Jarod laughs, poking Jas back "Com'on, let get outta here"

 

AKi smiles as he stops at the entrance "Its huge!" he says looking inside the elegant restaurant.

Jas nods his head and stands up, walking off the school campus.

 

Adrian laughs a little and scratches his head, "well if you think the building is big then wait until you see the food selection."

 

Keiji finishes his homework and then decides to take out his sketch book to start drawing.

Jarod walks out of the school with Jas and at the end of the path Jarod waves goodbye to Jas "See ya soon" he grinned poking his friends nose, then turned walking across the road and around the corner out of sight.

 

Aki giggled, smiling as a delicous aroma wafted from inside. He looked around once more before walking inside, waiting for someone to give then a table.

Jas nods his head with a wave and walks in the direction to his house, a few blocks away from the school.

 

Keiji goes into his pocket to grab his iPod and turns on some music while he draws.

 

Adrian looks at Aki and laughs a little with a sigh, "this place is also a very busy place as well.."

Aki turned back to Adrian, shrugging "As long as the foods good, doesn't matter if it housed Elephants" he laughed softly then smiled as a young waitress walked up gesturing to them to follow her to a table. Aki looked around as he was being led to their table, many talking, smiling faces filled the busy restaurant.

Adrian looks at the waitress and follows her to the table along with Aki, scratching his head as he walked.

 

Keiji perks up his head as his father runs into his room and stands up, seeing his dad was out of breath, "w-what happened d-did she...?

 

Keiji's father pants heavily and nods his head, "we got to hurry. I will get the car started and you help your mother get to the car."

Once seated the waitress hands both Adrian and Aki a menu, smiling at Aki before leaving them both "There's so much to choose from" Aki said looking at the menu, giggling softly.

Adrian laughs a little and nods his head, "luckily.. the pamphlet there is going to make it so expensive since your a little hunger munger," he scratches his head as he looks at the menu.

 

Keiji helps his mom to the car, seeing his dad wait for him. He helps her into the back seat so she could lay down. Keiji goes into the passenger side and his dad drives off to the hospital.

Aki poked Adrians shoulder in reply to his comment, indecisive bout what to eat "I don't know what to get" he pouted.

Adrian tilts his head and looks at his menu, "well.. you sound like you eat anything so just pick something you really want. There has to be something you really want by the description?"

 

Keiji looks at his mom as his dad was driving to the hospital. He looks down and looks at the wet liquid, gulping a little, "u-uh dad are we almost there?"

 

Keiji's dad nods his head and continues driving, "yes in a few more minutes."

Aki looked at the menu "Mmmm i'll have those then" pointing to the delicious looking picture of chips, hand made with a sour-cream dipping sauce.

Adrian looks at what Aki pointed out and nods his head with a smile, "then I suppose all I have do is pick something too," he looks over the items.

 

Keiji's dad pulls into the hospital and calls the doctors and nurses to hurry outside to help bring Keiji's mom inside the hospital.

 

Keiji and his father followed part of the way and sits in the waiting room.

Aki smiled, waiting till a waiter walked over to them, ready to take their order "Is there anything else?" Asked the waiter, his eyes lingering on Aki as he waited. Aki poked Adrians shoulder again "Do you know what you want?" he asked, oblivious to the waiters lingering stare.

Aki brushed away his fringe as it flopped in his eyes, looking around the restaurant.

Adrian scratches his chin as he takes one more look at the menu and closes it, "yes I do know now what I want," he looks at the waiter and puts the menu to the side, closer to the waiter, "I would like steak dinner, not rare just middle with the mashed potatoe and green beans combination with some water."

 

Keiji and his father continues waiting, "is she going to be okay dad?"

 

Keiji's father looks at him and laughs softly, "yes Keiji. Its not like its a first time thing you know. But it does take some time, don't worry the nurse will tell us when its time."

 

Keiji nods his head and looks at the clock.

The waiter blinked looking away from AKi and nodded, taking down Adrians order, before reluctantly walking away, a last quick glance at Aki before he walked into the kitchen and out of sight. Aki sat patiently looking at a couple at a table across the room, before moving his gaze around to the others who sat, some talking, some eating. In the silence Aki couldn't help but think of what awaited him at home, he hoped his father hadn't been drinking.

Adrian leans back in his chair and looks at Aki with his arms crossed, "worried about how your dad is handling you being gone for too long eh? Why don't you text him or something. Maybe have someone that can contact him to call him so he isn't so nervous about you."

