Memories (Pigeon x Cakeassassin)

[Cakeassassin]

He started to run through his mind, trying to maybe, just maybe, he had something that would jog Lunu's memory. Like a picture or something of the sort. Taking out his phone he started to scroll through the pictures. There want one of Lunu in there but he had a three years back picture of himself that his mom took when he went to a park. In fact he had a lot of pictures that she took in there.

 

"Here." He said, showing him the picture. "Does it help at all?"

 

He left the phone on the couch and started slowly walking around the room. Pacing usually helped him to think, and he knew that Lunu going home wouldn't be a good idea. What if he was drunk and asked where he had been?

Lunu stared at the picture with a deep frown. He was defibateky the one in the picture... But he couldn't remember when it had been taken or anything about that place. He tried to concentrate but it just made his head start to hurt even more. He finally just put the picture down and shook his head. "It doesn't help at all...look , I'm just gonna call Aaron, you don't have to bother with me anymore..." He pulled his phone back out.

He sighed and sat back down. "You really shouldn't go back to him." Having the strong idea that Lunu was just going to snap and leave immediately instead of waiting for the man who was apparently named Aaron, he still said it because he knew that guys like that were never any good. Probably never will be any better either, not that telling him would make the situation any better. "I'll do whatever you need me too if you'll not go back. Even buy you a hotel room if you don't want to stay here, but I really want to help you... For some reason. Whether it's getting you to remember me or just keeping you out of trouble." He looked hopeful but tried his best not to appear desperate.

[Kotorichan]

"I'm sure had had some reason to stay with him..." Lunu murmured, rubbing his forehead. "I just can't remember right now..." He could only remember the sense of not having any choice about the relationship... but he had no idea what had happened... He turned his phone back on and stared at the screen before starting a text message. He paused and looked up at Beau. "uh, what's the address here? I need to tell him where to pick me up..."

He silently hesitated. Of course he didn't want to tell him, but that would both make him look like a creeper, which he probably already did, and Lunu would just find out himself so it wouldn't help any. He started telling him, going slow enough so he could punch it in as he said it. "You can wait inside of you want. It might be cool outside since you lost a lot of blood." He started looking at his own phone in order to feel less awkward, even though he wasn't doing anything but looking at the picture of a bird that was on it.

Lunu sent the text and looked over at Beau. "so... how did I used to know you?" he asked with a slight frown. "were we close or did we just have a couple classes together at school?" he furrowed his brow as he tried to remember. He wasn't sure if he could trust this man or not... if he could then he might be able to count on him incase things went bad with Aaron again.

Scratching the back of his neck he thought. "I guess you could say we were close..." He wasn't sure if just outright saying, yeah we were close would be seen as him lying and being manipulative of the situation so he tried to put it sensitively but it just came out sounding vague. He started saying some things that he has done that Lunu might remember but stopped when he thought that this might overwhelm him. "Whether or not you remember me sooner or later just know that if you ever need to you can come here. Even if it's just to take your anger out." Saying this he leaned back and sighed lightly for no particular reason.

[Kotorichan]

Lunu sighed and nodded. "I'll keep that in mind..." He pushed a loose strand of hair out of his face and frowned at the sight of a new text message. He read it and looked up at Beau. "Do yo mind if I stay here for the night? He's still mad and so he doesn't want to pick me up..." Lunu lightly rubbed the back of his head, it really hurt... He was starting to remember more of the past couple of years, but nothing that had Beau in it...

He smiled softly and nodded. "Of course! He chuckled. "I just told you you could." With a light tone he accepted the request. Kind of relieved that he wouldn't need to sleep, wondering if Lunu would be okay with that guy. He couldn't understand how people would stay with abusive partners, but he had to resist talking about it since it was Lunu's business, not his. He glanced at his watch and saw that it was pretty late and sleep was always the best medicine. Or was it laughter? Shrugging lightly he walked over to the nearby closet and reached up high where he kept the extra blankets, pillows and etcetera. "Would you rather sleep on the couch or in an actual bed?" Being aware that the question's answer would usually be obvious he still asked; he might have wanted to sleep on the couch because he wouldn't feel trapped in a room. Not to mention that Beau's room was the only room with a bed.

[Kotorichan]

"I'll just sleep here..." Lunu said softly, closing his eyes. "I'm too tired to move...." He felt completely exhausted. His memories of the past couple of years were becoming clear again, but everything before he left home was in complete darkness. He still had no idea how he knew Beau or if he could even trust the other man.

[Cakeassassin]

Smiling them quickly looking away he put a pillow on the couch and set some white blankets on him. Sitting down on a nearby chair he started thinking about the situation. It was probably hopeless to try to get him to regain his memory and he should've just stopped trying but he couldn't convince himself to. Even though he wasn't planning on falling asleep he kept nodding off, feeling too lazy to move.

[Kotorichan]

Lunu fell asleep after just a few moments. His dreams were full of memories, mostly bad ones, and every once in awhile he felt like her remembered a few moments of being with Beau. But before his dream could tell him anything he awoke with a start from his phone beeping. He groggily pulled it out of his pocket and read the message with a frown.

Seeing as he fell asleep in the chair nearby he jumped and nearly slipped off the chair. Noticing that it was Lunu's phone he squinted to focus his vision and noticed his negative expression. "What's wrong Lo- Lunu?" He asked, quickly preventing himself from calling him Louis, which would be a hard habit to break, seeing as he always knew him as Louis until just a few hours ago. It would probably be better to call him his "new name", at least for now.

[Kotorichan]

Lunu's shoulders slumped and he lightly pressed the phone to his forehead. "I still can't remember you... I-I remember a lot more than last night... But I don't remember anything before the day I met Aaron..." He shut his eyes and tried to hold back tears. "fuck... now I wish I hadn't remembered any of those things... it's just gonna be harder to go back to him now" he laughed softly "I'm so stupid"

He tensed when he said that. From the sounds of it, whatever reason that Lunu was staying with Aaron wasn't exactly a so-called good one. There wouldn't be a good reason but still. He looked Lunu in the eye. "You need to tell me if you're being forced to stay with him. He's apparently a psychopath and there is no way I'd let him trap you. I even said I'd buy you a hotel room if you don't want to stay here." He said this sternly, he knew it was none of his business but he had some ideas. Even if they may seem farfetched they would make sense of everything. "Please tell me Lunu. I don't want you getting hurt anymore, even if you never remember me it doesn't matter."

[Kotorichan]

Lunu moved his phone away from his face to look at Beau. "Don't be stupid..." He said after a moment of silence. "This isn't the kind of thing you want to get involved in... If I rely on you then I'll just cause more trouble than I'm worth... " he slowly sat up, wincing at the pain in his head. "Just forget I was ever here..."

[Cakeassassin]

"I can't just forget that you were here. And I know you're worth this so-called trouble." He thought for a second and breathed in to speak again. "It doesn't matter what it is either. If it's for you then it could be that a demon wants your soul and I'd still do everything in my power to help you. So, please..." Trailing off he held onto his own sleeve and lightly bit his lip in habit. He felt like his words kind of slipped from him but they were true so he wouldn't take them back.

[Kotorichan]

Lunu looked up at him with a frown. "How can you just say that? You don't even know what I'm involved in... Would you still be saying that if you knew I-" He cut himself off and looked away. "n-never mind, look... You're nice, I don't want you to end up in some serious trouble because of me... I don't know who I was to you, but I'm obviously not that person anymore"
