Li-ya's shoulders slumped fearfully. "I-I'm sorry... Its just that all these things are so scary..." He lightly chewed on his lip as he tried to think of how to explain himself. "It's not that I don't trust you... But it's all so new.." He lightly pushed his hair back out of his face and looked at the human. It wasn't fully true that he trusted this person, this had been the person responsible for the death of all his friends...

"I understand, so don't apologize. It'll take some getting used to, but you'll catch along quickly after the first few days. I just know it." His eyes stayed on the other's, actually noticing how beautiful those eyes were. I twas opposite from his red, fiery ones; Li-ya's were certainly weaker, but had some sort of soothing quality to them. Most likely the green color. Haruto lowered his gaze from Li-ya's face to his legs. Furry. Hooves. In-human. Fascinating. He wanted to know if all of the spirits had deer legs or those from a different animal, but it was a touchy subject- so he left it be. "You are a stunning creature. Are you aware of that?"

"S-stunning?" Li-ya felt his face heat up in a blush. "I'm really not that special... I just look different than humans" He looked away nervously. "You look really interesting too... But I'm sure I'm just interesting because you haven't seen a spirit before..." He tucked a long strand of hair behind one of his horns. He felt strangely embarrassed by the man's words, even though he knew it wasn't in a way that he should find embarrassing.

He shrugs, "Possibly. Though I'm sure under all that dirt is a very cute image. You'll have to take a bath of course." Haruto had no shame into saying what he thought most of the time. Li-ya looked cute; may as well say it, right? "Even if you had human legs, I'd say the same." Ah, and didn't the little spirit say he looked 'interesting'? A smirk played on his face, taking the small compliment well.

Li-ya blushed softly at the compliment and looked down at his feet. "T-thank you..." He said softly, unsure of how to respond to the humans words. The spirit fidgeted with a strand of his hair. "Um... So how much longer will we stay in this box?" He gestured to the elevator, it was starting to be hard to stay in such small spaces. He was used to bring able to stretch his legs whenever he wanted.

Speaking of the 'box' it had suddenly stopped and opened up before Haruto even got a chance to reply, "... Not much longer," he laughs and steps out into the small hallway, a single door at the end of it, while taking out his keys, "I don't recall if I said this before, but I'd like you not to touch or sit on anything until you wash up, okay? Everything is new and I don't want anything to dirty and--"

Haruto hadn't even made it to the door when it had already burst open. There was a younger man standing in the doorway with long, pink hair that was tied into a ponytail- the suit he was wearing resembled Haruto's exactly. The distressed look on his face came out in his voice, "Sir, you're back later than I thought! I was becoming so worried!"

Li-ya hurried to stay right behind the human, looking around with wide eyes full of curiosity. "okay, I'll be careful" he agreed, even though he wanted to touch everything just to see how it felt. He jumped and looked up when he heard a door suddenly open, but when he saw the man with pink hair he completely panicked. That wasn't a normal hair color was it? He had never seen any kind of animal with pink fur! This couldn't be a human and he came out so suddenly, it must be a monster! He tried to quickly back away from the stranger, but his hooves were more accustom to the uneven ground in the forest and so he almost immediately slipped on the smooth floor and fell on his back. His eyes filled with tears and he let out a pitiful whimper in fear and pain.

"Li-ya!" He gasped and turned around hearing something hit the ground. Not minding the other person just jet, he crouched down and lifted the back of the spirit's head into his hand and tried to get him to sit up at least, "Akuma, didn't I tell you to leave when you were finished?" Haruto sounded the most annoyed he'd been today. Why? Because someone saw Li-ya. It ruined everything... as long as the pink haired man kept shut.

"I.... Wh... What is that?" The assistant stuttered and took a step away, asking breathlessly, "Is that a monster? What are you doing bring a monster into your house, sir?!" His pink colored eyes widened at the sight of this... animal? It had hooves and horns, yet there was the face of a human.

God. The both of them were terrified of each other.

