have reasons. "Well what about yourself?" Takua asked with a smile. Maybe Quadron would like it better if he was talking about himself, or something he likes or does.

Quadron rolled his eyes at how obviously Takua was showing his relief. The Dragon huffed quietly and took out another, taking small bites from it, almost letting each one melt in his mouth. He extended the arm with the cookies bag towards the prince, offering him to take some too. He felt weird eating alone like this. He was so used to always sharing the food he had, it was fairly unusual to have some all for himself. He didn't really like that... It didn't feel real.

"Me? There's nothing to talk about me." Quadron said quietly and looked away. He hated talking about himself; he thought it made him look like he wanted attention. Which he didn't. "I don't do anything interesting anyway... You seem like you do. Are you the one taking care of that garden?" Quadron tried to shift the conversation away from himself. If one looked closely enough, they would see a glint of fear of the unknown in his blue eye. Underneath his hard, rude shell he was honestly scared. This wasn't where he belonged.

Takua's eyes widened, just a little, when the Dragon extended his arm to offer some of the cookies. He slightly lifted his hands up ms have them a little wave, "They're for you, don't worry," the prince said, denying the offer. It was a nice thought though, even if to Quadron it seemed like nothing, yet in Takua's eyes it seemed like he was making a bit of progress here. Not much, but still atleast a little bit. "Oh." The prince muttered quietly as the Dragon said there was nothing about himself to talk about. Surely he did something interesting. Maybe he was wrong, and the other didn't like talking about himself. Now that the Nymph thought about it, he seemed like the kind of person who didn't.

Takua moved a stray curl away from his eyes and nodded at the question. "Yup. Nobody ever bothers with the garden other than me, seeing as how it's mine anyways and whatnot." He replied with a small laugh, "But that's okay, cause I love gardening." The prince looked to the side, spotting a maid or two doing their duties. He realized the two of them were still in the middle of the hallway, and should most likely get going somewhere. "Do you wanna go somewhere else instead of just standing here?"
