"Wake up you two" Christie yelled entering into boys room "Arata perked up his ears but kept sleeping. Christie went near him and touched his ears "Wake up neko boy. Xane is preparing your breakfast. Lots of pancakes with marple syrup for you. And a glass of fresh milk" she whispered into his ear. Arata yawned and opened his eyes "Good morning Christie" he sniffed her and lick his lips "We have fruits too. You smell like a lemon". Christie giggled "That's for my morning sick Arata". He nodded "Baby seem to like lemon then".

 

Christie went to wardrobe and looked for some clean clothes. "Ok boys, time for shower for you two. Xane gives you 10 minutes for it". She laughed when she left the room "Do you think as me Kiyo? They let us to be naughty on shower..."

Kiyo mumbles a little as he could hear Christie's voice and turns on his back, adjusting the blanket and scratches his stomach while his chest was exposed. He slowly opens his eyes as he looks over at Arata and laughs a little, "Christie sure knows how to wake you up," he slowly sits up and stretches with a yawn. He mumbles a little as he looks at the clock with a sigh as he gets out of bed. He looks at Arata and blushes, rubbing the back of his head, "well.. they know how horny we are," he laughs a little, "besides, we don't want breakfast to be getting cold, it tastes better warm," he picks up his clothes and heads to the bathroom.

 

Xane perks his head up as he looks at Christie with a smile, "got them up right away huh? Seems like the are adjusting to waking up earlier. I know Kiyo was pretty use waking up earlier because of school." He continues working on the breakfast and looks at Christie, "make sure you eat plenty to keep your strength up alright. You need all that you get, especially when carrying a baby."

"Good morning Arata" his little costumer greeted him and Arata was surprised when she gave him some candies "I hear you like sweets, these are for you" Arata nodded and after he kissed her he went into the waiters room "I'm popular with kids Kiyo. I received sweets". Xane was already into the kitchen so Arata put his apron "Did you see his face and Christie's one when we arrived in 5 minutes into the kitchen? They thought we would be naughty again..."

 

Sophie entered into the kitchen "Good morning boys. Sara was moody this morning. She asked me whn she can play again with you Arata. I told her later. Do you mind if you visit us tomorrow afternoon? Christie is curious about my house and how Sara's room is decorated..." Arata laughed "Then we will come. Today we are out to choose our wedding rings. Christie comes later so you can ask her then. I think she will accept your invitation".

Kiyo was in the waiters room as he was tying the apron and looks up at Arata, laughing a little, "well that is good, your becoming very popular now." Kiyo turns around as he watches Xane cooking and laughs a little, nodding his head, "yeah, they acted all shocked. I guess they were expecting us to take the whole 10 minutes," he rubs the back of his head.

 

Kiyo looks at Sophie and then looks at Arata, crossing his arms, "uh oh sounds like someone is already missing Arata," he laughs a little. He nods his head, agreeing with Arata about visiting Sara while Christie was going to get decoration ideas.

 

Xane was busy in the kitchen cooking and finishes a couple of orders, ringing the bell for pick up and starts working on some more food dishes for the waiting customers.

Arata entered into the kitchen and took some orders "Boss can you do some pancakes for my little client? She's here as always. She brought me candies" he explained smiling to Sophie. "Arata you are popular with kids already" he nodded and leave the kitchen.

 

Sophie took a pan and started to prepare breakfast for costumers when she received a message "Tom is asking if its ok for him to buy a camera for Arata as wedding gift" she said to Xane as the boys weren't there.

Xane perks his head up as he looks at Arata as he puts the meals into the oven and nods his head, "sure that isn't to hard to do.. since I make breakfast for Christie and you two everyday," he laughs a little as he starts preparing some pancake batter. He watches Arata leave and starts working on the pancakes. Xane looks over at Sophie as he flips the pancakes and rubs his chin, "hm.. I am sure he would make good use out of it, I bet it will be filled with pictures of Kiyo," he laughs a little as he puts the pancakes on a plate. Xane starts stacking one pancake at a time until there was about five of them. He cuts some fruit into slices and places it all over the pancake stack, topping it off with some chocolate syrup and whipped cream, ringing the bell for Arata to get the pancake stack for his favorite customer.

