Jas slicks his hair back and stands up, going downstairs.

 

Keiji pouts a little and continues to try to push off Chase, "n-no get off you jerk," he scratches his head and sits down. He presses his feet against Chase and starts to push him with his feet.

 

Adrian looks at him and scratches his head, watching Keiji, "gees what are all off you doing? You look like a bunch of football players."

Jarod stands and follows Jas out of boredom.

 

Aki lets out a meager cry trying to get air into his lungs "I-I can't breath!!" he tried to roll over to tople Chase off but Chase was too heavy.

 

Lockie frowns "Really?? Chase, just get off him" he sighed exasperated.

Jas runs outside and looks around, "where are they?"

 

Keiji pouts a little and continues to push Chase off, lowering his head, "get off already."

 

Adrian sighs and walks over to Chase, grabbing him by the shirt collar and picks him up roughly, "don't you know how to listen you big lug."

As Jarod rounds the corner he gets sight of the group down in the courtyard "Over there" he points out. Jarod lets out a laugh watching chase be pulled back with ease by Agrian, shaking his head as he made his way down to the group.

 

Chase fall back, blinking as he is pulled of by Adrian "H-hey, let go" he frowned slightly, standing up.

 

With the weight of Chase now not trying to flatten Aki, he quickly takes off his bag, turns over onto his back and stares up at the sky.

"Thank god!!" Aki said though big gulps of air as he lay on his back.

 

Lockie turns towards Chase "What the hell are you thinking Chase?" he asked tilting his head "You want Aki dead or something?" he shook his head the looking over at Aki he sees Jarod in the distance.

Jas looks at Jarod and nods his head, running after Jarod to walk up to him, seeing the big commotion going on, "what.. is going on over here?"

 

Adrian looks at Chase and narrows his eyes, "you know you can kill someone like that. Pulling all your weight on a skinny guy that.. looks like he has breathing problems," he looks at Aki and scratches his head, letting go of Chase's collar.

 

Keiji crawls over to Aki and looks at him, "a-are you okay? Your not hurt are you," he tilts his head and sits next to him.

Jarod walks over to Lockie "What's he done now?" he asks, sighing.

 

"Chase nearly squashed Aki" Lockie said, explaining what had happened.

 

Chase only shrugged, not caring what Adrian has to say.

 

After a few more minutes of just breathing Aki looked over at Keiji "My back is killing me" he said in a whisper of a voice as he slowly and carefully sat up, wincing but alive "I....I'm ok" Aki rubbed at his eyes, blinking before he tried to stand, only to fall to the ground again.

Jas sighs and scratches his head, "what a moron.."

 

Adrian narrows his eyes and kicks Chase in the ass, crossing his arms.

 

Keiji looks down at Aki and looks up at Chase, pouting a little and looks to the side, "you big lug," he crosses his arms and looks down at Aki, rubbing his forehead.

Jarod nodded in agreement with Jas, sighing.

 

Chase let out a surprised yelp which made Aki laugh, watching Adrian kick his ass, but it sent Aki on a coughing spree. After Aki had stopped coughing, he turned and looked at his bag, gasping slightly as he saw that the gray-led that had snapped in half because of Chase had actually pierced through the material ~no wander it hurt so much~ Aki though looking down at it.

 

Lockie and Jarod both turned looking over at Aki seeing the broken grey-led. Jarod raised an eyebrow.

Jas shakes his head and leans against the tree.

 

Adrian shakes his head and walks to the bench, sitting down with his eyes narrowed. "Such a baka...," he crosses his legs and rests his back on the bench, lowering his head with his eyes closed.

 

Keiji widens his eyes and looks at the broken grey led, rubbing Aki's head, "no.. calm down please. You shouldn't be laughing like that after getting crushed."

Aki gave a half smile "It's fine..." he put down his bag turning to Adrian "Um, thank you...Adrian, wasn't it?" Aki wanted to lay back down and fall asleep, but he stood up, for the second time, and he remained standing.

Lockie watched Chase skeptically, but Chase did nothing else, standing there silently. Jarod stood looking from Aki, to the bag to Chase and back again ~I'll deal with him later~ Jarod though saying "You alright Aki?" he genuinely meant it, even though his motives at first weren't that pure, he certainly didn't want Aki hurt like this.

 

After a while standing Aki walked slowly over to Chase and lifting up his hand back-handed Chase across the face with such force it drove Chase back a step. Aki's face was set hard, frowning, his crimson blood eyes seething, his silver hair blowing across his face in the gentle afternoon breeze.

Adrian looks towards Aki and waves his hand as he goes back to crossing his arms once again and goes into his pocket to get his book from his bag and starts reading.

 

Jas sighs and shakes his head, sitting next to Adrian and goes into his pocket to take out a box of cigarettes. He takes one out and lights it, putting it into his mouth and starts smoking.

 

Keiji looks at Aki and gulps a little, standing up and dusts off his pants, looking towards Aki, "w-well I got to go home now. I got to see if my mom needs any help," he runs in the direction of his house.

