Chuckling he nods while motioning the other off. "Alright. Go brush your teeth and I'll put something on for us to watch." Smiling at the obviously tired boy, he makes sure that Cameron gets to the bathroom okay before going back to the living room to flip through the movies and find something they can watch. With how tired the boy is, he doesn't think he'll mind watching something a bit more adult. Finding one that he likes, but won't be too loud or age inappropriate, Ryuuchi settles back while waiting for the other to come back and join him.

Once Cameron comes back out, just like he did for the movie at the other's house, he covers them with a blanket while letting the boy use him as a pillow. After getting settled, the elder man starts the movie and soon the film is on the screen. Despite watching the movie, he keeps an eye on the tired boy and once the young boy falls back asleep, he gathers him up to put back to bed. Laughing softly to himself he brushes hair out of the boy's face, which seems to be a pointless battle, before easing out to let the exhausted eight year-old rest.

After finishing the movie, he decides to work a bit then head to bed. Settling back with a sigh, he pulls up the emails and starts looking at the things needing his attention. Working through that, feeling a bit tired after the day but also from the monotony of the job, he slowly drifts off to look at other jobs. Pausing at one that catches his eye, he sends an enquiry about it before shutting down his laptop for the night. Putting everything back he goes off to brush his own teeth then go to bed himself. Sleeping in it's only natural that smells of cooking aren't filling the apartment to wake anyone up.

Cameron nodded and wobbled off to the bathroom to brush, coming back to crawl onto the couch and settle in for the movie. Seeing it was a more adult movie he smiled, pulling the blanket further around himself as he curled his small frame against his Uncle, giving off a yawn that said he wouldn't last too long. He managed to last about half way, surprisingly. His head drooped finally amidst a wicked car chase, leaving his Uncle to gather him up and tuck him back in bed. He began burrowing as soon as he hit the sheets, giving his Uncle a small game of trying to get his glasses off and put away in their case.

The boy slept like the dead. Which meant he managed to wake up early despite no one to wake him or the familiar smells of breakfast to lull him out by the stomach. It was still dark, and the clock beside his bedside flashed 5:00a.m. in red. He sat up groggily, sliding out of the bed to go find the bathroom. Without too much trouble he managed to get in and out without bumping into anything. His shoulder brushed the doorframe once, but it wasn't too bad of a bump. Looking down the blurred hallway he padded down to his Uncle's door, finding it cracked slightly. Peeking in he located the bed and the sleeping lump within. Or at least he thought so without the use of his glasses.

Nibbling his lip he pushed inside, padding over on bare feet to the edge. The bed was huge, and the covers soft as a cloud and the sheets were cool and almost slippery. He blinked in the dark and then tucked his tongue on cheek, crawling up onto the bed as careful as an eight year old could manage. Sliding himself into place, he claimed one of the large pillows and curled up with a yawn. He was still tired, but for some reason he'd remembered that not once had he told his Uncle thank you. It had bothered him considerably. He didn't understand why he hadn't said such a simple thing. It's not that he was spoiled and ungrateful, or that he expected to be coddled. He honestly felt bad.

Getting a whiff of soap and the hints of cologne clinging to the pillow, he buried his face into the expanse and sighed. It smelled nice. Reaching out his fingers brushed a strand of his Uncle's dark hair off his forehead, being careful not to wake the older male. Whether or not he'd already done it just crawling into the bed was questionable. His voice was a whisper when he spoke. "Thank you for yesterday Uncle. And not just that, but everything. I probably don't say it enough, and I'm sorry. I," he paused, "I wish you were my Father. No, not my Father but my Dad." That last part had just slid out, as if he'd been keeping that small bit inside for a long time. "Pretty selfish, huh?" He asked as his voice slurred and his lids fluttered. A few moments later his hand slid away and plopped on the pillow. His breathing steady.

Feeling the bed shift causes the elder male to move slightly before sighing and settling back down. When Cameron starts to talk, it slightly drags him out of unconsciousness so he can hear the boy talking. While it doesn't rouse him enough to fully wake up or really connect what was being said at the moment. Still, it's one of the bombs that just sits and will go off at leaving untold consequences.

