David closed his eyes, forcing what would be a loud groan back to the pits of his soul. Vincent really couldn't give him a break, sometimes. To be honest, David really liked his job. He loved crunching numbers, he loved going to classical concerts and events, he got to travel time to time, he liked discussing business and meeting people, he loved the feeling of securing an opportunity. And it paid very well!

His only complaint were the sporadic hours, which he didn't mind too terribly, and having the manage Vincent. He didn't even mind that. Sure, the young man seemed to actively try to make his work difficult, but he was also why David had so many opportunities to do what he liked. Even if it was a hassle, it often pushed just how far he was able to work around Vincent's less-than-active tendencies, and how to act on his toes. Especially when Vincent pulled last-minute things like this.

"Yes, very smart, very clever." He murmured, leaning back in the chair, a bit more relaxed.

David, then just shrugged, when the young master forcefully declared that he would not be doing arguably the most productive method of writing a song as soon as possible.

"Fine, then. Of course, you won't. Heaven forbid you take someone's suggestion." David replied with a tired, defeated voice.

"Yes, I don't see the Association having any problems. They've been putting together this events for years, they know how to arrange a concert. If they start promoting as soon as possible, which might be their biggest issue concerning time, it should be acceptable." David nodded. As much as he complained about Vincent, and as much as he literally avoided contact with his manager- David knew Vincent was reliable. He'd pull together something.

"August 15th… I hate to sound like a college professor, but you can't put this off until the night before, Vincent. You'll need to start working the minute I leave."

Vincent continued to discuss about the deadline with the other. He just decided to pick a date - logically, too - simply to get it over with. He knew if he didn't pick one, David would pick one for him, and he would dislike it even more. He also knew if he picked any date at random, or too far away, David would refuse and make him pick another date until it was one David was satisfied with and thought the association would like as well. Vin knew all these games already, and sometimes, he wasn't in the mood to play them. So he made it quick, so that the quicker he chose a deadline, the quicker David left and got out of his hair for another day or two.

So when David seemed to agree on the deadline, though with a seemingly uncertain and worried look still about his face of the short time for Vincent to finish, Vin felt a smug smirk crossing his features as he looked at the other "See? All settled then. You have your date to give to the association" he said as he leaned back again comfortably in his chair.

"Was that all, then, David?" he asked as he looked to him with a slightly tilted head, hoping he didn't spring something else on him now and more work. "After all, if I want to finish that piece in quick enough time, i really should start the second you leave" he repeated the others words with a smirk "And the sooner you leave, the sooner I can start" he spoke, though of course had no intentions of going back to work just yet. He would tonight, but he wasn't in the mood at the moment.

A month…. David believed Vincent could do it, if he worked very hard. While it was something he hated, he could be very efficient when he did so, so long as he felt it was urgent enough. And David was determined to let Vincent know just how urgent this situation was.

"Alright then. It's settled." David said. "August 15th. A month." He repeated, giving Vincent a stern look so he knew how little time that really was. "I will call them and let them know immediately." He added, sitting up straight, unaware he was slumping from the exhausting effort it took to deal with Vincent.

"No, no, that's all." David stood up. Vincent was not very subtle about hints, but David knew he never really wanted him there anyway. Despite how well they got along, hell, they've formed somewhat of a symbiotic relationship at this point, Vincent was always pleased when business was over and David was leaving.

"I will leave you to your work, then, "creative genius"." David replied. "You'll need every minute."

Simon, sitting very quietly, was getting quite a kick at watching how the two interacted with each other. But the idea of writing a whole song from scratch, in what Simon assumed was a very small amount of time to do it, was still very daunting. He'd have to do his best to make sure Vincent had the best possible attendance during this time, so he could work without worry of anything else.

Vincent nodded a bit as he listened to the other "It'll be done, I promise" he said as he shifted his position to sit up a bit more as well, looking to the other as he spoke and finished, saying how he'd leave and again reminding him how urgent it was he finished his music on time and everything "I will" he again repeated as he stood up to see the other out. He walked along beside him as they headed to the door, nodding to David "Alright, I will see you later, then" he said, letting the other leave and head out.