 

Kiyo perks his head as he heard the bell go off and walks over to Arata, "I think the pancakes are done," he walks over to the cash register and waits, resting his chin on his palm with a yawn, rubbing his eyes. He perks his head up as newer customers were coming in and leads them to a table with the menus in hand, going back to the register to gather money from customers that have already eaten and ready to pay for their meals.

Sophie laughed "I think he will use it to take photos with kids as well, and with Christie when she will have huge belly. From what I saw, he loves to tease her" she sent a message to Tom before she went back cooking. "What should I cook for their lunch?" She asked Xane just when Arata came back to kitchen.

 

"I will like to try something new Sophie. I like pasta and pizza and of course fish. What about some Asian dishes?" He suggested taking the pancakes and sniffing them. "I will like one for myself boss, I know I ate this morning but it smells wonderful" he left the kitchen to serve his little client. Anya was surprised "For me? Thank you Arata. You are the best neko ever" she hugged him and Arata smiled going back to Kiyo. "Sophie will prepare for us Asian food. I hope will be yummy".

Xane shrugs his shoulders and laughs a little, "well.. I guess we will find out when he isn't using it.. in public," he rubs the back of his head. He looks at Sophie and shakes his head, "hm.. I am not sure, maybe they will be craving something else? Or maybe the usual, they are sometimes very unpredictable," he laughs softly as he saw Arata enter the kitchen. He looks at Arata and laughs a little, "maybe your little friend will share some with you, there is quite a bit there for a little girl," he starts making some more pancake batter with a sigh, looking at Sophie, "well.. I guess you have your idea what they want," he laughs softly as he starts making pancakes. He made a stack of five pancakes and puts the remaining fruit he cut before on the pancakes along with some whipped cream and chocolate syrup, chuckling a little, "I have to say.. if Arata was a paying customer, we would be getting so much money since he eats so much," he places the stack of pancakes to the side for Arata and takes the food dishes out of the oven, ringing the bell for any of the waiters to pick the dishes up.

 

Kiyo perks his head up as he watches Arata carrying a plate to Anya's table and smiles a little, walking back over to the table with the newest customers and gets their orders written down, walking into the kitchen to give Xane the orders and notices another stack of pancakes, tilting his head to the side and takes the dishes from the counter to serve the customers. Once done serving the waiting customers, he walks back to the cash register and looks at Arata, smiling, "I am sure it will be really good. There is another stack of pancakes in the kitchen Xane put to the side, I think they are for you."

 

Xane looks at the orders Kiyo brought in and starts working on cooking the food dishes.

Arata nodded "Then Im going to eat them. Do you want too? I did eat well in the morning but the pancakes are yummy. It reminds me when we live in campus and you spoiled me with them almost daily. Plus I did some myself once but they weren't as good as yours..." he stopped seeing Sophie was gazing at him. "Christie sends me a message you like omurice neko". Arata blinked "So she keeps you in touch with what I like. Omurice sounds good for our lunch and maybe some seafood too. I'm still trying to taste them all". Sophie giggled and served him the pancakes. "Eat well neko and hurry. Lots of orders to take". Arata perked up his ears seeing Andy was calling him to eat with her.

Kiyo laughs a little and shakes his head, "nah I am okay, I am still kind of full from breakfast," he rubs the back of his head and sticks his tongue out a little. He smiles and softly blushes, laughing softly, "I guess you are just mostly a eater and not a cooker, but I am sure Xane or even Sophie can teach you how to cook." He perks his head up as he looks at Sophie and stands in back of the cash register, "you go eat your pancakes with Anya, I will keep up with the orders with the other waiters," he smiles softly and keeps his eye on the entrance of the restaurant.

Arata joined Anya and her mother and started to eat. "I want to invite you to my birthday Arata. It will be next month" Anya said shyly looking to her mother. "She likes you and..."he mother started to say and Arata nodded "You can celebrate it here Anya. Sophie, the new cook, it's an expert on doing cakes for kids". Anya smiled and touched his ears. "I plan to wear a neko suit. Mom bought one for me". Arata kissed her. "Sound great Anya".

Kiyo looks over at Arata talking to Anya and her mom, smiling softly as he lets out a yawn and stretches his arms over his head before he leans forward, resting his elbows on the counter while resting his chin within his palms. He slowly perks himself up as he saw customers ready to pay for their finish meal. He takes their money and puts it into the register, giving them their change and watches them walk out of the restaurant. As Kiyo was closing the cash register, he saw some new customers coming into the restaurant and greets them as he grabs a few menus, leading them to a empty table and walks back to the register, waiting for the new customers to be ready to order.

