"I'm old enough to be someone's great grandfather, so don't call me a little kid." Hikaru frowned he knew that deep down he was a kid at heart but only because he stopped acting like one so long ago when he lost his only family. He walked into the decent looking hotel and watched Allen glance around he knew what the vampire was doing he was looking for other hunters. Hikaru sighed that was the one thing that vampires did that gave them away for the hunters. The male could sense no other hunter since some gave off the smell of spices from mixing up their own sun bullets something to hurt vampires greatly. Hikaru stopped moving when his shoulder was touched it was an officer and his partner. He groaned on the inside not wanting to deal with annoying cops. They asked Hikaru about the sword and the wolf who looked like a big husky pup, Hikaru had to throw them off somehow.

"Isn't it cool?! Papa gave it to me for my birthday so I could fight off the demons just like my hero in the story books!" Hikaru gave a childlike smile that buttered up the officers making them pat his head and call him a good kid. Hikaru giggled as he blinked and glanced back at Allen.

"Ah! Papa wait for me!! Bye Mr. Officers make sure you watch out for demons!!" Hikaru waved as he rushed off, the officers laughed as they waved to him calling him a cute boy. Hikaru's stomach was doing flip flops when he was near Allen.

"Ugh, I'm was around before those two's parents were even thought of." The disgust was loud and clear in his voice.

[Kotorichan]

Allen rolled his eyes in annoyance at being called 'papa' he forced himself to do a little smile and wave back at the officers so that they wouldn't think about asking any questions. He immediately dropped the act when they turned a corner, his shoulders slumping and his hands slipping into his pockets. "Papa? do I really look that old?" he grumbled, pressing the button for the elevator.

 

"And if you don't want people to stop you then maybe you shouldn't walk around with a giant sword and a wolf..." He stepped into the elevator and leaned against the wall, too tired to bother holding it open for Hikaru. The vampire just wanted to take a shower and go to sleep until nightfall.

"Heh, all what's wrong feeling your age? Also I'd rather not call you my brother it'll make me sick, I could have said you were my lover would that have been better for you?" Hikaru stepped into the elevator petting his sleeping wolf pup as they went up.

"I will never remove my sword it is very special I'd rather it not be in the wrong hands." Hikaru leaned against the other side of the wall he hoped that no one else would get on so that they could go straight to their room. That was when he noticed they only had one key, so Hikaru would have to get his hands on it when the other goes to sleep.

"What floor are we going to?" His fingers hovered over the buttons.

[Kotorichan]

"If you're that desperate to be my lover then I don't care if you pretend" Allen said with a smirk. "Although don't try anything weird, you're not my type" He yawned and pushed his hair back out of his face. "We're on the forth floor, do you need me to press the button for you or can you manage to read?"

 

The vampire was too tired to keep his attitude in check. He was sick of being around Hikaru and even more sick of being awake. The entire night had been full of endless annoyances and he almost wished it was just a dream that he would be able to wake up from. He glanced at the sleeping wolf with a frown, knowing that having it would no doubt cause him even more problems that the boy.

"I'd rather kiss this wolf, and keep me out of your weird fantasies." Hikaru glared at the male as he pushed the button and the elevator finally moved on its own. This felt like endless torture to him being together with this rude vampire for who knows how long to search for his brother. But seeing as it was close to day time this vampire must have been cranky Hikaru rolled his eyes ignoring Allen's rudeness. Once he heard the ding of the elevator the doors opened up and he was quick to get off and walk toward their room.

"Since your so sleepy you can take the bed I'd rather sleep in the tub." Hikaru's body was not going to agree with this he was just as tired as the vampire was right now he was running on fumes even with the vampire blood it could not help him with his drowsiness. Right now Hikaru was having a battle with his eye lids to keep them open, and his wolf pup was starting to get really heavy.

"Hurry up and open the door." Since he wasn't given a key because the hotel people thought he was a kid.

[Kotorichan]

"you were the one who mentioned pretending to be lovers" Allen said with a smirk. He unlocked the door and stepped inside. "There you go, mister impatient child... And you can sleep on the floor with some blankets, it'll be more comfortable than the bathtub..."

 

The vampire left the door open for Hikaru to come in and went straight to the bathroom. "Keep the curtains drawn, you went to all the trouble of finding me, I doubt you want me turned to dust" he called over his shoulder. "And I'm taking a shower, try not to peek" He chuckled and pushed the door closed before stripping out of his clothes. He looked down at his dirty clothes and sighed. It was always annoying that he only had one outfit, anything else would be too much to carry around. He filled up the sink with warm water and some soap and threw his clothes in it to soak.

