Through a friend ( Pandamonium/Nikolas)

[Nikolas]

Colten looked at him as he pulled into the parking lot of the bookstore then chuckled some " Well it takes time for a person to want to be free with themselves and their emotions. Sometimes its not always good to always say what comes to mind you usually end up putting your foot in your mouth at times." he smirked looking at the other curiously for a moment lofting a brow thinking for a moment as he shrugged some trying to figure things out for himself. He would flick his bangs back once he had parked the car fully.

 

He would smile nodding his head some " Seems like we kind of have the same taste in music which is cool." He said as he saw the other check his phone he would shift some " If you need to take that call or make a new one its fine." he said with a smile then let his eyes lift to meet Abel's then smiled " Well lets see I need to get my books and things to study so we can take our time here I also like the coffee at this bookstore along with their bake goods they have some pretty good stuff." He said with a smile as he moved to slip out the car gazing at him.

Abel laughed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Oh dude, you have no idea. My dad once pointed out my mom gaining weight, the anger in her eyes, thought she was going to breathe fire and stab him." He walked alongside Colten into the bookstore.

 

"That's great. I actually wanted to check out the comics and graphic novels." He smiled at the similar tastes in music he had with Colten. "I'm glad. I like pastries and coffee." He reached for Colten's hand and blushed. He lived how soft and warm Colten's hand was. He felt his cold fingers begin to warm to the touch.

Colten walked with his hands in his pockets smirking as he looked at him tilting his head to the side " Your dad sounds like an awesome honest man." He grinned looking at him with a smile then lofted a brow with a smile his eyes wandered over him intently thinking for a long moment. He would ruffle his own hair moving to opening the door for him with a smile " As for you being into graphic novels and comics I think its cool actually. " He said with a smile as he gazing at him for a long moment

 

Wanna get coffee and pastries first?" He asked as he soon moved leting his eyes wander over him intently with a chuckle. He would soon moved to offer his hand out to him taking it into his own to warm it with a smile.

Abel chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. I guess. He's pretty funny. My mom's pretty interesting. She's really strong and assertive. She doesn't take shit sitting down. Well, maybe you'll meet them sometime." He murmured and ran his hands through his hair. "I'm glad you think they're cool. I have a ton, I'd you ever wanna read some, I'll let you borrow any you like." He blushed and cleared his throat.

 

"I'd like that. I'm in the mood for coffee and maybe a pastry." Abel noticed Colten stretching his hand out for him. He shyly reached fore Colten's hands. His heart beat, furiously add he's hand clasped onto Colten's hand.

Colten chuckled as he looked at him tilting his head to the side as he smirked " Well my parents are pretty funny too though I have to say its cool your dad is open." He smirked as he walked moving to the counter ordering something for himself as he looked over to the other curiously " I would like to borrow some of them." he said with a nod of his head with a grin loftng a brow some as he watched him. " So your a sweet tooth kind of guy?" He asked with a curious manner then leaning back with a smile as he held his head to the side.

 

" So lets see shall we study hard for our exams?" he asked as he held his head to the side trying to think of something to say to the other as he let out a deep breath then slowly lead him toward one of the tables once they got their drinks and food.

Abel shrugged. "I guess." He gave a small smile to Colten. "I'm glad you're family is cool. It's nice to be closer to your family. Can't say I am." He chuckled and cleared his throat. He nodded, ordering a cheesecake brownie. "Sure, I'd love to. Next time you come, you should check them out." His face flushed red. His hands were beginning sweat and his body felt warm. "Yeah. I like them. I can't really eat spicy foods or bitter things. So sweets are usually what i like to eat."

 

Abel nodded. "Yeah. I need to study and finish a design for my class, tomorrow." He felt his heart best rapidly at being so close to Colten. He liked the way Colten would tilt his head. The way he smiled. The way he laughed. Everything. He wished he could be kinda like him. Not be afraid to say what's on his mind.