When David had finally gone and left, Vincent let out a heavy sigh of relief when the man finally left and ran a hand through his hair again "Uhg...I think I have a headache..." He mumbled as he rubbed his head, closing his eyes as he walked back inside "Marian!" he called as he headed towards the kitchen, seeing her quickly come out when upon hearing her name.

"Yes, master?" she asked, seeing his rubbing his temples "I need tea" he muttered as he grabbed a seat at the table "...and a nap" he muttered the last half to himself mostly. He clearly didn't have the intention of starting back on his music just yet. He wasn't really going to take a nap again, even he had his limits on the amount he slept per day. "Of course, right away sir" she said as she left the room to get him some tea.

"Alright, have a goodnight. Don't work yourself too hard." David told him, partially in a teasing way. However, Vincent really could work really hard when pressed, and he didn't want him to do anything unhealthy. While David hadn't seen Vincent do something particularly risky since knowing him, he was always concerned something may happen, considering how frequently Vincent had to work with tight deadlines.

"Simon, please call me tomorrow night so I can get your contact information." He said before he left. "Take care,"

"Yes, sir. I will do that." Simon replied. "You take care, too."

Once David left, Simon saw that Vincent was quite distraught.

"Is there something I can help with?" He asked, though he had just called for Marian, who, ever so dutifully, came out to hear his request. Simon wondered if it was the meeting that wired him up, or if the deadline was that difficult, it was stressful to think about.

Vincent nodded to the other "Never" he smirked teasing back at the others own teasing to him. He smiled a bit, waving with a nod to the male as he left and he had headed back inside, shutting the door to where he proceeded to call for Marian and demanded tea. He sat down at the table, sighing as he rested his head in his hand, rubbing his head lightly.

Hearing Simon, he glanced over to him when he asked if there was anything he could do. He sighed heavily, shaking his head "No no, today you're still off. You needn't worry about anything just yet" he said as he ran a hand through his hair again for the seventh time in the past half hour. "You'll be working hard soon" he said with a smirk towards the other "So don't worry about it for now" He assured the other before Marian soon arrived with his tea.

"Ah, Marian good good. Thanks" he said as she smiled to him "Of course sir. Here's your tea, earl gray, today" she said as she poured it for him in the cup. He gratefully took it, picking it up and blowing it lightly to cool it off. He sipped it, closing his eyes as he let out a heavy sigh of relief, relaxing lightly as the tea calmed his nerves and stress.

"Alright, then…" Simon nodded in understanding. "Let me know if you'd like me to start early." He offered again. "I really don't mind it at all. I don't mind putting in the extra effort since you're willing to work so hard, Master Klaus."

He excused himself, and went back upstairs. He still need to take his new folder Marian gave him into his room.

Simon returned upstairs, opened his laptop again, and pulled out the contact sheet, wanting to put the email addresses into his own email. One of his brothers had already emailed him back. He was tempted to read it, but business first. There were quite a few people on the list, with a small line about who they were- with the exception of David. He smiled, Marian clearly thought that David could speak for himself.

Once he put in all the contacts, he opened the email. His brother, always the sweet heart, had wrote a very long congratulations message back, and Simon wrote a response, which didn't match the length, but he hoped it got his point across. He then remembered what he told David, and also wrote him a message to introduce himself(copy-pasting some of his introduction from his forum profile shh) and ask for certain information.

After that, he opened google and searched for "Vincent Klaus Pianist"...

Vincent just nodded his head "I would let you know, but it really won't be necessary" he said as he let the other go off back to his room to relax and everything. Vincent himself sat at the table as he sipped his tea, closing his eyes and letting out a soft sigh as the tea slowly started to calm his headache that had been growing ever since David had arrived.

Thousands of search results had appeared after Simon's search of the male. Various links about awards he'd received, for various things, all related to his music, of course. Whether rewards for it being best music played in a movie of a year, or most sold out concerts, etc, etc. It was all brilliantly positive facts about the male, a few of his more popularly known songs mentioned frequently. There were also various fan based blogs of him, biographies, all the sorts.

