Cameron made a squishy face as though he had a strange taste in his mouth from having his tongue handled. It had been a strange thing for his Uncle to do, but he didn't think anything of it really past his tongue feeling funny. He frowned suddenly hearing Ryu would miss him. "Why would you miss this silly. I'm not going anywhere." He blinked, confused. Hadn't he just said he wanted to be an assistant? Why would he go anywhere if he wanted to be right where he was? Or did he mean what they were doing now? Couldn't they continue doing these things when he got older? It was all very confusing.

"Of course I'll hang out with you, Uncle. I'm going to be at your work too, right? I said I'd work hard." He looked up, eyes trying to confirm this little bit of information. "We'll see each other all the time! And.. and go drinking after work!" My my, wasn't that a grown up thing to say. Course he only saw these sort of things on tv and when his Father had guests, but he figured drinking with people was an important thing, just like friendship.

Being squished into a hug he returned it while attempting to bat away the tickles. While laughing he spoke, nearly breathless. "Even if I have friends and stuff, you're family. I promise," he adds, holding up his pinky finger for that sacred promise. After all, who else did the boy really have? His Father was obviously not concerned, and the rest of his family barely showed their faces. It was all very obvious just who the boy trusted and held dear.

In response to Cameron saying he won't go anywhere, he just gives the boy the small patient smile that adults will give children. It's one that says that while they know it's meant now, they know that the future and reality is likely to be very different and most likely not in a way that will be happy. "Aa... If you say so Cam-chan then surely it must be so." He says finally in a soft tone.

"Oh? Already thinking like an adult and planning on going out to drink are you? I'll have to stay on my toes and be sure to chaperon you closely then to make sure you don't drink too much." Teasing the boy lightly he meets the gaze giving the confirmation that is sought, even though deep down he's not fully sure he believes it'll happen. Someone like Cameron would surely be interested in something much more creative or lucrative than a businessman's job. And that's a long time down the road yet. Easily fifteen years if not more so depending on the boy's ability and drive once that time comes.

Looking at the pinkie offered he can only offer another small smile while wrapping his own around it. "I'll hold you to that then Cam-chan. And if you don't then you'll be in big trouble." He gives a mock-serious frown before returning to his tickle attack to distract the boy from the suddenly serious turn of conversation. Once convinced the boy is worn out from laughing he gives him a light pat on the cheek. "Alright you, go wash up and get ready for bed."

Poking his glasses lightly he nodded, grabbing the puzzle book and pencil to take back into the room with him. He all but danced away from the threat of another tickle attack, feeling his ribs starting to hurt from laughing so much. He even lifted his shirt when out of sight to see if he had any bruises from the rough play. Cameron had pale skin, and sadly for a boy he was rather delicate. Even if he had gotten any mark from rough play it wasn't like they were life threatening or that they'd been given on purpose. It just happened. He'd learned to deal with the little yellow-purple marks being thankful he'd not done worse to himself in the 8 years he'd been alive. If there was one kid who had luck on his side, it was him.

Going to the spare room he grabbed his toiletries and went to the restroom, brushing teeth and changing into comfy shorts and a t-shirt. He'd left the oversized stuffy jammies at home, seeing as he had a bit more freedom to do as he pleased when with his Uncle. Sliding off his glasses he put a few eyes drops in, blinking while his vision fought against the moisture. For a moment he cried a few fake tears, but they were wiped away with a cool washcloth.

Having nothing else to do he went back to the room to put his things away, the clothes he'd worn folded onto a chair so they weren't wrinkled beyond recognition the next day. Going back towards the living room he peeked around the corner, sliding his glasses back on carefully. "All set." He was actually ready to go to bed. Not because he wanted too, but because he couldn't possibly wait any longer for whatever was going on tomorrow.

Looking up from the paper he was reading, Ryuuchi smiles slightly at the sight of the bed ready Cameron. "Alright. Let's get you tucked in then." Setting it to the side he gently nudges the small boy to the bedroom. Getting him under the covers, he lightly ruffles the boy's hair. "Sleep well Cam-chan. I'll see you in the morning." With that he turns and leaves the room, gently closing the door behind him.

Going to his own room, which naturally has its own bathroom, he goes to take a hot shower. Sighing while tipping his head back, he lets the steaming water flow down his body to sooth the aches and tension from the muscles. Eventually he gets out and after drying off just gets into bed. His main extravagance on himself, it's a California King with a cooling foam mattress and silk sheets. Sighing in contentment feeling the soft embrace of the cool sheets, he starts to drift off while thinking that he could use some 'adult comfort' once Cameron is taken home. Maybe his occasional fuck buddy will be free during the week.

