Jun nods his head and blinks, watching how Kiet was reacting and shakes his head, "try to relax okay? It is very painless.. so.. um before I make you feel more uneasy.. is there anything you want to do or anything else you want to know about me? Or maybe you want me to know something about you."

[Kotorichan]

"No... I just... I was just thinking that it would be good to get to know each other since we'll be working together... But I guess it can wait until tomorrow, since it isn't anything urgent..." Kiet didn't want to be here another minute. He could handle being uncomfortable and around people all the time. But if he was going to be brainwashed he couldn't stay. He needed to get out as soon as possible.

Jun looks at Kiet, seeing he was getting paranoid about the brainwashing and shakes his head, "please try to relax.. it doesn't happen to all psychics, only some have to endure the brain washing and its not like they removed anything that I didn't want them to remove. Before the brainwashing, I was asked if I wanted any memories removed and which ones I want to keep. Of course I kept the happy memories.. and removed the bad ones. So if there is anything you want to be removed, they will do it."

[Kotorichan]

"That's still horrible... Your experiences shape who you are. If I forgot about all my bad experiences then I wouldn't remember anything and I wouldn't be myself anymore... How could they do they? And how do you know you wanted it?" Kiet was starting to get more worked up as he spoke, slowly raising his voice. "They brainwashed you! Maybe you just think you wanted it because they brainwashed you to think it!"

Jun nods his head slowly with a sigh, "well.. I guess that is true. Once it was done, I couldn't wrap my brain around anything. Within a couple of days, I was a complete empty shell until Eiji guided me.. I am not sure it was the good or bad path both whatever he did made me the way I am today," he rubs the back of his head. Jun jolts and sighs softly, nodding his head, "you.. might be right about that.. maybe they got rid of more then they said they got rid of, all I really remember is the ID card I protected with my life for some reason.. maybe that has the information on where I used to live."

[Kotorichan]

"I'm sorry" Kiet mumbled, barely loud enough to be heard. "I just need to go lay down for a bit to calm myself down..." He knew that he needed to leave this place. "I just don't understand how they could do that... If they really had your best interest in mind then they would have helped you accept bad memories... not just forget them all"

Jun looks at Kiet, really seeing how uncomfortable he was getting and lets out a sigh, rubbing his head, "well maybe we should both get some rest. Are you sure your well enough to travel back to your room? You can just stay here too you know," he rubs his eyes and looks at the clock. "Well truth is, they could do much worst things so compare to what they did, it was nothing compare to what could have done."

[Kotorichan]

"I guess so... That doesn't make it any better..." Kiet shook his head to get rid of the mental image of what could be worse. "I can make it back to my room... I'll see you tomorrow" he turned away and walked towards the door. "goodnight" He said finally before leaving the room.

Jun looks at Kiet and sighs, nodding his head, "they are still nice people though, don't let what I say make you have second thoughts." He rubs the back of his head and nods his head, "okay.. see you tomorrow, have a good night's rest," he waves to Kiet and lays down on his bed after he left his room.

Kiet quickly walked back to his bedroom and locked the door behind himself. He began to go through his few belongings, trying to decide what he needed to take. After some thought he just put his old clothes on over his protective suit, it would help him when he learned to use his powers on his own. He put his wallet in his pocket, which still had some money and an active bank card. Finally he left his room and snuck to the nurse's office. The boy filled his remaining pockets with the medicine that Jun once used to heal his wounds. He took a few deep breaths and silently left the building.

Within the next morning, Jun wakes up and notices Eiji hovering over him. He jolts and sighs softly, "u-um is everything okay sir?" Eiji moves away from Jun, "sorry if that was weird.. I had no idea when you were going to wake up," he rubs the back of his head. Jun shakes his head and stands up off the bed, "is something the matter? Why are you acting so strangely," as he starts putting on his jumpsuit. "I have a very important mission for you," Eiji rests himself on the wall and slicks the hair from his face. Jun looks at Eiji and tilts his head, "oh? Then should I go wake up Kiet?" Eiji shakes his head, "his room.. is empty, he wasn't there when I went to give him a wake up call... and that is your mission. See to it it gets done," Eiji walks out of the room. Jun finishes getting dress and sighs, ~all that talk about brainwashing must have scared him...,~ he thought as he finishes getting dress and walks of his room, ~but... I have no idea where he might go..,~ he thought as he rubs his head/

Kiet had no idea where he would go. He was too old to return to the orphanage, and he had already quit his old job and abandoned that apartment. He really had nowhere to return to... But he couldn't stay in a place that might brainwash him... Or worse. He had spent the night walking to the nearest city and exploring for a bit. There was a cheap looking motel that he could check into that night. He had enough money for three nights as well as food and a change of clothes from a thrift store. If he didn't eat too much and only stayed in a room every other night he could make it last longer. But it wouldn't be enough to get a job long enough to get a paycheck, if he could get something that would pay with tips... And something with a uniform. Kiet continued to walk through the town, looking for any 'help wanted' signs.

Jun walks out of the agency and rubs the back of his head with a sigh, ~I didn't mean to scare him.. I just wanted him to learn more about the agency, but I guess that was the wrong type of information. Now that I think about it... even bad memories are not really that bad but I was on the verge of forgetting them anyway. I guess they just wanted to do me a favor and get rid of them completely,~ he thought as he didn't really look were he was going, walking into a town. Jun perks his head up as he heard a bunch of chatter and looks around, ~oh.. I am in town? Maybe Kiet is here,~ he thought as he starts looking around, starting to get mix emotions about the agency himself.