A few hours later, after Vincent had finished his tea and tended to returning some phone calls, he headed up to the third floor. He slipped inside his private piano room on that third floor, the one he didn't like others to be in, and he grabbed some music sheets, ones with music written on them, and blank music sheets as well. He supposed he should give some more effort in, he really had been trying, of course. Though he was indeed halfway through with it, contrary to what he had made David believe.

Staring at the sheets, he sighed, closing his eyes and first playing some old songs of his, to warm up and get into the rhythm of his music and everything. As he played, a very deep and thoughtful expression overtook his face, though a pleasant one, while also being serious at the same time.

One of his songs he's playing.

Simon was surprised by the amount of results he got. Pages upon pages of links and sources turned up, the top row had pictures of him dressed nicely, often by a piano, one of him accepting some sort of award.

'I had no idea I was working for someone so famous!' Simon thought, in absolute awe. He felt rather bad for not doing this search before hand- and educate himself a bit more about his master and this busy, musical lifestyle. He clicked on the link after the wikipedia article- and it was an online news article about something that happened barely a year before. A charity he performed at received record-breaking donations, in both donators and money.

Another link was about the pianist performing with a world-reknown orchestra, made up of accomplished musicians around the world. He found one blog about modern celebrity pianists, which had a page dedicated to posts about Vincent. It listed his awards, links to a handful of interviews he had given, videos of his playing- which Simon reminded himself to watch later- and synopsis of articles. One of the blog-runners had seen him perform in person and wrote a very excited post about the experience. Apparently, he was just as good live sitting rows and rows behind.

Simon started listening to one of the videos, getting a chuckle out of how messy his new master's hair was even when performing on a grand stage. It was a very upbeat, quickly-paced song, but the best part was when the camera changed to a close-up of his face. He was so enthralled, absorbed into the song, devotedly playing music… you could see it on his face. His determined, fiery eyes bore through the sheet music, and his shoulders never stopped moving for a minute as his hands ran over the keys with a light-hearted discipline. It was mesmerizing.

Thought, as the video ended, Simon thought it was still playing. He muted his laptop, to see if it was a sound problem, but the music continued. Although, it was muffled, and faint. Was it just stuck in his head, in the way where it sounds far-off? He stood up, and looked up at the ceiling, and realized that Master Klaus was playing right in that instance!

'He must be working upstairs already,' Simon thought, with a smile. He wondered if he wore the same expression.

Vincent closed his eyes as he played, a light smile on his face as he was drawn out of the music room, into a world that was just full of notes all around him, different chords and melodies played out before him. When he played, he really was in a different world. The song lasted for about seven minutes, As Vincent played some of the chorus over a few times extra.

When he finished playing, he paused for only a few seconds or so, before he continued onto another old piece of his. It was similar in style to the previous, but a bit faster, a different tempo than the one before. He continued to play for a while, before sighing and opening his eyes. He looked back to the music sheets half written on and scribbled before him.

He stared at the notes in his head for a few minutes, the music playing over in his head automatically with each note his eyes flawlessly scanned over. And before long, at some point the music playing in his head transferred to his fingers through the piano. He was playing the music he had written, his face not as peaceful as before. He was struggling with continuing it, and sighed, stopping as he came to the end of where the notes finished on the page. He didn't know what to put after. And though the notes and chords were complex, he wasn't worried about that part. He simply wanted to finish the song. This was always his most stressful part of his job, was writing up songs - because the fact he was such a perfectionist in them.

Simon went back to the computer, and saw that he received an email from David already, as well another reply from his brother, the same one as before. David had a rather formal email written out, with a few documents attached, for being schedules, frequent and recent clients of Vincent's, and other useful information. He really had a lot to learn, and fast, living here as a butler.

'I wonder how long Marian's been working here?' He wondered, as she had everything under such tight control, and she looked pretty young, so she couldn't have been working for a great many years, he imagined.

The song was either very long, or Vincent had started playing it again. Though, after listening more carefully, Simon realized that it was an entirely different song! He shook his head at himself sheepishly. He also needed to educate himself in music more.