Thoughts of calling up his friend and then the plans for next two days with the little guest in his home, he slowly drifts off to sleep. The last thought being that he hopes being in a new place to sleep won't make it hard for the little guy to fall asleep. As the thought of him going to bed with pants of some kind start to form, he finally succumbs to sleep and the possibility of putting some on before sleeping go to non-existent. Come morning, the man wakes up with a yawn and runs through the order of things that needs to happen. One, put on pajama pants. Two, make coffee and drink a full cup before refilling it. Three, once cup has been re-filled, start on making breakfast. And four, wake Cameron to get up and ready before finishing breakfast. With a low sigh he moves to get started on his self-imposed list.

Guided back to the spare room, he crawls onto the bed and sinks under the covers. They're soft and feel really cool compared to his own sheets at home for some reason. Receiving the ruffle to his always messy mop, he smiles a bit. Having almost forgot, he sits back up and slides his glasses off, setting them in the small case on the night stand. Another few wiggles and he's back into place. "Night Uncle," he replies, closing his eyes as ryu flicks the light off and leaves.

He'd managed to fall asleep pretty easily, but staying asleep was a small issue. The past few months he'd been waking up, as if something were pulling him from his dreams. He woke up unable to ever remember what it was he dreamed; and he was always thirsty. He realized tiredly that the bottle of water had been left in the living room. Chewing his lip he decided he could grab it and come back without too much effort. Crawling out of bed, bare feet padded softly over the floor. He opened the door as quiet as he could and snuck out into the hall, feeling his way down the wall as he walked. Things were really blurry without his glasses, but he managed to only bump his foot on the corner of the couch before grabbing a new bottle of water from the fridge. His old bottle had been removed from the coaster; probably when he had been getting ready for bed.

Slowly making his way back to the bedroom he closed the door and walked to the window, peering out at all the lights of the city while gulping down half the bottle in one go. Small trickles streamed down his chin and he wiped at them with his shirt collar, closing the bottle tight after. He stood, just staring outside. His face was calm, nearly blank of anything at all. He briefly thought of his Father, wondering where and what he was doing. Would they see each other soon? He felt empty when he thought about these things, wondering if maybe the dreams he had were connected somehow. He hated not knowing. With a sigh he crawled back into bed, setting the water next to his glasses case. It didn't take much for him to be lulled back to sleep, burrowed under the covers like he so often did.

After having had sipped at his second cup of coffee, he gets batter going for pancakes and starts some bacon. Once the first batch of each had been finished and the second ones started, he goes to the guest room to wake the little resident in there. Cup in one hand, the other opens the door to allow him to silently walk over to the ball of blankets on the bed. Chuckling softly, he grabs the edge of the blankets then smirks as he yanks off the covers. "Time to wake up Cam-chan."

Laughing he turns, letting the blankets fall to the ground, and leaves to get back to the kitchen so nothing burns. Getting back just in time to flip everything. Pulling out some blueberries and strawberries, he quickly rinses them off then slices the strawberries between batches before putting each fruit in its own bowl. That done he quickly whips some eggs and makes some scrambled eggs and toast. Setting the bowls on the table, he then sets a small stack of pancakes on the table along with some syrup and butter. Finishing up the last of the bacon and pancakes, he then makes sure everything is on the table and pours Cameron some juice to go with his breakfast. "Alright brat, breakfast's done. Eat up and then dress in some comfy clothes."

Sitting down, he makes his own plate and starts to eat. "Now then, I hope you're ready for the surprise I have in store for you, but it'll probably be something you don't tell your father." Inwardly he twitches at the thought of his friend, but outwardly he keeps the appearance of a slight grin so as to not make the boy think he's upset with him or anything.

"Ngggh," the boy curls in a smaller ball, a hand patting the bed as if seeking out the covers that had been taken away. His toes curled a few times and sleepy browns slightly peeked out beneath dark lashes. It took a few minutes but he finally realized the covers were nowhere in sight, and had slid off the end of the bed onto the floor. Yawning widely he uncurled himself and slid off the bed, swaying as he located his glasses and slid them on. His eyes watered slightly as the room came into better view.

Cameron had taken a bit, but after going to the restroom he managed to wander out into the living room holding a pair of clean socks which he'd yet to stick on his feet. His soft hair was actually tamed into submission after he'd vigorously stroked the locks with a wet comb. He hadn't managed to get dressed yet though. Hazel eyes still held the remnants of dreams as he slid himself into a chair at the dining table. This poor kid was not a morning person. Blinking at the filled plate with a bit of everything, he scoots his fruit closer and digs in. Pouring syrup on top of both pancakes and bacon, he gets to them next- saving his favorite eggs for last. "Mmm," was his response to his Uncle while storing away the food like a little chipmunk.