Colten laughed looking at him as he took a seat at one of the tables with his coffee smiling at him then nodded his head. " Well they are alright anyways I want to know more about you." He said with a smile shifting a bit in the chair " I suppose I shouldn't take you to get sushi with wasabi." He joked as he stared at him then leaned placing his hand under his chin staring at him. " So what kind of design are you planning on doing for your class?" He asked seeming very curious about the other.

 

" I should get to writing the paper I need to do." He chuckled all the while pulling out the things he needed to get done." So lets see if you want I can cook you dinner or take you out to eat later... I was wondering I know this is forward would you like to have a little date with me?" He lifted his gaze up at the other with a smirk " I don't know if you figured it out yet but well lets put it this way I am into guys so you can reject me all the same."

Abel panicked and shook his head. "No! It's fine! I like sushi! And udon."

He realized he spoke up too loudly in the bookstore and sat down looking at his feet. He had gotten overexcited.

"um, I'm sorry. Shouldn't have gotten so loudly."

 

"I'm doing a graffiti style pin up girl. It was all I could think of in a sorry amount of time. Since our project was for commercial purposes."

He was starting to relax. He grinned. He liked talking about art listening to what others were doing. He liked at Colten.

"What's your paper on?"

He gave a soft blush. "You don't need to go through all that trouble for me. And I wouldn't mind going on a date with you. I like you, so I'd really like to go on a date with you."

He flushed even darker. "I personally do like guys a bit, and girls. I like who I like."

Colten laughed looking at Abel with a smile then lofted a brow at him " Well then I will have to make some homemade things now won't I?" he would wave his hand some " Your fine just keep your voice down now." He seemed tickled at this fact then grinned at him leaning closer as he lofted a brow with a sinister grin playing on his face he was an impish one at best and loved to tease guys when he had the chance.

 

" Hrm a pinup girl sounds hot I'll have to see the artwork once your done with it." he said in a casual manner " My paper is on the economy." he said with a smile holding his head to the side as he let his eyes wander over him curiously " Well I say lets go on a date when your not busy now another thing is hrm... you like guys have you ever you know had a sexual relationship with one?"

Abel nodded, he felt like he was seating bullets. How embarrassing.

"Yeah, I'll show you the end results. I'm almost finished with her. She's turning out alright."

He fiddled with his fingers. He noticed a change in Colten's eyes. Like a wolf looking at his prey. He felt his heart beat fast.

 

"That's sounds really complicated. You must be super smart."

At being asked if he's ever been with a guy, he felt like he was gonna collapse. He's never been with anyone. He's what one would call a late bloomer. He shook his head.

"I've never been with anyone. You're the first person I've ever dated. So I haven't...you know... Have you?"

Colten looked at him as he kept that wolfish look on his features as he stared at him then nodded his head at the other saying his art work was almost done and the fact that he had to be super smart to do a paper. He would chuckle then loft a brow for a moment as he gave a smile. He heard the other say he was the first one he dated which means a inexperienced guy to work with the fun in that was very high on his list. He would shift in the chair as he chuckled some leaning toward him with a smile " I've dated other's before quiet a few actually." he stated as he shrugged some then tilted his head to the side.

 

" I have also been with people sexually so I will answer any and all questions you have with all honesty." He said as he took a sip of his drink the sat the cup down with a smile letting his eyes wander over the other curiously " So why did you decide to be a late bloomer in the dating ring? Your very attractive I don't see why no girl or guy tried to get you in the past."

Abel stared at him wide-eyed. Amazed at the others prowess. He honestly only was attracted to his friend and the occasional girl or guy, but he didn't have the desire to act on his feelings. At that might he was conflicted. He wanted to be with Colten, but at the same time he wanted to just remain as friends.

"I can't really comment on that. That's pretty cool. I've never acted on my feelings towards someone."

 

He was tempted on taking Colten's offer of answering questions on sex, but he want sure he was reedy to ask such things.

"At the moment...I'm not ready to ask those types of questions, but I'll ask you when I'm ready."