"Don't take everything I say seriously, also don't flatter yourself, who'd want to see your pale dead ass?" He walked inside and shut the door locking it, he'd rather not sleep on the floor like some pet. He walked around the room and looked at the bed it was a decent size with plenty of room for them and the wolf.

"The sun wouldn't turn him to dust it would just burn his skin like fire." Hikaru mumbled as he walked past a mirror he stopped and the looked at himself he was a mess. Covered in dirt and grim looking like some rat coming out of the sewers with the way his hair was matted down.

"Yeah I need to bathe." Walking over to the side of the bed he took off his hidden pack filled with his ammo, herbs, and varies knives. Placing a pillow over it he sat the wolf pup on top of it, then sat down waiting for the other to be done so he could take his bath next.

Allen took his time in the shower, making sure that he cleaned himself thoroughly. The vampire really hated to be dirty, it made him so uncomfortable...

 

He sighed softly and got out after almost twenty minutes. He took his wet clothes out of the sink and wrung them out before hanging them up on the towel rack. Normally he would have just left his clothes there and gone out completely naked... But he knew that Hikaru would throw a fit if he did. Allen was tempted to do it anyway just to bother the boy, but decided against it.

 

He finally wrapped a towel around his waist and stepped out of the bathroom. For the first time since he had met up with Hikaru his chest was fully exposed, revealing the scars that covered his chest and back, all from the bullet wounds that originally killed him. "alright, go clean yourself up... and try not to clog up the drain with dirt" he muttered.

The vampire was taking forever in the shower, Hikaru was already nodding off on the floor his head heavily hung as he breathed lightly. He shook awoke when the other spoke on normal alert as his heavy eyes opened and he glanced back at the half naked vampire. He spotted the scars, but said nothing as he stood up bee lining for the bathroom letting out grumpy mumble. When was the last time he had a full night's rest in a bed? Hikaru tossed the thought to the side as he stripped down before getting to the bathroom his cloths dropping onto the ground showing flawless skin before he got into the steamy bathroom and closed the door to remove his pants.

The water came on and the hunter was glad that clean freak vampire didn't run out all of the hot water. He let some water hit his wore body his muscles relaxing under the hot water before using the soap the hotel provided to wash himself and his hair. He didn't think there was that much dirt on him, but when he saw the water below suddenly get a little darker Hikaru's eyes widen and he scrubbed himself more.He didn't take as long as Allen to clean himself. Once he was out he grabbed the last towel and ruffled his hair looking at himself in the mirror, his hair had grown a bit long it was at his neck, he would have to get it cut soon.

Allen closed the curtains and crawled into the bed as soon as the boy went into the bathroom. He wrapped the blankets around himself and shut his eyes, trying to relax. He kept seeing the face of the woman he had killed, every time he closed his eyes... Like she was screaming at him, blaming him for her death. The vampire let out a soft, pitiful, whimper an rolled onto his side, pulling a pillow over his head as he did. He never wanted to kill anyone. He just lost control and went to far... And now he'd never be able to take that back.

Hikaru walked out of the bathroom with his towel on his head he looked toward the bed seeing the vampire curled up like a scared child. His eyes tore away from the male as he head over to his bag under his new wolf. Opening his bag he put his scattered clothes inside and took out new ones. Even though he didn't care about how clean or dirty he was he did have a change of clothes. They were the same thing but he felt more comfortable in clothing he can easily fight in. He would wash his dirty clothes later, but at the moment sleep was hitting him hard and after a shower like that it was hard to stay awake any longer. So he got into the bed even without a pillow or blanket it was much warmer than sleeping outside and softer. So once his head hit the bed he fell right to sleep.

Right when Hikaru fell asleep a fuzzy head popped up from then edge of the bed and looked at the sleeping human. Its big paws pulled its fuzzy body onto the bed and walked up to Hikaru's face. It sniffed him before peeking over his body at the heap of blankets, a huff came out of the fuzzy muzzle as the fuzzball hopped over Hikaru and up to the vampire. Growling it grabbed some of the covers in it's mouth and pulled it toward Hikaru pulling it over the hunter. Once the mission was a success the fuzzball jumped off the bed and came back with a pillow pulling it under Hikaru's head. The male mumbled in his sleep and nuzzled the warm fur. Grumbling lightly the wolf wiggled out from under Hikaru's head pulling the pillow under it. Panting lightly it looked at the Hikaru then over to the other body, walking in a circle the pup curled up and slept on the bed. Clearly this pup was smarter than Hikaru thought.