When the older sits and starts talking, cam peeks up a few times listening closely. He was hoping to get a hint towards the event planned- but his Uncle was not budging still. Hearing he wasn't allowed to tell his Father about today's plans his fork paused just near his mouth, lowering a touch so he could talk. "Why not tell Father?" He just wanted to know, the fact he didn't have to report everything to that man was really not an issue. Mostly anyways.

Hearing Cameron ask why causes an eyebrow to raise. "Because as of late your father has increasingly lost any tolerance for fun. If he finds out I'm letting you have a whole day of fun he'll probably try to lecture my ear off." He comments dryly. Taking another bite he continues. "That might be why he's been so reluctant to let you spend a lot of time with me. I let you have fun and be a kid instead of expecting you to live up to unrealistic adult expectations all the time." This is more under his breath than said to be heard, but still possible if the boy is listening.

Continuing to eat he looks at the other. "That aside, be sure to eat up and then finish getting ready. Once we clean up from breakfast we'll get going." Finishing his coffee, which is absolutely necessary in the morning unless people want to meet the demonic side of him, he finishes up his plate and starts to put things away. Patting Cameron on the head as he passes by, he heads off to wash up and get dressed himself. Once dressed he goes out to finish up the last few dishes after Cameron has left to go dress, and starts the dishwasher.

"About ready brat?" He asks leaning against the door jam while looking into the guest room to check in on the person currently occupying it. Smiling slightly at the little boy, he looks forward to the day out even though it's really not something that he cares for personally. Still, it's a good thing for a child to experience at least a few times in his life and knowing Cameron he's never been allowed to do do something like this. Grinning even larger he leads the way to his bike once the other is ready. "Alright, you know the drill. And make sure you don't lose the glasses..." He teases even though it's never happened.

Glancing back to make sure the other has them tucked away, a devilish grin appears as he takes off. When they stop it's in the parking lot of the theme park a little ways out of town. Quickly getting them off and righted, he spins the boy around to look at the park entrance where the rides can be seen. It's just before opening time so there's a line and excited chatter going on even though no rides are going yet. "What d'ya think?"

Cameron couldn't hide the small surprise on his face when he heard his Uncle speak so frankly. He'd always been a care-free sort of person, but rules were also something followed well. He had a small suspicion something was amiss, but being unaware of the strain between the two men made things difficult for him to even understand properly. Fixing the surprise expression into a smile he finished off his juice, pushing past the oddity in his mind. It didn't matter. His Uncle was treating him, and even if his Father didn't know- everything was fine. It would always be fine.

"Kay," he replied, making sure to polish off all the meal; which did not include licking the plate. Though with syrup he was always tempted. helping clean up, he then excused himself and went back to get changed. He'd brought some comfortable cargo shorts, t-shirt and gym shoes. Lucky him he could brandish them about today without a care in the world. Running back out to the dining room he grabbed his socks which he'd dropped under his chair while eating and again back to the bedroom. He was a bundle of energy once he got food in him, and the excitement was building.

"Ready," he chirped, sliding around the corner towards the front door after getting his shoes and socks on. He'd wanted to take his bag, but he left it in the bedroom thinking he wouldn't need any entertainment when they were out today. Following his Uncle down to the garage he followed normal routine, adjusting straps and getting onto the bike with a boost. He settled in and hugged the older man about the waist, squirming excitedly. His glasses were tucked in his pocket safe and sound.

The ride was sort of long, but enjoyed the breeze that whisked around his small form. He watched everything that went by, pointing once as a woman chased her dog down the sidewalk; the leash dragging behind the escaped pet. The boy laughed with glee as the woman all but dove for the leash while two other men tried to heard the animal back towards it's owner. After a bit longer, they were nearly out of the city and when they pulled into a large lot cameron peered around his Uncle, trying to see where they were. He put his glasses back on, thinking that may part of the issue.

He held out his arms and gripped his Uncle's shoulders, being tugged off the bike and set on his feet. His hands slid down until one claimed the older mans, holding it while he got his first look at the surprise. His eyes went owlishly wide and he gasped, pointing excitedly. "WHOA, really?" He danced in place and started to pull on the hand as if to get his Uncle moving. He laughed gleefully, his hair sticking up again from the helmet. When he felt his Uncle wasn't moving fast enough he let go of the hand and took off towards the line.

