Now a freshman at Kaijou High, Kise was the rookie of the "Generation of Miracles". Since he only started playing basketball in his second year of middle school, Kise was his team's least experienced member, and notes himself the weakest of the five. Kise's unique skill is his ability to mimic the moves and plays of other players. The only moves he cannot copy are the special skills of truly exceptional players, like the other members of the "Generation of Miracles". Beyond being a strong player in his own right, Kise respects Kuroko's abilities and wishes to play with him once again. He seems to have a slight obsession with Kuroko, believing that they were the two who got along most in middle school (though Kuroko said they didn't) and often blurting out random facts about him (mentioning that Kuroko was an Aquarius, even though Kasamatsu was talking about Midorima).

 

Also, he's a model in his free time, so girls are always mobbing him.

 

He has two older sisters who got him into modeling at the first place.

The phantom sixth member of the "Generation of Miracles." He has a very weak presence and often seemingly appears out of nowhere as a result.

 

At the first glance all of his abilities seem to be below average, but despite being bad at dribbling and shooting he can be a dangerous opponent. He specializes in circulating passes without being seen. Because of his largely complementary skill set, Kuroko considers himself a "shadow" whose goal is to help his "light" achieve greatness.

 

After being defeated by Aomine, Kuroko trains himself to evolve his play style. He overcomes his previous limitations, and has developed the ability to move past players unseen while dribbling the ball, creating his own 'vanishing' drive.

 

After his misdirection effect runs out, Kuroko can force the opponent to just focus on him, allowing his teammates to go by unnoticed.

 

Thanks to Aomine's coaching later on, Kuroko also develops some shooting skill, making his own shooting style called "Phantom Shot" where the ball disappears.

 

Akashi was the one who first encouraged Kuroko to awaken his ability in passing. Later on, Akashi was also the one who allowed Kuroko to join the first-string team.

 

Aomine and Kuroko used to be best friends, their skills largely complemented one another. When Kuroko screwed things up on his first match as Teikou's first string member, Aomine was the one who prevented Kuroko from being taken out, as he pleaded the coach to give Kuroko another chance, and if Kuroko screwed up again, Aomine will take responsibility and leave the team as well. Good for them, Kuroko showed his true potential and was approved as the team member.

 

But as Aomine's skills grow insanely strong and nobody was able to beat him, his and Kuroko's relationship grew further apart. Even though Kuroko encouraged him to keep doing his best because someday a strong opponent will surely come, Aomine wasn't convinced, and they stopped playing together ever since. Kuroko was really heartbroken by this, and following this event, all GoM members' talents start to blossom, and Akashi 'changed'. The team started to play individually, and nothing mattered more to them than winning. Kuroko as well, even though hurt, still played all the match without question anyway.

 

At some point, Kuroko watched Seirin High's basketball match. Kuroko was touched by their play and teamwork, and thought of them as a great team. He remembered the brief good old times he and his teammates used to have.

 

Although Kuroko proceed to play the matches with the rest of GoM's members, everything changed when Kuroko's old friend, Ogiwara and his team, played against GoM at the finals on their 3rd year. Kuroko was injured and so unable to play. He pleaded Akashi to take them seriously, but in the end, GoM didn't even see them as a worthy opponent. Ogiwara's team tasted a really crushing, painful defeat, while GoM wasn't even trying their best. Kuroko was really devastated by this, and he thought of quitting basketball.

 

Kuroko paid a visit to Ogiwara's school to apologize, but then found out that Ogiwara has quit the team. Once again devastated, one of the team member gave Kuroko Ogiwara's wristband, saying that Ogiwara wanted Kuroko to have it, that Ogiwara was never angry at Kuroko, and for Kuroko to never give up. Kuroko accepted the wristband, and with a brand new resolve, he returned to his school.

 

At the graduation ceremony, Akashi asked Kuroko to meet him. Akashi then asked Kuroko what his resolve is, and Kuroko answered that he will never 'run away' again.

It was a day passed from the practice match between Seirin and Kaijō high school basketball clubs! Kise was all excited and happy to play with Kuroko again. He always liked to spend time and play basketball with him though this time they were actually rivals. Heading out of the school, he felt like that he want to see his former teammate so he head to the Seirin high school fast. Standing through the gate, he stood and waited for the other to come though he had already prepared himself that he could suddenly appear in front or behind him. It wasn`t like that he wasn`t going to be surprised but he was used to it. Since they were best friends in Teiko middle school!

