Teesie
Not a word was muttered after the smaller, masked man's verbal expression. All was silent for a moment, the shifting of the Lieutenant Colonel breaking the silence. A smirk danced amongst the pale lips, before giving a small groan. What the other had spoken had really went in one at and out the other. Surely what the anonymous male, Veneto, spoke of was his personal observation, albeit to Isaan is all was worth that of garbage. "Hm," The snow haired male started, taking his personal knife and slowly grazing it against the table before him. "I can not seem to take that observation into account seeing as, no offense, you all are from the Neutral Zone; therefore that makes you slithering snakes. Disgustingly demonic. Isn't the genocide, taking your content into thought, exactly what you demons and fallens want. Since we Angels show prejudice.... This should be a problem for you. We'll be basically destroying and organization that you four stand so closely by. Am I correct? In that case...why are you here?" Isaan finished with an angry tone, the deadly gaze only being set on Veneto. The power from that man rubbed the Lieutenant in the wrong way. His emotions were being overwhelmed. Never could he remember the last time he's dealt with such useless feelings. The sound of doors opening had the chocolate orbs dart up. In stepped the man above all; Aheal Nimparon. The heavy sigh the older male released, was one that was all to familiar to Isaan. One of disappointment. "I apologize for not attending the meeting earlier. I knew that I had left you all in the hands of failure. Please....look over my son. We are more than happy to have your assistance. The Demoni is strengthing by the day, and we need to think quickly in order to stop them before they stop us. We could plan an ambush. I've been watching their activities lately, and it seems there has been a route to follow. I am more than likely able to pinpoint the next battle." Arish stared with not a word to say. He didn't really know much of what to respond. The importance was being here to devising a plan. Once that was over, he'll make sure that the hunters see to every aspect of what was needed. After the Demoni was destroyed....the hunt for Erin was back full force, not that it'll ever stop.
Guest cheshireArtist
Ruune had never been more thankful for the timely arrival of his father, never. It seemed as if he comment had ruffled Isaan’s feathers a bit, though it was purely unintentional on his side of things. Though it did show how many of the angels around them thought of the Neutral Zone and their people. Snakes, deceivers, liars...the list could just go on and on really. Before becoming a fugitive, the silver haired man had thought the same, but how couldn't he with it being shoved down his throat every two minutes. The masked man didn't respond though, knowing it was best not to spur on the other. Though, on the other hand, Kay seemed quite a bit pissed. “Listen here mister Hot-shot,” She nearly growled at the Angelic Lieutenant Colonel, “You think you know us all. Oh yes, the Neutral Zone, the place of deceivers and backstabbers, demons and misfits, but you are just going off stereotypes, and for that you are an idiot. If you thought us, ‘slithering snakes’, really stood by the Demoni of all things, we would be here trying to help you, the law officials, take them down? My God, you idiot...genocide is the last fucking thing we want. Veneto was just trying to make a point...fuck, kid, look at me, I’m fucking human, and I’m one of the Neutral Zone’s leaders! Why exactly would I stand by an organization that had been killing my kind? At least we don’t go around killing people who are different! Do you know how many children are orphans because-” “Enough Kay,” Angelo sighed, his fellow leader often let her emotions get the best of her in these types of situations...and after what happened to her husband due to these people he wasn’t surprised that she held some, if not a lot, of resentment for them. Sol’s death was a hard one to take...and with Kay loosing the baby soon after due to stress, Angelo was pretty sure she blamed the Hunters and Realm Officials for ruining her family. Poor woman was only 28 when it happened if the blond haired man remembered correctly, and Sol, a demon, just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the Hunters mistook him for another demon they were hunting. Horrible...simply horrible. Though, the half-angel was pretty thankful for Aheal’s timely arrival, or things might have gotten real ugly, real fast. “I apologize for my co-leader’s behavior, she had lost a lot during her time, and comments like that tend to rile her up,” The icy eyed man muttered with an apologetic look towards Aheal, though not at Isaan...kid was arrogant, and had much to learn to his opinion, “Now, sir, your idea of an ambush is interesting. Would you care to elaborate? The faster we get rid of the Demoni the faster things can go back to at least a semblance of peace.” More like an illusion, but it was more that he wished for things so go back to normal. Kay just huffed, and scowled, glaring at the young man that was Isaan Nimparon, and Veneto kept his eyes to the ground and his mouth shut at this point, but due to the tenseness of his tracker, Angelo assumed he might have been a little peeved. God knows Veneto doesn’t particular enjoy his opinions or points being brushed to the side like a piece of garbage. ooOOooOOooOOooOOooOOoo Meanwhile, in a place where those of questionable morals normally lurked, a brown haired man sat, leaning back in a leather chair, feet up upon a large desk of dark alder. Said man was average in the height department, but had a kind of roguish charm to him, with the scruff lining his chin and jawline, and easy going, yet sly smirk. With his sharp suit, and piercing, and cat-like green eyes he was also intimidating in a way, especially with rough scarring from years past marring an otherwise handsome face. Slim fingers were intertwined with each other in the mysterious man’s lap, and he stared to the other man across from him, the creaking from the ceiling fan above filling the other wise silent room. “So...do you have what I asked you to find?” A smirk crossed the taller, though younger man’s lips briefly, showing off white teeth, and honey eyes, sharp even behind oval glasses, lit with a slight deviancy. Darkly painted nails glistened ever so slightly in the singular light of the fluorescent bulb over head as he reached over the desk to hand a single, thick, manila file over to the cat-eyed man. “Hehe...only the best for the Conman King and his court.”