Ryuuchi laughs and shakes his head at the boy's excitement. When the small boy starts to run off though, he calls out to get him back. "Cam-chan, don't go running off. You'll get lost. Besides, that's not where we're going in." After all, someone in his position is easily able to get a pair of tickets to the theme park and not have to wait in the line to get in. Though ride lines are another matter entirely, and he's not one to think that money can or should be used to get everything in life.

Once the boy comes back to him, he leads the excited eight year-old to the main office where they are greeted, get their hands stamped, and then let into the park a good fifteen minutes before the actual gates open. "Alright brat, where to first?" He looks down with a grin fully intending to let Cameron have fun and lead the day while they're at the park. After they leave he might let the other choose where they eat dinner depending on how worn out the little guy is.

"While we're here you're in charge okay Cam-chan? So long as it won't get us in trouble that is..." Grinning with a wink he leads them over to one of the tall maps of the park's layout. While they could get a little pamphlet, it's more fun to just wander or walk around on their own and discover places as they walk.

Cameron skid to a stop and did a hilarious turn that only a child could manage without tumbling over. He flushed a bit in embarrassment and hurried back to his Uncle's side, realizing he'd just took off on his own. He couldn't help it, he was overjoyed. Grabbing ryu's hand again he followed, his gaze darting from one thing to another, smiling to the people who took his free hand and stamped something on it. He peered at the design then up at his Uncle curiously.

Once inside cameron looked around in awe, his hand shaking slightly with pent up energy. Where first? He had no idea! The place was just so...HUGE. And hearing he was in charge? Overload. The boy lit up and took the pamphlet, unfolding the map to it's full length. "Whoa," he repeated, not able to find another word more appropriate. "C-can we ride this? This is a ride right?" He pointed to a coaster off to their left, it's name "Rolling thunder" scrawled in a rocker type font. "I want to sit in front!" He was already pulling Ryu towards the coaster, it's high arches sticking up quite a ways into the air.

They followed the long winding poles that would usually house the lines of people waiting, but since there were people waiting outside still; the park wasn't exactly bustling just yet. They would be next in line for the coaster. Peering down the track his eyes still wide in disbelief- he watched as the last batch of people flew into the docking station and came to an amazing stop, slowly clicking forward towards where people would load and unload. "Oh my, oh oh, did you SEE that? They flew in and just..stopped! Like that!" He snapped his fingers, demonstrating.

Laughing he nods at the question and lets Cameron lead the way to the rollercoaster, where the boy's excitement just makes him shake his head while chuckling some more. "Alright you, let's get on so they can get the ride going." He gets on the ride and helps Cameron get buckled in before doing his own. Once they're checked the worker gives the signal and off they go. While not as fun as driving his bike, he can still agree that riding these is a pretty good time.

After the ride is done they still have a few moments to get on their way to another ride before people are let in. "Come on brat, we better hurry or there'll be a line at the next ride. Unless you want to go on this one again." He ruffles the boy's hair while waiting for the vote on what next. After they do a few more rides he looks around and frowns faintly to himself at all the people there but sighs softly before smiling at his little companion. "Are you getting hungry at all or would you like to play some games?" He asks while getting them out of the way of the main traffic.

The ride was both scary and exciting. By the time they got off his legs were shaking and he was wearing a grin that said he didn't exactly know -what- to feel. He was just stupidly happy, as any kid should be. Getting off he wobbled after his Uncle and made a mental note to absolutely not wear the glasses on the next ride. He'd almost lost them twice. Course he wouldn't admit that, thinking he probably should have known better. "Next, next!"

Fishing the map from his pocket he poked at the next one he wanted to try and grabbed his Uncle's hand, yanking him along even while he was still somewhat unsteady. Cameron could see this day was going to be one of the best he'd ever had. Strange but the maps were really easy to use, and cameron had no problem getting to the next location without too much difficulty. Course Ryu could help, but he was in charge so he was leading the way 100%.

After a few more rides he sunk onto a small brick wall that sectioned off some bushes and flowers, peering at the map for their next adventure. His stomach growled on cue right after his Uncle mentioned the word hungry. "Food, then games?" he asked, looking hopeful. After getting the okay he was guided to one of the fast food stands that oddly had burgers on one side, and hotdogs on the other. Both smelled great. His mouth watered as they ordered. Reaching out he took the large blue icee from the employee, taking a huge slurp of the cold liquid. They sat down at one of the tables with benches and dug in, cameron impressively attacking both a hotdog and hamburger with equal gusto. With a small smear of mustard on the corner of his mouth from the hotdog, and a slightly blue lip from the icee, he was in heaven.