Li-ya looked up at Haruto with wide eyes and struggled to sit up, the back of his head was pounding with pain. "W-what is that? It's pink are humans usually pink? I've never seen a pink human! I-is it sick? Is it contagious?" The poor spirit tried desperately to control his panicked breathing. He wanted to hold onto Haruto for safety since he was the only vaguely familiar thing in this whole room, but he knew he would just get yelled at again if he did.

"S-Sick? I'm not sick!" Akuma protested loudly, though there was a sickly discoloration to his face. It was white in fear. " Haruto raised up his hand his with pointer out, telling the young man to polietly shut the hell up, which he thankfully did, but it didn't stop Akuma from mumbling to himself. He just wanted to give himself answers for what he didn't understand. He could have guessed it was a new downloadable for the Holo-Head, which was what could change your appearance with a hologram, but the creature didn't have that at all. It was real. And that made it all the scarier.

Haruto gave his full attention to Li-ya, stroking his cheek gently to try and calm him down, the dirt on his face coming in contact with his skin would normally set of some-sort of reaction, but not only was he at his Home Base, the man didn't want his new little spirit to fear anything in this new world. In the most calming voice he could pull off despite his annoyance to Akuma's presence, he said, "His hair isn't actually pink. The color was just changed, Li-ya, he isn't sick and he isn't going to hurt you... He's just as scared as you are."

"I'm n-not that scared..." The assistant mumbled shakily under his breath.

Li-ya managed to slow his breath to a normal pace. He leaned into Haruto's hand, his gaze never leaning the human's face. "r-really?" he mumbled. The man was all that Li-ya felt he could rely on right now, he was far away from home and didn't even know how he could get back to the forest if he wanted to. He just knew that Haruto could have hurt him long ago, but hadn't... He had to trust this human now, otherwise he couldn't try anyone or anything.

He smiled and motioned his head to Akuma, "Yes. He's a big baby... but he's also someone I can trust, even though he neglected to follow my instructions." He made sure the assistant could tell how upset he was, but at the same time, kept his voice nice and low. It also go the pink haired man to stop his shaking and look down in his own disappointment. Haruto faced the other man, "This is Li-ya and I'd like you to introduce yourself kindly to my guest."

Biting his lip, Akuma looked to the spirit and then back to his boss before digging up a wry smile, "I'm... A-Akuma, Haruto's personal assistant. It's nice to," he gulped, "Meet you?" Why was he forcing him to do this? He really should have just left when he had to, but he had done something...

"Um... I'm Li-ya... I-I'm a forest spirit..." Li-ya said quietly. He looked up at the new human with an expression of hesitant curiosity. "Are you Hauto's friend?" He asked. The two didn't seem to be fighting, and even though Haruto didn't seem exactly friendly, the spirit couldn't think of any of explanation. He didn't understand the concept of a boss and an employee, and he didn't think that humans usually formed packs like wolves did...

Before responding, he looked to Haruto as if looking for the answer to Li-ya's question. When he received nothing but a sharp stare, which was expected since he wasn't even supposed to be there, Akuma took a deep breath and gave the best he could, "I'd say so. I've been around for about two years and still going... Um. But really, I just work for him. I do whatever he tells me to." Akume turned to his boss again, who didn't change his expression until his red eyes had met the spirit's.

Haruto smiled and urged Li-ya up off the floor, taking under his arm so the spirit wouldn't fall again, "Yes, indeed. Now thats past us, Akuma, tell me you at least got us lunch as I asked." By helping Li-ya, his white suit was becoming even dirtier than before, but the man had somehow gotten past it. At least for now.

Li-ya's hooves scrambled to find footing on the smooth floor, he was fully relieved to be able to lean on Haruto for now. "how do you walk on this so easily?" he mumbled. The spirit looked up at Akuma. "um, what do you mean you work for him?" He asked, trying to make some sense of the situation.

"Like... I schedule things for him; if he has an appointment or meeting to go to, I make sure I keep note of that and remind him," he tapped his chin and looked to the side, "Um. I could run errands for him or take his clothing to the cleaners..." His odd colored eyes looked to Haruto. Anyone who knew the man, or has at least spent time with him for 30 minutes, would know how much of a clean freak he was- how much he hated getting dirty. And right now he was holding onto this creature that screamed it. What was going on?