Sighing, he leaned back in his chair, staring at his computer screen. He wouldn't even know how to start researching. He didn't want to learn to play, per say, but to appreciate. Simon stretched his arms over his head. Maybe looking more into Vincent's fan-blogs will teach him a thing or two. Nothing like enthusiastic young fans to express a fresh new perspective, after all.

Vincent was up in the music room for hours on end, for the entire rest of the afternoon. He continued to practice, and managed to get a little bit more of his music written. But even though he was making progress, even when he finished it, writing music was like writing essays or books. There were writers blocks, as he had now. Then there was a first draft when first finished. And it was always edited and changed a bit in minor ways after that. Though it seemed he may have been making good progress, he still had a lot of work to do.

Come dinner time, Vincent was still up in the room, sighing as he worked and ran a hand through his messy hair. Marian ended up coming when he hadn't come down at the hour of dinner, knowing he'd probably gotten caught up in work as he usually did. As she was heading up to the third floor, she stopped by the second, and decided she'd ask Simon to see if he wanted to go get the master for dinner.

Arriving at Simons door, she knocked on it, and politely waited for him to answer "It's just me, Marian. Are you in there, Simon?" she asked, before he answered the door and she smiled politely to him "Hi Simon. I was wondering if you would mind getting the master for dinner when he is done with his work? I'm sure he told you he doesn't like to be bothered in that room....just if you're going to be here on the second floor, if you wouldn't mind keeping an ear out to see when he might leave the music room, so you can make sure he eats?" she asked "I'm sorry to ask you on your day off, If you'd rather not it's completely understandable" she said with a smile.

Simon closed his laptop- getting lost browsing one topic or another- when he heard a knock at his door. He was sure the young master was still in his study, so he assumed it was Marian. And he was right.

"Just a minute," He said, standing up and straightening his vest, before opening the door of his room to see the youthful head maid.

"Ah, yes. I will gladly do that," He told her, retuning a fresh-faced smile. Marian was such a hard worker, he was very glad that he was hired to help her. It seemed like a lot for her to stay on top of- not that she didn't do so beautifully, of course.

"You don't have to worry at all." He replied. "I am more than happy to lend a hand. I'll be sure to pound him the moment he steps out of that music room." He promised with a playful grin.

"Thank you, Simon." Marian said. "He can be a bit… sporadic… when he decides to take a break from work, so I need you to be on your toes when he does."

"Yes, of course, Marian." Simon nodded. "You can trust me."

She gave him a warm smile. "Yes, I know I can. Now, excuse me, but I need to return downstairs."

"Very well, I will see you later, Marian."

Marian nodded, and walked back down the hallway, towards the staircase. Simon smiled, and sat back down at his desk. He reminded himself not to let himself get distracted by the internet, as he had to pay attention for his new master's break. Though he sighed, feeling unchaste and foolish… his new master had been on his mind for most of this time, but not in the way a butler should think of his master.

'I wish I was hired by another old, plain fellow,' Simon thought to himself… but that was a lie. He was incredibly thankful to meet someone like Vincent Klaus.

Vincent had completely lost track of time and he had gotten lost up in his homework in his music room, by his piano. He had been playing for hours now, all of what just felt like minutes to Vincent. Whenever he played, time always seemed to never stop, speeding up faster with the tempo of his playing. And whenever he looked at the clock afterwards, it never failed to surprise him just how late it would get.

By now, it was eight in the evening and Vincent had yet to leave and room and go eat. This would often happen to him, where he would forget his necessities that he needed, and his own health even, when he concerned eating, and even sleep - much to manes surprised. The reason he always slept so much during the day was because of the fact he was always up for hours working on his music.

Finally, Vincent had decided to give the music a break, and stood up from the cushioned piano seat. Because of the countless hours he would spend on that seat, he'd medically needed to have it well cushioned and supported to him because he'd otherwise get back problems. It had started before, but he got the seat fixed and everything - mostly by Marian's pleading of it for his health.