After a few more hours of sleep, he finally stirs and frowns when he feels the dip in the bed. Yet the dip isn't big enough for a bed partner, and he hasn't had one of those in a while anyway. Shifting and slowly opening his eyes, he has to blink a couple of times to make sure that he's seeing things right. "When did he get in here?" He asks finally still confused while sitting up and shoving a hand through his hair.

With a soft sigh and shaking his head he slowly lays back down, not quite ready to get up yet. "It's a good thing I didn't convince that pizza boy to stay or call him..." He mutters to himself thinking of his on call lover. "Oh well, guess it's not that big of a deal. Although I would think he's too old to be sneaking into an adult's bed..." With another pauses he pushes some hair out of the boy's face. "It's a good things he's such a cute kid." He mutters with a light chuckle.

While having the niggling feeling that something had happened last night, he ignores it in favor of waking up the little bed sneak. "Cam~.... Cam-chan.... Time to wake up." He calls out in a deceptively soft voice as a grin slowly grows across his face while easing back the covers. Suddenly, and without anything to give away what he's about to do, he swiftly attacks and starts to tickle the defenseless and unconscious boy mercilessly.

Cameron had slept pretty darn good. The second bed had been like sleeping on some sort of therapeutic cloud. It just took hold of it's owner and silently wrapped it's fluffy little arms around them, forcing sleep. Or something like that. Distantly he'd heard his name, the voice like a slow bit of music breaching the fog of sleep. He mumbled something incoherent and rolled over, buried beneath the covers like always.

When the older male slid beneath the covers as well, planning an attack; cam wasn't even close to being able to retaliate. When the tickles rained down on his small form he went from a grunt, to a groan, to a full on confused squeal. "Ngh.. uhhh.. oooahahaha!" Little arms flailed and pushed at the figure next to him, brown eyes popped open still dazed from sleep.

"Nooo, no more, no more," he pleaded, his cheeks flushed and his hair an absolute mess. He fought back with what strength he could muster and managed to wriggle out from under the covers, nearly slipping off the side of the bed in an attempted escape. "Time out, I give, ahaha," he coughed a few times once Ryu stopped, panting softly after as he looked at his Uncle with a huge grin. "Morning," he managed, swallowing.

He glanced around and suddenly realized he was in his Uncle's room. Oops, he'd forgotten about that. Looking a bit guilty he cast his eyes away and slowly slid out of the large bed, adjusting his clothes so they were straight. "uhh, I'll g-go wash up," he managed and slipped from the room, wasting no time in a hasty retreat.

Watching the other scurry off, he speaks up before the boy gets too far. "Oh, and Cam-chan? Next time just ask if you want to sleep with me. Though sometimes I'll say no if someone else beat you to it." He teases with a grin while continuing to watch the eight year-old.Yawning and stretching once Cameron is out of sight, he slowly slides out of bed and makes his way to his own bathroom to wash up a bit. It's a good thing that his guest didn't get too comfortable with him since before he went to sleep he'd shed his pants and so was completely naked.

Once done in the bathroom, and some pants are pulled on, Ryuuchi goes into the kitchen to get coffee going and then start on breakfast. Today is just a simple french toast with eggs and bacon. Since they had so much junk yesterday, he puts out the milk and a glass of water for each of them. Finishing up the food and leaving the full plates on the table, the man leaves to go gather his absent guest.

"You about ready to eat Cam-chan?" Calling out the elder steps into the guest room to see just what is keeping the small boy. "The food is going to get cold if you don't hurry." Looking around he stifles a yawn while trying to spot the boy and see just what is keeping him.

"O-okay.. ," he stuttered slightly, still embarrassed. Cameron flushed slightly at the mention of someone else being in his Uncle's bed. He hadn't really considered that since they were the only two there. Actually, he hadn't considered much of anything. It was just some small urge he'd had to join the other in bed. Like a slumber party or something. No, that hadn't been it either. He'd just wanted to be there. No excuses. Just be there and sleep. There just wasn't a deeper explanation in his mind. Like sleep walking, he'd just ended up doing it.

After deciding on a shower, he went back to his room to gather clean clothes and then back to the bathroom. After his shower he toweled off and rubbed his hair so it wasn't dripping all over, not sure where the dryer would be. Chewing his lip he decided to let the wild mane just dry how it wanted and dressed himself in some jeans and a long sleeved shirt that had a picture of naruto on the front. He liked that show a lot. He had a shirt for Itachi and Pain too. They were pretty cool. Once dressed and his dirty clothes in hand, he went back to his room to deposit the clothes into a bag and rub his wet head a bit more, using his comb to try and tame the wet mop.

