Kiyo nods his head and laughs a little, "even if they don't, I am sure Anya will let us eat her cake since she likes you a lot." He follows Arata back to the kitchen, blinking a bit, "oh so the cake is for Sara," he tilts his head the side. He looks at Sophie and then Arata, "see, your going to have some cake," he laughs a little and then walks back out to watch out for new customers.

 

Xane finishes making some meals and places the plates on the table for pick up.

Arata sighed and left to serve the clients. "Are you Arata?" someone asked him and the neko nodded "I wanted to thank you for taking care of my son Ryan. I had an emergency yesterday and I had to let him here". Arata served the clients and smiled to the lady. "My boyfriend and I will be uncles in few months so we try to spend time with babies...when we can of course". The lady giggled "You two are very sweet".

Kiyo looks over at Arata talking to a lady. He walks over and listens to her talk to Arata, "oh? Are you Ryan's mom," he smiles a bit. "We were happy enough to take care of him while you had to do your errand. He was very cute and pretty well behaved. It kind of surprise us, mostly me because I am the one that found him. If you need any help with babysitting, feel free to contact us, we need a bit of practice to get use to taking care of babies."

"I will bring him tomorrow. My daughter has a party at kindergarden so I need to go with her". Arata smiled "It will be our pleasure to look after him". The lady hugged them before she left. "Well Kiyo, Xane should do a room for babies here in restaurant. They can play there while their parents eat". Christie poked his ears "That's a good idea neko. We will chat later about it. Xane needs you two in the kitchen now".

Kiyo nods his head with a smile as he hugs Ryan's mom before she left. He looks at Arata and laughs a little, "yeah, especially for the little run aways like Ryan. I am just glad no one stepped on him." Kiyo looks at Christie and nods his head as he walks to the kitchen, seeing a lot of finished meals on the counter, grabbing a couple and goes to serve the food.

 

Xane laughs a little, "you two sure took your time, you better go serve the food before it gets cold...," he goes back to working on making more meals.

Arata sighed "Sorry boss, Ryan's mom was here. We chat with her a little". The neko looked on cake and blinked "It looks like me Kiyo. Do they want make cakes after me?" Sophie laughed "Yes Arata, we are trying to do a cake with your face on it". Arata left the kitchen in a hurry and giggled "I'm not handsome on cake, I hope I will taste good at least".

"Hm.. than I suppose it is okay," Xane looks at Arata while looking at the cake, laughing a little and takes a water break.

 

Kiyo looks at the cake and tilts his head while laughing a bit, "now your going to sculpture cakes into people?" He looks at Arata as he follows him out of the kitchen, laughing a bit, "I am sure the cake you will taste pretty good," he sticks his tongue out a bit.

Christie laughed as boys left the kitchen "Didn't you tell them I can do such cakes?" She asked Xane "Arata looks so shock. He can eat half of cake himself" Sophie finished to decorate the cake and giggled "I think he already wants to eat it and he's not allowed. That's why he made that face".

Xane looks at Christie and laughs a little, "well.. he never asked so it never came to mind to tell him," he looks at the cake, "well.. probably eating your own face is kind of freaky," he drinks more of his water.

 

"I wonder why they made a cake of your face," Kiyo rubs the back of his neck. "Maybe they wanted to make sure you didn't want to eat it," he laughs a little.

Arata gazed on Kiyo "That's impossible. I will cut it myself" A waiter came and giggled "Sophie asked me to tell you two have the break and she has something sweet for you. Go on kitchen". Arata sighed "I bet they finished the cake".

Kiyo laughs a little and covers his mouth, "so you would still eat it even if it was your face?" He looks at the waiter and looks at Arata, nodding his head, "well.. let's go see what it is," he walks into the kitchen.

 

Xane was outside, enjoying some fresh air while he was on his break and drinks some water.

Arata entered into the kitchen and looked around. "The cake is ready boys. Christie showed me how to do one for Anya's birthday. She wants a neko cake" Sophie smiled and showed them two plates with cheesecakes. Arata nodded "And it has my face. But be sure I will eat it". Christie giggled "It's for Sara boys. She will blow on candles and then you can cut it neko". Sophie put the cake on the big fridge "Do you want something else apart from cheesecake?" Arata nodded "We eat omurice but I will like some pancakes too".

Kiyo tilts his head as he could see Xane on his break since the restaurant wasn't busy right now. He looks at the cakes and notices Arata on the cakes, laughing a little, "that will make Anya very happy since she likes Arata so much," he smiles a bit. Kiyo looks at Arata and then Sophie, laughing a little, "Arata will not refuse any food offers. Pancakes do sound pretty good though."