Kiet picked up job applications for a few different places before checking into the cheapest motel he could find. He filled out the applications and then went out to returned them. He tried to keep his mind off his old job, and Jun. He couldn't help but feel guilty about running away like that, what if Jun got punished for not keeping an eye on him? The boy chewed his lip as he looked for a thrift store. Maybe he should have asked Jun to come with him, but if the other boy had refused then Kiet didn't know what the agency might do to him. No one had ever risked them self to protect Kiet, there was no reason for him to do such a thing for someone he barely knew.

Jun looks around for Kiet and sighs, rubbing the back of his head, ~I wonder if he really is here... It's probably the closest to go away from the agency.~ He perks his head up, seeing a bunch of people eyeing him and looks away, ~great.. not this again. I can see why they removed these painful memories and mention to never go into town,~ he thought with a sigh as he continues walking, noticing footsteps approaching from behind as he clinches his hands and walks past a thrift store, feeling as he was getting followed by the townspeople.

Kiet stepped out of the thrift store with a bag of clothes. He gasped as he noticed Jun in the crowd and took a few steps beck towards the store, ready to make a run for it. He couldn't freak out too much otherwise Jun would be even more lightly to notice him. But his bright white hair did make him easy to spot in a crowd.

Jun puts his hands into a tighter fist and bites his bottom lip as he turns around, "why.. why must you feel need to follow me? Can't you just treat me like a normal person?" One of the townspeople looks at Jun and then at each other, looking back at Jun, "you know its strictly prohibited for psychics to come into town." Jun sighs and scratches his head, "I am.. just looking for someone, give me a few minutes," he looks up at the townspeople, only getting a bunch of glares from the villagers.

[Kotorichan]

Kiet had never heard that it wasn't allowed for psychics to come into town. It made since... Psychics could be dangerous. If he could just tell Jun to give up then no one would be bothered again. But Jun might try to suddenly attack him. Jun knew how dangerous Kiet's powers would be to civilians... right? He bit his lip before approaching Jun. "D-don't try to c-catch me, i-it'll make me p-panic a-and then p-people will get hurt, e-even if you knock me o-out" he stammered, making sure that his voice was loud enough for Jun to hear but not for anyone else.

Jun looks over his shoulder and notices he was slowly getting pushed towards the wall and bites his bottom lip, ~this.. isn't good if I get corner, it might trigger my psychic abilities.~ He perks his head up and notices Kiet, blinking a few times, "what.. are you talking about? I wasn't going to hurt you and what made you think I was going to hurt you..," he sighs and shakes his head, "your acting like you don't trust me," he places his foot on the wall and jets out of his currently location, getting out of the crowd before looking at Kiet and walks out of the town, rubbing his eyes as he walked.

[Kotorichan]

Kiet's legs almost gave out when Jun walked away. He was so relieved, he really didn't want to hurt anyone. He clutched his plastic bag of clothes to his chest before running back to his motel. He collapsed on his bed as soon as he arrived and burst into tears. He wanted to trust Jun, he wanted to be friends, but how could he trust someone who might have been brainwashed into tricking him?

Jun lowers his head as he looks back at the town before walking away completely and slowly lifts up his head with a sigh as he walks back to the psychic agency. He walks back to his bedroom and sits down on his bed, curling up and covers himself completely with the blanket, turning on his side and lowers his head slowly so he was hiding completely under the blanket.

Kiet spent that afternoon curled up in his bed. The next day he went back outside, this time wearing his new clothes. As he walked he heard some people talking about Jun. They were saying that some crazy psychic had come into town and attacked people. Kiet knew it was a lie, he had watched Jun come and leave without doing anything wrong. He clenched his hands into fists, trying to control his anger. He wasn't even that angry at the people talking. It was all his fault, he should have just gone along with whatever they wanted to do. Then no one else would be bothered. He had been selfish... He didn't deserve to be selfish. Kiet got completely lost in his own thoughts and didn't even notice the pain as the tar-like ability began to coat his skin.

Jun was laying on his bed until he heard the door open and looks over his shoulder, seeing Eiji and sighs, lowering his head, "what do you want.. can't I just mope in peace?" Eiji sighs and shakes his head, "no.. so how did it go with Kiet? I can see it didn't go so well since he didn't come home with you." Jun looks up and looks at Eiji, "what's the point.. he doesn't trust me anyway...," he slowly pulls his legs to his chest. Eiji looks at Jun and walks over to Jun, sitting on his bed, "there.. is a possibility he might be in trouble.. I know I rarely do this but he looked like one of those that tend to wander, so I put a tracking device in him just until he got comfortable here. And.. well his powers are starting to happen within town." Jun looks at Eiji and bites his bottom lip, rushing out of his room and goes to the infirmary to get the cream he use on Kiet when he was having a hard time controlling his powers and rushes into town.

[Kotorichan]

Kiet didn't notice anything strange until someone started screaming. It sounded so far away so he didn't realized that it was because of him until the darkness began to creep in the sides of his vision. The next thing he knew he was screaming too, clawing at his face to get it off. In a panic he stumbled forward, not noticing that he brushed up against a woman. The woman's skin immediately began to blister and within seconds the blisters had popped, getting a small amount of the pus on another civilian. After less than a minute 20 people had the blisters covering large patches of bare skin. Kiet had managed to stumble to a dark corner and collapse on the ground, covering his ears and shutting his eyes to block out the light and sound. His distress only made the powers more out of control until there was a perfectly round orb of power around his body. The darkness expanded at a steady rate, pushing the outside world farther and farther away from Kiet until all of his senses were blocked.
