Kotorichan
Li-ya's happy expression fell into sadness as he realized that he made a mistake. "oh.. do humans not do that? I just know that wolves lick each other to be friendly..." He scooted away and tugged at a blanket until he pulled it over his head. "I'll just follow your lead from now on... you can show me how to act like a human, okay?" he asked, peeking out at Haruto with a pleading frown. "i don't wanna make more mistakes..." KuroBear
The man waved his hand and nodded, "Y-Yes, of course... For now, just know that human's don't lick one another like that. Normal people shake hands. People who are close can hug sometimes. Lovers kiss each other. It really isn't hard as far as that goes, but yes, I will teach you overtime more detail..." Haruto took a deep breath, calming down to which the color in his face disappears, "I think it's time for sleep. Wouldn't you?"
Kotorichan
"Yes... I think sleep would be good" Li-ya reached out and lightly gripped the edge of the man's shirt. "are you going to sleep here with me?" he asked. It seemed like it would make the most sense, animals slept together for warmth and safety so why wouldn't humans? Besides, the bed was far large enough for them to share.
KuroBear
After clearing his throat, Haruto shakes his head and removes Li-ya's hand from his shirt, "No, little spirit. Another thing about humans is that we don't share the same beds unless you are family or are lovers. We aren't any of that, so you'll be here alone. I have my own room and my own bed." He smiled softly and began to walk out, "If you feel lonely, just remember that I'm right next to this room. You aren't alone for real anymore." Kotorichan
"Oh..." Li-ya looked away, clearly disappointed by the news. "I guess I'll just see you in the morning then.." He pulled the covers up over his head and curled up in a ball in the center of the bed, ready to go to sleep like that. The spirit wasn't full confident that he'd be able to fall asleep very easily in this new place, especially since he'd fallen asleep in the car. He had to choke back tears of homesickness as he remembered the little den that he always slept in...
KuroBear
Li-ya's feelings of sleeping alone were aparent in his voice. It made Haruto's smile weak, but he knew that there wasn't anything he could do about it; sleeping with another person was simply out of the question... He turned off the main lights before stepping out if the room and closing the door, uttering the spirit a 'goodnight' under his breath. If Li-ya was scared of the dark, he wouldn't have to worry, for the bottom trips of the walls glowed light green in the dark; a useful thing to have when the guest wants to get up or leave the room. Â And with leaving the spirit alone for the first time today, the man left to his own room with the new silence of the house being odd. Was he already so used to talking with Li-ya? Apparently so, because laying flat on his bed, Haruto felt more bored than usual... More alone. That feeling was always present in his home when it got dark, and now it was all unsettling. The spirit was giving him more strange affects than he originally thought.
Kotorichan
Li-ya peered out from under the covers after the human left. His eyes widened at the sight of the glowing parts of the walls. "technology..." he murmured. The spirit pulled the blankets and pillows off the bed and formed them into a comfortable pile next to the soft glow. He curled up and closed his eyes, imagining that the light was from stars. After a few minutes he fell asleep, exhausted from the long day he had just gone through. KuroBear
Haruto tried to sleep normally in bed, but his eyes wouldn't stay closed... Now with no disruptions, it was now his mind that was too loud to fall asleep. He kept thinking about how sad of a thing the last forest spirit really was. No friends, no family, no one. Even Haruto had people even though he liked some alone time every so often. Was there any way to revive the spirits who passed along with the tearing down of the trees? Maybe if more of the forest was restored, another spirit could return and make Li-ya feel so much more better than he ever could. Â The time read 11:20pm, and still he was unable to rest. Haruto got up from bed and patted his way to the occupied guest room to check on the spirit. He saw Li-ya in his best if blankets on the ground my the wall. Why? He ha no idea, but whatever it was, he smiled a bit- happy at the least that the little spirit was in a place he was more comfortable at... Right? No matter. Haruto closed up the room again and headed back to his own to actually sleep this time.