 

As orders were starting to slow down a bit, Xane took the time to walk to the fridge and takes out a water bottle. Xane walks back to the ovens and leans on the counter while he was drinking his water as he was watching the food cook in the oven .

Arata finished his pancakes and kissed Anya “Time to go back to work. See you tomorrow ” he greeted Anya and her mother. He went to kitchen with the empty plate “They were delicious boss. Thank you” he looked on Sophie who was cooking for clients “Sophie…we have a client here called Anya. She’s 5 years old and comes daily with her mother to eat breakfast. Her birthday it’s in one month – can you bake a neko cake for her? It’s my idea for cake, not sure if you like it. Her mother will talk to you Xane about the party after your wedding, She invited me and Kiyo at her birthday. She will wear a neko suit…” Sophie nodded “Of course I can. Christie may help me. I’m doing more classic cakes. Christie do more modern ones ”.

Xane perks his head up and smiles, nodding his head, "I am never afraid of you not liking anything I make you Arata, you like pretty much everything I make you, I never ran into any issue of finding anything you don't like eating." He looks at Arata as he was asking Sophie to make a certain kind of order and laughs a little as he watches the food cook and the oven going off. He takes the food out of the oven and gives it to Arata on a platter, drinking some water.

 

Kiyo perks his head up slightly as he notices the newest customers closing their menus and putting them off to the side. He goes to claim their orders and walks back to the kitchen, giving both Sophie and Xane the orders. As he was going to walk out of the kitchen, a little baby was sitting by the door. Kiyo blinks a little and bends over, picking up the baby, "what are you doing away from your mama?" He looks around, seeing if he can find the baby's mom but had no luck, rubbing the back of his head with a smile, ~hm.. did he sneak away while his mom went to the bathroom or something,~ he thought as he walks to the front register, hoping the mom will soon come to get her baby if she was really in the bathroom.

Arata left the kitchen with a big smile on his face and went to serve the costumers. He then looked at Kiyo and was surprised to see him with a baby boy. “Who is this cutie Kiyo?” he asked his lover petting kids head. But the baby started to cry and Arata didn’t know what to do. “I think he wants back to his mother. Where is she?”

Kiyo rests his chin on his palm as he perks his head up as he saw Arata come over and rubs the baby boy's head. He shrugs his shoulders, "I am not sure, he was waiting by the door in front of the kitchen.. so I brought him up on the counter so he wouldn't get hurt." He listens to the baby boy crying and holds him in his arms, rubbing the back of his head to try to calm down the baby, "well.. I am hoping she went to the bathroom or something," he held onto the baby and keeps his eyes open for anyone looking for a baby.

 

Xane puts the food into the oven and perks his head up, hearing a soft sound since it was pretty noisy in the kitchen. Xane walks out of the kitchen to see what the sound was and notices a baby, walking to the register, "hey a baby. Where is his mom," he places his hands on the side, slightly rubbing his hands on his apron.

"We don't know boss. Kiyo found him here and he keeps crying. Maybe he's hungry or something". Sophie heard the sounds too and ran to see what's wrong "Oh, it's a baby. He's around 9 months old from what I see. And he's crying as he's wet" she explained as she quickly inspected the baby. "Here Arata" she gave him some keys "Go into my car and you will find a bag on backseat. Bring it here. I have baby things on it since Sara still needs them". Arata nodded and hurried outside looking around for baby's mother as well.

Kiyo perks his head up as he looks over to see Sophie coming out as he held onto the baby as he was crying. He watches Arata head outside and looks at the baby, rubbing his head and places the baby's head to his chest. At the sound of hearing Kiyo's heart beating, the baby starts to slowly stop crying but was still wet in the diaper.

 

Xane watches Arata and kept his eye on the baby since he would need to get use to the idea of being around a baby since Christie was pregnant and he knew the food still had to cook. The restaurant was starting to slow down at this time of day so it made a good time for Xane to have his break at least until the food was done cooking.

