Kiss by Chance (Noise Prince and ♠[Rin]♠ )

"I am not choosy," Yukio said. He picked his chopsticks up and tried the noodles. "So you don't have to be a perfect chef. Besides - yes, I like them." He gave a small grin. "They are really good! Amirin' her skills already." Happily, he kept on eating. It tasted really good and it was a nice change.

 

"By the way, when do you go to bed on the weekend usually?" He asked. He sometimes stayed up until 3 a.m. and on another day he fell asleep around 10 or 11. It would be nice to know when Hideki wanted to go to bed.

"Really?" Hideki grinned. "That's great, I'm sure she'll be very happy to hear it!" He said, a pink tickling his cheeks as his pride swelled. He bit into his sandwich just as Yukio asked him a question, so he could barely savor the taste before he quickly swallowed it.

 

"Hm… It depends, really." He said, thinking out loud. "I guess typically until midnight, unless I have something planned the next day."

"Alright. Just tell me when you want to go to sleep. I need to put out my contacts before then," he answered, going back to eating. He didn't find the evening as bad as he had thought earlier so far and it was a positive surprise. He felt the warmth of another person in the room, what sounded kind of creepy, but alone he felt so uneasy. Now he had someone to talk to, someone who talked to him, and someone who was interested in him. That was barely that way.

 

Maybe Hideki wasn't such a bad guy. He made people happy with him being there for them, and with his smile only. Maybe even his friendly 'Konichiwa!' was enough to raise someone's mood.

Hideki nodded.

"Alright then, I will." He answered. He didn't know Yukio wore contacts, and made a mental note of it. "Though, I doubt I'll feel tired with you, since you make my heart beat really fast when I look at you." Hideki added, a grin spreading on his lips. "So it might be better to go to sleep when you start feeling tired."

Hideki took another bite, and savored it. He was rather surprised that he could tell that it tasted a bit different than when his sister made something by herself. Hideki licked his lips before looking up at Yukio across the table. He really was so cute, Hideki felt his heart skip a beat! He wanted to know more and more about Yukio. He wanted to be able to take care of him.

 

"So, what would you normally be doing on a weekend?" Hideki asked Yukio.

At Hideki's question, Yukio thought for a moment, stopping to eat. His eyes went to the right corner as he thought about it. Then he went back to eating. As an answer, he shrugged. "I would play video games or read. I don't like watching TV unless any bloody movies are playing. Otherwise I mostly listen to music and watch YouTube videos or look around in my Facebook Newsfeed. So nothing interesting. If we have an exam and I need to study, I mostly study through the night." It was nothing special; things everyone did, he assumed.

"Yeah?" Hideki smiled, nodding as he listened to Yukio's answer. He thought it was interesting that he didn't like television. Hideki didn't watch a lot himself, but he had a few shows he liked to watch, at least, though since they both liked movies, they could watch those together.

But they had reading, games, and music in common!

"What are your favorite books?" Hideki asked him, subconsciously leaning in. "And games? Songs?"

"I love the Dragon Quest games, still waiting for the tenth," Yukio answered truthfully. "Books.... I like Cody McFadyen and Rl. Stine. I don't know if you know them. They write crimes." He took a little break to eat some of his noodles, then he asked back;" What about you?"

"Oh, yeah? I've never owned a game myself, but I've played a few of the Dragon Quest's series at friends' houses sometimes." Hideki said, a beam on his face. "I've recently bought the game Steal!, and I like it a lot so far." He added.

"And no, I haven't heard of those authors…" He admitted, after thinking on the names. They just didn't seem familiar. "Though I'm more into fantasy than crime, so that might be why. But I'll check them out the next chance I get." He promised.

"Steal?..." The smaller one of them leaned back, musing, as if he was trying to figure out what the game was about only with the name as information. Then his eyes brightened. "Oh, isn't that this one Yaoi Game? BL game?" He didn't know which description was better, Yaoi or BL. Anyway, if Hideki had this game, he would understand.

 

"Do you play... many games like Steal?", Yukio then asked, a bit carefully. He knew people were serious about the Yaoi genres, and he didn't want to offend Hideki in any way. He himself hadn't ever played such a game. He had never seen a movie, a show, a porn - nothing. He just knew it existed.

"Yeah, that's right." Hideki nodded. "So you've heard of it? I've only started it recently, it looked interesting so I bought it. I didn't know it was a Yaoi/BL game until one of my sisters told me!" He said, chuckling. "She's also the one that got me into visual novels, so she's pretty in the know," Hideki added, rarely one to skip a chance to brag about his sisters.

 

"It's the first of its genre I've ever played, since I don't want to play a visual novel with sex scenes, like a lot of Yaoi/BL games have… so I like to play more tame otome games." Hideki admitted. "But… I really like the idea of playing a guy who falls in love with other guys in this one, so I look forward to playing it to completion!" He smiled, blissfully unaware that Steal! will eventually have sex scenes. His cheeks flushed a bit, and he looked up to Yukio.

 

"Although doing so for real is much, much better!" He exclaimed, beaming.

A laughter passed Yukio's soft lips. He fell against the chair's back and set his silverware down on the dish. "I love you, Hideki." He meant what the other was like, of course. It wasn't a love confession, but he didn't think of it when he said it.

Leaning back forward, the raven-haired boy shrugged. "I don't think sex scenes are bad. I mean they are just drawn and not real. It's not like it would have to do with reality." Drawings were always different than reality.