Kotorichan
The sound of the door opening roused Li-ya a little. He sleepily opened his eyes and looked around, but immediately fell back asleep. He woke up just before dawn and crawled out from his pile of blankets. It took the spirit a moment to remember where he was. Li-ya tried to stand up but immediately slipped and landed on the floor with a thud. "stupid ground..." He mumbled, still feeling sleepy and a bit grumpy.
KuroBear
The sound of something hitting the ground interrupted Haruto in one of the most dirtiest actions in his every day routine. Sweat covered his skin and made his skin seemingly glisten, a pretty body with a sexy glow never hurt anyone... The red-head panted heavily, tired from the previous actions that made his body tense, but ready for anything. He pressed a button that slowed the treadmill to a stop, "Li-ya?" He called out, unsure if the spirit was awake, toweling off his chest with a rag. Early morning workouts were very sweaty and gross, but so was a body that wasn't clean on the inside! His heath was on point~
Kotorichan
"I'm okay" Li-ya called in response to his name. "I just fell down." he rubbed his forehead and sat back down on his pile of blankets to look at is feet. He knew that the ground was too smooth for his hooves, and he was really sick of falling down all the time. After a moment he tried to stand up again, only to slip and fall down again. With a sigh he curled up under the blankets.
KuroBear
Haruto heard Li-ya's attempt to get up and laughed quietly to himself as he wiped up his sweat with the towel more before putting on a t- shirt. "Y-You're awake already? I didn't expect you to be up until the sun rose at the least... Are you okay?" He came into the room with his water bottle in hand, looking to the pile of blankets he knew were the little spirit. With all that had happened all together the previous day, he actually expected Li-ya to be asleep until the afternoon.
Kotorichan
"I always wake up early... And I slept on the way here..." Li-ya poked his head out of the blankets to look up at the man. "I want to walk... But it's too slippery, its even worse than walking on a big wet rock." He seemed to pout slightly in frustration. "I want to be able to walk around... Why can't I?" He pulled the blankets over his head again. He was still pretty tired, but it was hard for him to sleep for a long time even when he wasn't in a completeky different place. KuroBear
Haruto thinks for a second with a smile on his face to contradict the other's pout, "... I think I know what I can do." Haruto makes his way back to the dresser and snags a pair of black socks. It was a simple invention taken to the advanced; the fabric was made to fit all sizes, the tiny strands of elastic inside were created to band around the tiny feet of a kid to a man, Haruto for instance! "It's hard to walk because there's less traction for your hooves to stand on, because the floor is smooth... but... with these, socks, it'll be easier to walk on because of something called friction, but let's not go there just yet... And I'm going to need you to give me your hooves."
Kotorichan
Li-ya pushed the covers back a little and blinked up at the man. "Okay..." He rolled over onto his back and held his legs up for Haruto to put the socks on. His expression was a little skeptical, the spirit didn't think that the 'socks' looked like they could make much of a difference... But it was worth a try. Besides, there was all sorts of amazing technology stuff in this new world, maybe he socks were just as amazing. Li-ya wiggled his hooves impatiently, eager to try the socks on. KuroBear
Getting on his knees, he grabs up one of the spirit's wiggling hooves, smiling at his adorable excitement, "Try and stay still, Li-ya, you're making this a bit hard." Slipping on the first white sock up the hoof, he sees the fabric fit around it's new surface like a glove, "The first... and..." he takes the other hoof and puts it on there as well, "-the second! How does it feel?" He moves back slightly, waiting to see what Li-ya did with his new socks.
Kotorichan
Li-ya wiggled both legs to make sure that the socks wouldn't fall off before rolling onto his stomach and slowly pushing himself up to a standing position. The spirit's eyes widened as he found that he didn't slip on the smooth floor. "Ah! It's not slippery anymore!" He squeaked, delighted. Hopped back and forth on his feet. "Socks! Socks, socks, socks..." he hummed happily as he stayed upright. "Thank you Haruto!" He beamed up at the man, excited to finally be able to walk on his own.