When his Uncle came looking for him he hurriedly finished grooming and was just stuffing things back in his bag when the older arrived. He smiled and sniffed once, finally getting a whiff of what was for breakfast. It smelled like french toasts. "Smells good," he said, passing his Uncle to go to the dining room.

He chewed lightly on his thumb nail, having a new thought in his head. It was bothersome, but he did remember what he'd said to his Uncle while the man had slept. Sliding into his chair he took a drink of the water and picked up his fork, casting brown eyes to the older. "Um, I'm sorry if I caused you trouble. I came in to say thank you, for everything. But you didn't wake up, so..," he trailed off, poking at his french toast.

Raising an eyebrow and looking up at the boy who's picking at his food and looking uncomfortable, he sighs with a faint smile. "You're fine brat. I never said I was mad about you sneaking into my room and sleeping with me, though you're getting to the age where you're too old to do that short of being with a person you really like and are attracted to." He ends up musing more to himself than talking to Cameron. Shaking his head slightly, he refocuses on the boy across from him. "That aside, you're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it."

Smiling slightly and reaching over to flick the boy's forehead, he makes the eight year-old look at him. "Now then, eat your breakfast and we'll take one of your bags back to your house and then have some fun before grabbing your other one and taking you home." That said, he focuses on his own food and quickly finishes. While waiting for Cameron, he refills his coffee and sips at it. After a few moments he sets the cup to the side. "Did you have anything you wanted to do today Cam-chan?" He asks a bit curious to see if the boy has any requests.

"Attracted..," he repeated, looking up with a furrow between his brows. "Okay." He'd seen on all kids of movies times where people slept together but that was it. There wasn't really anything else beyond that, and the people were much older. Scratching his head lightly he then got back to his toasts, taking another piece of bacon while he was at it. He could muse on that tidbit later, for now he just wanted to enjoy the rest of their weekend. It was Sunday, which meant he had today, and then it was back to school Monday. For once he wasn't looking forward to the weekend ending.

The flick to his head broke his concentration away from his plate, blinking up at his Uncle a second after. Nodding he smiled and did as told, finishing his meal. When he was done he wiped his mouth on the napkin and frowned. "Uncle, wouldn't it be easier for you to go get the car instead of so many trips?" He tipped his head to the side, still wet locks licking his forehead. "I mean I don't mind going back and forth, but that seems like it's a lot of trouble for you." Well, he supposed either way would be sort of a back and forth sort of deal.

As far as what he wanted to do, well, he wasn't sure. Only two things came to mind. "We can fly the helicopter and play another game or two of chess," he suggested, smiling widely. "You wanted to fly it, right? Is there anything you want to do too?" He got up, taking his plate to the sink. The glasses were next. Standing on tiptoe he grabbed a wet rag and wiped the table off, a normal routine they did after any meal. He liked helping, even if he didn't do much of it at his own home.

Hearing the question about the car makes the elder stare at his guest with a blank expression. "It would, yes... But with the weather so nice out it seems like it'd be an incredible waste to not ride the bike." Giving an exaggerated sigh he waves a hand. "However, if you're bound and determined to take the car then I suppose I'll do so." While making light of it to Cameron, he really is a bit irked at the thought of taking the car out on such a nice day. Even though the car is fast and he enjoys driving it, minus taking it out for a drive when need be to keep things flowing in the car, the bike is always the first and main choice for him when going anywhere.

At the question of whether or not he has something he wants to do, Ryuuchi pauses to think about it before shaking his head slightly. "No, can't say I have anything particular I want to do today. Though we can certainly fly your helicopter around for awhile and get lunch before coming back to play a game or two before taking you back home. Have to get you back by dinner time after all." Laughing softly he puts the rest of the dishes away and finishes cleaning up before facing the small guest. "Now then, go get ready and pack up your things minus your helicopter and we'll head out."