Teesie
Isaan stared to one place, eyes cast down with a lifeless gleam. It took nothing more than a few words from his father to discourage his whole being. With a deep breath, the Lieutenant pushed away from the table to step away. Chocolate orbs darted toward the official leader before once again averting away. With a bow to the room of participants, the snow haired Colonel made his leave. Upon exiting the door he spoke, "I do wish for you all to forgive me for my incompetent assistance, as well as my personal reasoning for not attending this meeting....nor war." At such words, Aheal gaze quickly flickered to his son with a burning anger. The other was being quite childish at the moment. Too emotional for the man's taste. " Such foolishness Isaan. You will attend the fight with us. I will fill you in later. Take your leave." The Colonel grew silent for a moment, a pair of grey eyes staring longingly to the figure. Without much of a word, the younger Nimparon gave yet another bow before dismissing himself. A fellow peer, under the command of Isaan, smiled slightly as he too stood to dismiss himself. Once the soul left the room, yet another member stood to dismiss themself. The cycle continued, with Aheal in pure, masked, rage. The average of twelve members had exited the contents of the meeting, all disciples of his son. One thing was for sure, those members were willing to risk their lives for Isaan, if at the hands of disobeying the realm God himself. It had happened many times before, with the Lieutenant present as his loyal angels died before his eyes just for his sake. After a moment of silence, the father of Veneto, and Isaan gave a sigh before glancing up to the remaining members. "I've seen the Demoni have a certain pattern in their reckless activity. The organization is the strongest amongst any other that we have ever encountered. I have the information of saying that the group have obtained mages. We, the official, have no such powers. That leaves us at a big disadvantaged as well, seeing as we lack in number also. What I believe is, to destroy targets easier, the Demoni is making themselves a magical bearer, so that no could escape; therefore able to kill many in a mere second. There is only so little stops the organization have left. That it why we need to act fast."
Guest cheshireArtist
Veneto watched his brother and the other angels leave the room with a small frown. Ever the rebel, aren’t you, Isaan? What a stubborn man his brother had become, though he always had been a bit stubborn. Though, his brother did seem to gather a loyal following. Ruune, with his analytical mind, couldn’t help but store that tidbit of information away for later uses. He may have been hanging around certain conmen and information dealers a bit too much lately and picked up a few of their habits. Thankfully the useful ones at least. Though, what his father said next seemed to draw everyone away from the spectacle. “The organization is the strongest amongst any other that we have ever encountered. I have the information of saying that the group have obtained mages...What I believe is, to destroy targets easier, the Demoni is making themselves a magical bearer, so that no could escape; therefore able to kill many in a mere second.” “Interesting…,” Angelo hummed, choosing not not mention what had just occurred, “But no surprise. You see, we’ve been keeping an eye on the Demoni ever since they were small fry, so the news of Mages among them is hardly a surprise. Considering the fact that I am a battle Mage myself it is even less of a surprise on my end. Though, the magical bearer...well, that would take a lot of power, thus a lot of Mages. Mages take a long time to train to get to such a level...for example, Veneto here had been training to be a Mage for...hmm...seven, or eight years, and is still considered an novice. And this bearer you speak of, well, it would require Mages of a certain type, depending on the type of bearer. Listen, allow us to find out this certain information before we move onto battle plans. We have a great many hackers, and informants at our disposal, Sir Nimparon. If you give us at least two weeks we can definitely get the information you need...there is no need to just jump into this head first.” The half-angel hoped the full Angel in front of him would listen to reason. He would need to get Jackal B., and man’s young, but raising in skill protege on the job, and, from what he could tell glancing over at Kay, she would be getting on the job as well. This was big news indeed. He hoped they would not underestimate the power of the Neutral Zone, as so many seem to do...because, in the end, it would prove to be a mistake on their end to loose their alliance and less than legal resources. ooOOooOOooOOooOOooOOooOOoo “Good, good,” Jackal B. nearly purred, smirk becoming wider as he opened the folder and scanned over it’s contents. He let out a low whistle, and tucked the documents safely back up. “Good job, kiddo,” He grinned, turning to the filing cabinet behind his desk to put away the new information in it’s proper place, “This is some sensitive shit, big Official and Hunter shit...you being careful over there, kid?” “As careful as a hacker posing as a computer technician can be,” The freckled man replied, leaning on his fist and looking over at his mentor of sorts with half lidded eyes, gold eye-shadow glittering in the dim light ever so slightly behind his glasses, “By the time the pigeons realize I will no longer be suspect since I will have long moved onto the next job.” “Hehe...you learn rather fast,” The Conman King chuckled, “You sure you’re half angel, and not half demon...Neci?” As said half-angel laughed, and shrugged, he always figured he was more sinner than saint at heart. The ones before him was none other than the