Bio/Personality: Kenichi is a rich high school student with a slight attitude but is still liked by other students. He likes working with animals in his free time at his father's pet store. When in school on his free periods, Kenichi spends his time in the library. Kenichi doesn't spend a lot of time outside only in the winter he likes going outside with the lack of bugs. He likes to spend his weekend time with friends.

Bio/Personality:Ryu is a normal student. Actually, the only thing that makes him different from others is his hobby of his. He likes to learn about new things, then later try them out. Ryu is someone who would always be alone and he prefered it that way. The only person that he actually let approach him is his best friend, Kenichi. The library is Ryu's favorite spot since he can learn new things, by himself, while listening to music.

Kenichi was already in school, sitting in the library and reading a book, listening to some music on his Ipod. He taps his fingers quietly on the table and looks at the clock to make sure he wasn't going to be late to class, again. Kenichi lets out a yawn and closes the book, checking his bag to make sure he did his homework and closes his bag. He opens his book once again to continue reading.

Ryu was looking for books while listening to some music. He looked at many before actually making a choice. Seeing that his best friend was sitting there, Ryu join and sit beside him. Opening his new book, he starts reading already thinking about what he would learn from this book. Ryu didn't bother looking at the hour, he knew he wouldn't be late since Kenichi would tell him when it was the time. He trusted him more than anyone. Taking a peek at what his friend was actually reading, he notices him looking at his homeworks. Snap, he forgot them. Ryu did like learning but homeworks didn't help him a bit in learning new stuffs. He sighed thinking about how he would get either yelled at or get in even worse troubles.

Kenichi lets out a yawn and rests his head on the table while still reading. He moves the book to the side a little, seeing his friend Ryu sit down next to him. Kenichi closes his eyes for a few moments as the book falls on the floor, turning his head to the other side and lets his hands hang by his sides. After a few minutes, he wakes up and looks at Ryu while he was looking at him, tilting his head with a pout, "did you forget to do your homework again," he puts his hands to his side with a sigh.

Ryu went back to read but often looked at his friend. Looking at him, anyone could tell he wanted something from Kenichi. It was obvious. He didn't react when his bestfriend decided to rest, he would often do that. Though, Ryu couldn't understand how someone could be comfortable on tables. When the other finally looked back at him, Ryu let a huge sigh. ''Yea, I forgot again..''

Kenichi sighs and shakes his head, leaning slightly forward to get his bag. "How come you like to learn.. but you don't do your homework?" He takes out his homework and puts it in front of Ryu, "remember.. make it slightly different wording and the teacher won't be able to tell if you copied." He rests his head on his chin and stretches out his legs, getting pretty stiff from just sitting at the table.

''Sorry to bother you again..'' He took the other's homework and started copying, making sure some words was different. ''Yea, I know.'' Ryu flashed a smile to Kenichi and continued copying. He wasn't the kind to smile but tried his best beside him. ''Thanks, you saved my life.'' When finished, he leaned beside his friend and gave back the homework. ''Wanna grab a bite after school? I'll treat you.'' Saying so, Ryu started reading again.

Kenichi watches as Ryu copies his homework. He stands up and walks over to the librarian to take out the book he was reading. He signs the slip and walks back to the table, still noticing Ryu copying his homework. Kenichi sits down besides Ryu and notices he was finally done, taking the sheet and puts it back in his bag. He slowly looks up at Ryu and nods his head with a smile, "sure that sounds like a good idea," he starts to zip his bag closed.

''Then it's settled.'' Continuing reading, Ryu quickly get bored of the book as nothing new was coming out of it. In fact, he thought for a second he had already read it. Turning his attention back to his childhood friend, he looks at him as the other starts zipping his bag. ''Time's already over?'' Sighing, he puts the book back where it belongs. Going back where Kenichi and him were, he sighs a second time before taking his bag.

Kenichi nods his head with a smile and looks at the time one last time, putting his bag over his shoulder and stands up once again. He looks at Ryu and tilts his head, "what's wrong? I thought you loved learning," he laughs a little and walks to the library's entrance. He watches Ryu and waves to him, "well... see you after school or even lunch time," he smiles and walks out of the library, bending over to tie his shoes.

Just thinking of the classes, Ryu was already bored. ''I love learning but I can't really try what I learn there outside, it's no fun.'' He did like learning, but he couldn't really use what he learned outside of school, which was his favorite part of learning. Seeing the other smiles, Ryu couldn't stop himself from thinking about how beautiful his childhood friend was. Kenichi was probably popular compared to him who, always in his corner, nobody dared to talk. It's not like Ryu hated that, he actually always prefered it that way. ''Yea, see you later.'' Smiling back, he walks out of the library too.

Kenichi stands up straight and adjusts his bag strap, walking to his first class. He rubs the back of his head with a sigh when he finally made it to the classroom. He sits down on the desk he usually sits and rests his chin on his palm, yawning softly and rubs his eyes. Kenichi taps his foot on the ground and sighs softly, taking out his homework, knowing it was usually the first thing the teacher takes when she got here and closes his eyes for a few minutes, waiting for the other students and the teacher.

Ryu arrived at his class and sat at his desk. He opens his bag and get out few books he always carried in case of boredom Other students started coming in started making noises. Ryu was about to put his music when he overheard the conversation that two girls were having. ''Oh yea, this place?'' said the first one. ''Yea this one, when you eat the dishes in the bottom section, it's supposed to make you closer.''replied the second. ''Yea yea, I heard it too.'' The door opened and the teacher started the lesson. Ryu closed his book as everyone sat at their own place.