Ruffling Cameron's hair as he walks by, he goes to get ready himself. After a quick shower and throwing on some clothes, he goes to dig up his car key with a long sigh. He enjoys driving his car, don't get him wrong, but he'd much prefer the freedom and thrill of his bike over the car any day. Tucking the keys into his pocket along with his wallet, he goes to gather up his weekend guest. "You ready yet brat?" He calls out.

Cameron blinked then frowned, waving his hand lightly. "No, no, I mean.. I didn't mean you had to take the car. I was just thinking it would be easier for you." His Uncle's expression had shown disappointment. He was sure of it. Or maybe he was just looking at the man's eyes too intensely. He'd just sensed something wasn't right. Or maybe he was just seeing things and overly worried. The poor thing was trying to explain his reasoning, though he ended up looking flustered and confused by the time he was done. "I'm not determined at all," he mumbled, rubbing his own mop of hair for once.

Hearing his Uncle had nothing he wanted to do, the boy again eyed the older. Strange that a grown man didn't have something he wanted to do. But cameron let it go, changing his expression to the usual smile instead. "Okay then, sounds like a plan." With that he excused himself and went to pack his things, attempting to shove everything he'd brought back into the bag a few minutes later.

He'd managed to roll things this time so the bag wasn't quite as bulgy; closing the zippers had been no challenge as well. Puffing out a small breath he examined the room to make sure nothing was left behind. His toiletries had been gathered earlier, so he was sure he had those as well. Leaving his puzzle book out, he busied himself with that while waiting on the older to finish up getting ready.

Hearing his name called he shoved the book and pencil in the side pocket of his bag and came out to join the older, smiling as he hoisted his bag onto his shoulder, wobbling in place. "Ready, and we really can still take the bike," he chirped, going for the door.

Giving a dramatic sigh he faces the boy. "Brat, you're driving me crazy. You're lucky I like you so much or I'd tickle you until you peed yourself in retribution." He grins evilly at the boy before chuckling. "Now, go grab your stuff. We'll keep it in the car so nothing gets forgotten or if we get preoccupied while we're out we'll have everything on us." With that he gives the boy's hair an extra ruffling before letting him go off to grab his stuff.

Once the other runs off and comes back with his bags, the elder male gives a small smile before leading the way out of the apartment and down to the car. Just like his bike it's a sleek piece of machinery that screams speed and danger, and like the bike it's a two seater. Except this two seater has a trunk they can put Cameron's bags into. "Okay, in you go brat." Since the doors open up and not out, he goes over to open and close the door for the eight year-old before getting in himself.

Starting up the car it lets out a loud roar before settling to a loud purr. "Alright, to the park we go." Shifting gears he quickly backs up then takes off. Soon they're at the park and getting the helicopter ready to fly. "Do you see any of your friends Cam-chan? If you do, you can invite them to join us if you want." He offers knowing that the boy enjoys spending time with his friends. That's normal and to be expected, no matter how cool of an uncle you are.

Hearing the threat of a tickle attack so immense he could possibly pee his pants was enough to snap cameron out of his little confused mood. The grin worked pretty well too. "Uhhh," he wasn't sure how to answer that so he merely turned a beat a hasty retreat for his remaining helicopter; his hair again sticking up from the constant rubs. Once he had both bag, and helicopter in tow he returned, holding them in front of him like some sort of suit of armor against a possible assault. "All set."

Following the older down to the garage, he approaches the small car and puts his stuff in the trunk which had been popped open by remote. He liked the bike a lot, but he liked the small car too. It was hard honestly to say which he liked more. The bike was great for nice weather, but did no good in winter. So sadly it was a once a year fun as opposed to all year round with the car. It was only logical thinking.

Sliding in, he clicked his belt in place and rolled the window down, grinning as the engine came to life. He didn't have to take his glasses off for this ride, so he could see everything clearly and without that certain blur that the bike usually provided. When they arrived they got the helicopter set up and the initial checks done that showed the toy was ready to fly. Hearing his Uncle offer to share their time with friends, he peered around and located one boy he knew, but they didn't really speak much. He shrugged and looked up at the older. "Nope, just us," he answered, handing the remote over. "You first." He offered a bright smile, pointing upwards. "Take-off, go!"

Shaking his head and laughing at Cameron's words, he takes the controller. "You know, I thought kids were all about testing out and playing with their new toys..." He teases while the small toy rises from the ground. Soon he has it flying around in circles and dodging through branches and a few small maneuvers. After a few rounds around the makeshift track, he lands it in front of them then hands the controller over. "Alright, your turn."