Neutral Zone. The leaders of their own organization, one that the Official leader wasn't too informed on. For such a group of lower status to have mages was a bit surprising, albeit never enough. With Veneto having trained so many years and still considered a novice was beyond belief. How hard was it to become a mage. If that was the case, either the Demoni was a lot stronger than thought, or there were so pretty knowledgeable, elder demons on the team. Giving an exhale, not liking the thoughts of that, the father of the twins gave a slight nod. "Never do I plan to run into a battle without a strategy, that isn't our way. However, I did say we have to act fast. I can not promise you two weeks, but I will be patient with you." The elder Nimparon spoke, lime green orbs zeroing in on Veneto after stating the privilege. --Seven or eight years, huh? That is the same time my son disappeared. Damn, I've been living so long without him. In that time period, this male must have begun training. Time consuming. With that the leader had a question. It was one that he didn't really wish to ask aloud, albeit....- With long strides Aheal approached Angelo, standing beside the man's chair, back to his party. Without turning his head, he glanced down to the half angel. " I have a question," Voice low so that most couldn't hear. "is there by any chance that you know of a man named Ruune Nimparon? I've been living without my son for a while now. The last hope that he's alive would be that he was accompanying the Neutral Zone. It is a lot to ask for, seeing as I doubt he will be there, albeit...I believe in miracles." The official leader spoke, turning to face his party once more as he awaited the answer. Guest cheshireArtist
Angelo was happy with the allotted time, at least they would have the opportunity to do some digging. Though he was surprised when the Official Leader walked over to him. The blond was thrown for a bit of a loop with the asked question. Indeed, he knew this was his tracker’s father, though, Veneto was not exactly one to talk about his childhood, and family. So, the half-angel assumed that Ruune’s home-life was a bit like his own when he was younger. Distant parents, yet pressuring parents, and all that jazz. To his own father Angelo was nothing really more than the heir to the Lux family, and was to make his family proud at all costs. That was the source of many teenage breakdowns...something he really did not to recall. He would just like to say he was much happier with his life now with his team and husband. All and all, he was surprised by Aheal’s question, though he did not allow it to show. “Personally,” He began quietly, “I do not know a man of that name...but the Neutral Zone has a lot of citizens, Sir Nimparon...I will let you know if I do.” Bold faced lie, since the man with said name was sitting with them right now, but Angelo was an expert in the lying gig. He didn’t want to crush the man’s hope in finding his lost son...he would not rest easy at night if he did. Veneto tensed ever so slightly, catching his father’s question since he was sitting rather close by. But he tried to remain as if he never heard it at all. It warmed his heart a bit, though, that his father still cared so much for him, and was still looking for him. It was still a problem with that, though...Ruune didn’t exactly want to be looked for. He would have to be carefuller in public now. Angelo gave a small nod to an anxious Kay, who coughed a little to gain some attention to herself. “Sir, it would be best if we were to go right now, and give our people the word to look for Demoni information and shit, the sooner the better. Inshort, I think we should be wrapping this meeting up, and all that jazz,” She said, wanting to just go home now. Anyways, it made sense for them to go now, and alert their hackers and informants as soon as possible. Angelo sighed and rolled his eyes a little, and added, "Though I do not agree with that way Kay put it, I do agree we need to wrap things up, Sir Nimparon...would you like to arrange an other meeting at the end of next week to report out progress?" Teesie
Aheal gave a nod to Angelo, glancing once more to Veneto before waltzing back to his seat. There wasn't much else he could do of the situation. With that information, the father was sure that his son no longer living. The half angel was the ruler of the Neutral Zone, surely he knew of everyone in his territory. The words spoken was just that of comfort. "Thank you all for your service." The eldest Nimparon stated, giving a deep gratitude to Angelo with a knowing glance to the man. "I will send a official to the Neutral Zone when I am to arrange another meeting. Til then....I'll dismiss this meeting." Linking his fingers and staring to a place on the oak table. Deep in thoughts. Arish glanced to the the leader of the officials and frowned slightly. This was the man that was above the Hunter organization. The one that his father had to fall under. The pure angels that was called to carry out a job when they couldn't. For a moment he wondered was he stronger than the man. Aheal surely was intimidating, albeit it never stopped Arish impulsive nature. The ranks of officials was higher than those of Hunters. Never had they had to answer to one another personally. At least that was a relief. With a hum of annoyance, the dark haired half angel stood to exit the room. So the plan was to stop the Demoni before it was too late. He was sure to relate the message to the rest of his team. What he couldn't understand at the moment was the relationship built upon the alliance. After it was all over....what would happen? Would it go back into a world of destruction of angels waring with demons. Demons preying upon angels because of jealousy, while angels lead that of what they called justice.