He gave nervous smile. He finished his brownie and wiped his mouth with a napkin.

 

He thought long and hard in the question, but he shrugged. He had no idea why he never dated up to that point.

"I'm not really sure...most people assume I'm gay, but even then...only one guy asked me out, but when I was gonna give him my answer the bell rang and he thought I turned him down. He walked away and after that he never came up to me."

[Nikolas]

Colten smirked seeing how shy the other really was humored him greatly to no end to the point he wanted to laugh his ass off, he would stare at him for a long time with a chuckle as he nodded his head." Well lets put it this way your so innocent I wonder why no one has swooped in and taken you. But anyways we don't have to talk about relationship things." He said with a smile then shrugged as he went back to his paper.

 

"By the way we don't have to date unless you desire to you did only just met me last night." He said in a casual manner tilting his head to the side watching the other curiously.

Abel nodded. Agreeing with Colten. Though there were some things he wanted to say, but decided against it. He really wasn't sure himself about Colten said. If it was true about him being handsome...then he was satisfied and happy just being with him for the rest of his life.

 

He felt his chest tighten. Did Colten not want to be with him? Was he boring him? Or was it because of his inexperience?

"I really like you. I don't know if I wanna stop this. If you'd rather be with other people, I get it. We can stop before we get to attached."

Colten saw the emotions cross his features as he stared at him then blinked as he smiled sitting back in the chair with a grin. " I want you to know I do wish to be with you and I said what I did because I thought you weren't ready for a relationship. But friendship is a good start with these kinds of things." He said with a smile then leaned closer with a smile.

 

"You'll trust me over time and once you do then I'll want you to tell me that you wish to date me." He stated in a calm manner with a small smile.

Abel felt a tightness in his chest. He nodded. I guess he's right. I'm not ready. He thought.

"You're right. I guess I'm not ready."

He smiled, softly. He felt a bit relieved, the thought of disappointing Colten crossed his mind and nowtheyremained friends. He could be happy with that.

 

"I think you're a great guy and being friends doesn't sound bad. I like making friends, so I'm happy we get to remain as friends."

He felt nauseous and slightly disappointed.

" Don't tell me what I want to hear I want to know what's on your mind and heart." he spoke casually leaning forward gazing at him intently with a darken gaze smirking some he could tell something was off. He would pick up his lukewarm coffee taking a sip from it then sitting it back down to gaze over his paper. " I'd much rather like to know what you are thinking then for you to try and hide your true feelings from me Abel I hope you can understand that as well as the fact that I find you very attractive even though I am tossing myself in the friend zone at the moment. " He soon lifted his gaze to meet Abel's full on holding it with a darken look in his eyes.

 

" I am not one to force someone to do what they don't but I also don't like to make people feel that they have to hide what they really feel about any given situation that we have." he soon sat back placing his hand to his lips with a smile " I know you are worried about something and I can just tell." he could tell that he was going to push some buttons " Now I will tell you I will try and shoot for not being friend zoned in time once you've gotten to know me more then just one night. Plus I will say I found a great pleasure of sleeping with you last night you know." Colten smiled impishly

Abel flinched. He nodded. He hasn't meant to make Colten upset with his constant agreeing. He should be honest of what he us feeling, but he was unsure of how to do that.

"I'm sorry. I don't meant to be agreeing with you, it's just...I'm not sure of what I want. I want to be with you, I really like you, but...I don't know."

 

He looked at his hands. "You really know how to read me, am I an open book?"

He turned his attention to Colten. "You're a really great guy. It's hard seeing you as 'just a friend' so what should we do?"

He was nervous to hear what Colten would say. Was he not ready for being in a serious relationship?

He turned his attention to Colten. "You're a really great guy. It's hard seeing you as 'just a friend' so what should we do?"

He was nervous to hear what Colten would say. Was he not ready for being in a serious relationship?

Colten lenaed back in the chair that he was in smiling gazing at him " I say that is a bad habit agreeing with what everyone says to keep them happy." He stated calmly as he let his eyes wander over his body reading his body language as he smiled letting his lip twitch some.

