Colten is a music major with a minor in Psychology he tends to like to hang out with his friends when he isn't studying or working on his latest music project that he wish to try to get done. He enjoys video gaming as well as reading when he has down time, loving what he does he always seems to be tapping on something his hope is to one day work as a music composure for video games or djing part time with some big names in the music industry. At the age of 21 Colten seems to be on a fast track of trying to get to where he was going having being a advance student in high school he graduated at the age of sixteen.

 

Having found himself out of the loop for a while he did come to make friends in the college by joining groups and other activities as well as talking to some of the others from the class. He is a bit of a prankster when he wants to be enjoying to eat funyuns and drink orange soda while he is bored as well as singing to pass the time away. He is your typical music/ geek enjoying mmo games as well as an old school player of the elder scrolls games.

Colten had taken the day to go to Tony's place having been told that their was going to be a meet up of some sort. He always did enjoy hanging out and meeting up at Tony's place certainly cause their was always someone new in the crowd he hadn't met before, normally he tried to be outgoing and talk to people just to break the ice at some point so they could all laugh and get along. But knowing Tony the crowd might be swarmed by women or all his gamer guy friends which means either socializing with girls for hours on end or spending time gaming or playing one of the table top games like D&D or Shadowrun for hours on end which he didn't mind doing at all.

 

He was hoping the other had booze and snacks this time but normally they would do some goofy shit and record for Tony's youtube channel if it was guys hanging out. Finally parking his little civic in front of Tony's place he would hop out his car grabbing his messenger bag and moving to head up to the back door of Tony's house, which Tony always left unlocked when he was having a party he would head inside waving to Tony's girlfriend with a smile already seeing that she was hanging out with a couple of girls that were her friends " Hey Stacy!" Colten shouted before moving forward shutting the door behind him. Stacy would run over give him a hug " Oh Colten good to see you hope you got some blazing jams for us tonight anyways the guys are downstairs if you wanna go hang with them." She was hyper little red head that in some respects was like a big sister to Colten she treated him like a little brother as he hugged her back then smiled. " Alright I got some new songs for you all to hear." he said in a casual manner clapping his hands together as he turned then wandered down the steps.

 

Soon he was in the lair as they called it the best place in the house every gaming system known to modern man was in this place. Tony had the best set up ever that being said a 50 inch tv, surround sound bose system, the place even had its own bar down there that was fully set up like the guy was well to do. Thing was Tony had money given he was a college guy but he was in his 30's and already had the best place of all his friends.

 

" Tony!!!" he shouted as he moved over to him doing their bro handshake with a smirk " So what's on for tonight I see girls upstairs so I am guessing a mixer for one of your girlfriends friends right?" He asked as he smirked Tony was drinking a beer with a smirk nodding his head " Yep, hopefully this time you walk away with a date this time from the mixer swear man you never date anyone, not to mention I am starting to wonder about you my friend." he held up the bottle to him with a grin before taking a sip " To focus on your work but you never take time to get a little ass now and then my friend... you'll die of blue balls." Tony said as he waved some of the guys over " These are some of the guys from my class and a few old high school pals I invited that well are single and ready to mingle so lets hope you walk away with someone... and lets say more bro pals cause all you do is hold up in your place or come here." He stated as he lead Colten to the bar for a drink.

 

Colten made a face as he waved his hand the thing was he hadn't told Tony about his little thing Colten was gay in fact but, how do you tell your best friend your gay which wasn't always cool. He shrugged it off a bit then slapped Tony on the back " I'll have one of your wine coolers... anyways I just haven't found the one that I want yet... give me time due and work, school, as well as my music is important to me right now so don't bug me so much about getting a piece of ass." he stated as he leaned against the bar.

Abel Fierro

Age: 22

 

He is studying to become a graphic designer. He is half Spanish and half Italian. His parents met in Italy and moved to the U.S. before he was born. He can be lazy and stresses out at the last minute over projects, but when it comes to things he's passionate about, he's very hardworking. He loves to watch cartoons and anime. He's also an avid reader of comics/ graphic novels/ manga. He likes to work on his comic during his free time. Since his parents were against video games, he never really grew much of an interest. He likes candy and keeps a stash in his room. He's shy, but once he takes a liking towards someone, he becomes more outgoing. He also has a pet bearded dragon named Dorothy.

tony had befriended Abel in their world history class. He was alone in the class, since his friend, Jason, was in other classes. They sat next to one another and eventually they began talking and became fast friends. Tony had invited him to a party he was having at his house. Since he had nothing planned that weekend, he agreed.

