Fai glanced back at the door from the bed. He slowly got up and walked towards the door, opening it. He then made his way towards the bathroom. Once inside he sighs softly. He glanced at himself in the mirror. He was about to shower when he realized something seriously important. He had nothing with him currently. From natural toiletries to everyday causal wear. He only had the outfit Damien bought him yesterday and the one he had wore here in the rain. Gritting his teeth a bit he walked out the bathroom and back to his room. He glanced at the lock box he had gotten. He hadn't opened it as he didn't need anything from it as of yet. Fai laid on the bed feeling down now.

"Fai? Ah there you are." Damien smiled, fixing his damp hair, giving the other some clothes to use for today. Over-all, he looked casual. It was a different look ever since Fai saw him in dress shirts and his uniform and black leather shoes. "Let's go shopping for more clothes for you. You need them. And lots of things too like things for school yeah?" he brought his phone out, tapping on the screen making a list of what they should buy. "Let's also bring the car with us. I'm sure we'll have to carry a lot of em when we get back." he grinned, excited to have some bonding with his brother again.

Fai glanced back a little as he frowns. "I'll skip the shopping trip. Its troublesome having to do things this way. I appreciate you wanting to help but I don't feel right letting you keep buying me things. I didn't come here to be spoiled by you or anyone. It feels seriously wrong and its bothering me to the core." he said continuing to lay there. Fai felt like he was mooching off them which wasn't what he wanted to do. "I'll figure out something. Until then I want to avoid you spending anything else on me." he said.

Damien frowned. He felt down knowing the other only thinks of this as spoiling him. "It's not like that..." he whispered, looking down. "This is not like that at all. Fai... all we wanted was for you to have a comfortable life. The life that we were never able to give you when you weren't living with us. And now you're here, look how hard i'm trying to fix those shortcomings. I know it's all material things now. But can't you see? I want life to be easy for you from now on because we're a family. And more than that, I want us to have fun while we do that." he looked away, scratching the back of his head, sighing a bit in disappointment. "I just want to be with you more, whatever it is we're doing. And to have those precious memories is far more better than buying all these material things in this world."

Fai sat up to look at his brother. He listened to him before realizing maybe he was over-thinking things. He stood up and pat his head a little. "Fine but only the things I honestly need. Nothing more than that. Then maybe we can buy ice cream, share a creepe in the park and feed the ducks." he said naming some things they could do together. Fai slowly hugs Damien leaning his head upon his shoulder. "Your too sweet to me. I'll start to get clingy if you are." he said before letting go. "I'll go shower and get dressed. Give me a moment."

It's like digging my own grave. The more I get closer to him as his brother, the more I fall deeper. These were the words that kept echoing in his mind. He held Fai close when they hugged-- a part of him melted inside. He was oblivious about such facts, but these small guilt he feels every time is now starting to pile up deep inside him. "Okay. I'll go wait at the garage to check the car." he smiled, taking his leave.

Nodding his head, he made his way back to the bathroom. Fai showers and then gets half dressed. He stared at himself in the mirror letting out a sigh. This was seriously becoming an awkward living situation for him. He didn't know how to handle it at all. He was kind o use to working for the things he needed. His gaze drifting around as he was just about to put on the shirt when he stopped. Fai turned sideways to glance at his back. He really should have found a way to properly deal with it. Though it looked really bad now. "I hope it isn't infected. Damn it..!" he grunts as he pulled on the shirt and fixed himself properly. Once satisfied with his appearance, Fai walked out the bathroom and went to find Damien.

"Ready?" Damien smiled brightly before starting the engine. The family car was a black 4x4 SUV which had been with them for about three years. "If you want to learn how to drive, i'll teach you some time." he said, putting the seat belt around him before adjusting everything. "Okay. Uh... Let's go to the nearby mall for the clothes, then I know a place where they sell the yummiest crepes at lunch, okay?" he smiled, really looking forward for this day.

Fai smiled as he looked at him. "I know how to drive but not a car. I use to ride a motorcycle. A friend taught me." he said softly. He pulled the seatbelt on and glanced out the window. "Very well then. Lead the way big brother. You seem to have today all planned out which is nice. Maybe we should plan a day at the beach or something." he said just thinking out loud.

