"Hmm? Just a little. I used to buy them when I was in junior high. Now the store that sells these near my school is long gone." he said taking one and handing it first to Fai, then taking his piece before paying them. He made a huge bite that echoed with crunch before mewling with delight. "Mmmh~! God they're good. Thank you, ma'am!" he waved at the vendor before holding it to his mouth and heading off. "Hold on tight, k?" he muffled. As if it was a hidden skill, Damien could munch on it hands-free as he held onto the steering wheel, though, leaving some crumbs on his cheeks.

Soon after, they arrived back home, Damien putting the bike away and grinning back at Fai. "I'm glad I came with you today. I get to see where you used to live and who you were with." he said, putting his hands on his waist. "Although I didn't like that Nishijima dude. I don't know. There's some weird, heavy air that surrounds him."

Fai looked at the other as he glanced at the fried food before him. "Uh, I don't think I should eat this." he said softly before getting back upon the bike. He decided to hold onto it as they went home. Once there he gave it to Damien. "You should have mine. This way you can enjoy your favorite treat a little more. I'm going inside to rest. Today was a bit stressful. Thank you again for coming with me. I'll be forever in your debt before I realize it." he said slowly entering the house. He took off his shoes and headed up the stairs with his shoes in one hand and the box in the other. Fai seemed distant now to the other. He got to his room and entered it. He sat upon the floor just wanting to ease his thoughts. He had a few days before going back to school. He had too much on his mind before then.

Damien's eyes followed the other as he held the treat in his hand. He looked down at the food before following Fai. He didn't mean to spoil things because of something he didn't want to eat. He followed Fai upstairs but Mrs. Rowan stopped him, asking if he'd be having dinner with his family. "I'm sorry... I'm not that hungry. I guess Fai won't have some too." he then excused himself and followed the younger male. Pausing at the door, he frowned seeing the other so down and depressed.

"Was it because he was an important person in your life? And that you have to leave him?" he asked, his voice ring sadness to it. He didn't know why he had that sense of hatred towards that man. Maybe because Nijima had been with his brother first before he ever did... an outsider... He felt jealousy creeping under his skin.

Fai shook his head a bit. "I guess it's just more disappointment and confusion. He was so kind and I trusted him. I looked up to him as he was helping my mother with so much. He's is a teacher at the school I attend and became a tutor just to aid me. So I guess it just hurts to have to up and leave that place." he said softly. Fai glanced at Damien. "Though it's hard to stay there feeling the way I do around him. It's like since my mother isn't around his gaze freaks me out. It's like he's undressing me with them. Plus sometimes the things he say sound way out of line. At first I assumed it was my imagination but waking up with him suddenly in my bed cuddling me drew the line." he said closing his eyes.

Damien froze, gritting his teeth as his anger for the man grew stronger from Fai's story. How dare he to make such advances to his brother? He wanted to comfort Fai at the moment. But at the back of his mind, something tells him he has somehow violated his brother the same way Nijima did. Oh, the way he looked at Fai when he changed his clothes in front of him was unforgivable in which inappropriate thoughts entered his mind. He looked down and stepped back, feeling as guilty as he should be. Now he's really confused about his feelings now. His own brother! He closed his eyes and stepped back, grabbing hold of the door handle. "I am truly sorry to hear that." his voice broke in the middle of his sentence. "Nijima... made a foolish act... He shouldn't have broken your trust like that."

Fai looked at him. "I guess you have a point. Though if he hadn't broken my trust I'd never have had a reason to come here. Thus no brother bonding for us. Call it fate fixing the things of the past. Besides, I trust you so it makes me feel better." he said getting up and taking hold of Damien's hands. "I really wish I could rewind time. I use to get jealous of all the kids in my elementary class talking about things they did with their siblings. Ugh, why can't we be young again." he said walking to his bed still holding Damien's hand. "I do know one thing we can do. Stay up telling ghost stories till we fall asleep." Fai said happily. He was doing his best to forget today a little. He wanted to bond with Damien more.

He could not deny his brother's hand on him as he was led back inside, closing the door behind them. He stood there in front of Fai with sad eyes, trying to convince himself that what he feels could be just a mere longing for a brother. Someone whom you'd grow up with playing outside together, a helping hand, your first best friend in your lifetime. That chance never came, until now. He pulled off a grin, sitting next to the younger male, sighing.