 

He stood in front of the door. He could hear the sound of people talking and laughing. He held the box of hard apple cider, tightly. He took deep breathes before he knocked on the door with his knee. He hadn't hung out with anyone, but his friend Jason. Alas, Jason had a big project due in a couple days and couldn't come with him.

 

Eventually, someone had opened the door for him. He looked down and thanked the person. He shuffled inside. The person who had opened the door was a cute, petite redhead. He looked around the room and saw mostly girls.

“um...thank you...sorry for being so rude, but what's your name? I'd like to properly thank you. If it's no trouble, would you mind telling me where tony is?” he muttered, nervously.

The red headed girl giggled.

“my name's Stacy, what's your name? Oh, and tony is in his lair. It's in the basement. Just go over to that door and you'll find him. Have fun and mingle a little!” she said, cheerfully.

“um...my name is Abel and thank you for letting me in.” he shuffled towards the basement. He noticed how cute the girls were and tried not to stare.

 

He struggled to open the door, but he eventually succeeded. He walked down the stairs and saw a large group of guys hanging out. Either playing games, drinking or just talking. He looked around the room and saw tony talking with a handsome guy with reddish purple hair and black rimmed glasses. He didn't know whether to walk over or just wait. He noticed the table at the corner and decided to set the box of cider on the table. He opened the box and pulled out a hard cider. He saw tony motion him over and he shyly walked over.

Tony look at Abel with a smile as he started to grin as he moved him over to meet Colten with a chuckle " Abel this is Colten a friend of mine for a while now. Colten this is Abel from my history class I'm positive you two will like to talk well he is an artist and your a music major so I am sure those two things in common be cool enough." He would grin at Abel " Don't be to shy now anyways also you might want to put your drinks in the fridge my man." With that Tony walked away leaving Colten and Abel to chat a bit.

 

Colten chuckled as he lifted his beer moving closer to Abel with a grin " Well isn't he just classy with introductions." he shook his head some then held out his hand to Abel " But my name is Colten and a pleasure to meet you by the way. " he would look around at all the girls then back at the other with a grin " So your here to join in meeting the girls or just being nice to hang with Tony?" he took a long sip of his beer then shifted slightly with a smile thinking for a moment that the black hair blue eyed guy beside him was kinda hot.

 

" So Abel are you a gamer as well if so wanna play something?" He was trying to hold a bit of casual conversation with the other but didn't hurt to flirt just a bit now did it. Even if the guy didn't notice him for what he is doing.

Abel nodded at Tony's request.

"it's very nice to meet you, Colten." He shyly replied.

Once Tony left he turned to Colten and took a gulp of his hard cider.

"That's very cool. I'd like to hear your music sometime." He said, shyly and took a gulp of his drink.

 

Abel didn't know what to say or do. He had to admit that Colten was quite handsome. He looked around the room and saw the cute girls.

"um...I didn't know there would be so many pretty girls. I just assumed there'd be drinking and talking." He said, nervously.

When it came to his sexuality, Abel was bisexual, but nobody knew besides his friends. He had taken a liking to Colten and didn't want to seem too creepy and have him get uncomfortable.

 

When Colten asked him if he wanted to play a video game, he chuckled nervously.

"I'm not much of a gamer, but I'd like to play with you." He said, stating to relax.

He took one last sip of his drink, before finishing it.

"um...let me just go throw this bottle and put the hard cider into the fridge."

He hurried to throw his bottle and place the box of hard cider, before reaching for another and quickly went back to Colten.

"Sorry for taking so long. So what are we gonna play?"

Colten smirked as he was checking out Abel curiously at the moment letting his eyes take in the handsome guy that was before him. He finished his beer shifting to put the empty bottle away when Abel did " So you wanna hear my music I have my laptop here so I can show you some of my work." He would then shift to go toward his bag with a smile gazing at the other for a long moment.