Sophie smiled “Then go outside to keep company to Xane while I will prepare the pancakes” Arata nodded and whispered to Kiyo “Let’s speak with Xane about the kids play space here in restaurant. We have a free room so can be used for that” Christie giggled as they went out “Are you sure it was a good idea Sophie? I think they are planning something”. Sophie nodded ‘Let them breathe. You are meanie”.

Kiyo tilts his head and looks at Sophie, nodding his head. He looks at Arata and smiles, "do you think he will like that idea?" Kiyo looks at Christie, "yeah.. we should fill that room and what better way than a kids play space." Kiyo heads outside as he looks at Xane.

 

Xane looks at Arata and Kiyo, laughing a little, "already on your break you two?"

 

"Uh... Xane we were wondering about the empty room in the restaurant. We have a good idea about what to fill that space with," Kiyo smiles as he looks at Arata.

 

"Oh? And what exactly do you want to fill that space with," Xane looks over at Kiyo and Arata.

 

"Well, remember how that boy, Ryan was left alone when his mom had to run a errand? He could have gotten hurt if I didn't notice him so.. we think the empty room should be a kids play room."

 

Xane rubs his head as he thinks it over.

"After your son is born Christie can bring him here..." Arata suggested hoping Xane will like his idea. Christie giggled "But who will look after kids Arata since you two have to work?" Arata sighed "Are you trying to ruin my mood Christie? We can do it. If only boss allows us..." Christie petted his head "I think it's a good idea neko".

Kiyo looks at Christie and than Arata, "well, we can always offer a position at the restaurant to babysit the children while the others work. Because depending on hours, it can be pretty busy here."

 

Xane looks at Arata, Christie and Kiyo, taking his cell phone out of his pocket to make a call, walking back into the restaurant.

"Is this meaning he likes our idea?" Arata asked as Xane left. "I hope so" Christie laughed "He did. Now let's go back to kitchen. You two need to eat then back to work". Arata nodded hugging Kiyo "We will show them we can be good parents. But I need to learn how to change babies".

Xane talks with a builder than he knew that helped him build the restaurant. After the call, Xane looks at Kiyo and Arata, giving them some money, "I got something for you two to do, I want you to got to the baby store and go get some toys for the kids. Make sure you get a good amount so the kids aren't fighting over toys. The hours are slow now so you can easily go and come back before it gets busy again."

 

Kiyo looks at Arata and hugs him to, nodding his head, "well.. Sophie can probably teach you since she has changed diapers." Kiyo blinks as he takes the money slowly and looks at Arata, "you ready to go?"

"Yes I'm ready" Christie petted his head and gave him the car's keys. "Kiyo you will drive there. Be sure you will take toys for boys and girls and maybe table and chairs for their seize". Arata nodded and left the restaurant being happy. "Xane trusts us Kiyo. I'm sure he will be proud of us". He threw the keys to Kiyo and started to sing.

Kiyo tilts his head and nods his head as he takes off his apron, "alright we will see what they have and make sure to get toys for both girls and boys. As well as some tables and chairs," he walks out of the restaurant with Arata. He nods his head with a smile, catching the keys and goes into the car, starting it up. Kiyo puts on his seat belt and looks at Arata, "so what do you think we should get for the children?"

 

Xane watches as Kiyo and Arata left, looks up as other waiters start bringing in orders and he starts cooking again.

Christie watched the car until she couldn't see them anymore "I'm sure they can do it. The neko has taste when it comes to children". Sophie giggled "Of course he has".

 

Arata smiled to Kiyo "We need cars and robots for boys, balls and puzzles, horses for them to ride...for girls dolls and kitchen toys, I don't know lots about girls".

Xane looks at Christie and Sophie, laughing a little, "well I will go to the store if we need anymore toys for the kids," he continues cooking.

 

Kiyo looks at Arata as he takes out his notepad from the restaurant, writing down cars, robots, balls, puzzles, horses, kitchen toys and dolls. He rubs his chin, "hm.. well girls like stuff animals, coloring books, and playing dress up. At least that is what I notice when I was babysitting."

"Then add them on list Kiyo. I'm sure boss will be proud of us" Arata smiled "I will hold the list while you are driving" he said putting the piece of paper into his pocket. "You will teach me to drive after wedding....I want to learn too."

Kiyo nods his head as he adds the mentioned items on the list, giving the list to Arata. He starts driving towards the direction of the toy store, "it really isn't that hard, Xane taught me. I am not sure I can really teach you but I am sure Xane can if he was able to teach me."