 

" Now then as for reading you like a book I could say yes I am good at reading people by their body and facial expressions." he stated with a tilt of his head then moved to lean closer to him as he sighed some. " I wish to date you but I'd rather you be willing to do it. I say taking it slow maybe casual dates hm?" He offered out to him then he started to pack up his books and things standing up offering his hand to him " Come with me." He spoke casually as he looked him up and down.

 

" I say for now lets date but in a playful manner were not boyfriends yet just I take you out here and there we get to know each other respectfully. I learn your likes and dislikes, your desire and goals all the things you wish me to know about you personally."

Abel nodded. He felt much better. Taking things slow sounds right. He didn't want things to go too fast. If it came down to 'that' he wouldn't know what to do.

"Okay. Let's take things slow. I'm sorry about constantly agreeing, I'll try to be more open and tell you what I wasn't and stuff. But it's kinda hard."

 

He sighed in relief. He had a chance with Colten. That's all he really wanted was a chance.

"I'm glad you're giving me a chance. I really like you a lot and you giving me a chance is what I wanted."

He followed Colten closely. Unsure of where they were going.

He looked at Abel as he smiled then leaned closely to him to whisper in his ear " I am a guy of giving chances but I wish you to do the same with me." He said softly enough so only he could hear. He had a devilish look in his eyes but he pulled back with a smile.

 

" So what would be your dream first date Abel?" He asked looking over to Abel he wanted to charm him and make his fantasies come true."I wish to well make you happy and I'd like to make sure you have your dream first date hmm." he smiled like the deviant he was.

Abel blushed. He felt himself falling more and more for Colten. His sly behavior, his beautiful eyes and the way he smiles. He wants to learn more about him.

"Um...I-I've always fantasized of my first date to be a trip to a bookstore, then we'd go to a movie and maybe get ice cream or dinner together."

He felt kinda embarrassed saying it out loud.

 

"what about you? What would be your fantasy date?"

He was curious to learn his tastes and likes and dislikes.

[Nikolas]

He looked at Abel chuckling with a smile " Well lets do all of that go to a movie of your choice, dinner and have dessert." he said with a charming grin he loved how the other seemed shy and blushed a lot it was like a lure to him. He kept himself in check but he held his hand taking him back to the car with a smile. He would look over toward him lofting his brow for a the moment as he was asked about his dream date it threw him off normally he was the one that took people on dates so he took a moment to think.

 

" A date to the beach... maybe a romantic walk you know kinda cheesy like thing then we would go out to dinner at a nice little cozy restaurant after that maybe going to an amusement park to ride the ferris wheel where will laugh and talk about things." He looked over at him " Then I say the person i am on a date with we go home curl up by the fire place drink what we like then fall asleep talking about the day and how what we'd like to do to further our relationship."

[pandamonium]

Abel held tightly to Colten's hand. He felt his stomach flutter.

"Are we doing that now? Aren't you busy with homework and stuff?"

 

Hearing Colten tell him about the date he desired, made him feel really happy. He didn't know much about him, but he'd want to do anything to make him happy.

"We should do that. Maybe next Saturday? I'm not busy that day, unless you are then whenever you're not busy."

[Nikolas]

Colten stopped at his car with a smile then gazed at him curiously " Well lets see I can finish my paper once I am home tonight after that I'm pretty much free all night long." he smirked looking at Abel leaning toward him with a devious grin " Unless your far to busy today to do as you desired I mean we could go get dinner then catch a 10'oclock movie and then I buy us some ice cream that we can sit on your sofa and eat." he was smiling seeming sly like " Or my sofa which ever you like. " he would tilt his head to the side for a moment.

 

" Also I am not busy next saturday so I am pretty much free for the most part actually." He lofted a brow as he shrugged " You know I am actually free most saturdays and sundays how about you? Also if you want you can ask me anything I'll answer you so you know."