 

" Tony and his girlfriend knows a lot of pretty girls and some really cool guys so its now unusual for them to have so many over." He would shift a bit watching the other walk away from him he had to grade his body as something he would date.

 

As he heard the other wasn't much of a gamer he would chuckled a bit as he bit his bottom lip thinking for a moment " Hmm, lets see not much of a gamer how about we listen to some music, go out for a smoke maybe and talk some. I suppose it would be cool to talk outside where it isn't so loud." He would offer as his way of flirting he was trying to be charming in his own strange manner but he wasn't sure the other would take offense to something like that our catch on that he was even doing so.

Abel was attracted to Colten. He found him really cool and handsome. When Colten offered to play his music, he peeked up.

"That would be really cool. I'd love to hear your work."

He played with the paper from his bottle and gulped it down, before heading to get another. He noticed that Colten would stare intensely at him and he felt slightly embarrassed, but brushed it off. He enjoyed talking to him and would rather spend time with him then anyone else at the moment.

 

"Yeah, I noticed. I'm just not sure why they'd invite me. Everyone is so lively and I'm feeling like I'm boring the shit out of you. But I'm still up for whatever you'd like to do. I'm enjoying myself. Just talking to you is very nice." He took a gulp from his bottle and looked away. He felt like he might have creeped Colten.

 

"Smoke what?" He asked Colten, when Colten offered going out and smoking, but he felt like an idiot when he asked.

"Sorry about that. Probably sounded like a pothead, huh?" He muttered as he chuckled, nervously.

"But yeah. I'll take you on that offer. Ours pretty body in here."

He followed Colten around the room and only occasionally left to get another drink.

Colten looked at him as he took to the other room as he chuckled some with a grin taking his laptop with him as he set it up to play the music then took a sip of his beer with a grin. " Well they just like to get people out and about so they could have some fun you know." He would snicker then tilted his head to the side for a moment then grinned more at the other's words about smoking what.

 

" So you like a little bud hmm?" He asked as he chuckled for a moment as he shifted playing on a song as he turned lightly then dug into his jacket pulling out tin can that was for mints " I do happen to have some bud if you'd like to partake with me." He snickered as he shakes his head some " And you don't sound like a pothead at all just a guy that enjoys some good herb." he would move to sit down on the sofa motioning for the other to sit with him.

 

" So lets see what is it that you like to do ? Also what are you going to school for?" He asked as he let the songs play on he was doing his best way to feel out the other for what he was. He would show now that he was interested by lighting up a joint then offering it out to Abel with a smirk. " So tell me about yourself other then the fact your kinda shy." he pointed out letting his gaze wander over the others body.

Abel nodded and shyly followed Colten outside. When Colten pulled out a mint box with buds. He nodded.

"yeah, i wouldn't mind partaking. I've already disappointed my parents enough. This won't matter." He was being to be more open after drinking a fair amount. He gladly sat beside Colten.

 

He heard the music softly playing from Colten's laptop and smiled.

"your music is really good. I like it." His got taping to the beat.

 

When Colten asked him what he was studying to do he took a sip, before answering.

"I'm studying to become a graphic designer. What about you? What's your major?"

He was beginning to like Colten a lot more than expected. He tried to keep his eyes away from him and preoccupied with his bottle of hard cider.

He chuckled at Abel's comment about disappointing his parents as he let his eyes wander over him a long moment, he would shift slightly before rolling a blunt then lighting it up. " Don't we all disappoint our parents in some kind of way?" He asked as he took a long drag from it then passed it to Abel blowing the smoke out with a grin.

 

" Glad you like my music its just a start there for me I hope to do some video game soundtracks one day." he nodded his head to the beat as he let his eyes wander over the other curiously with a grin. " A graphic designer now that is a great subject to study. I'm a music major with a minor in psychology." he shrugged some with a smile letting his eyes wander over Colten for a moment as moved to lean toward him with a smile.

 

" So what do you do for fun?" He asked as he smiled then grinned liking the idea of flirting with this guy so he pulled off his glasses then leaned toward him. " Also are you dating anyone?" He would move to lean closer to Abel with a devious smile.