"Alright~" Damien drove nearly a mile to reach the mall, chatting with Fai along the way. It was really fun and enjoyable. He wasn't like that with his friends at all but his fun, outgoing side came out naturally. They visited a few shops and bought Fai new sets of clothes, some basic dress shirts and pants, t-shirts that suited the male's tastes, jeans and shoes. He grinned at the boy, holding the bags at once. "Trust me, they're necessities. On to the next shop?"

Fai went shopping with Damien. It was seriously weird since he felt they were getting too much. He found a small shop where he purchased a toothbrush and some shampoo for his hair. He enjoyed things cherry scented so even down to his soap was such a fragrance. He continued his day with his brother finding it fun. "So what would you like to do after all this shopping? Also I want to know what your school is like." he said softly

Damien smiled, looking around for that shop that sells wonderful crepes. "Hm? I'm trying to find that crepe place. Where is it...?" he pouted, scanning the area. "Honestly, I don't do much shopping myself. This is a rare occasion. Although when I do, I go with my friend Andrew. He's one of my best buddies at school who totally understands me whenever I get cranky or out of the mood. He goes to my school too. Shizuoka Academy. Ah! There!" he pointed out happily, rushing towards a what seems to be an outdoor restaurant. He pulled a metal chair and let their bags sit there, waving at Fai to hurry up. "Shizuoka Academy is a co-ed private school which has high standards and great facilities. I love our library. That's where I mostly hang out." A waiter approached them, handing them both the menu. Damien smiled and quickly scanned the list. "Wow, strawberry snow ice, waffle with ice cream on top, double chocolate slush! I can't choose. What would you like to eat, Fai?"

Fai followed behind Damien while listening. He could tell the other was enjoying today. As he watched the other search for the shop, Fai looked around at the other places. There was many places here he could find interesting. Nevertheless it didn't show upon his face that they were of interest. Once the shop was found he walked over taking a seat. His gaze drifting down a bit. "A co-ed school...? What's that like?" he asked him. His school was an all boy's type so he was curious. Upon receiving the menu, Fai looked at his brother. "There are so many choices. It's a first for me to see this many different flavors. I'm not sure which to pick."

"Co-ed... with both boys and girls mixed in the school. It's like any normal high school, you know." he took a sip on the cold water the waiter had brought them. It was sunny outside and the park around them gives them a very nice view to relax. "Although they offer some minor courses for the advanced students to take.. Like a prep school for college. I'm taking the prep class for architecture but alas! My drawing skills are mediocre. You saw them in my sketchpad." he frowned. "They don't sell crepes here!" he exclaimed disappointingly.

Fai looked at his brother as he glanced to the side. "Well I'm sure with practice you can draw with ease. Just don't think about it too much. Art isn't meant to cause frowns but to express feelings and emotions. Why not try to take art lessons? I could always teach you what I know if you'd like." he suggests as he looked to the side. He wonders if co-ed schools are much more enjoyable than an all gender school. He didn't dislike the school he attends but the curiosity was there. His gaze drifting to Damien. "Anyway, so what else do you have planned for today? I want to learn more about my older brother. Plus I am having fun even if I was never one who enjoyed shopping. Spending time with you has made it a bit enjoyable." he said to him

"Sure! I would like us to practice drawing some time." the raven-haired male smiled, hoping this would deepen their connection. As the other asked him more about himself, Damien blushed and looked away. Those words meant so much to him. "I'm... I'm glad you enjoyed today." he said, brushing his hair with his fingers. "Know more about me? Well... What you see is what you get, I guess. I'm a spoiled brat who takes joy on material things. I have few friends who tolerates me and my selfishness. I guess I'm a horrible person if you ask their opinion." He looked down twirling the phone on his hand.

Fai tilts his head a bit as he listened to Damien. "I see, well to be honest I don't get that from you. You do seem a bit spoiled and you sure enjoy material things. Though I get something more than that. Maybe its because I am your brother and not just a simple friend." he said trying to piece together his words. "In my opinion, you are very caring and sweet. You concern yourself with other's and worry about them. To me you are a very kind person and far from selfish." he said with a smile. He really felt that way about his brother.

He sighed deeply, looking down before he thought of something that brightened his face. "You know what? Let's go. I know a place where we could rest. And what would you like for lunch? We'll have to go for a take out though." he smiled, pulling the bags with him. "How does pizza sounds?" he asked the younger male.

Fai stood up to follow after Damien. He nods his head as he found the other rather energetic. "Uh, sure pizza sounds delicious. Plus we could watch a movie or anime if we take the pizza home with us. I honestly can't get enough of this brotherly bonding this. I guess its just my overall joy of connecting with people. Its so much fun." he said as he looked at the sky. Fai couldn't help but feel happy. It was so long since he last actually felt this much joy in himself. He wanted to make sure to never be separated from Damien.