Chase looks stunned at Aki, but Aki is already turning away from him, looking at Keiji as he runs of ~Bye~ he thought, not even getting the chance to say goodbye before Keiji turned and ran off. He sighed the looked at his watch and his eyes widened "Shit!" he though out loud "My dad's gonna kill me" Aki's eyes were filled with fear, as he picked up his bag.

 

Jarod tilted his head you need a lift home?" he asked Aki, who spun around startled at the invitation. Jarod blinked "What!? you're in no condition to walk!"

 

Aki brushed of his invitation "....I'll be fine"

Keiji continues running and pants softly when he was finally infront of his house. He walks to the door and opens it, taking off his shoes and walks into his parent's bedroom only to see his mother sleeping. Keiji sighs with a smile and goes into the bathroom to get a wet cloth. He walks back to his mom and places the cloth on his mom's forehead.

 

Jas looks to the side at Jarod, puffing a big cloud of smoke with his arms crossed and lets out a yawn.

 

Adrian looks at Jarod and stands up slowly, "maybe if your with someone.. he won't be as mad.. you never know."

Lockie grabs Chase "Comon, lets go" he hid a smile as he saw Aki back-hand Chase, turning and walking in the opposite direction.

 

Jarod raised an eyebrow, contemplating what Adrian had said "How bout Adrian go along with us then?" ask asked, not sure if Aki'll go along with it.

Aki stopped turning to face Jarod, then looking at Adrian ~Well, he did pretty much save my life~ he thought, tilting his head. Aki felt exhausted and he was dreading what is awaiting him at home ~Maybe if they're with me, he wont do anything this time...~

Keiji sits next to his mom and looks at her stomach, "it should be any day now," he smiles and rubs her stomach. "Maybe she needs a pain killer.. I should try to see if there are any downstairs," he gets off the bed and walks downstairs. He looks around on the table and reads a couple of pill names, scratching his head.

 

Jas looks at Jarod and laughs a little, "I think he would be safer with just Adrian then people that bully him in school," he crushes the cigarette into the pavement.

 

Adrian looks at Aki and puts his book into his bag, looking at his watch and waits to see what Aki would decide on.

Aki looks over as Jas says this, then back at Jarod before again at Adrian "Just Adrian" he says quietly, wincing slightly as he puts on his own bag. Aki really didn't want to go home, but he had no other place to go for now. He looked over at Jarod and Jas before turning to Adrian "Lets go"

Keiji goes back to his parent's room and puts the pain killer pills on the night stand, rubbing his mom's stomach once again.

 

Adrian looks up at Aki and nods his head, "alright.. you might have to show me where you live though," he puts his hands in his pockets as he walks up to Aki.

Aki nodded "ok" he started to walk out of the school gates and away from Jas and Jarod.

Jarod frowned playfully, but he was still annoyed Aki didn't wanna go with him.

Adrian nods his head and follows Aki out the school gate, going into his pockets, "hey don't forget about that buffet pamphet I gave you," he smiles with a laugh.

 

Jas looks at Jarod and raises a eyebrow, "do you really think Aki would go with someone that bullies him? That is the same as convincing Keiji to go with one of you guys. Of course Lockie and Chase scared him off so he would probably rather go with you, and that is how sensitive people work," he rests his leg on his other.

 

Keiji stands up and walks into his bedroom to get his laptop, walking back to his mom and sits down, checking his emails.

Aki smiles slightly, almost laughing as he walked along the path with Adrian, on his way home "Can we stop somewhere to grab a quick bitt to eat?" he asked tilted his head looking over at Adrian.

 

Jarod playfully punched Jas in the arm, nodding, knowing Jas was right, but not acknowledging it out loud.

Adrian looks at his watch and looks up at Aki, "uh.. are you sure your dad will understand if you did?"

 

Jas laughs a little and rests his head on his hands, leaning back with a yawn.

 

Keiji's dad finally returns home and goes upstairs, seeing Keiji on his laptop and smiles, "how is she doing?"

 

Keiji looks up at his dad, "hey dad, she is asleep, I am not really sure how to handle this so maybe you should take over."

 

Keiji's dad laughs and nods his head, "alright I first need to get out of my work clothes and then I will help out."

Jarod smirks "Tired" he poked Jas's cheek with a laugh.

 

Aki contemplates this, he really didn't want to go home, and he was still hungry "It'll be fine..."

Jas looks at Jarod and shakes his head, "what do you expect from being in school for a few hours?"

 

Adrian nods his head and walks to the shopping district to the Buffet.

 

Keiji watches as his dad was getting out of his work clothes and goes back to check on his emails.

 

Keiji's dad finishes and smiles, sitting on the bed, "alright Keiji I will look over her you should do your homework if you have any."

Jarod laughs nodding.

 

Aki follows Adrian into the shopping district "Hey, thats that buffet place, right?" Aki says as they draw near.

Jas pokes Jarod's head and crosses his arms.

 

Adrian looks towards the area Aki pointed at and nods his head, "yup that is the place."

 

Keiji nods his head and walks to his bedroom, starting to work on his homework.