Abel gladly took the blunt and took a deep drag. He let out a large puff of smoke. He passed it back to Colten and sighed. He leaned back and looked at the sky. He chuckled at Colten's comment about everyone disappointing their parents.

"You're right. I just...I don't know. My parents had these expectations of me. Like being athletic or smart. But I've disappointed them. My dad doesn't find what I wanna do is 'smart'. Like maybe I should become a mechanic like him, but I don't want to." He said, sadly.

He sat up and looked at Colten, embarrassed.

"Sorry for getting all moody, this is a fun moment." He said, chuckling nervously.

 

"That sounds so cool! I'd be inclined to play games if they had your music in them." He said, shyly.

He blushed when Colten commented on his major as a graphic designer. He noticed Colten get closer and began to get slightly nervous. He rarely sat this closer to someone. He didn't know whether to stay seated or scoot away.

"I like...cartoons. And working on my webcomic." He murmured, shyly.

Hew felt his heartbeat pick up speed as Colten drew closer. He looked away and fiddled with his hands.

"I'm not dating anyone. I can't say I've dated anyone, except this girl. But it was just to dinner and a movie." He said, nervously.

[Nikolas]

" Do what pleases you... don't do something that you only think your parents want you to do." he would take the blunt back taking a long drag off of it then holding it before letting out the smoke into the air. " How I see it doing what makes your parents happy won't make you happy... even if they are not happy you can still do what pleases you." he would smile then passed the blunt back to Abel " Your cool for letting out how you feel you must needed someone to talk to about that. "

 

" Not to mention I would love to see your artwork and webcomic might spark me to make some music for them." he chuckled some then shifted a bit as he let his eyes wander over Abel curiously " So you haven't dated that many people hmm? Well its always good to focus on studies I can't say I've been out dating much lately myself eh." he would be more relaxed then he had in a while as he bit his bottom lip noticing the other got nervous at how close he was.

 

Shifting away from Abel as he smiled then just sat there thinking " Now you say you like cartoons is it like Anime like the japanese cartoons or the americanized ones like X-men or tom and Jerry?" He was curious about the other then rubbed his chin trying to think " Hm, seems I am out of beer might get more... You want something?"

[pandamonium]

Abel nodded and stood up. He smiled and fiddled with his bottle.

"Yeah, I'll go with you. I kinda don't like being alone, when I smoke. Gets me nervous." He said with a chuckle.

"I like both. Can't decide between. And a voice actor can get me to watch anything, if I'm a big fan."

He stretched his back and popped his neck.

 

"I'd love it if you were to read my work. It'd be an honor, actually."

He began to grow nervous from the talk of dating.

"Can't say it's because of school. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to that. It's actually a miracle when I pass classes. One of the factors for not really dating, is I haven't really met someone I'm willing to seek a relationship with. Another is, what if I fall for a boy? My parents would eventually have to know and the thought of telling them is terrifying. Obviously I don't want my lover to feel like I'm embarrassed of being with them."

He said with a sad expression. He snapped and turned to look at Colten.

"I'm terribly sorry, you probably didn't want to hear that. I'm making you uncomfortable, I'll leave you alone if you'd like."

[Nikolas]

Colten walked with a smile slowly to head back inside " So your a nervous smoker means I need to be careful how much I give ya." He would turn walking backwards to watching him wiggling his eyebrows some with a chuckle. " As for being lazy I don't blame you I mean I'm lazy at times to so its normal I mean I'm slacking off tonight to hang out with some people and make new friends." he would laugh as he listened to the last part that Abel was saying Colten relaxed as he grinned some.

 

" Why should you care what they think of you falling in love with a guy? " He didn't even bat an eye at saying this " To be honest you should love the person you love no matter if your family accepts it or not." He would then turn slowly walking with his back to him " Your lover should be understanding of that as well you know... I mean respecting your wishes not to say you are out there loving a guy or not." He would shrug a little thinking " Love should have no bounds no matter what."

 

" As for making me uncomfortable.. your not... in fact your a cool guy and I think your handsome." He would open the door to go back in the house without much else of another word. He was going to let that settle in his head for the moment as he wanted him to think on everything he just told him.

[pandamonium]

Abel began to laugh, softly.

"Not really. I only get nervous when I'm alone." He said scratching his head.