Laughing at Cameron's enthusiasm, he agrees to food and then games. Seeing the smear of mustard on the corner of the boy's mouth, he reaches over and wipes it off with his thumb. "Easy there. No need to rush. You'll just make yourself sick that way." Teasing the excited child while licking off the sauce from his thumb, he goes to his own hot dog and eats it in a much more controlled manner. Leaning back he finishes off his food then sips at the clear soda he'd gotten to drink while letting Cameron finish his food before they head off to the games. Glancing over and seeing him just about done he grins.

"Alright. Finish that up and we'll head over to the games and see if we can't get you a souvenir or two huh?" Standing up and throwing his trash away he waits for the boy to join him before they head off towards the games area of the park. Or at least one of them. "Okay brat. Pick the first game and we'll get started." Grinning down at his small companion, he actually feels a bit eager to get this part underway even though most of these are rigged so that it's really difficult to win anything decent.

"Sorry, it's really good though," he commented, taking another drink of his iced drink. Cameron managed to finish off both items, wiping his mouth after to make sure he or his Uncle hadn't missed any more of the sauce on his face. He'd actually managed to keep any off his shirt too, which was pretty good for such sloppy food. Sadly he hadn't even thought to put the paper napkin in his lap since it was quite small and wouldn't save much to begin with. The whole meal he'd watched everyone around him. There were so many people, families, children of all ages and even older grandparents. He watched a Father and son both race to finish a hot dog while the mother scolded both and soothed a sobbing infant. He smiled, watching the babe flail it's little pudgy arms.

When he snapped out of it his Uncle was ready and they went to throw their plates away. Cam kept his drink, since it was huge and he couldn't finish it all in one sitting. Sipping from the straw they wandered through the crowd to the games section. A whole entire middle row of the park was dedicated to nothing but these games where all manner of prizes were the reward. When ryu spoke he looked up, his straw dangling from his lower lip before dropping back into the drink. "There is outdoor stuff, and then there are games inside there and there," he pointed, eyeing the map. Hearing a man yell he turned around, seeing a line of stuffed animals nearly as big as him. He stared at the squishy prizes and wrinkled his nose a bit. The game looked fun, but the prize was a bit much.

"Inside," he said, taking his Uncle's hand again out of habit; not wanting to get separated in the crowd. The game rooms were full of familiar electronic games. Claw games, pinball, speed tests, rows of skee-ball and so many more he didn't even recognize half of them. Seeing the skee-ball had some lanes open he decided to start there. He waited for his Uncle to purchase a game card for them, and swiped their cards on the game starting them up. Cameron grabbed his first ball and watched the guy next to him before trying his own hand.

Seeing Cameron wrinkle his nose and then decide to go in causes him to laugh and tease the boy a little. "What's the matter Cam-chan? You don't want me to win you a giant stuffed animal?" Grinning he gives the already mussed head of hair another ruffle before getting their game cards for inside. "Skee ball hm? Haven't played this in years..." He muses aloud but smiles slightly watching the other watch the person next to them and then trying to roll the ball up the lane.

After Cameron's try he finally goes about starting his own game on the machine next to the eight year-old's and does a steady and smooth progress through the balls, not really caring or trying in the game. This is for the boy to enjoy, and while not old by any means, it's just his kind of 'game'. Laughing softly to himself, he shakes his head. After all, that's not the kind of game Cameron would be allowed in. What with being eight and family, and he has no interest in children regardless besides being a good uncle to the only kid he can tolerate.

Realizing he's just thrown his last ball, an eyebrow goes up at the score while tickets start to pump out. "Hmm, not bad but definitely not the best I've ever done. How did you do Cam-chan?" He looks over at the boy to see if he's finished yet and what his score was.

Cameron's first attempt was a complete failure. But while his Uncle was off in some daydream, maybe reminiscing; he started another and really aimed this time. With his tongue tucked in his cheek he was steadily racking up a good number of points, and the tickets came pouring out. He grinned, pleased with himself and looked over to his Uncle's score. They had actually tied that last one. He laughed and pointed. "I almost beat you, did you see?"

Cam did one more game, gathered his tickets and moved on to the next. This game was a speed and coordination challenge. It had a small line that a red light traveled along, and at certain points you were supposed to hit the button to stop it before it ran into something that blocked the path. Concentrating cam started out on the low level, moving to the second, then third. The higher the level, the faster the red dot moved. Soon it was flying and cam was almost squealing when he hit the button. "Too fast," he laughed, smacking the button again but not fast enough. He seemed to like this one and he did manage quite a nice haul of tickets. He occasionally peeked over to see how Ryu was doing, wondering if he might be doing better at something. It was always a contest.