Sitting on a nearby bench he watches the boy play with his new toy. "Cam-chan, what do you want for lunch?" He calls out after awhile. Looking down, he notices his phone is going off. "Ah... Think on what you want to eat. I have to take this real quick." Giving the boy a smile, he quickly walks out of earshot, but still within sight. "Hello?" After about ten minutes he hangs up and stares at his phone for a moment before walking back. "Well, have you thought of where you want to eat?" He asks despite his mind thinking on the phone call which was about a job offer that, in the end, he accepted.

That means tomorrow he'll be turning in his notice to work, as well as David. That's one interaction he's not looking forward to, but it's needed. At the very least it gives him some time to figure out how to tell Cameron that his uncle will be working for a company that at any moment could send him to another branch so they won't see each other much.

"Well, I am, sort of," he commented handing the controller over to his Uncle. "But without you, I wouldn't have even gotten the helicopter. So I think you taking it for a spin first is fair." Wasn't it? How thoughtful of the young man. Watching it take off he grins and places a hand above his brows, blocking the sun as he watches his Uncle open the toy up in the sky. "Wow...," he whispered in awe, watching how well it was handled.

He was nearly dancing by the time he got the controller back. Giving a laugh he ran along under the small chopper, bursting out with sound effects to go along with the dangerous spins. Hearing his Uncle call about food, he pauses and holds up two fingers in a peace sign. Well, no, that his version on chopsticks. "Chinese! Crab rangoon! Sweet and sour chicken!" And there you had it. "Fortune cookiessss..," he cried as he ran off again, following the toy which was hovering lower near the grass. he hadn't even noticed his Uncle had drifted off to take a call. Guess he'd have to give the whole food choice over again when the man returned.

Letting the toy land after a while, sweating like crazy from running in circles- he returned to the bench. "Chinese," he repeated, getting straight to the point while catching his breath. He set the toy down between them and sunk onto the bench for a breather. "Sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoon, fortune cookies, and orange soda," that last bit added with a hopeful lift in his little dark brow.

Ryuuchi raises an eyebrow and fights back a smile. "More soda? I think I might get in trouble for that you know... Spoiling you so much and all." He teases while a grin finally forms across his face. Of course he doesn't mind letting the boy have soda while with him, or spoiling the surprisingly unspoiled child, whenever possible. Still, it'd be no fun if he didn't tease the other just a bit. "In light of that you might have to bribe me a bit there brat."

Grinning wide, he waits to see how the little one will react to that. Since it's the last day together for awhile, he wants to make the most of getting in a few teases good teases with the small boy. It's his main form of entertainment, outside of sex of course, and due to the infrequency of seeing Cameron he doesn't get anywhere near enough. "Well? Got a good bribe for me to give in and give you orange soda?" Leaning down he locks eyes with the small form in front of him, a large grin spread across his face to show how much fun he's having.

Cameron gives the 'awww' face to the soda deal. "But how would Father know if you gave me soda or not?" He challenged, raising the brow right back up again. "Bribe you?" Ugh, he hated when Ryu did this. He never had the slightest clue what to offer the guy. I mean what could you offer an adult that had whatever he wanted already? Well, mostly. It was unfair to think a kid could even top anything like that. He pursed his lips, reaching up to give a little poke at his glasses which had slipped down again.

He was really thinking. You could almost see the little 8 year old gears turning in a bubble above his head. It was comical for certain, but the boy really was trying. He huffed out, grabbing the helicopter before sliding off the bench. "You know that's not fair," he groaned, out of steam on the idea. When his Uncle leaned down, giving him a little stare down with that awful grin, he stuck out his tongue and crossed his eyes. "Juice is fine, you win, I got nothing." Reaching out he grabs his Uncle's nose and tugs on it then quickly reaches further up to ruffle the older mans hair, making a mess out of it. He squeals happily and takes off with his toy, laughing at the sneak attack he'd given.

"Knowing your father I'm sure he'd manage to find out somehow..." He replies in a dry tone, though inwardly he knows that it's less than likely the man will even care. Still, it's best to avoid giving the boy too much sugar. Especially after all the junk food they ate yesterday. No sense in making the boy's stomach upset and leave him feeling miserable for a day or two. That'd be just the way to end the weekend wouldn't it?