Leaving the piano room and leaving silence to fill the building, he headed to his bedroom - still tired and stressed to think about eating. Dinner had completely skipped his mind. Heading into his bedroom, he went into the large connected bathroom. Setting up a steaming hot bath, he stripped of his clothes and sunk into it, groaning slightly at the comfort it brought his stiff body and muscles.

Simon was very concerned now for Vincent. It had gotten later and later, and still no lull in the music. Was this what it was going to take to get the piece done in a month? Simon bit the side of his thumb- a bad habit he picked up when he tried to prevent himself from biting his nails when he was younger- and his eyebrows tucked inwards. This couldn't be healthy… He'd have to be extra careful when attending the young master now.

Some odd hours later, the music did finally stop. It was such a difference from the typical playing, it was very noticeable. There was no way Simon would not notice it stopping, a large concern of his. He waited a few minutes to make sure it wasn't just a long break, and decided that he was more than likely done, and left his room to head upstairs.

He saw the door to the music room was open- a good sign, and figured Vincent most likely went back to his own room, so he checked there first. They were also open, but he heard the faint running water from inside.

'His private bathroom…' Simon inwardly decided, stepping in, and he rapped his knuckles against the broad door.

"Master Vincent?" He called in, hoping to be loud enough to be heard over the water.

Vincent slipped into the steaming hot bath, and instantly felt his muscles relax. His stiff shoulders from sitting upright for so long, his cramped long and skilled fingers. He soaked them in the heat of the water, rubbing out the muscles in his hands. It felt nice to relax in the bath. He wasn't even concerned in himself for how long he had locked himself away in the music room. It was quite and often thing for him to do, to keep himself up there for hours on end.

Closing his eyes, he sunk lower into the large bath, his long hair soaking in the water as he tilted his head back, eyes closed still as he just reveled in the occasional sound of splashing water against the sides of the bath. He was enjoying himself greatly, even now still thinking about his music composition. He had gotten a bit further, though, wasn't sure he was completely satisfied on it. He just tried reminding himself that he had yet to finish the thing as a whole yet. He would try to finish it first, make it complete, then edit it as he pleased, even if it made it an almost entirely different song.

Hearing a knocking echoe in the steam-filled room from the wooden door, his eyes snapped open, pulling him from his thoughts full of music notes. He glanced to the door across the room "Come in" he called the male, recognizing Simon's voice. It was easy, even if the male was new. After all, there was only one other male working for him at the moment, so, the other male voice must belong to Simon's. And he was already easily growing used to the voice and getting familiar with it. When the other had entered, he looked to him, seeing he seemed to be worried about something "What is it?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, humbly and cluelessly having no idea it had anything to do with him.

The room smelled nice. The room felt nice, too. It had a really cozy, comforting aura about it that Simon couldn't quite place. He could see why Vincent would want to sleep away all the time here. He looked around the room, taking in the common environment of the young master, of how he chose to surround himself, before Vincent answered him.

Simon walked in when Vincent asked him to, surprised to see him already relaxing in the tub. His cheeks felt warm at such a tantalizing yet completely innocent sight. Vincent's shoulder peering out from the water, the ends of Vincent's hair soaked and darkened, the red to his skin from the warmth of the bath water, it was all a lot of handle when that was what Simon wanted to avoid handling.

"Ah, sorry…" Simon cleared his voice. "I am sorry to disturb you now, but Marian asked me, once you had finished in your music room, naturally, that I remind you about dinner. You've been working very hard and it's important not to neglect your health." Simon told him.

"So we would like you to come down and eat once you are finished in the bath."

Vincent's room was decorated in a similar style to that of the rest of the house, yet completely different in a way as well. Though the architecture and style was the same, the room itself was far more personalized than, speaking to the true child and simple side of Vincent. His room could easily be a mess at times, though it currently wasn't, and there were stuffed animals all over the place. Everywhere. Quiet a few clouding his bed for him to snuggle beneath at night as well.

As he had told the male to come in, Vincent glanced up to the tall dark haired male. He shifted a bit, pushing himself up against the side so he wasn't as sunken into the water, and about halfway from his torso up was now shown above the surface of the hot steamy water, his hairless chest soaked and dripping, as was his arms, from recently surfacing above the water.