 

"You're right. Even my friend Jason said something along those lines, but you don't understand how it's like to have strict and traditional catholic parents. They expect their kids to be obedient and hardworking." He said with an exasperated tone.

He took deep breathes and calmed down.

"But of course I want my parents to be proud of me. At this point they'll probably never be. So what's the point?" He said with a sigh.

"What's with all sentimental shit? We should be having fun!" He said excitedly.

 

When he heard Colten say he found him handsome, he blushed and began to fiddle with his bottle again. After a few minutes of silence he got the cottage to talk, again.

"Really? You find me...handsome? I actually find you...handsome." He said, shyly.

[Nikolas]

Colten chuckled looking at him a long moment as he let his eyes wander over him intently then bites his bottom lip thinking about what he said about how he was raised. " Well I understand how it is to be raised strictly... " He would let his eyes wander over him then step more closely with a smirk " Your right about the sentimental things lets have fun hmm?" He asked as he dipped his head a bit with a grin on his face.

 

He slowly stepped forward then let his eyes wander over him curiously before he smiled " You find me handsome... ? " He would take hold of the other's hand then tugged him more closely " Well how about we ditch this party we go and have something to eat... Maybe play get to know each other better." he would say in a soft manner smiling some.

Abel nodded and began to laugh.

"You're right! We should just have fun and spend the night having fun!" He exclaimed excitedly.

 

Abel looked away and nodded. He took a hold of Colten's hand and pulled him towards the door. He rarely felt so close towards someone, but with Colten, he felt like being near him.

"Yeah, that sounds better than being here. Even though I'll be sad to see the pretty girls go." He said with a laugh.

He scratched his head and looked down. "Sorry." Hr mumbled

"So where are we going?" He asked.

Colten smiled at holding Abel's hand he would chuckle a moment then gaze at him a long moment before he tilted his head to the side some with a grin. He would snicker a bit as he thought about this whole idea with hanging out with this cute guy like abel. It had been a while since he had actually looked at someone in like forever.

 

"Yeah, being here maybe sad to leave but... We can say that we may have a good eye for girls but is that what your really in the mood for?" he asked with a smirk then walked in to grab his bag and pack his laptop with a grin letting his eyes wander over him curiously for a moment.

" Well we can go to this like hole in the wall kinda diner I go hang at and if you want is chill out maybe at one of the local bars I go to or I can take you to hang out at my place show you more of my music." he suggested with a smile as he gave a casual look over Abel.

 

He would walk over to Tony giving him a high five with a smile as leaned toward him " Hey Abel and I are going to hang out for a bit some place a little more quiet I suppose. " he said with a smile then let his eyes flicker over him curiously. He would shake his head a bit before moving to leave.

Abel grinned and felt as if a weight was lifted from his chest. He liked the way Colten bit his lip, he found it charming. Wait. Is Colten flirting? He thought as he continued to look at him more closely. He did find me handsome, he thought. when the realization hit him, he facepalmed. He did take a strong liking to Colten. He felt like how he had felt with his friend, Jason.

 

"Yeah, I guess. There are very pretty girls here. But, I already have my eye on someone else." He muttered.

He waited for Colten to grab his things and just looked around the room. He was looking to say goodbye to Tony and the pretty petit redhead that had helped him earlier.

"I'm up for whatever you want to do. I'm just happy to hang out with you." He said with a smile.

 

He saw Colten walk over to Tony and he followed close behind. He waved goodbye to Tony and waited for Colten, so they could leave.

Colten chuckled as he looked back at Abel once he had said his goodbyes with a smile soon they were walking out the party " So you have your eye on someone already must be one lucky person then." he stated as he slowly walked toward his car then pointed at Abel " How much did you drink?" He asked as he thought about the two beers he had then debated on how many that Abel had to think about him driving safely.

 

" If you drank more then me I would rather drive you to the place then by the time were done eating and everything I can bring you back for your car you'll have sobered up by then." He smiled going over to his little honda and started to unlock the doors with ease standing in the door way of his car.

Abel laughed and played with his jacket. His hair covering his face from sight.