When the boy grabs his nose then ruffles his hair, eyes narrow as the child is proceeded to be grabbed and tickled mercilessly. "Your years away from being able to pull that kind of stunt brat." He gives a very toothy grin while continuing to tickle the other until tears can be seen streaming down his face. It's at that point he lets the eight year-old go and go about putting the helicopter away so they can be on their way to lunch. "Alright, ready to go?" He asks smirking over his shoulder while getting ready to walk to the car.

This is what he'll miss if he gets sent off. Just having some care free fun with someone who genuinely likes him and is transparent in their needs and wants. Once Cameron is in the car and buckled up, he takes them to a small local chinese place for them to eat. After ordering and eating, Ryuuchi looks at the time. "We should be taking you home soon."

And stream those tears did. He'd almost managed to step out of the battle zone before the tickle bomb got ahold of him. He laughed and hugged his helicopter, trying to use the toy as some sort of shield for his stomach. Didn't work out very well as he was teary eyed and squirming like a worm on a fishing hook. "Give give, I givvve," he cried, his little form trembling. When he was released he handed the toy over and made a run for the public restroom building just a few benches up the trail. He yelled back to his Uncle to wait a second while he did so. The quick stop was unavoidable when he'd just been tickled half to death.

Returning a few minutes later, air drying his hands, he grinned. "Okay, all set," he said, giving the okay to leave. Zooming off to the car with some left over sound effects from the copter flying, he slides in and buckles up. He had chinese on the brain already. His mouth watered at the thought of sweet and sour chicken. He'd tried to convince the chef at home to make chinese one time, but got a strange look as though he'd asked for something unheard of. Bleh, no fun.

Going into the chinese place Cameron slid into a booth and grabbed the menu, looking for what animal he was according to his birth year. Hearing Ryu say something about home he wrinkled his nose and sighed dramatically. "I guess so." He offered a grin after the sigh, nudging his Uncle under the table with his foot. "So when are you going to start the new job?" He asked suddenly, changing the subject.

Feeling the little foot nudge his right before the question is asked, Ryuuchi leans back a little to look at the small form across from him. "Most likely within the next week. Just enough time to finish up a few things at work as well as hand in my notice. Though finding a replacement for me won't be easy and that's not really enough of a time frame for a notice, but that's what they're getting..." The last sentence is muttered to himself under his breath before refocusing on Cameron.

Leaning forward to look the eight year-old in the eyes, his look becomes serious. "Now, I'm sure I don't have to tell you this but don't say anything to your dad. I don't want him going after you about this because I told you about it." In all honesty, David's reaction does have him concerned. More so for the poor defenseless eight year-old than anything. Once he gets the other's understanding, at least what the eight year-old can understand about the situation, he leans back with a small smile and nod. "Good. Now then, while I didn't let you get your soda with lunch... How about we stop and get ice cream before going back?"

While it doesn't quite make up for the serious note in their weekend, nor the possible retribution from David, the offer of ice cream should at least cheer the boy up. After settling the bill, he helps to usher the boy back into the car then drives off to an ice cream place. Once it's there turn he looks down at the small boy next to him. "Well Cam-chan? What flavor do you want?" He asks with a faint grin, and once Cameron is done he gives his order. Paying for and receiving their treat, Ryuuchi leads the way to an outside spot for them to sit and enjoy it. When they finish, the elder man gives a soft sigh before looking over at the companion next to him. "Well, ready to head back home brat?" He asks standing up.

Cameron listened, tipping his head off to one side as though he was truly following along with the answer. "Okay," he answered, figuring that's a decent enough answer. He wasn't sure what he'd really expected, but he did know adults usually put in for two weeks. Not sure where he'd heard that. Might have been his own Father at some point speaking to someone on the phone. Either way, he got it. He wondered what kind of changes would happen when everything went off routine. He hoped it wouldn't bother their time together too much.

When he was asked with all seriousness not to speak to his Father about the whole thing, he frowned. "I wouldn't say nothing to Father. Really. I promise Uncle," he added quickly, his own face showing a youthful sincerity and determination. Dark eyes were focused and honestly, very convincing. It was like a secret. he had to hold secrets and not let them get out. He'd been taught that by his Uncle after all, so how could he honestly let the man down? At least on purpose. It's like he would see his Father very soon anyway.