 

Keiji perks up his head, seeing a nurse and looks at his dad, fast asleep in his chair. He sighs and looks at the nurse, signalling to come over with a smile. Keiji nods his head and walks over to the nurse, falling her to the recovery room.

Aki fidgeted, contemplating this and after several minutes he nodded "It's probably a good idea" he said, digging round in his bag for his phone. As he pulled it out, it suddenly came alive with music and vibrations. Aki flipped it open and saw the caller was his dad, he hesitated for a moment the his answer, putting it to his ear "He-hello, dad" he winced as his dad's voice boomed into his ear.

Adrian sighs and takes Aki's phone, "hey.. Aki's father? I took Aki out for dinner because there was alot of things in school going on and he almost got crushed by a big student. So he is safe," he gives Aki his phone back and mumbles, "also.. take a chill pill," he leans back in his chair.

 

Keiji looks at his mom and widens his eyes slightly, walking in and smiles, seeing his little brother being held by his mother. "Aw I should probably go get dad." "Yes you probably should," she smiles while rocking her child. Keiji nods his head and walks to the waiting room to get his dad.

Aki's eyes widen as Adrian take his phone ~he spoke to dad like that!!~ he almost laughed, but his phone was given back to him so he put it to his ear, and his father seemed calmer to his relief "Uh-Hu...ok...I'll ask him" he puts down the phone for a second "Dad want me to invite you over" he sighed shaking his head "I don't have many friends and he'd like to meet you" Aki felt suddenly awkward, silently waiting for Adrian's reply ~Adrian has better things to do than to hang out with me~ Aki thought to himself ~I shouldn't have even bothered asking.

Adrian stretches out his legs with his eyes closed. He lets out a yawn, listening Aki's talking to his dad. He opens his eyes slowly as Aki looks at him, "your dad .. wants me to come over to your house," he tilts his head. He scratches his head and shrugs his shoulders, "well.. I was already planning to go over to drop you off you know before I suggested the phone idea."

 

Keiji's father wakes up and sees Keiji walking over, "is it..?"

 

Keiji nods his head and leads his dad to the recovery room.

Aki smiled slightly covering the mouth piece "My dad's weird...." he sat in silence a little longer before lifting the phone back up to his ear "Dad?...yeah...Hu-uh...well, yeah he had already offered to drop me off anyways...yeah...ok..be home soon" He sighed putting the phone back into his bag after he had hung up.

 

The same waiter from before arrived with Adrians and Aki's food and Aki was glad for it, he smiled thanking the waiter, who blushed. Aki munched on his food oblivious to the waiters reaction.

Adrian looks at Aki and leans forward as Aki turns off his phone, "its very rare to have white hair and red eyes," he rests his chin on his palm, moving the bangs from his eye, exposing a blue eye instead of a brown eye which was the other eye. He scratches his cheek and leans back in the seat.

 

He looks up at the waiter and smiles, waving to him and starts eating as well.

Aki blushed slightly, feeling awkward as Adrian leaned in, but his own eyes widened seeing Adrian's two different colored eyes "It's also rare to have two differently colored eye as well" he countered, feeling better now the conversation was turned away from himself. The restaurant was packed by now, and there was a chorus of voices surrounding Adrian and Aki.

Aki ate his chips offering Adrian some.

The same waiter came back an hour later, asking if Adrian or Aki would like any beverages.

Aki tilted his head "I could go for soda" he thought out loud, the waiters eyes on Aki the entire time.

Adrian looks at Aki and nods his head, laughing a little, "very nice one there. I can't counter that one," he leans back in the chair as he continues eating. He looks up and takes one, "you should eat as much as you need." He looks at the waiter and shakes his head, "I already ordered a drink... water."

 

Keiji leans over and about to rub his baby brother's forehead but stops, "gah I need to wash my hands before touching so he doesn't get sick already," he stands up and washes his hand. He walks back over and rubs his baby's forehead and smiles, "his eyes are so big and he is very cute," he leans back in the chair.

Aki smiled at the waiter "So just the soda then" Aki seemed oblivious to how the waiter was reacting. Aki was a little thick at times. The waiter nodded, lingering for a moment before leaving reluctantly to get Aki his drink.

"It's ok...i really don't eat much sometimes" he went on munching on his chips "These are really nice, really, try one!" He offered Adrian one of his chips again giggling softly. The waiter seemed dazed slightly as he returned to Aki with his soda, finding Aki smiling and laughing softly, he placed down Akis drink "Th-there you go" he stammered.
