[18+] Rivals in Love (Virtualoo x Rem)

"If you are done, want to order any dessert to take home? It is on me.." Asuki smiled as he didnt want to have to go home right now. Maybe if he was lucky, those people were out drinking or something. 'I can always help you study at your house or whatever..probably better than a library next time we work?" He asked with a smile. Was he this desperate that he actually wanted to spend more time with him?

[Remalade]

"Nah, I've had enough sugar this week. It's bad for my stamina." Minato shook his head. "And we can go there right now if you want...." he added. The athlete was a bit embarrassed to take him to his empty house. Asuki probably had two loving parents that were almost there to take care of him, whereas he basically lived alone. But for some reason, he still felt alright with Asuki coming over. Maybe it was because he didn't want to be alone. Or maybe he even wanted to spend more time with him?

"Now? Like right now?" Asuki asked with a small nervous laugh. "Well sure if you want to go right now.." Asuki shrugged as he stood up. "Lead the way then" The student spoke with a fake and exaggerated bow. "Get that extra tutoring in so you have a fighting chance to pass" He joked as he waited for Minato to come with him.

Minato shook his head at his antics as he stood up. "Quick question, have you always been this much of a dork?" he laughed, gesturing to his bow. "Yeah, make fun of me all you want, just wait until you see that big red "100" on top of my paper." Minato led him out of the diner and down a side street. Luckily, his house wasn't too far from here.

"That would be a hell of a turn around for you!" Asuki joked back with a small laugh. "I mean, with how you are doing at least you should pass if you dont slack off or anything.." He said after remembering his progress, half-a-compliment for Minato..sort of. "And maybe I have been..I have to be positive on something" Asuki laughed as he walked alongside him.

[Remalade]

"Was that a compliment I just heard? You're getting soft, Asuki. I'm actually starting to miss your insults." Minato teased as he walked. After a few minutes, they came to the athlete's home. He fished his keys out of his pocket and let them in, stopping to drop his bag and slip off his shoes. He didn't bother to call out that he was home, knowing there would be no one there to answer him.

"Quit it! Its thank to me you will probably just maybe pass anyway.." Asuki mumbled as he stepped inside. It seemed awfully quiet in here..He thought in the back of his mind as he stepped inside. Asuki wasn't sure what to do or say first, hoping Minato would say something first.

[Remalade]

"My parents are working late tonight so they won't be home until after you leave probably. We can go into the living room or my bedroom, it doesn't really matter." He shrugged. By looking around the house, one would wonder if anyone even lived there. Everything was neat and orderly, and the furniture looked like it hadn't been touched or moved in ages. In addition to his parents never being home, Minato hardly spent time here either. He much rather preferred to spend time practicing after school or hanging out with his friends. After all, what was the point of coming home only to sit in his room alone?

Sorry for the very long delay

 

"Really nice place.." Asuki said quietly as he looked around. It seemed so big and vast and clean..it looked like a real home. Not like his chaos of a home..his chaos of a room. The teen looked over at Minato and said "Living Room is fine" with a small nod. "You have all the books and what not?" He shrugged as he went to walk toward the living room.

Minato simply shrugged at his statement and led him into the living room. He didn't enjoy being home, so he didn't really see his home as particularly special. "Yeah, but I think I left one on my desk." He muttered. The athlete took a quick trip to his room to grab one of his notebooks before returning and sitting down on the couch.

"We don't have to study as intensely as the study session. Most of it will just now be practice to make sure you are ready" Asuki spoke as he got comfortable on the couch. While the student searched for the book in his bag, he had to remind himself to check again on his eye before he left here today.

Minato nodded and opened up his notebook to a blank page to write out a few equations. After a few minutes, he had solved most of them without any help. He was doing alright until he got to a particularly difficult one. "Asuki, how are you supposed to factor polynomials again?" he asked, leaning over to show him the paper.

"On this one? You just take this number and this number and.." Asuki said, using his own pencil right next to the others hand to show him the problem, leaning closer to see it. "..And there you have it. I guess you might pass this test after all' The studnet said, trying to compliment with a smile.