Arata opened Sophie’s car and found the bag she asked for. He grabbed the bag and looked around. There were only few clients of the restaurant smoking outside but all were men. He hurried back inside and gave Sophie the bag. “Ok you two, let’s go to waiters room, I will show you two how to change a baby”. Arata nodded and wondered where was the baby’s mother. Their female waiter checked into the bathroom and said nobody was there. “Do you think his mom forget him here or she abandoned him?” he asked Kiyo who was still holding the baby as they headed to waiters room.

Kiyo watches Arata from the outside and looks down at the baby since he seemed to stop crying and rubs his head slowly with a soft smile. He watches Arata come back with the baby supplies and looks at Sophie, nodding his head. Kiyo looks at Arata and shakes his head, "I don't really think so, the dad is probably working while the mom.. hm.. maybe she went to go get something and asked one of the waiters or waitress to look after him until she got back," he follows Sophie while walking to the waiters room with Arata.

 

As Xane was about to go back to the kitchen, he saw a note on the front desk to one of the other waiters:

 

"Thank you so much for looking after my baby boy while I pick up my daughter from elementary school. I will be back as soon as I can."

 

Xane puts the note in his pocket and walks to the kitchen, walking up to Sophie and goes into his pocket, showing Sophie the note.

Arata smiled as Sophie read loud the note “So his mother will come after him, he’s so cute” he purred near the baby who smiled back to him “He seems to like you Arata. Kids like you easily” Sophie said as she finished to change the baby. She gave him to throw the dirty diapar. He throw it to the bin and come back to Sophie. “Time to go back cooking boys, your lunch will be ready soon. Please look after the baby until the mother is back. Kiyo, he seems to like being into your arms so please do so, if he cries the customers will be disturbed”. Arata giggled “She’s bossy Kiyo. No wonder she’s Christie’s friend”.

Kiyo looks at Sophie as she read the note and looks at Arata with a smile, "she sounds like a very busy mom, having two kids must be pretty hard," he rubs the back of his head. He looks at the baby boy as he was looking at Arata and smiles a little, watching Arata throw away the diaper. Kiyo nods his head as he looks at the clock, seeing it was getting close to lunch time, which is when the restaurant usually got pretty busy. Kiyo blinks as he looks at Sophie and tilts his head, "but .. how am I suppose to hold him and take orders and serve the customers," he tilts his head to the side and blinks as he watches the baby boy pat at his chest, "uhhhh I think he is getting hungry."

 

Xane looks at Kiyo as he takes the food out of the oven and laughs a little, "well Kiyo, feed him," he places the food on the table.

 

Kiyo blushes and pouts a little, "I don't have what he is after though," he grumbles and then walks to the sink, washing off his hand so it was clean. He looks at the baby and places his finger near the baby's mouth, watching the baby take his finger into his mouth and starts sucking on it, making him shiver.

 

Xane laughs a little and then gives Arata a couple of the orders as well as a couple of the other waiters since Kiyo was busy entertaining the baby.

Arata laughed "Boss, Kiyo looks like a real mother but he has no boobs to feed him" he left then to serve the costumers. Sophie giggled and went to the fridge getting out some milk. The female waiter entered into the kitchen with a bag. "I think this belong to the baby" Sophie smiled and opened the bag. "Great boys, you didn't see the baby had everything he needed here. I'm getting his milk ready so you can feed him Kiyo. And will be better to show Arata too, you two need to learn".

Xane looks at Arata and laughs a little, "I think I would know that since I spend 18 years with him," he watches Arata leave to serve the customers. He looks up as the female waiter comes back with a bag, rubbing the back of his head, "well, it must have been with the note, behind the cash register or something."

 

Kiyo looks at Sophie and slowly tilts his head to the side before nodding his head, "alright I suppose that is true since Christie will probably ask for our help as well when she needs it," he looks down at the baby as he was sucking on his finger and rubs the baby's head with his other hand, "I think he is starting.. to get more hungry. He is starting to suck and nibble on my finger. I don't want him to get frustrated, he might start crying again since he is probably trying to get something to eat."

Arata came back to give Xane more orders and smiled to the baby "He's hungry for sure Kiyo but he seems happier now that he isn't wet anymore. Sara didn't like it for sure". Sophie pocked his tail "Here is the milk. Good luck in feeding him boys". Arata looked on the bottle and laughed "That's a fake boob Kiyo. So we can feed Christie's son too? I thought they drink milk from mother's breast. Sara drank it from a cup". Sophie giggled "Sara is too big for bottle now Arata. I feed her by breast for almost a year".