After they spent an hour of romping from one machine to another, cam had a bag full of tickets and his hands were nearly exhausted from all the game handling. They fed all the tickets they had through the machine that made silly chomping noises and collected the note at the end that had added everything. "Can we turn them in now?" He took his Uncle's hand, dragging him over to the glass counters containing the prizes, looking in at all the different things he could get. Most of them seemed like kiddie prizes, but when he looked up, the back wall was filled with things more to his liking.

"Oooo, look look Right there, do you see it?" He pointed to the small remote control helicopter. "That's an air hog! I think," he squinted a bit, trying to see if he could see the brand name. Lifting the note he looked at how many tickets it took and realized he didn't have enough. His face crumbled in an instant. "Awww."

"You're a couple years away from beating me brat." Chuckling he grins at the boy to show no real hard feelings. As they go he lets the other stay focused on his games while drifting off to nearby ones to give his own hand at a few. He never goes far away, just one or two and only when Cameron gets really into a game that doesn't have two machines so both of them can go at the same time. At those times he tends to drift to shooting games where he almost always gets the new high score.

The shooting games he tends to finish before Cameron finishes the game he's on and so manages to get over there for his turn on it while the boy moves on to the next one. Naturally by the end he has his own share of tickets and looks over at the disappointed kid who wants the helicopter. "You know, since we took the bike here it would be a touch difficult to take that back to the apartment..." He drolls out before looking back at the toy. "Still, I suppose I could lend you some tickets and and get a bag to take it back in so long as you let me fly it before you go home." He grins while giving a playful wink.

Together they had enough for the helicopter as well as one or two of the smaller prizes, like some candy or something. Once Cameron decides on what he wants to do, he nudges the other. "Do you want to play some more games, get on some more rides, or head on back?" He asks while they leave the gaming center.

Being reminded of the bike, he frowned more. "And you teased me about a huge stuffed animal. The helicopter is way smaller," he added in a tone that almost said he was pouting. He was just a little sad he hadn't been able to gather the tickets himself is all, nothing huge to worry over. Especially since Ryu offered his own tickets to the situation at hand. Cameron went from small pout and disappointment to wide eyes and a continuous nod that said something like ,"yes yes yes, tickets, please, please." Or at least his soft brown eyes pleaded that way behind the think lenses.

By the time the exchange was done, the young boy held a bag with a brand new helicopter in tow, mini rubik cube, a deck of cards and some assorted candies, one of which he was chewing on as they walked away from the counter. Enjoying the strawberry treat he looked up and made a face that said he was burnt out on the games. "I think we did plenty of damage here. Your high scores are all over the place," he commented, grinning in what may have been pride for his Uncle.

Leaving the center, cameron fished the map out and took a long look over the entire park. They'd done so many things today he could barely keep track of what may have been left. Finally he discovered something he's seen earlier and took his Uncle's hand, smiling. "One more thing," he chirped, now back to his usual happy self.

They weaved through the crowd back towards the entrance/exit of the park, veering off to the right towards a small shop. When inside cameron drug his Uncle to the counter and pointed at the wall. "Can we do this before we leave? Please?" The shop was a photography related establishment, filled with various backgrounds and costumes if the families wanted to dress up. The boy didn't want to dress up, but he did want pictures with his Uncle. Nice one's he could frame and put around like normal families did. His house was lacking in something so personal. "They have keychains," he said, fingering the small empty trinkets waiting to be filled, "and theme frames." He held up one with a roller coaster going around the edges and another with a pretty beach scene; palm trees and all.

Chuckling at the boy's comment and pride, he gives a slight rough mussing of the other's hair. "Well I have to give you something to try and beat me in one day don't I?" He teases while feeling happy with the other's obvious pride in him. "Maybe when you get old enough I'll teach you how to play those games or even the real thing." This is more musing aloud since he doubts that David would ever go for it, if still involved in his son's life that is.

Seeing the boy obviously deflate at the thought of playing more games, he stifles a laugh while letting the boy lead him off to the last thing they'll do before calling it a day at the park. Looking at the building with a raised eyebrow, he slowly gives it a once over before slowly giving a consenting nod. "Alright. We can do this. Though after this we'll definitely have to stop at the gift shop to get you a bag you can use to put that stuff in when we leave." He says finally despite the personal resistance to having his picture taken, Ryuuchi is willing to give the other at least one good one of them together.

"Well brat, pick the scene you want and we'll take our picture." Giving the boy a rueful smile, he then looks around the shop a little to see what all they have to offer. There's no way he'll dress up, but chuckles at the thought of putting Cameron in some of the outfits. Going back over to the boy, he looks at him. "Have you picked one?"

