"You're like a ghost then ... " he said passing his hand through his hair and yawning. First day and he was already having trouble with others. He sigh starting to walk towards the Gim, preparing himself.

 

"Then see ya later" he said smiling slightly, leaving him behind.

Genji looks at Akira and lowers his head, "oh... I suppose I am," he looks to the side. He scratches his head and looks at Akira as he was walking the other way, tilting his head.

 

"O-Oh right, have fun in your gym class," he waves and walks to his history class.

Akira went to the gym class and changed his clothes starting to warm up for the training. He started to run on the field thinking without knowing at that boy. Genji. He was nice but he could be like him, right? He shock his head, trying to pay attention on the training. After the running a football game was starting and he made team with some other guys and on the other team, was the bully that he punched earlier. He smiled, being amused by this. The bully smiled as well thinking that this was his chance of revenge.

 

Once the match had started, Akira tried to be as good as he ever was, being the best on the field, until the bully came in and bumped into him, kicking his leg. Akira felt down, biting his lip because of the pain, but wasn't making any sound just looking at the bully with dark cold eyes.

 

"This is for today" he whispered to Akira and disappeared on the field. Akira was taken to the medial office and set up on a bed and being taken care. The rest of the boys, started gossiping about this incident during the break, on the halls, thinking that a new conflict will start between this two.

Genji was in his history class, sitting down next to one of his friend and sighs softly. His friend leans closer to Genji, "tired there buddy," he leans back into his chair. Genji looks at his friend and shakes his head, "nah not really tired. Just busy with school and along that with the new transfer student. I had to show him around the school," he scratches his head. His friend nods and looks at the front of the class as the teacher walked into the room.

 

He taps his pencil on the desk with a sigh, listening to the teacher and looking to the side slightly, thinking about Akira for a few moments before getting his attention back on the class before he got yelled out. He rests his head on his palm and yawns a little, starting to do the class assignment.

 

Genji looks out the window and squints his eyes, seeing Akira outside on the ground. He widens his eyes, wondering what had happen and shakes his head. ~I will have to go after to see what happened,~ he looks at his teacher, knowing he wasn't going to be let him go during class.

The nurses started to clean and bandaged his leg while they were filling some papers. Akira started to curse that bully. He hatted this school but could leave. He could let that boy all by himself. That Genji, what did he do to him? All he could think was that boy, and only because he was the only one that spoke to him and became friend with him. First day and he already had an enemy.

After his history class, Genji asked around among the other students seeing where Akira was located since he didn't know if he had to go home or was in the nurse's office. Finally getting an answer, he runs to the nurses office and looks at Akira, "is everything okay?" He watches the nurse clean it and walks into the nurse's office, looking at Akira.

He wanted to get out from bed but the nurse wasn't letting him so he cursed a few times but after he behaved. When he heard Genji's voice he turned his head and lifted himself up to see him.

 

"Nothing to worry about" he said, smiling at the boy, then looked at the nurse. "Just a small injure" he added.

Genji smiles as he looked at Akira, sitting in a chair next to the bed Akira was resting on and leans forward to look at the small injury, "yeah it doesn't look that bad. I use to fall a lot and get injuries like that."

 

"So do you have any plans after school," he smiles while resting his hands on his lap.

"Not quite ... Dad didn't say anything so that means I'm free" he said letting his pants over the bandage and taking his shoes again. He tried to walk but his leg was hurting.

 

"Try not to move to much. If is any help you can use a stick or something to lean on" said the nurse when she turned and give Akira some medicines for his pain.

 

"Thanks. I'm fine" he said to the nurse as polite as he could. "What plans do you have?" he asked the boy with a soft smile on his face.

Genji looks at Akira and scratches his head a little with a soft smile, watching as Akira was putting his pants over the bandage and started to walk.

 

"Hey you shouldn't overdo it. The bullies here are very... ruthless sometimes," he stands up and walks over to the door, looking at his watch to see what the time was.

 

Genji looks over his shoulder at Akira and turns around, "well... since your a transfer student does that mean your still use to the area? Or maybe would you like to be invited to a restaurant? You must be a bit hungry from P.E, I only had two classes today so I am pretty much free for the day."

"Yeah ... lunch sounds good" he said walking slow to the door, leaning a little against the wall then looked at the boy. "Would you mind if I lean on you till we get outside so that I don't jump like a bunny around here?" he said turning his head to one side waiting for the boy's answer. Genji was really cute in compare with the rest of the students. He never depended on anybody but now he was asking for help. But it was alright. With Genji was a first, and he had the feeling that more were about to come.

Genji nods his head with a smile, "oh good I know the perfect place," he watches as Akira was leaning against the wall. He nods his head slowly and walks over to Akira, going against him, "go ahead and lean. I may not be the strongest guy for this, but I will try to suppose you the best I can," he nods his head and holds onto Akira while walking out the door.

"You're ok" he said, leaning on the boy, holding his hand over Genji's shoulder and starting to walk along the hall way till outside the school, heading to the place Genji knew to eat.