"Alright." he said, walking back to the car. "Let's just order pizza on our way home so when we get back, it's already there. Good?" he smiled. As soon as they got to the car, he settled the things down, waiting for Fai before driving off. He was happy to spend time with his brother today and hopefully, the other won't feel anything less than having fun whenever they're together.

 

The two arrived home half an hour later but Damien was surprised when he saw a familiar figure standing on the doorsteps. The young male was blond, about Fai's height and dresses pretty quirky. "Shun! W-what are you doing here?" Damien asked, carrying the shopping bags with him. "Ah, Damien~! I was calling you! I came over to hang out. Ah. Who's that?" the blue-eyed blond asked, smiling at Fai. "I'm Shun Hamao, Damien's friend. Nice to meet you~"

Fai got into the car with his brother. After buckling up he thought his plan was a perfect idea. He was silent most of the ride home. His mind on thinking of other ways to connect with Damien. As the car ride slowly came to an end,Fai noticed someone outside the front door. His first thought was the pizza actually arrived perfectly on time. Though his guess was incorrect as it appeared Damien knew the male. He glanced at the blonde not sure how to answer his question. "Hello my name is Fai Wright. Its an honor to meet a friend of Damien's." he said politely. Fai was thinking this carefully through. He did wish to spend some time with just Damien. Though he also saw this as another learning experience. A chance to find out more about Damien that only his friends knew of. This was exciting for him.

Damien rolled his eyes upon seeing Shun. "No you didn't call. You just really like surprising me. Fai, this is my friend, Shun. Shun, that's Fai. My half brother. He's going to stay here for good, so be nice to him. Come on inside, pizza will arrive soon." The blonde jumped in delight. "Pizza?! Perfect timing for me, huh?" he giggled, pulling Fai inside and up to Damien's room.

 

"Wow, you did a lot of shopping today!" the blonde said, sitting on the edge of Damien's bed, taking his shoes off. He seemed to be at home and Damien doesn't mind at all. Damien sighed and turned the tv on. "Yeah those are all Fai's clothes and shoes. Since he's staying here now, he needed some things to use. Fai, what do you want to watch?" he asked, flipping on the channel for some anime to watch.

Fai was a bit confused by this sudden unexpected energy. The male seemed so eased in Damien's place. He didn't understand it all that much. For Fai; he still felt on edge being in such a house. His gaze drifted towards Shun. He couldn't figure it out just by looking. Although it was apparent Damien didn't mind him being here at all. "Uh, anything is fine by me. I rarely get to have such down time so you can pick something." he said still wondering how to interact with Shun. This was like a wall he was trying to get over. He wonders if being too formal could ruin is chance to learn something here. Fai's casual way of speaking wasn't all that well put together. It only ever happened when he wasn't focused on actually speaking properly.

Damien picked an action adventure themed anime and gave the remote control to Fai. "Here. Ah i think the pizza's here. Shun, behave, okay?" he narrowed his eyes on the blond boy. "Yeshhir!" he grinned. He looked a Fai and blinked before smiling sheepishly. "So you two are half brothers?" he asked. "Oh, how I wish I have a brother like Damien. He's so good-looking, rich and intelligent. What more can you ask for?!" he held his hands close and sighed. "You're very cute too, Fai. You both have the same lips." he grinned, reaching out to touch Fai's lips with the tip of his finger. "Ah so soft-looking!"

Fai took hold of the remote as he watched Damien leave the room. His gaze drifted over towards Shun. "Yeah I suppose you can say that. Damien treats me like a full on brother though. So half is just a thing." he said softly. His tilts his head a bit. "You don't have siblings or do you just wish they were like Damien?" he asked. He found the reasons Shun pointed out to be a bit odd in some ways. "I suppose intelligent is a good quality but your good looking too. So its not just him. Plus I don't think being rich matters. Damien is still human." he said trying to properly reply on this. Fai felt his cheeks heat up a bit. His eyes upon Shun. "Wait a minute. You think I'm cute? Also how would you know what my brother's lips feel like?" he asked before feeling the other's finger upon his lips. Fai wasn't sure what to do. This was slightly awkward yet he didn't want to do anything rude. what also bothered him was just the exact relationship between this blonde and his brother.