"Alright. I know one story. Actually, this is from my old preschool back in Hong Kong. The people there have some really creepy ones." he said, not even letting go of the other's hand. He brought his feet up and crossed them in front of him. Breathing deeply, he tried to recall one of his scariest experiences in that foreign land. "There was this one time my babysitter was late in picking me up from school. It took her until 6pm to get there so it was pretty much dark. Then on our way home, she saw a dark figure standing at the side of an alley ahead of us. She said she couldn't see its face until we got closer to the alley. I was oblivious at that time because I was eating my ice cream." he chuckled and then his tone got serious, looking straight at Fai's eyes, whispering the rest of the words for effect. "Then she saw the person's face drenched with blood. Her hair sticking on her face because of the blood. It was then that she realized the woman... didn't have a jaw..."

Fai smiled as Damien was going to go first. He listened closely as he wanted to hear it. He was surprised the other had been in Hong Kong for elementary. It sounded like an amazing experience. He'd ask about it later but now was story time. He shivers a bit as he looked at him. "No way! I'd be unable to sleep for week let along sleep without lights on. I shall note Hong Kong at night is creepy." he said chuckling lightly. "Alright I have one. It happen last year to be honest." he said trying to set the mood.

"A couple of students got dared to go into the old gym building at exactly midnight. I tagged along as the recorded witness. This way no one could chicken out. Once the inside, the clock struck twelve and things got seriously silent. The temperature seemed to drop where it felt like winter. Just as we were about to run a loud shriek rang out and we dashed out. At one point I felt something touch my ankle." he said looking at him. "When we got outside I looked at my ankle as it felt odd. Left in the place was what appeared to be the marks of fingers. Till this day its still there." he said showing Damien his ankle. The marks were there just as his story.

His eyes grew wide and the sides of his mouth twisted from disbelief. When the other finished his story and showed him the finger-like marks, he gasped. "Oooh, that is some evidence." he exclaimed, letting his finger brush lightly against the wound. "Whoa. This is creepy. Maybe a curse got transferred to you from this scar." he teased the other a bit.

"It's funnier since it's only a birthmark. The story is true but it turned out to be a broken air vent and the janitor falling down. That was all it was. Though we had the whole school believing our story for about a week. So no ghost or anything like that." he said laughing a bit. Fai found this time special. His gaze upon the other as he leans his head on Damien's leg. "So how about another story unless you want to do something else. I think we are too old to go exploring about the house." he said happily

"What? And here I am, almost believing you!" he laughed, crinkling his nose and forehead from it, though it quickly disappeared when Fai leaned his head against his leg. He blushed lightly, feeling a little awkward from the other's position. "Uhm.. Y-yeah I guess we're too old to explore the house and it's not even that great of a place to explore to begin with. It's just a huge but normal house, that's all." he said. Damien sighed, leaning back on his right arm as his other hand strayed on the younger boy's head, stroking on the dark strands of Fai's hair. "Your hair is so soft. I like it." he whispered, chuckling afterwards.

Fai glanced up at him with a blush upon his cheeks. "Oh is that so. I never use anything special on it so maybe it's natural." he said thinking about it a little. "Oh so my big brother wants to study in New York. Does my big brother have a girlfriend?" he asked chuckling. He was curious since he knew most people their age had some form of companion. Fai didn't since his entire time was spent studying and learning. His mother had every ounce of his time consumed so he never had time to date. Plus his interest in the opposite gender never seemed to pique.

"Well... yeah. That was my dream, to study architecture in New York. But It's still just a dream. I don't even know if I am that sure. Damien looked sideways as he answered Fai's other question, blush appearing slowly on his cheeks. "I've never had a girlfriend before. People always wonder why. I just think they're a major distraction in my studies and none of them took my interest. How about you?" he asked. "I know I asked you this before, but you never gave me a proper answer."

Fai closed his eyes. "Ah I see. I'm sure you'll make you dreams come true. Don't worry too much" he said softly. Fai pouts a bit as the other asked him. "Well not exactly. I made friends and people asked me out before. Though my mother was so busy perfecting me I never had time to say yes. Besides, girls are very confusing so I rather just study." he said with a sigh. He reached his hands up and touched Damien's cheeks. "You sure are shy. Your cheeks take on a pink shade depending on what we talk about."

"Well, yeah." he pouted, gently pulling away from the younger male's hand. "I would be very much shy of not having any sort of experience in girls since I am already at this age..." he looked away, still pouting. "Like kissing or hugging... Or even sex but I wasn't really ready for anything like it so. I just like the fact that I don't have to make an effort to please someone, you know?" he sighed. "Plus, yeah, I agree with you. Girls are difficult to deal with." he chuckled, shaking his head in dismay.