[Remalade]

Minato swallowed subconsciously when Asuki leaned in next to him. He wasn't exactly nervous, but having Asuki so close to him set his heart beating a bit faster and he wasn't sure why. When the problem was solved, he realized why he couldn't understand it and tried again, this time getting it right. "See, told you I wasn't that dumb." He countered with a grin, glancing up from his book at Asuki again. He noticed the bandage over his eye again and was struck with an idea. "Is your eye feeling okay? If you need to change the bandages, I think I have more in my room...." he offered.

'Thanks, I have not had the chance to change them. And give you a small break, heck, never thought I would say this...and dont get cocky but..you deserve it..a little I guess" Asuki smirked as he closed his book. It was nice to tease yet it was in a friendly way somehow. Far from friends he would call ti but something felt different in the last few days.

since the last post took awhile to post awhike back I should have added the mention to help :3 how are you by the way?

"Hey, be nice or no bandages for you." Minato laughed as he stood. He went back to his room to grab some fresh bandages and a bit of antibiotic ointment that he had laying around. When he returned, he tossed the ointnent to his classmate. "Catch, nerd. It will heal better if you put a little of that on it before I put the bandages on." he advised, sitting down next to him.

Asuki easily caught the ointment, putting it on his eye with a gentle caring hand. It did feel a little better..He thought to himself as he was applying the ointment. "There..you are good at the bandages so you can wrap it.." Asuki said quietly, hating he could trust Minao enough to let him do it. Now..he will have tod ESL with going to the games after the test if he passed with a really good grade..it was and to imagine but as the days went on he could see it. Like an imminent sign of what was to come.

"I'm good at it? Are my ears decieving me? You're actually giving me a compliment?" Minato teased, unwrapping enough bandage for his eye. It was starting to heal up, but it still looked painful. He found himself hoping that Asuki was feeling okay. As he finished up, he sat back with a proud grin. "All done, kid." he added.

Asuki glared at him for getting cocky over the small compliment. He still let him continue, touching the bandage afterwards. Minato did a pretty good job..Asuki thought to himself. "Thanks I guess.." Asuki said quietly. He wasn't sure what to do now, having done the practice earlier. The test was tomorrow or the day after? How would his tutoring have helped..?

Minato nodded and flopped back down on the couch, his shirt riding up a bit to flash a bit of his toned abs but he didn't notice. "Alright, the test is tomorrow during 5th period, and I think I actually have a chance now. When I look at the paper, I actually know what I'm doing for once." he shrugged. "So you'd better start picking out a cheerleading uniform." he smirked.

Kyandi looked over at him as he laid back, getting a glimpse of really good looking toned abs. Good looking? He tried to shake himself of such thoughts as he heard Naoki talk about getting a cheerleading outfit to go to his games. "In your dreams, I'd just be going, no way in hell I am wearing anything like that. And that's if you pass.." He crossed his arms. It's because you are so good of a tutor he has even a hope of passing..

Minato laughed at his words as he sat up straighter on the couch. For some reason, the image of Asuki wearing a cheerleading uniform didn't disgust him like he would have expected. In fact, it almost seemed cute. Wait, cute? What the hell was he thinking? Not liking what ideas were popping into his head, Minato hurried to change the subject. "You mean when I pass." he teased. "But anyways, are you hungry? I can make something...."

"Fine..It's so unlikely you will pass I will wear one for the first game" Kyandi said, willing to take this chance. He was not feeling confident but he wanted to prove that he wasn't above the challenge. He snapped back out of it when Minato had asked if he was hungry. "Uh sure, anythings fine" He said casually, not really minding. He was also curious as to his cooking skills if any.

Minato paused at Asuki's words, not expecting him to actually take him seriously. He didn't say anything further on the subject for fear of the other realizing what he'd said and taking it back. "Alright, but I have to warn you that I'm a much better chef than student." he grinned. His bragging was surprisingly true, this time. Since his parents were barely ever home, he'd long since learned to cook for himself. He'd actually gotten quite good at it over the years. Minato grinned proudly as he got up and sauntered into the kitchen to get started on a meal.