"Ah, food?" he inquired blinking a bit "Hmm, I'd completely forgotten..." he trailed off, sighing as he sunk low again, completely submerging himself beneath the water to get his hair soaked. He surfaced back up, pushing stray strands of wet hair away from sticking to his face. "I'd like it delivered to my room" he said as he comfortably leaned back against the wall of the tub as he was before "Do you perhaps know what is for dinner? You must have eaten by now, surely" he commented.

Simon: "I don't know why, but this room is comforting to me" *surrounded by dozens of plush animals* XD Oops

Simon took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down as the young man slid back into the water. He was so ashamed of himself. It was entirely unprofessional to think or feel romantically or sexually towards his employer- especially in a live-in position. His master even trusted him to come into the bathroom while he was in the bath, and he was suppressing unclean thoughts!

The butler always told himself that if he ever started developing feelings like this for anyone he worked with (he never thought he'd feel this way about his master, though!) that he would find a job elsewhere, and quit, in order to maintain a professional atmosphere. But until now, the thought never crossed his mind that he should leave. He didn't want to. He wanted to stay here.

'I'm only going to cause trouble again…' Simon warned himself.

"Forgotten about food?" Simon's eyes widened, remembering that his main concern was Vincent. He must have been really absorbed in his work. "Aren't you hungry, Master Klaus?"

"Yes, that can be arranged." Simon replied, assuring him he would have his food in here. "And I haven't the slightest. I wasn't very hungry when the others were eating, and since I knew a second dinner would be prepared for you, I figured I wouldn't be imposing too much if I just ate when you had your dinner as well." Simon explained.

Vincent ran a hand through his wet hair, shivering as a cold breeze entered the steamy hot room from his bedroom. He sunk into the water more as the shiver ran through him, and he figured he should probably get out soon. He was completely unaware of his new butlers thoughts towards him. Though, Vincent would by lying if he were to say he hadn't found Simon attractive in the least. Quite the contrary. But Vincent did well to conceal his emotions and not let them show.

"Hmm, yeah" he said with a shrug of his shoulders, clearly not bothered by the others concern for his lack of care for his own health when it came to food. It was an often thing, that Vincent would forget to eat. Mostly for these exact reasons, getting caught up in sleep and everything. "I suppose I am a bit, now that I think about it" he commented idly, though was curious when the other said he hadn't eaten yet either.

"You haven't? In that case, I will eat with you. Company is always nice when eating, don't you think?" he said. He liked this; this way, he got an excuse to eat with someone. Despite all his servants and him being on friendly good terms, they all refused to eat with him, out of a proper respect sort of thing. But honestly, Vincent got quite lonely eating alone. Perhaps thats why he easily disregarded meals often of the time "You can't refuse, as you haven't eaten yet either now" he said childishly, glad he could eat with company for once "I'll join you downstairs in the dining hall. I just need to get dressed" he said, that being his cue for the other to leave so Vincent could get out himself.

Simon brushed a strand of hair from between his eyes, watching the cool and collected musician in the tub. Even completely nude, sitting in water, he carried an air of elegance as when he was standing tall and fully clothed. Was he really so calm, or was he really so tired from working that he didn't really mind. He also hadn't eaten…

Still, it was a bit troubling that going so long without food wasn't something Vincent seemed to give much attention to. The list of things Simon would have to pay special attention to or take care of was growing longer.

"Very good, I- You… will eat with me?" Simon was taken back a bit. The master of this fine house hold, the renown and respected pianist with technique and spirit, had offered to eat with him, the butler who hadn't even begun to work yet. A smile slowly spread on his face. That was certainly unexpected.

"Yes… of course." Simon nodded, grinning warmly at the young master's insistence. "I do agree, after all, that company is very nice." He hadn't had the chance to eat dinner with another person since his last position.

"Right, very good. I will let everyone know." Simon said, excusing himself, and closing the door behind him.

'There are really a lot of stuffed toys here for a grown adult...'

