Ezekiel's lip twitched at what Hannes said. "I killed my mother." He whispered out as he burried his face into his knees. "I liked it..." Another muffled whisper from behind his knees. This man was probably the first one to actually learn it. Probably because Ezekiel thought he'd be dead soon enough... The information would be useless if he was dead. His father probably already knew it was him who killed his wife, anyway.

The white-haired male didn't respond in any other way when the other one talked about his stupidity and height. Honestly, the boy had a bit of a complex about his height - he was twenty-three, he shouldn't be this goddamn short.. He was 5'2 at most. If he let his hair loose, he'd probably look like a girl!

“Man, you really are sick.” Muttered Hannes and rolled his eyes quietly. He didn’t really say anything after that, his dark blue eye focused on the other. It was still weird for him to not see the whole room… hell, he rarely even opened his other eye, not even wanting anyone to see the red orb behind the lid. Red was the only color that he could find, so that was the one that he used. Running a hand through his hair, he knocked the cap off, and let out another ragged huff.

Unlike the short man in front of him, Hannes was a staggering 6”1. He hated being that tall, honestly. It made him easier to see and more noticeable, given more people adored his height than hated it, especially women. Snapping his head to the side, he cracked his neck… it felt so much better after that. His hand still stung, though he didn’t complain. “What do you want for dinner?”

"You don't need to tell me that." Ezekiel nearly hissed out through the tears collecting in his eyes again. He couldn't even act right now, everything inside of him was just flooded with honest emotions, memories and... Guilt. The white-haired male found that last feeling very irritating. It was like a voice in his head, slowly getting louder, beating him over and over from the inside... Slowly killing him.

His blue eyes widened at the question and he lifted his head slightly to look at Hannes. He seemed honestly surprised. "...You mean you're not going to kill me by starvation?" He asked in a slightly shaky voice while his tears stayed in the corners of his eyes. He didn't like them either. The boy wiped them off by the sleeve of his shirt and shuffled back into the corner of the cage. Ezekiel honestly didn't care what he got to eat as long as he didn't die. Of course, he rarely got real hot meals... Meat, soup, pasta, fish... Those were foods he'd forgotten by now.

“I don’t have to tell you a lot of things, but I can if I want to.” Said Hannes in a rather dry, bemused voice as he rubbed the other side of his face, the glass eye still feeling rather weird in his face.. it was heavy, and just a marble covered in the wetness where his eye once was. Though that happened a few months ago, he still hated talking about how it happened and such.

“Why would I starve you to death? Unlike you, I at least have a strand of compassion for other people, and for animals.” Said Hannes with a rather loud yawn at the end, “What do you want anyways? I have fish, meat, vegetables… some crackers… not much, but I have some.” He never really knew what to eat. He already had problems choosing and problems deciding on stuff to consume… he never really had a taste for specific foods, so he never knew what to make.

Ezekiel didn't think he'd get annoyed by one simple sentence. This guy was probably the shittiest person alive... Ever. The white-haired male ignored the sentence outside, yet inside there was almost a storm raging. The boy drew his knees closer to himself to keep the warmth in as the man questioned why would he kill him. "If I was in your place, I'd starve me." He muttered out quietly, his voice a bit shaky both from the slight fear and cold. "I don't know." He murmured at the second question, his lips already a slight purple-ish color. "Haven't had warm food in weeks." The blue-eyed male added quietly as he glanced at the glass of water. If he drank and he had to pee... Would he have to do it here?

“Yes, I know that you’d starve you in that position, because you’re a cruel person, and you’ve already displayed that.” Hannes said this in a rather simple fashion as he stretched his arms upwards and then muttered, “Fine, we’ll be having meat tonight. That’s warm.” He didn’t even know why he was being so nice to the little white-haired brat. He should be starving him, but he wasn’t. “You’ll be eating in your cage. I don’t trust that you’ll not decapitate me if I let you out.” His voice was bland, and rather straight-forward.

Cruel person? It was cruel life that made Ezekiel into a cruel person in the first place. If he hadn't been stupid enough to attack his mother with a knife as self-defence when fear had gotten the best of him... He would still have his family. The white-haired male didn't realize when he started crying again. The man just nodded slightly at what he heard before hiding his face back into his knees. He felt weak... He was weak. How could a murderer be weak? That didn't make sense at all. Murderers were supposed to be strong and fearless... Emotionless. Ezekiel's shoulders began shaking as a choked sob left his mouth. Maybe if he'd cry and fall asleep, he'd wake up and realize it was just a long, bad dream...