When their food arrived he grinned at the pile of deliciousness set out before him. When the mention of ice cream was added to the mix he nearly felt his mouth water double-time. "Ice cream," he repeated, perking up almost an inch taller like a little chick poking out of it's nest. "Sweet, yes please." He grabbed his fork and dug in with enthusiasm, having chocolate dipped cones dancing in his head.

By the time they finished everything off, the boy already felt stuffed. But there was always room for ice cream, even a few burps would assure that. Kids always made room for dessert. By the time they arrived at the ice cream place he was already unbuckling his seat belt as the car eased into a spot. Looking towards the window, peering at the large menu that was clear in sight, he decided within three minutes flat. Looking to his Uncle he replied, "I would like a chocolate dipped waffle cone, with cookies and cream scoops, and the ice cream dipped with the chocolate shell too." In other words toss ice cream on a cone and just dip the whole dang thing. This boy wanted chocolate and more chocolate with cookies crammed in the midst.

Finishing their treats took a while, and a lot of napkins for the boy, but it had been a delicious mess. Licking his lips a few times and throwing the napkins away, he made sure his hands were clean and nodded. "Ready." With that they were back to the car, and on the way towards his home. He was in a good mood, but as they approached his home; he suddenly felt a touch of loneliness creeping inside his gut. He wished Ryu could stay with him. That instead of coming to Cameron's home, they would be going to -their- home. He wasn't sure when he first had these feelings, but it had only started happening in the past year.

Shaking his head at what Cameron orders, but not stopping him, a laugh just slips out. "You're going to have cavities and diabetes when you get older." He comments but just ruffles the boy's hair. Watching the young boy try to eat his treat causes him to laugh again. "Be sure to not get anything on your clothes there brat." After they clean up and get going, he inwardly sighs thinking of what he's leaving the small boy to. Or not to as it may be.

Once they reach the house and the car is parked, Ryuuchi gets out to help the boy carry in the extra stuff he's coming back with. "Alright, let's get this stuff up to your room and then I'll have to get going." With a small smile, he lightly ruffles then shoves the other's head to get him to move. Once home he'll have to write up his resignation letter, send in a notice to the department with the letter plus a copy to the boss, and start looking into finishing up his open projects and diverting new ones to others. Not too mention cleaning out his space and possibly finding new places to live if he gets relocated.

Once in the boy's room, he sets the bag down on the bed and waits for Cameron to set his down before scooping up the small boy giving him a squeeze. "I'll see you later brat. Be sure to behave yourself or else next time you won't get any treats." He lightly threatens before setting the other back down.

Cameron blinked, looking at the other with confusion. "Dia...what? Huh?" He didn't even know what that was. Now the cavity thing he did understand, which made him puff out his cheeks a bit. "I brush lots, and floss too!" Receiving the ruffle he huffed and reached up trying to fix the mess on top of his head. Not that it would do any good.

Once they reached the house he unbuckled and slipped out, helping to gather his things to take inside. Another push and ruffle, he felt like one of those weebly toys that was always off balance when poked at. Huffing an puffing his way up the stairs with all his things was a bit of a challenge, but he managed since some of it was being carried by the older.Tossing his things on the bed, he turned and all but tackled Ryu, wrapping his little arms around the man as he was hoisted up and squeezed in return.

He wrinkled his nose a bit and rested his head on the older's shoulder, giving a small sniff. "I always behave," he returned, "for the most part." Okay so he wasn't perfect, no one was. Squeezing a bit more he almost clung, refusing to let go. Tempted, but didn't. He released the hold and slid down to stand, offering a smile that didn't quite reach the usually vibrant dark eyes. He poked the bridge of his lenses and sniffed again. "I'll see you soon Uncle. Thank you for the awesome weekend. Oh!" Remembering something he went over to the bags from the amusement park and took out a few prints of their picture, holding them up to Ryu. "Don't forget these."