Cameron nods happily, rooting through various frames once he'd gotten his Uncle's consent to having a picture made. The woman in charge of the shop wandered over and smiled brightly at the young boy. "Do you need some help young man?" The boy blinked up at her and poked one of the frames. "Do you have any scenes with motorcycles on them?"

Hearing that request she raised a brow and grinned, leaning down to pat the soft brown mop of hair. "We don't have frames with that sort of design, but we can put one in the backdrop." She pulled out a book from behind the counter and sifted through pictures until one of a bike and a beach were in the background. "See here? Is this what you mean?" Cameron looked at the pretty setting sun and cool waters. The bike was on it's kickstand resting beneath a row of tall palms. He smiled and nodded. "I like it," he responded.

Picking out a frame that looked like a 007 theme, he held it up to the backdrop picture and his face lit up. "Ooo, these match up pretty good. Uncle!." He turned showing Ryu the idea he's come up with while the woman smiled in amusement at the young boy. "I like this together. It'll look really cool. Like secret agents on the boardwalk!" He'd seen entirely too many movies. Ryu is lucky he also hadn't seen the suits they could dress up in too, or he may have been in serious trouble.

Once getting the okay from his Uncle he danced over to stand in front of the green screen, pulling ryu's hand to hurry him up again. Ugh, adults were so slow sometimes. Standing next to each other the woman directed them exactly where to stand; a white "X" taped on the floor for each set of feet. Asking for smiles and counting to three, she took five pictures; obviously trying to get a variety they could pick from. Just in case they had blinks, red eyes or who knows what else. When finished the woman directed them over to a viewing screen on a computer where they could pick which one they liked. "You pick it please," he asked, squinting at the photo's that looked identical to him.

Once Ryu chose, the woman nodded and went to print the package out. It came with 4 wallets, 2 4x6's and one 8x10 that went into the frame purchased. Once they were done they also got a bag for all the things they'd gotten, filling it so they could get home on the bike a tad easier. Cameron was slowly losing steam by the time they left the park and headed back to the bike. The kid had totally exhausted himself; but he was happy as a clam. And it showed clearly as he hugged the bag to his chest and walked along in his own little world.

Shaking his head and laughing at Cameron's choices, he goes along with the whole thing wearing a bemused smile except when the pictures were finally being taken. Once done and a bag is purchased so they can tuck everything safely away in it, he keeps a hand around the young boy's shoulders to keep him from wandering off in his exhausted state as they make their way back to the bike. After getting there he helps get the other situated then starts up the bike and takes them back to his apartment.

Turning off the bike, Ryuuchi glances back at Cameron to see if the eight year-old had fallen asleep. Laughing softly at the sight of the boy completely knocked out, but still wearing a grin, he carefully gets off and gets the other out of the safety harness. Gathering everything up, while being mindful to not wake his little guest, he moves to go up to his home looking forward to relaxing without an overabundance of people and sounds everywhere. Getting on and going up in the elevator he looks back on the day. Overall he has to admit that it was fun and worth the irritation of being around screaming children, teenagers and just people in general.

Getting off the elevator and finally entering the apartment, he moves right to the guest room where Cameron is staying and carefully sets the bag full of goodies next to the boy's stay over bag. That done he changes the eight year-old into pajamas before tucking him in to get some rest. Carefully closing the door, he then goes to turn on the tv while grabbing a bottle of beer to drink and relax while passing time before he starts thinking about what to do for dinner.

Roughly an hour later, having finished his beer, he decides that cooking is to much trouble tonight and so decides to order pizza. Calling in the order he gets up to clear out the dishwasher before grabbing himself another beer. Stretching out on the couch he decides to wait until the pizza arrives before going to wake up Cameron. After all, the boy was woken up early and then was going full blast for most of the day. The little guy has to be completely worn out.

Snapping out of the daze caused by the mindless show he's watching by a knocking at the door, he grabs some cash going to answer the door. An eyebrow rises while a slow grin crosses his face as he takes in the sight of a cute delivery boy who's flushed and seemingly unaware he's looking over the slightly undressed customer, having removed all but his jeans and ribbed tank. "Up here." He uses the hand holding the money, and not holding the door open, to tap the other under the chin causing the delivery boy to jolt and turn an even darker red while stammering out an apology.

Laughing softly while leaning against the door, but forward slightly, he teases the other by rubbing under the deliverer's chin with a finger. "It's fine. No harm done... In fact I'm flattered, but unfortunately I'm a tad busy so I'm just going to have to settle for paying you for the food and calling it a night. Is that alright?" Swallowing loudly the other nods, and without checking, accepts the money after handing over the food. That done he runs off leaving Ryuuchi to chuckle while watching the other's ass and enjoying the antics. Yes, after Cameron leaves he'll have to find someone to have a little fun with he decides.