Hannes sighed softly as he heard the choked cry of the other male in the room. Hannes didn’t really even care if the kid had a bad childhood or not. Because overall, it was the choice of the person. It didn’t matter who came into their life, who messed around, who did anything, because overall, the person still dictated their own decisions… no matter what, they were still responsible for themselves. “Stop crying.” Hannes said this with an edge of irritation in his tone before asking, “Oi, brat, what is your name? You never seemed to tell me that.” He was mildly curious… he didn’t want to call him by the “crimson” or “scarlet” whatever…

A soft hiccup left Ezekiel's mouth at the order, kind of. He bit down on his lip harshly to stop the tears, once again drawing blood that began rolling down his previously bloodied chin. The white-haired male just wanted for the other to leave so he could at least cry as much as he wanted to, then fall asleep. Maybe he wouldn't wake up again, but who cared... He was just a murderer, after all. The question, however, sparked the hope that Hannes saw him a bit as a human being as well. He had his killer name... And he had his own name. "...Ezekiel." He answered quietly, a shiver running through his body. It was seriously cold here... He didn't even bother askinh for the other's name. He probably wouldn't get his answer anyway.

“Ezekial?” He played with the name on his lips. It didn’t really come out properly, due to the fact that he had a heavy German accent. He couldn’t pronounce the name right to save his life. Rubbing his forehead the slightest bit, annoyed by his lack of capability to pronounce this well, he muttered, “My name is Hannes.” He said that rather simply as he rubbed one of his eyes, a small yawn escaping his mouth as he glanced at the other, “I’ll come back with food in maybe a hour or two.” He couldn’t guarantee when the food was going to be ready… Getting up off of the floor he then muttered, “I’ll come back with a pillow and blanket later.”

Ezekiel huffed quietly and frowned. "Ezekiel, not Ezekial." He muttered out quietly. Even if the mistake was small, he couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed by it. His name wasn't that hard... When he heard the other's name, the white-haired male was the slightest bit surprised. He was sure that this man wouldn't say it... Repeating it a few times in his head, the boy only nodded as he stared down at the crackers. He lifted up his head once Hannes spoke about the food and... A blanket with a pillow. Ezekiel felt a spark of gratefullness that definitely appeared in his eyes while a small smile appeared on his face. He didn't say anything after that - instead, he took a cracker and quietly began nibbling on it.

Hanes glanced at the other before saying, “I’m never going to be able to pronounce your name correctly. I’ll probably end up just calling you “Zeke”.” Stretching, he exited the room, closing the door behind him and locked it, and then made his way towards the kitchen. When he go there, he held a rather confused look in his eyes. He felt like something was missing, though he didn’t know what. Taking off his coat, he threw it on the counter, not really wanting the heavy object on his skin anymore. With just his tank-top on, he shivered the slightest bit before walking towards the closet and getting a sweater, slipping it on. He kept his clothes in the outer closet, given there was hardly any space anywhere else in the house. Walking back towards the fridge, he glanced inside. Fish seemed like a good option…

Ezekiel felt a shiver run through him when he was left alone in the dark again. He continued nibbling on the cracker before beginning to search his pockets for a single hair pin. He'd manage to pick the lock with that... The white-haired male still wished to escape. At least out of this damn cage. Although in this darkness it would be hard... With all of those dead faces staring at him with pleading eyes, Ezekiel thought he was going to freeze. In fact, his breath was coming out in white mist by now. His fingers did find the pin he always carried around, but he didn't even take it out yet. He couldn't do anything yet anyway. Maybe he could wait until Hannes fell asleep or something...

Quietly, Hannes started to prepare the fish. It was actually quite easy actually. He just sliced it up into thick slices. He decided that he was going to make a soup… it was easier that way, and there would be leftovers for them to eat later. He found the sake, the sesame oil, and vegetable oil, and poured the correct measurements into the pot, along with some water. He placed it on the oven and turned on the burner. The next thing he put in the pot was the fish. As that boiled, he started to cut up many different vegetables. Sprouts, garlic, mushrooms, ginger, and scallions… he’d make a half-decent meal. Putting the noodles into the broth as he saw the steam rise, he let out a rather small sigh. Why was he caring what the other wanted…? Letting out a rather small huff, he stretched and went back to dicing up vegetables.

Ezekiel was barely able to take the coldness by now. Didn't the other say anything about a blanket and a pillow? The white-haired male saw dead people all around him. He remembered each one of them... And yet, tears just didn't come out. He didn't want to be alone in this tiny cage anymore... The blue-eyed male curled up into a tiny ball again as his body shivered. He wasn't even feeling hungry anymore!

When the soup was finally done, the German man let out a rather annoyed groan as he ladled it out and put it in the bowl, slicing up a hard-boiled egg and put three pieces in the boy’s bowl. This was a recipe that his sister taught him how to make nearly ten years ago. She’d always make it for him when he was sad or sick, and it always cheered him right up. Smiling to himself, he held the bowl that already had the spoon in it with one hand, and found the keys to the boy’s room with the other. The bowl was rather small, just round enough to fit through the bars. He wasn’t going to risk opening up the cage. Making his way to the room, he unlocked the door and made his way in. Kneeling down towards the cage, he slipped the hot bowl of soup in and said, “I’ll go get you a pillow and blanket. Though once I open the cage, if you even try to run, I’ll teach you a lesson, did you hear me clearly, brat?”