A smile crosses his face while taking the picture. "I wouldn't dream of it Cam-chan. I'll make sure to frame it right away and keep it safe." Kneeling down he pulls the boy in for another hug. "Alright, I have to go now. You better clean up and get ready for dinner. I don't think your nanny will be too appreciative of seeing you in this, since it's unlikely your father will approve either." He sighs not understanding why David had to be so strict on a son he doesn't even seem to want.

"Tell you what, keep your father from freaking out over your clothes and I'll sneak you out for soda and ice cream again. Maybe a rootbeer float?" Grinning he gives the boy a wink before ruffling the eternally messy hair and giving him a quick kiss to the temple. "With that I'm going to get going. Catch you later brat." With one last ruffle, the elder man gets up and leaves the house. Once out of sight of the boy, the relaxed face fades away and a serious concentrated look takes it place. In the car, he makes decent time home but gets a bit irritated as his bike would have been faster and allowed for more maneuvering.

Once home he pulls out his laptop and starts on his list of things to take care of. Only to find one very surprising email. "...Are you fucking serious?" His tone holds disbelief and a hint of anger. In the email is a notice that the next day he will be sent overseas and basically back home. This means not only is not going to be able to give his notice, but not keep his promise to Cameron. According to this email, it will be a long time before he's able to come back. With no other choice, he sends in his notice and arranges the flight, contacts family near the new job location to stay with them until he can find a place, and arrange to have his things shipped over. That under way he starts to pack and sets to taking what he's able and will need. By dawn he's in the cab and off to airport and gone.

Cameron accepted the second hug then looked down at his clothes. Sighing lightly he nodded. "Yeah, okay. I'll get cleaned up." The idea of another ice cream or even a root beer float had his young mind reeling in happiness. He really loved sweets. maybe this Dia...Diab, whatever it was would become part of his future? He needed to look it up first. With another ruffle of his hair, he let his Uncle leave, waving as he went down the steps.

"By Uncle, see you soon," he called down, smiling widely. Little did he know things didn't always go as planned. Going back to his room, he grabbed new clothes to change into and went to the restroom to attempt grooming his poor hair. he was on time for supper and even managed to go to bed early, being full from all the meals he'd had that day.

The next morning he was woken up early for a shower. He sported a dignified uniform for his private school and even had his hair agreeably placed with the help from a little product he'd hidden away. Wax. Great stuff. He was driven to school and dropped off near the front gate where his friends were all mingling. He had absolutely no idea that his Uncle was most likely either at the airport, or on his way by that time. Laughing with friends they wandered inside to begin their education for the day.

When he got home from a long day, he slid out from the car and made his way inside. Going to his room he flopped down into his pile of pillows and pulled out his homework, wanting it done and out of the way. He peered out the window a few times while chewing his eraser, working over questions in his head. Glancing up he grinned in the direction of his night stand where the picture of him and his Uncle was placed. He left it out for the night since his father wasn't going to be home. No reason to hide something if no one would even notice it.

Once he lands, Ryuuchi looks at his phone thinking to call Cameron but is distracted by an older man coming up to him. Putting the phone back in his pocket, he smiles and goes over giving the man a warm hug. "Hello father. It's good to see you." He greets in his native tongue, that's only slightly rusty. The old man, Ryuuchi's father, gives a smile very similar to the one Cameron has received from his uncle. I have missed you Ryuuchi. It's good to see you and that you're well. Come, come... Everyone is waiting to see you and celebrate you're coming back." Nodding he grabs his bags and follows his father out of the airport to the taxi that's waiting for them.

Another thought of Cameron crosses his mind but by this point the boy will be in school and he has no way to contact the other since he doesn't have a phone. But as he starts to think of a way to tell the small boy, his father starts talking to him about the job and other things. By the time they drop off his items and refreshes himself at his father's house, it's time to meet up with the family for dinner and once he gets back he's so exhausted he immediately falls asleep. Following that he starts apartment searching and soon is moving in while starting his new job which then dominates his focus.

~~~~~~Ten years later~~~~~
Stepping off the plane, Ryuuchi looks around feeling a sense of deja vu. "It's been a long time, but it doesn't seem like much has changed. I wonder if Cam-chan is all grown up now." Laughing softly to himself he goes to get settled in before hitting the town for a drink or two. Tomorrow he'll see about contacting Cameron, but it's too late to go bothering the boy now. Not too mention he's looking forward to 'catching up' with his old friends, or making new ones if nothing else.