Finally the classes ended. Ryu was so bored during his last class he thought he would fall asleep. History was the class he would hate the most since there was nothing to try, it was simply just learning. Well, it was nice to learn about his own history or greeks mythology, but there was nothing as trying something new. Taking his bag and last thing, he call Kenichi. He totally forgot to ask where they would meet. When the other answered his phone, Ryu remembered about this morning's conversation he overheard. ''Hey, where are we meeting?''

Kenichi rests his head on his palm with a sigh, noticing the teacher and the students were coming, picking up his head. He stands up and walks to the teacher's desk, putting the homework on her desk and walks back to his desk. He scratches his head and started doing the class assignment right away so he can listen to music while he draws when the other students would still be working. Kenichi finishes the class assignment and gives it to the teacher, going back to his desk and grabs his iPod from his pocket, turning on the music and puts the ear buds into his ears. He takes out his sketchbook and starts to draw, slicking his hair back while he was drawing.

 

Kenichi picks up his head and stands up when the class ends. He walks out of the classroom and stands by his locker, still listening to music and tapping his foot. He goes into his pocket and takes out his cell phone after hearing it ring, answering it, "oh hey Ryu. Hm.. I am not really sure. Do you want to meet outside the school's entrance?"

''Umm, it doesn't sounds bad. See you there.'' Ryu hang up and go where they just agreed to meet. It took him only one or two minutes, making sure he took everything with him, homeworks included. Standing by the gate, he waits for Kenichi to arrive. Setting his mp3 on, he listen to music while watching students leaving the school. He internally smiled at the idea he got and of course, where they would eat. 'Lets try this..' he thought.

Kenichi smiles and closes his phone, running to the entrance to the school. He got distracted by a few girls that were looking at him, waving his hand with a smile and continues running. He finally made it to the entrance and pants softly, seeing Ryu and sneaks up at him. Kenichi pounces on Ryu's back and wraps his arms around his shoulders, "haha gotcha," he laughs a little and hangs off his back.

Ryu screamed at what the other did. Being scared, he throws his mp3 away and jump from the surprise. Taking few second to realize what happened, he sighed. ''Oh my... stop doing this already. My heart almost stopped.'' He didn't take it bad at all, knowing Kenichi only teased him with this weakness of his. Ryu take his mp3 back from the ground and put it in his bag. ''You know I'm bad with scary things, stop teasing.'' He starts walking without waiting his friend.

Kenichi looks at Ryu and widens his eyes, seeing how bad he reacted. He frails his arms and closes his eyes, "I-I'm so sorry! I forgot that you hate being scared. I just wanted to surprise you not to scare you," he lowers his head and watches Ryu pick up his mp3 player. Kenichi watches as Ryu starts to walk away without waiting for him and walks a inch away from him with a soft sigh.

Ryu was walking for few minutes before doing anything. ''Kenichi, it's alright.'' Going to his friend, he puts his hand on the other's shoulder. ''Don't be like that, I'm not mad.'' Flashing a little smile, Ryu continued walking, but slower so he could be beside his childhood friend. ''I know the right place to feel better and it's my treat, remember?''

Kenichi sighs with his head lowered and looks at the ground while walking. He slowly looks up at Ryu as he approaches him suddenly and looks at him with a soft smile, "o-okay.. I guess I just forgot," he scratches his head. Kenichi tilts his head and follows next to Ryu, "oh really? Do I know this place," he leans slightly forward with a smile.

When he saw Kenichi's soft smile, Ryu couldn't help but smile too. He liked when the other made this face. He looked so... cute? that he just wanted to make him happy. ''Maybe... It's near the school. Or.. I think so.'' He never went there so he wasn't sure where it exactly was. Ryu actually had to ask really quick to those girls, between two classes, to know approximately where it is. ''It's a café and I heard nice things about it. Oh, and they serve sweets too.''

Kenichi pokes Ryu's cheek and laughs softly, "you always did have a nice smile," he smiles and continues walking. He tilts his head and crosses his arms, "so your taking me to a place you don't even know where it is," he laughs softly. Kenichi tilts his head, "a café? That sounds pretty nice," he smiles and nods his head as he continues walking. He looks at his watch and looks up at Ryu, "are we almost there?"

Hearing the other compliment his smile, Ryu almost blushed. He turned his head the other way and looked to see if the café was near. ''Umm, kinda.. Ah, it's there.'' Noticing the café, Ryu get in and take a seat in front of Kenichi. ''My treat. You can take anything from the bottom section. Oh, and something to drink too.'' Looking at the menu, he noticed the names in the said section. Stuffs like ''Honeymoon Smoothie'' or ''Sweetie Icecream'' was written. It was obviously for couples but Ryu didn't mind it anyway. He wanted to test if it really did make people closer. Plus, it was only sweets listed there. When the waitress arrived, Ryu asked for a simple glass of milk. He then looked at Kenishi waiting for him to choose.

Kenichi continues following Ryu and tilt his head, scratching his head with a soft smile while he keeps up with him. He looks where Ryu was going into and follows him. Kenichi looks around the café and smiles, going to the front desk and crotches down to look at all the different things, slowly looking at the drinks Ryu pointed out. He looks at the waitress and scratches his head, "o-oh I will take the Sweetie Ice Cream," he smiles softly, wondering why Ryu only pointed out those and got a milk instead of the ones he mentioned.