Ezekiel's head shot up the moment he heard the door being unlocked. Hannes was back... Did he come with a blanket? His mouth watered the moment he saw the bowl of soup. Warm meal... The white-haired male didn't even hesitate to take it the moment it was placed on the ground. The burning in his hands now felt weirdly satisfying. Placing the bowl on his lap, the boy began eating rather quickly. If this helped fight the cold, hell, he would do anything. Soon enough, warmth enveloped his body from inside and he just absentmindedly nodded at what the German said. He didn't even care at the moment, to be honest. He just wanted to be warm as soon as possible. Ezekiel really looked like a child right now - eating the soup greedily, swallowing it with the most satisfied expression possible.

Hannes smiled the slightest bit as he watched the young boy eat. Stretching the slightest bit before he left the room, leaving the door opened, he grabbed a pillow and a blanket. The blanket was small, yet heavy, and would keep the young boy warm. The pillow was a bit firm, yet not too firm where it was hard to sleep on. Walking back into the room, he sighed, waiting for the small man to stop eating so he could give him his blankets and his pillow.

Ezekiel didn't pay attention to anything else around him as he ate. His hair fell onto his face, yet he didn't seem to care at all until the whole bowl was gone. He let out a soft breath before lifting his gaze up. Placing the bowl onto the ground, he returned to his corner, his arms around his knees. "I won't attack, I don't even have with what." The blue-eyed male said quietly as he took another cracker, quietly eating it as he waited. He wanted to get his blanket, so he wouldn't have to feel cold again...

Hannes sighed rather quietly as the younger male said this, his lip twitching the slightest bit. He did have a point... he didn't have any weapons like that. Though he did have hands and feet, and those could work as weapons sa well. With a huff, he took the key out of his pocket and unlocked the cage, quickly placing the blanket and pillow inside of the cold chamber, not wanting to risk anything. Locking the cage again so the other couldn't get out, the German man sat down on the floor, bored. There wasn't much to do in this town anymore, given the fact that everyone else was dead. It was a lonely existance, really. The only one to be able to offer company was the murderer.

Ezekiel decided that the best thing to do at the moment was patiently wait for the blanket and pillow to be tossed in. He didn't make any sudden movements as he reached out for the blanket at first, wrapping it around his small body with a soft, satisfied sigh. His blue eyes soon fluttered closed as he grabbed the pillow to, for the time being, put it underneath his body so that he wouldn't have to sit on the cold ground. He opened his eyes again when he realized that Hannes wasn't really going anywhere... And he needed to "go". "...I need to pee." The white-haired male said quietly, his eyes wide as he stared at the German.

He needed to pee? Oh, right. He forgot. That brat was also human. He forgot that he had a soul. How could someone who killed that many people ever be human. Rubbing his forehead in slight frustration, the young man stared at the white-haired boy, "Okay. I'll take you to the bathroom. But there will be punishment in place if you try to run." Hannes threatened this with a rather silky tone, keeping himself calm instead of showing anger... even though deep inside of him, he was seething. Carefully, he walked back to the cage and unlocked the door.

Ezekiel barely stopped himself from rolling his eyes at how careful Hannes was. All those threats were for nothing... He watched quietly as the door was unlocked. The white-haired male soon moved forwards and stepped out, a soft grunt leaving his mouth as he finally straightened out. His back hurt... The boy glanced up at the other with slightly pursed lips as he raised his brows. "See, I'm not doing anything." He said quietly as he cracked his neck and huffed. He was not going back into that cage.

Hannes glared at the other, his blue eye holding a rater cold look in it. That brat was being a snide little fucker, wasn't he? Letting out a rather annoyed groan, the tall raven lifted his hand and simply slapped the other with the back of his hand. With his other hand, yanking on the white strands of hair harshly, the German man still held his cool and collected voice, "You'll learn not to be snide with me, brat." His voice held a calm to it, uncaring, aloof demeanor to it. "Do you want to take a piss or know? I could always force you back into your little shithole and watch you freeze to death in your own piss puddle."

A soft gasp left Ezekiel's mouth as he stepped back slightly, his eyes wide as he gripped onto his cheek. As his hair was grabbed, he couldn't help but let out a soft whimper, fear slowly seeping in... With some other weird feeling. He couldn't really put a finger on what it was, but... It wasn't all that unpleasant. "Don't make me do that.." He muttered quietly, deciding to at least play as an obedient boy at the moment. He'd take back for this soon... He already had a bit of a plan, in fact.