Judging be the expression Akuma was giving him, Haruto figured the younger man was confused on his actions. He couldn't care less, "Come, Li-ya," he began to lead the spirit inside the open door, "I'm tired of being out in the hallway like this."

If there were a set of three words that would describe his penthouse... they would be: White, clean and WHITE. Everything was white. The floor, the large L shaped sofa, the walls, the light fixtures, the kitchen, all the chairs, the rug in the monster sized room... Anything that wasn't white was made out of glass. Though the place was deathly white, nothing looked cheap. Because nothing was cheap.

Li-ya stayed close to the human and looked around with wide eyes. Nothing in the room looked the least bit natural, all the white reminded the spirit of bones that had been picked clean of all the flesh. He shuddered at the idea and looked down at the floor, trying not to show how frightened he was. It seemed pathetic, even to him, to be afraid of the objects in the room. Nothing looked dangerous but the strange, sterile, perfect made him uneasy. It didn't help that Haruto had sounded very protective of his possessions. It would be easy to tell is Li-ya damaged anything and he didn't want to think about what Haruto would do if anything ended up stained or broken.

"Akuma. Draw a bath for my guest. Warm water, please." No, Haruto wasn't crazy or insane to be living inside white walls, the man wasn't joking when he said white was his favorite color. It meant clean. It meant perfection. It meant creativity. He had to bask in the wonderful thing that was his home before how unsettled Li-ya looked, "Are you alright?" the man asked smiling while the pink haired assistant went to fulfill his order, "It's quite different from what you're used to, like everything here, but like I said before, you'll get used to it in no time."

"it just seems so... empty..." Li-ya said nervously. "and won't you be mad if I break anything?" He looked up at Haruto with wide eyes, he really didn't want to upset the human. "everything looks like it'll fall apart if I touch it..." The spirit lightly chewed on his lip, afraid that he could get yelled at for even saying something like that.

"Break anything?" he laughed and took Li-ya over to a glass table and slammed his fist on it as hard as he could. The piece only rattled under the force, but besides that, it was perfect, without a scratch, "Nothing is going to break unless you try very hard to. As for my place being 'empty', that's just your opinion. And even though you're wrong, I respect it." He smiled at the forest spirit reassuringly, "I just don't want you dirtying anything; and that rule won't apply after you wash up."

Li-ya jumped when he saw Haruto hit the table. His eyes widened when it didn't break. "it looks like a bubble... how did it not break?" he had never actually seen glass like this, and so assumed that it would just fall apart as soon as it was touched. "is this your... technology?" he looked up at the human and tilted his head to the side. He wanted to learn more about this type of life.

Haruto felt so warm to inform this astray spirit about what the real world has 'come to'; he took pride in telling people things they didn't know already-- maybe a little too much pride for his own good. Patting the table gently this time, the red head explained, "This glass is normal, but us humans created a special coating that can protect it from anything from a slam of my hand to a tackle from a football player. It's very impressive, I know. We have robots, well, some of us do, and even mechanical pets that talk."

"Ro... Bots? Foot... ball?" Li-ya repeated the unfamiliar words with a perplexed expression. "what are those? Is that more technology?" He tried to imagine what those things might be, the mental images made him shudder. He was imagining some kind of modification that turned people's feet into spheres and people with no bodies and just limbs. It sounded terrible.

Oh my this one had a lot of work in store... "My robot is currently under maintenance, at the shop getting some repairs and upgrades. It'll be ready by tomorrow, then you can see it. Football is a game big, strong people play with a weird shaped ball, I don't know much about it either. I don't care about sports all too much." In the corner of his eyes, Haruto noticed his pink haired assistant wave them over, "Ah. Li-ya, it's time. You do know how to wash yourself with soaps right?"

"What are soaps?" Li-ya asked with a confused frown. He knew how to wash himself, but had never heard of soap. "is that more technology? Does that make me more clean than just water?" He wanted to know more about this world, but it was all so confusing that he had no idea how to understand it all...
