"you could just tell me what you wrote? in explicit detail" Arthur joked, taking another bite of his ice cream. "the more you refuse the more you make me want to see it" he pulled Ray into his lap to snuggle the boy.

"I'm okay, you have to see it either way when I am done with the chapter and I'm not done" Raymond tried not to blush anymore as he was pulled into Arthurs lap. The author gave in to the others cuddle, cuddling him in return. His blush was onyl starting to fade and feel a bit more comfortable but still on edge.

Arthur nuzzled him gently and let out an over dramatic sigh. "Fine, I guess I'll just have to be patient" he finished his ice cream and put the bowl down so he could hold Ray in a protective hug. "But you aren't allowed to let anyone else read it before me, okay?"

"Who else would I show..? It would be too embarrassing!" Raymond said at the very idea of showing another person the manuscript. It was always the most embarrassing part..the editor looking over the erotic manuscripts. The author snuggled into the protective hug a bit, liking the warmth. He felt silly and childish a bit but he liked it..

"good" Arthur smiled and kissed his boyfriend on the cheek. "it's bad enough that I'm going to have thousands of people read your erotic fantasies of us together, but you can't let anyone see that before me. What if you forget to change the names?" he teased with wide grin.

"I didnt forget to change the names and its fictional...not my erotic fantasies of us" Raymond tried to say with his bright red face. How embarrassing~! "You really want to see it that badly dont you..?" He tried to ask calmly but acted more embarrassed and shy than anything else. "I-If you must..you can look at whats done so far.."

Arthur smiled and hugged the boy tightly, nuzzling his face into Raymond's neck. "You don't have to show me, I just like to tease you" he pulled back a little to look the other in the face. "You're really cute when you get embarrassed like this... I'll get to read it soon enough"

;Raymond sighed in relief at not having to show him right now, tucking away back to where it belonged. He returned the others hug and was left unsure what to do now. As the arthur blush faded, he tried to think of anything to do or say. Nothing was coming to him as he looked around for something while getting paper to write more of the chapter.

Arthur pulled away and grabbed his notebook again. "time for more writing?" he suggested, opening up to the page he had been working on. "I've had enough of a break to start thinking of more ideas now" he hummed softly and started to write again.

"Get to writing then huh? If you want to win that bet of yours" Raymond said, happy to be distracted again into his writing. If he thought too much into it now..he would get flustered. If Victor saw this..Raymond shook his head and went to writing. He wrote slowly as he was trying to focus.

Arthur laughed and nodded. "I'm definitely going to win this" he said brightly. He turned back to his writing and began to work again, happy to be able to relax around Ray so much. He scooted a little closer to his boyfriend to snuggle as he wrote.

"If you are so confident then, you better start thinking of that..um..promise" Raymond said as he quickly turned his attention back to his writing. What if Arthur did win..? What would he have him do? The author bit on his bottom lip as he wrote..

Arthur turned to look at the other, his expression quickly turning to one of concern. "Hey... Are you okay?" he reached over to touch Ray's shoulder. "Don't worry about the bet thing... I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to do..."

"I'm fine..uh..hehe..not embarrassed or thinking about anything at all" Raymond laughed with a blush and tried to play off his own comment with more writing. Stupid stupid...keep your mouth shut..Raymond thought as he kept writing. He felt so embarrassed about it to look Arthur in the face..

Arthur raised an eyebrow and turned to watch the boy. "you're not thinking about anything at all? Or you just don't want to tell me what's on your mind?" He sighed softly and shook his head. "Ray, I don't want you to be so uncomfortable around me... if I'm doing something wrong then please tell me..."

"I don't want you to see what's going on in my head right now..Its too embarrassing!" Raymond said with a bright red face. Thinking such thought about Arthur, a real not fictional person, still made him feel weird. Thinking about every bit of a persons features...and wanting to keep them all to yourself.

Arthur blinked and scooted closer to Ray, a slight smile on his face. "it's too embarrassing? you keep making me curious with things like that..." he chuckled softly and lightly kissed the boy on the cheek. "why don't you tell me about all those embarrassing things and then I can tell you some embarrassing things I've been thinking about?"

"Thats p-perfectly all right..I am not sure I want to know what you are thinking either the way you are talking" Raymond voice stuttered over itself in his own embarrassment. He laughed quietly and knew every passing second was only making himself look more foolish and obvious. He was acting like a child and his crush or a child trying to keep a secret and failing miserably..

Arthur groaned and nuzzled his face into Raymond's neck. "Why do you keep teasing me like this? I just want to know what you're thinking about..." he murmured. "you're so shy around me..." He pulled away and sighed. "I really just want you to be comfortable around me..."

"Still..It's you..and saying weird stuff like that around you.." Raymond said with a bright red face. "Before..I wasnt thinking about real like situations to base writings on..and now.." The author spoke, face only getting redder every minute. "I need a drink..a cold cold drink" He said as he went to get up

"Ray..." Arthur sighed in disappointment and leaned back in the couch. "...do you want me to just go home for the night? I feel like I'm making everything way too awkward..." He looked down at his feet, feeling horrible guilty for making the other so uncomfortable.

"No please don't go..its not your fault" Raymond blushed as he held onto the others arms. "When I think about you..I don't know what to say. I would drink to express my feelings and when I drink I am able to say every little thigh I feel and can act in a way that shows how much I love you" The author started to say quietly. "But like now..I don't know what to do with myself. The words get stuck in my throat and just thinking about you gets me flustered" He turned a bit pink in the cheeks.

Arthur sighed and looked at him with a frown. "I don't want you to have to get drunk to tell me things... I'm trying to be relaxed and say dumb and embarrassing stuff around you so that you'll feel more comfortable doing the same, but it looks like I'm just making you more embarrassed"

"I want to be more open, really I do. I am not used to someone going out of their way for me" Raymind said with a small smile. "Someone who makes me laugh..blush..I want to be with you all the time if I could" Raymond kissed Arthr lightly on the lips. "Give me a chance..?" He asked in a whisper.

Arthur blushed softly at the kiss and smiled. "Did I ever say I was giving up on you?" He gently wrapped his arms around Raymond's waist. "I just want to do whatever will make you more comfortable around me... And it seems like being super flirty just makes things worst... Maybe I should tone it down a bit"