Fai giggled as he looked at him. "I wonder if it's alright to think that way. I mean we will have to date a girl someday. I wish dating was so simple. Just date the person you seriously like. The one who masked your heart race and puts a smile upon you face. Someone who can take a rainy day and turn it into a fun day. Do you think we will ever find someone as perfect as that?" he asked Damien.

Damien didn't answer his question. For now, he didn't want to think about that. All he know is that he wants to give all of his attention to his brother and no one else. He carefully hold the other's head, placing a pillow under it as he lay his own near the other's, facing him. "Let me sleep beside you?" he whispered, feeling tired and beat. "Let's just not talk about girls anymore..." he closed his eyes, sighing.

Fai looked at Damien as he now lay beside him. "Sure thing! I don't mind at all." he said softly as he lowered his gaze. He wasn't all that tired but he didn't mind that the other was. This was something he could enjoy. He closed his eyes as he laid there silently. He wonders if they would be this close if they had more time to actually bond as children. He was curious if they were this close because they lacked the bond of childhood. His thoughts slowly fading as he fell asleep

Morning came by as Damien was the first to wake up. He felt unbelievably relaxed even though they didn't change their clothes as soon as they got home. He smiled, seeing his brother's sleeping face next to him. It was a weekend so it would be fine to sleep in for a while. Damien snuggled in the pillow, basking the lazy morning, staring closely on Fai's face. It was a perfect way to start his day... Then he remembered what the other had said last night. The one who makes your heart race and puts a smile upon you face. Someone who can take a rainy day and turn it into a fun day. He closed his eyes and sighed deeply, burying his face on the pillow. His heart raced, not with anticipation but just because of this moment alone. As he pondered on those words, Damien realized he's in too deep...

Fai continued to slumber as the other was awake. He was more tired than he had first thought. As he laid there he was dreaming of the days spent with his mother. Though he never had fun, just those moments with her was enough for him. He opened his eyes feeling a pain in his chest. He deeply missed her no matter how mature he acted. His gaze drifting over to Damien. He didn't want the other to see his crying ace so he rolled over facing the opposite direction. He laid there silently hoping Damien didn't realize he was awake yet.

Damien lifted his head, seeing the other had shifted into a different position. Now facing Fai's hair, he sighed leaning in to give the other a good morning kiss on the back of his head. Fai's hair even smells good early in the morning. This is all he could do. This is all he's allowed to do when it comes to touching his brother. Simple hugs, head laying on laps and simple kisses on the head. Nothing more... he thought. Standing up, Damien decided to go back to his room to get ready for the day, grabbing some change of clothes and a towel before hitting the shower.

Fai didn't make any sudden movements as he continued to fake sleep. Once Damien left the room he slowly sat up. Taking a deep breath and wiped his eyes. "I suppose I should prepare for today as well. Who knows what we will end up doing." he said glancing out the window. It was a wonderful day with lovely weather. Fai walked to the door wondering if his brother was in the bathroom or his room. he slowly walked down the hall to find out. He got to the bathroom door and lightly knocked upon it. While standing there he glanced about. He noticed since yesterday he hadn't seen Damien's mother or their father. He wonders if they had only came back to say what they did.

The raven-haired male was in the middle of shampooing his hair when someone knocked on the door. He clicked his tongue, washing himself off the suds before wrapping his waist around. "What is it?" he asked as he opened the door halfway. "I'll be out in a few minutes. What's up?" he asked, wiping the water off his face, not minding being wet and half naked in front of Fai.

Fai's cheeks took upon a pink hue. He averted his gaze as he slowly back up. "No need to rush on my account. I just was curious if you were in the shower or not. Take your time and let me know when you are finished alright." he said before slowly going back to his room. It was surprising but he didn't expect to blush seeing his brother like that. It was an odd reaction nevertheless. Fai couldn't explain it yet he didn't find it too weird.

Damien blushed and closed the door behind him, finishing his shower. He leaned against the wall, letting the water run down his body. The water was cold, but his body is telling otherwise. Damn it... he thought. He quickly finished his shower, drying off and putting just his pants on. He knocked on Fai's room and peeked a bit. "Fai. You can use the shower now." he said, not bothering to stay out there for long and went back to his room. He paused for a bit, wondering what they should do today. "Fai need some more clothes... We should go get some shopping done." he murmured, picking a red fitting graphic t-shirt to go with his semi-skinny jeans and black Chucks. He looked rather casual, but the way the clothes fit his frame was perfect in its most simple yet sexy way.