As the morning ticked on a short time limit to be at school, since most students didn't awaken until seven forty when class bells rang off at exactly eight is the clocks were all in tune. Which usually seemed indefinably impossible in Kaijō High School. All clocks ticked at least, at most, +2 seconds and -3 seconds. A small, short blue male made sure to count each one during each class on the first day at Kaijō High. Giving a soft sigh, sipping on a orange straw that dipped into his favorite-of-all-time milkshake; Oreo. Soon, Kuroko's mind lulled over the practice match between Seirin and Kaijō High School's Basketball club. He had analyzed everyone's movements, breaking them down. No one had really noticed him the first two points given to Seirin's Team. However, once he began to work his little hand tricks and cunning menovers, the team was thrown off and trying to see why the ball, heading one way, suddenly switched directions completely without anyone, or so thought, doing so. After one more huff, the boy peered up and noticed the rather cheerful blonde in front of him. Walking up like a normal shadow, silent as always, removing teh straw from his pale lips.

 

"Hello, Kise-kun." Kuroko said softly, same monotone voice as always. Watching the behind of Kise's back.

[Ryouta]

Kise as always jumped into the air as Kuroko called him from behind, he really had thought that he could take it and he was used to it but he was wrong, sweating a bit. He sighed and turned around, tried to slow his heart beats. "Kurokochi! You scared me!" He smiled gently at him after a few minutes and then puffed his cheeks. "I have really missed you" He jumped on his and hugged him tightly. "So, how have you been?" He said and then patted his hair. "Your team was really amazing, it managed to make our coach really mad at us! We were almost killed" He started talking as always as he walked through the road. "Wanna buy ice cream and hang around a bit?"

"I always scare you Kise-kun, always." Teh blue haired male said, face stoic. Kuroko's blue eyes widened as he was locked into Kise's "death squeeze", or so he calls it. Making a humming like, groaning noise in teh tightest section, before the other released his smaller body. Letting out a breath that was sucked into his lungs. "Fine, I guess." His minded tried to tug itself right back, analyzing and finding a pattern to teh other team's tactics, however, Kuroko shook his head and sipped his oreo milkshake, leaving it be for now. Due to teh habit of Kise constantly talking about something, it was quite normal for Kuroko to stare off, which usually got him easily forgotten about. But he noticed Kise mostly didn't forget about him... Unless he got hoarded by girls. then the other would leave with a heavy feeling (jealousy). Pulling together at 'icecream', the blue male slwoly shook his head.

 

"Sorry Kise-kun, Kagami-kun wanted me to practice one on one with him later." He said softly, bringing the orange straw back to his lips, giving soft sucks.

[Ryouta]

Kise got a bit sad and puffed his cheeks. "That`s so mean, I want to play with you too!" He clung on him and moved hi, by grabbing his shoulders. "I want to play with you guys! And also I want to know more about Kagamichi!" He said and winked. "Though if you don`t let me come, I won`t let you leave either and he must come to my model work place!" He said as he looked around. "So where should we go Kurokochi?" He said and continued eating his ice cream. He suddenly noticed two girls starring at him. He didn`t want to trouble himself with some again so he walked to Kuroko. "Please, do something that they get lost!"

The paler male just shrugged his shoulders, walking on as Kise returned to himself, soon seeing the girls that have been muttering and staring at the blonde basket ball player and model for a little bit now. Kuroko sighed gently, sipping his milkshake, most likely being invisible to the young girls like usual. Only a few small and adorable girls have ever noticed him and confronted him; but the little one would say he wasn't for nay kind of relationship and would... poof. However, instead of helping his stressed friend, he only turned his blue orbs at him.

 

"Kise-kun, go have fun. It must be boring around me anyway."

[Ryouta]

Kise looked at the other with shock and blinked ." Why are you saying that?" He saw the girls all getting closer now. He was in trouble. He tried to keep his usual face while shooting and smiled gently while they were coming closer. "Em...hello Kise-kun! We`ve seem your new photo book." "Yes,yes It was really amazing!" Kise walked at a bit back but the girls came even closer. "If you don`t mind, can we go and hang out a bit! We are starting to get bored!" Kise moved his hands in the air to refuse, he pointed at Kuroko and then rubbed the back of his hair. "Sorry! But as you can see, I`m with my friend so some other time!" He winked at Kuroko.