"I wouldn't say that. Whoever had me liking them would have to put up with my about like my fear of the dark and superstitious nature." He muttered. He took a deep breathe of the night air and exhaled. He felt better being outside of the stuffy house. With Colten by his side, he didn't feel afraid of the dark shadowy figures.

 

"I've only drank three. So I guess you're right. We'll come back for my car then."

He walked close to Colten and followed him to his car.

"Since your driving me, I should do something nice for you in return."

[Nikolas]

Colten smirked looking at him as he got into his car then grinned at his comment " Well if they can't put up with the way you are then they are a loser, the thing is to help you get over the fear of dark would be best if they are by your side and let you know everything will be okay." He was a charming guy he had to give it to himself but he spoke the truth about those things and he was right to the point.

 

" Now then hop on in and as for you owing me a favor how would you like to repay me?" He shook his head a bit with a chuckle then hooked his seatbelt in before placing his key in the ignition. He was trying to think at this point about Abel what was the best way to come off like he liked him but not being to aggressive that it ran the poor guy off.

 

" Also I promise you I am a very good driver so no worries about that alright." he winked at Abel waiting for him to get in and place on his seat belt he soon hooked his ipod into the radio to put on some good tunes that he liked to listen to.

Abel shrugged and sat down in the passenger's seat.

"I guess, but I don't want to seem clingy towards them. I understand if they want their personal space and just want to be alone."

He blushed and fiddled with the seatbelt.

"I'd like it if someone took the time to help me with my stupid fear. It's embarrassing." He muttered.

 

"I wouldn't mind paying for gas or pissing for your meal. Whichever you prefer."

He was enjoying the time with Colten. He'd felt a connection with him and didn't want to say or do anything to ruin it.

"I assumed you were a good driver. I'm personally terrible. I barely got my license last year."

He began to relax once the music began to play. He took a deep breathe and exhaled. Usually music calmed his nerves when he was nervous.

Colten put his car into gear once Abel was all settled and buckled into his car pulling from the curb " Well you should take a chance with the guy or girl honestly... and being clingy well some people may not like it but your not sure about this person right?" He asked as he turned to head up to the corner with a smile on his face then looked over to Abel as he said something about his fear.

 

" Well I can help you with it if you want I know some ways to calm the fear of things." he would nod his head to the music as he slowly turned the corner and headed to the main road then started to drive the speed limit carefully " Well I say gas will be fine if you want five bucks will work." he suggested as he looked over to him " I rather not have you paying for my meal I eat a fucking lot plus if anyone was to pay for someones meal I would pay for yours." he snickered some as he shifted the gears of the car again then drove a little faster.

 

" Well you know practice is key for driving and drivers test do make a person nervous you know so I don't blame you if you were nervous about driving." He smiled over to him before he headed down a side street finally pulling up to a little diner then put the car into park in a parking spot. " Here we are Lilo's diner one of the best spots on this side of town I found it by chance one night when I was really hungry." He said in a casual manner before moving to hop out the car then gazed over to him " By the way Abel no need to be nervous with me you can relax I can see the tension in your neck and shoulders from being so nervous."

Abel smiled and nodded. He turned to look at Colten and couldn't help but blush. He was beginning to feel like his feelings for Colten were beginning to solidify. He enjoyed listening to Colten talk and give him advice. He took all his advice to heart.

“You're very insightful. I enjoy listening to your advice.”

 

“Really? I'd be very grateful.” He was glad someone was going to help him with his problem. As much as he trusted and confided in Jason, there were certain things he just couldn't tell him. Like his fears or that fact he was attracted to him for some time. He was afraid of scaring him away and having their friendship end.

“I wouldn't mind pitching more than five. I like treating others in any way I can.” He murmured, shyly. He was beginning to sober up and starting to grow more nervous than before.

 

“I was nervous. But I did improve a bit more, since I got a part-time job.” He answered. When they arrived at the diner, he waited for Colten to get out, before he began to get out of the car.

“Sorry. I'm not used to talking so much with anyone besides Jason and Tony. So it's kinda weird. I don't like to talk about feelings, so you must be someone I want to get closer to.” He began to stretch and crack his neck from the tension in his neck and shoulders. He was surprised that Colten could notice that from him.

Colten smiled as he walked to the door of the restaurant with a grin " Well lets put it this way...
