I can't remember two mangas... please help.

I have been searching for two mangas for several weeks now. I admit defeat and beg for help.

 

The first one is about a student who attends a private high school on a baseball scholarship. He is horribly bullied by one of the other players (perhaps the captain?) whose dad (a politician) forces him to play baseball, even though he doesn't want to. One day, when the scholarship student was up to bat at practice, the captain walks into the swing and loses sight in one eye. He also accuses the scholarship student of hitting him purposefully, and blackmails him for sex and demeaning favors. Despite this, the scholarship student falls in love with the captain, he succeeds in baseball and becomes pro after high school. In the mean time, the former captain disappears, and he moves to New York after his dad is exposed for corruption. The now pro calls out to him during an interview, because he's been searching for years. They reunite and begin a healthy love (ish).

 

The second manga is a series of oneshots, I believe. The one story that I'm looking for in particular has a scraggly-looking single father. His daughter (in high school) decides that her father needs to go out on dates and try to get married again, so she takes him to an excellent stylist for a makeover. The father (tall and very muscular) cleans up very well, and he starts visiting the stylist regularly. Before a promising date, the father comes in for help, and leaves, but returns because he and the stylist can't stop thinking about each other. They begin to date and the daughter approves. There is a second part to the story where the stylist becomes very busy, and the father gets sick. The stylist calls his step-daughter(?) and she says that her dad is faking it, and sometimes he does that to get attention. It's really cute, but the father is almost bara-looking in his size and proportions. I can't recall any of the other stories, otherwise I would have looked for those. D'oh >.<.>

 

Please help, I'm seriously going mad about this!

I'm not much of a fan of sports yaoi but try Perfect xxx, mienai Hoshi and Double call. I have'nt read those baseball yaoi yet. But I red some like Bukiyou no Silent, Nidome no Koi and Bokurani Matsuwaru etc, it's not what you're looking for though they're baseball sports story. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I'll try looking it up some more.

but i don't have it under file and it's not ringing any bells for me.