While the bright blonde paid attention to teh girls, even teh smallest amount of time, mere seconds, Kuroko had barely stopped walking. Only once to turn and watch Kise a moment, before moving on in his soft walk, sipping on the oreo milkshake in both hands, looking downward at teh ground as that... sinking, heavy feeling came upon him again. The same as every time the young, and old, ladies surrounded and bum-rushed Kise. Inside, it made teh blue male have true emotion instead of blankness. His smaller hands tightened around the chilly, slightly wet cup. However, he heard Kise say his name, and outline on where he used to be beside teh blonde (Like how anime's show a character has suddenly vanished in that dotted yellow line and arrows.)

[Ryouta]

Kise waved at the girl. "Sorry but I should go now!" He ran to the other and grabbed his shoulders, started moving them. "Mou~ Kurokochi! You are a big meanie!" Why didn`t you help me to get rid of those girls?" He wanted to tease the other a bit and then stood in fron of him and squeezed his nose with his fingers. "Are you by any chance jealous?" He chuckled ands then started walking, placing his bag on his shoulder. "Just joking! So let`s go!" He said and finished with his ice cream and started walking next to the other. "Hey, between Kagamichi and me, which one do you think is stronger?" He asked a bit curious about the answer. "You know, my classmates always curse me for being a model and having a good face since I can find a girlfriend easily but I don`t what is fun about hanging out with girls and have one! I don`t like girls a lot! I thing that I end up being single for the rest of my life!" He laughed and then continued walking though he didn`t know the court. "Will you show the rest of the way please?"

[Raven's Abyss]

The much shorted male just walked on, listening to, once again, Channel 5 Kise-Babble-On Show. {Its like what Americans call it.... Oprah.} He huffed, suckling from his milkshake as a bird took his attention on one of the many Cherry Blossom Trees in teh Schoolyard. The black bird, ruffled its feathers, before flying on from Kuroko's blue orbs. Until one statement caught his attention.

 

"Are you by any chance jealous?"

 

Kuroko's eyes widened slightly, only a bit from its normal round shape compaired to Daiki's. {Jealous? Is... could that possibly be it?} His orbs drifted downward, straw never leaving its soft place between his lips. {Could that be it? That heavy feeling? No, maybe its something else...? Maybe Kagami-kun would know.} Giving another sigh, the male peered over at the yippy blonde.

 

And gave a flat out, no hesitation answer. "Kagami-kun... but I don't know about Kagami-kun and Aomine-kun. They might be a tie."

[Ryouta]

Kise groaned. "Mou~ that`s too rude Kurokochi~" Kise said as they went to the court that Kagami was waiting. Kise managed a smile when he saw him then walked closer to him. In those moments. he wanted to crush him but he should acted normal and as usual. That was how he tricked people. He always showed that he is annoyed or mad about anything, and always relaxed but actually when he seemed more relaxed, he was more dangerous than other times.

 

Kise placed his hands inside his pockets. Walked closer than Kuroko to the red haired boy. He managed a grin and he raised his hand up and wave at the other though he looked pretty serious! "Hello! Kagamichi!" He saw the ball on his hands and his grin turned into an evil one! "What is it? You look cold! Is playing one on one with Kurokochi that much boring?" He asked and threw his bag at the corner. "Then let me have a one on one with you! Let`s see if you can even play basketball against me with your shadow!"

 

He said ads he fast ran to the other and stole the ball from him, started dribbling in front of him. "If you don`t defend the basket, I`m going to make the shot!"

[Raven's Abyss]

The red head scowled the moment the bright blonde came into sight, nearly blinding him. God how much he wanted to break the annoying jabber mouth into the court. And some time he planned on it too, however, this wasn't a real game, when he first met Kise he failed badly. Taiga grit his teeth.

 

(All I can put, dad being an ass. Just got home from work at 12 am (After night) and is kicking me off)

[Ryouta]

Kise looked at the with an evil grin on his face. "What is it? Kagamichi is already on fire, huh! Bring it on! I don`t care if you are going to try your best or not, the only thing that I can`t copy is Kurokochi`s movements. I can now copy all of your`s since I saw them all yesterday!" He said as he suddenly made a moved and passed by the other, jumped just like Kagami and made a dunk on the basket and scored a point.

"I'll pound you to teh court you brainless twit!" Taiga shouted and went after teh ball, turning sharply to look around. The blue haired boy was out of sight. But he knew better than to think that. Dashing to teh other side as fast as he could, red eyes looking out for Kise as he moved teh ball out of reach.... well, the best he could anyway. Skidding to a hault, Taiga jumped and tossed the ball, praying the boy would be there.

 

Thankfully, Kuroko was there and waiting, teh second his fingertips touched teh ball and spun in a complete different direction than before. Taiga sneered at teh blonde and side stepped, going for the ball that the blue haired teen had misdirected.