Cameron had settled into the harness and coiled his arms around Ryu like a life line. Even if he did let go the harness was still holding him steadily in place, but it was a reflex to hold on regardless. The ride seemed longer this time, but that's because he was too busy trying to keep his eyes from closing. At one point he might have drooled a little on the back of his Uncle's jacket, but that was a don't ask don't tell sort of situation. Totally hush-hush topic. When they arrived at the apartment the young boy was clonked and completely out. His head lolled and drooped forward as his Uncle slipped him out of the harness and hauled his light body into his arms. Barely a sound came out of him except the rhythmic in and out of his breath. The eight year old could sleep through just about anything, especially when his batteries were sapped.

Once upstairs cameron made a few mumbles under his breath, his limber body bending any way directed as he was helped out of his casual clothes and into sleep wear. Messy brown locks stuck up at the back of his head comically and his tongue even managed to loll slightly at the corner of his mouth. It was just too funny -not- to laugh at the kid. If someone wanted to know what a weird sleeper looked like, times about 100% cuteness- it was cameron.

The boy burrowed under the covers out of some sixth sense and stayed there for quite some time. The only thing that managed to wake him later was the fact that the body had business to take care of, and he -really- had to go. That Icee had been huge after all. Sliding out of bed his hand grabbed at the glasses case, tugging the small frame free to slide onto his flushed face. Yawning wide he left the room and made his way to the bathroom, taking care of the urge; washing his hands and face after.

Curious what time it was he padded quietly down the hall, sleepy eyes peering around the corner into the living room. What he was met with was a half-dressed Uncle speaking out the door to someone, and the smell of pizza assaulting his nose. He sniffed softly and his always eager stomach growled in answer. Reaching under the hem of his shirt he rubbed the talking belly and walked into the living room, trying to see who Ryu was talking too. He just missed the exchange as the door was shut and his Uncle turned around to see the young boy standing there, half-awake and smiling. Oblivious.

Closing the door with a reluctant sigh, he turns around and raises an eyebrow seeing Cameron awake. Giving the other a slight smile he steps further into the house since the other clearly has no idea of what just happened between him and the delivery boy. "Hey brat. Finally woke up I see. Just in time for dinner." He teases while going into the kitchen to get plates and the pizza cutter. Re-cutting the pizza, he then dishes out two slices for Cameron and three for himself.

Setting the plates on the table he goes to grab his unfinished beer. "What do you want to drink Cam-chan?" He asks while going back into the kitchen. Waiting for a response, he then gets the other a glass before sitting in his own spot. "Well, did you have fun today?" He asks with a knowing grin after they've had a few bites of food. Listening to the boy chatter on, he just smiles and nods while continuing to eat.

After they finish he taps the other's nose. "Alright, let's clean up and then we can figure out what to do until you're ready to crash again." He grins before starting to put the leftover pizza into a container then into the fridge. After they get everything put away he faces the other and leans against the counter. "Okay little brat, any ideas?"

The boy continues smiling, still not fully awake. He looks at the door and then his Uncle, not commenting on anything. He does however give Ryu a small look-over, wondering if he'll get muscles like that when he's older. He was a pretty skinny kid sadly. Blinking as if brought out of a small daze, he rubs his stomach again and follows the older into the dining room. Sliding into the chair he stares at the table and then looks up to take his plate, smiling sleepily. "Pizza, hamburger and hot dog. All in one day. Father would faint," he commented, the tone not serious but not untrue either.

"Mmm, I think just water is fine Uncle." He'd had his fill of sweets for the day, so he'd pass up on the soda, and even juice. Nibbling on his first piece he'd joined by the other and start their dinner. Being asked if he had a fun time was like asking if the sun was hot. He had a complete blast. It's something he didn't think he could ever forget. It might have just been an amusement park; which meant nothing really to some people. But to a sheltered kid like him, well, it really had been good medicine for a lonely heart. "Yeah, it was the funnest thing ever," he answered, popping a pepperoni into his mouth after it had escaped his first bite.

The meal was quiet for the most part, and cameron was still waking up a bit. He probably would pass back out if he was put back in bed. Nearly done, he wrinkles his nose under the poke and grins slightly. Finishing off his last slice he helps clean up and throw away the garbage. "Can we watch a movie again, maybe?" He was simply too tired to try another round of chess, and he wasn't sure there was anything besides that to do. "Or, is there something you want to do Uncle?"