Hideki's smile grew wider, and he tilted his head.

"I love you, too!" He replied gleefully, brushing his hair out of his face. Yukio loved him back? That was great! He really wanted to make Yukio happy, and if he loved him back, that meant he was doing so, right?

 

"Hm… I guess that's true… but since you get to know the characters, they become real even if they're drawn…" He started, pondering the differences. "But I guess I would prefer a drawn sex scene than seeing a real one, especially in the middle of a visual novel!" Hideki decidedly announced.

"Even if real sex is still the best thing, if you do it yourself with your partner," Yukio pointed out. After all, sex was something you could do for fun or for sharing your liking, kinda. You wanted to make the other to feel good and one remembered who gave great pleasure to him. Sex was, if it didn't happen with alcohol, something unforgettable.

Hideki's face turned light pink.

"Y-yeah, I agree." Hideki said. "I guess… I think I want to have sex with a partner, and see them naked, before I see other people doing it." He thought out loud. "It'd be something really special then, right? Sex is supposed to be with two people who really love each other…" His voice trailed a bit, and he took a large bite of the yakisoba. "That's why everyone likes to do it."

"Right," was Yukio's answer. He soon finished his meal and laid the silverware onto the dish as a sign of being done. Then he reached out for the glass of orange juice and lifted it to his lips. When he took a few sips, he closed his eyes. He loved orang juice and he didn't even know why! It was just one of his favorites.

 

Setting the glass back on the table, the smaller one waited for Hideki to also finish up. He didn't eat much in the evening.

Hideki grinned, nodding. He noticed that Yukio was already finished eating, so he took several large bites, following it down with juice. He watched Yukio drink from his glass as well. His expression was so soft and dreamy, Hideki could hardly stand it.

 

"You're so cute!" Hideki gushed. "Do you really like juice?" He asked, stuffing two large mouthfuls of food into his mouth at once, clearing his plate.

"uhm..." Again, a bit overwhelmed by Hideki's compliment, Yukio answered: "Yeah, I love orange juice. I don't know why. I am just really obsessed with the taste, to be honest." Sometimes he even just took a one-liter-bottle of orange juice upstairs with him. And in other times he squashed oranges himself to get the juice, a bit mixed with water.

"Oh?" Hideki muffled after swallowing the large mouthful. "So it's because it's orange juice, then..." he grinned, standing up and picking up his glasses. "Do you like other fruit juices?" He asked him. He wondered about his other kinds of favorites. What he liked, what he didn't like. Anything that made him look so happy, Hideki wanted to know about it.

"I also like lemon, but I don't drink it too often. Mostly in summer." Yukio also rose up from his chair. He lifted his dish up and then reached for Hideki's. "I'll put everything into the dish washer, yeah? So you can take it home tomorrow freshly washed."

"Oh? I really like lemonade, too! My sisters say I put too much sugar in it, but I like it when it's gritty just as you're finishing the glass." Hideki replied. "Then again, a lot of the sugar gets stuck to the bottom, so it's a bit wasteful to drink it that way…"

 

Hideki saw Yukio take his dish, and smiled at his offer.

 

"That's very kind, thank you!" He answered him. How thoughtful of him to think of that…

"Yeah, I don't drink it with much sugar," Yukio chuckled. "You are one weird guy, Kanada-san." The smaller one walked over to the dish washer under the counter. He opened it and started to put the dishes in. It was half-full anyway and with Hideki's tableware he could turn it on already.

[Noise Prince]

"Am I?" Hideki shrugged, a grin on his face when Yukio smiled. "But you have enough to keep it from being sour, right? Or do you like sour tastes?"

 

"Hey, would it be okay if I could kiss your forehead?" Hideki asked him, watching him put away the dishes. He was so cute, he wanted to hold him tight, but he also remembered that he didn't like that. Another kiss on the lips seemed really intimate for right now. Plus, there was something classic and sweet about a forehead kiss, and he would like to give Yukio one.

"Sometimes I like it sour," Yukio grinned, it looked almost like the grin of a child who had successfully pulled a prank on someone.

As soon as Hideki's words seem to reach him, the smaller one narrowed his eyebrows and looked over at his guest. "A kiss on the forehead?...," he repeated. It wasn't like he really minded, after all it was nothing intimate. "Why would you want that?" Yukio then asked back. He filled the dish washer with Hideki's tableware and then closed it. Of course he remembered that the other liked him, but it was really strange to be asked such a question...

 

Even if he was totally fine with being asked instead of sudden actions!

"Oh? Well, I guess sour is good sometimes, too." Hideki replied, smiling at Yukio's expression. He looked so pleased with himself for some reason.

 

"Yeah, a kiss." He repeated after Yukio. "I thought you look so sweet right now and I wanted to hug or kiss you. But you said you don't like being touched near your arms, and on the lips is kind of intimate for the middle of the first date. I mean, we've done it before…" A happy blush coated his cheeks. "But this is different. So I thought a kiss on the forehead would be good, because it's cute."

"Oh, yeah..." The first date. Hideki thought it was a date. Well, Yukio wasn't sure if he was wrong or right. Or if /he/ was the stupid one, or if Hideki only saw it as a date.

Did it really look like a date?

 

"I don't mind, go ahead." To be honest, Yukio would have given him credit of doing something like this, but the taller one obviously did his best to get Yukio's heart.

Somehow cute.