Vincent smiled a bit when the other seemed to give in and agree to eating with him. That pleased him, and he relaxed a bit more. If the other had refused, he probably would have been greatly upset. He could be quite childish at times, and so, would have probably refused to eat anything at all if he were to have to eat alone. But, he wouldn't have to do that, it seemed.

As the other had excused himself and left the room, Vincent shifted and got up from the bath, water dripping down from him as he stretched and cracked his muscles once more, sighing in relief as he earned a satisfying popping sound coming from his shoulders. He rolled them a couple times, before getting a towel and drying himself off for the most part. He wrapped the towel around his waist, walking into his bedroom as the other had left it.

He changed into some casual clothes. Some simple but nice sweat pants, and a long sleeve shirt to wear at the table. Though, In reality he'd probably sleep in something more casual when he really went to bed. He took two seconds to towel dry his long hair, though it was still very damp, he continued on down to the dining hall, where he was really quite starving by now.

"Is this really all okay?" Simon asked, eyes wide, when Thomas explained to him was he had prepared and what more he intended to do for Master Klaus and Simon.

"More than fine!" Thomas smiled broadly, though he was already at work on the stove, so his smile was directed to a pan of sautéing vegetables, since there were none from the earlier meal shared by the other servants. "Normally Master Klaus eats alone, so I often don't make a lot of this for dinner unless there are guests. Even then, if there is one, it is usually that manager fellow."

"Oh, he stays for dinner often, then?" Simon inquired, watching in awe how quickly the man worked.

"As often as there are deadlines." Thomas replied with a chortle. "Sometimes work gets so intense, the man won't leave Vincent's side until it's done. That's when having two pianos comes in use."

Simon laughed with the man. Their relationship was really an interesting one. But Simon also couldn't help but be a bit jealous, though he knew it was only reasonable not to have a strong connection with the young master yet.

"I will let Master Klaus know dinner will be ready soon, then." Simon said, excusing himself. As he was leaving the dining hall, he saw Vincent, now clothed in very simple attire, was walking towards him.

"Master Klaus! I was speaking with Thomas, and he has to prepare a few things, but they will be ready shortly." Simon notified him, approaching.

((I'm so sorry it took me so long :( ))

Vincent headed down to the first floor, starving, and hoping the food was ready, or at least would be very soon. He wondered was the cook was making tonight. Perhaps the same as he had for there servants' dinner that night? Or something else? He knew Thomas loved to cook, so he wouldn't be surprised if he was making up a whole big new and fresh meal. Honestly, he hoped it was a lot. Vincent felt he could eat an entire cow at the moment. Food sounded so good right now. He stomach grumbled in agreement with him on that thought too.

As the master of the household was heading down the many steps, his thoughts drifted to his newest servant, his new butler, Simon. So far, he liked the male. He hadn't done or said anything to upset him yet. Though, then again, Vincent wasn't an incredibly hard man to please. He wasn't picky about many things, and he was very laid back in many ways. The man was respectful, taking his job seriously even though he technically wasn't on the clock yet, so to speak. He was also very pleasing to the eye as well, Vincent would admit.

He had sleek raven black hair that was somewhat long - not too long, and not cropped short either. The hair itself contrasted beautifully with the males bright, sky blue eyes as well, blending with his slightly paler complexion. Not to mention he was tall. It was hard for Vincent to find many people taller than himself, and it was a nice change. It wasn't that Vincent disliked being tall, he enjoyed it. But it was nice to have someone as tall as him - if not a little taller. And Simon had a nice slim body for his height as well...he wondered how well it looked beneath his professional clothes he wore.

His thoughts were soon interrupted by none other than Simon himself. He blinked a bit, looking up at the male and staring at him for a moment before giving a slight nod to his head "Right, thank you, Simon" he spoke as he finished going down the rest of the stairs. Vincent glanced at Simon, discreetly gazing over his body in curiosity. He glanced back to his face, gazing at the male through his glasses - of which he recently put on. He hadn't been wearing them all day, but at night to relax he now wore them. He mostly only needed them for near sighted tasks - such as when writing new music, as he was in his piano room earlier, though, since that room is private, no one could see the glasses on him. Of course his servants were aware of them and had seen him wear them various times before.