Sensing the boy's perfume, he started breath deeper and deeper and slowly breath out. He smelled like cherry to him, or it was because of the drugs (medicines) that he took back in the nurses office.

 

"Hope they got a lot of good food cause I am really hungry" he said laughing.

Genji nods his head and wraps his arm around Akira's waist to keep him supported while walking along the hallway. He looks up at Akira and blinks a little when hearing Akira sniff into the air, looking down with a blush, ~I-Is he smelling me,~ he thought as he walks on the sidewalk outside.

 

He looks up at Akira and laughs softly, nodding his head, "they have all kinds of good food there," he smiles while walking. "P.E. must have gotten you very hungry," he laughs a little while walking.

"Not only that ... Also that stupid kid" he said making reference at the bully that injured him. He was going to pay aswell but not just now. "That person is just a human being with no brain connection" he added laughing. Maybe his jokes were a little weird but they had a little humor in them.

"But let's not talk anymore about that. Don't know ... Let's talk about you. What do you do in your free time?" he asked looking at him while he was hoping on the street near him. "I'm not a weirdo, but your my only friend here, and I find it easy to talk to you" he added quickly.

Genji continues to walk, supporting Akira and slowly approaches the restaurant. He looks up at Akira and nods his head, "yeah.. they can be like that sometimes," he laughs softly while walking up to the door. Genji looks at Akira as he opens the door, "huh? My free time? Well I usually just go on walks, play video games with my mom its fun to try to convince her though," he laughs a little as he walks into the restaurant. Genji's father walks over to Genji, "oh hey there Genji. Here for lunch," he stands there in a chef's outfit and walks over to get one of the waitresses.

"Cool ... I think it's nice to have a mother" he mumbled as they got in the restaurant. "Maybe we can play sometimes thous video games Once they got in a man approaches them and saluted Genji. Akira looked at him and it was a fine man, and a cook. "You know him?" he asked in a low voice standing straight.

Genji looks at Akira, "o-oh.. do you not have one," he tilts his head and stops talking since he didn't know if Akira wanted to talk about that. He nods his head with a smile, "yeah video games sound good, maybe after lunch we can," he looks at his father and nods his head, waiting for the waitress. Genji looks at Akira and nods his head, "yeah I know him. He is my new dad," as he watches him walk away.

"New dad?" he said after the boy, heading to a table and sat down on a chair, resting a bit, looking around the place. 'He has a new dad...wandering what happened with the old one ... but better not asking now' he was thinking while he looked into the menu to check what he will eat.

"I think I would eat some stake with potato and a small salad" he said putting the menu aside. "I told you I am very hungry" he laughed.

Genji nods his head with a sigh and walks to a table, sitting down in front of Akira and looks at him, "is your leg okay now that your sitting?" He smiles softly and looks down at the menu, tapping his foot on the floor while deciding what he was going to have. Genji looks up at Akira and laughs softly, "well I suppose you weren't lying when you said you were hungry. I think I am going to order the quesadilla dinner with to go salad," he puts the menu to the side and looks out the window with a smile.

"Yeah, well .... nice choice what can I say" he replied leaning with his hands on the table, looking at him. "And do you have siblings?" asked starting to play with a tissue that was on the table. It was quite odd, the two of them, alone, taking lunch. But they were friends. From his side wasn't a problem to be more. He liked him, but didn't know if Genji was feeling the same way, and he didn't want to force him into this.

Genji rests his hands on his lap as he was looked at Akira with a smile. He tilts his head and shakes his head, "I think my mom is trying to but right now no. I use to, but I got separated when my mom was split up." He places with the ketchup container and rests his head to the wall with a yawn. Genji rubs his eyes and leans back in the chair, resting his hand on his palm.

Akira narrowed his eyes when he heard what Genji was telling him. It was just like him. 'could it be? .... neah', he thought wile looking at the boy with a sad smile. He didn't know what to say more but he was lucky because the food was there and so he started to ea.

 

"My parents got split as well" he said not mentioning that he did had a brother but just like him they got separeted. They were to much alike and that would had hurt the boy. "And how you guys see girls and stuff? Being in an all boy school is pretty hard" he said trying to make the mood better.

Genji looks at Akira's facial expressions and tilts his head a little, ~why is he doing that look? It only happened after I told him.. about my parents splitting up. Is that why he reacted to when I said something about my mother?~ He scratches his head as he goes into a deep thought and looks up when the food arrived, starting to eat as well.

 

He looks up at Akira and lowers his head, "oh so your parents got split up as well?" Genji continues eating and rests his head on his palm, looking up at Akira, "how am I with girls? Well I don't see girls on a daily basis but when I help my dad out I do seem a few girls when I serve tables," he drinks some of his soda.

"Oh ... so you are working here?" he asked making a break from eating to look at the boy beeing surprised to hear that, but in a good way. He though that all the students were part from wealthy families.

"I think I like you. I thought that you are a snob like the rest of them from achool, but you are quite alright" he said smiling starting to eat again.