Allen watched the wolf with a blank expression. For some reason he felt a bit jealous of Hikaru, it was clear that the puppy had managed to get extremely connected to him in the short time since they had met. The vampire quickly pushed the thoughts away and rolled over to face away from the human. He curled up into a tight ball and tried to sleep.

 

It took him a couple hours to drift off into a light sleep. Every few minutes he would let out a pained whimper as nightmares once again plagued his rest. He didn't move expect for trembling slightly, another effect of his nightmares.

His mind wandered the realm of sleep as he dreamed of his little brother. Since Hikaru was older he always looked after Rikuru whether it was cleaning a cut or calming him down when he had nightmares he made sure that Rikuru was happy. He loved his brother since Rikuru made sure that it was not only himself that was happy but his big brother too. Hikaru was shaken from his sleep by a slight tremor, his eyes half open he stared into the darkness a faint sound of whimpering mixed in with the busy streets outside the window. He turned his head seeing a body behind himself, trained eyes spotting the shaking body, brotherly instincts kicking in as he scooted over to the body embracing it softly.

"You sneaked into my bed again Rikuru....another nightmare? It's okay.....I'm...right...here." He mumbled in his half awake voice holding the cold body closer to him in an in-tempt to warm it back up. His body relaxed again as he drifted back off to sleep. The wolf pup grunted moving out from between the two and positioning itself near the top of Hikaru's head curling back up on the pillow and going back to sleep.

Allen didn't wake up when Hikaru moved closer. The vampire just snuggled up against the boy's warmth in his sleep, the comfort of another's presence making his whimpers quiet and his trembling stop. He slept through the rest of the night, his dreams still disturbing but better now that he didn't feel so alone.

He didn't even stir until around 10pm and even then he didn't want to get out of the warm bed. It was too comfortable and safe feeling that he didn't even realize how close he was to the human boy.

It was so warm, so unbearably warm not only that there was a light knocking that woke the male up from his comfortable slumber. How long has it been since he had such a good nights sleep like this, although what he saw when he opened his sleepy eyes was a form holding him close while they slept. That was what woke him up a little bit as he slowly sat up and looked at the door hearing another knock on it. Stretching his body he got out the bed and moved toward the door looking through the peep hole to see the clerk that gave them their key. Opening the door Hikaru peeked out, and the attendant wanted to know if they were staying another night.

"Oh no papa and I were just packing up we'll be gone soon." Hikaru smiled insuring the lady she nodded and walked off closing the door Hikaru rolled his eyes before he turned back to the room and sighed he was almost tempted to go back to sleep, but they had to leave, he looked at the clock and saw it was already late at night. He yawned as he thought about it maybe it was best to get a fresh start the next night, but then that would give more time for that snitch to get further away.

"Hm I could always see if the tracker I put on him still works." Rubbing the rest of the sleep from his eyes Hikaru took out his cell phone from his bag, and turned it on. The tracker was still active, but it seemed that the male had gone to another city, Hikaru sighed shaking his head this man just didn't learn. Looking up Hikaru noticed a pair of eyes on him looking up he saw the wolf pup looking at him. He whimpered, Hikaru already knew that he was hungry, walking over to the phone he called the clerk telling her that on second thought they would stay another night. The white wolf nudged Hikaru's side when he hung up the phone.

"No worries....hm....Shiro, I'll order us a pizza for dinner." He sat on the bed and pat Shiro on the head.

Allen groaned and woke up at the sound of Hikaru's voice. He slowly sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes, the blanket slipping down until it almost fully exposed his still nude body. "Mm... is it morning already? it feels like I just barely fell asleep..." He sighed and looked over at the boy and the wolf. "Are you going to bring food in here or should we go out to eat?" He grabbed his towel from where it had fallen on the floor and wrapped it around his waist as he climbed out of bed. "Either way I should get dressed... You probably don't like having the guy you hate walking around naked" he chuckled and walked to the bathroom to get his clothes.

His ears perked up when he heard noises behind himself, glancing back he could feel the blood leaving his face when he saw that the other had no clothes on what so ever. What the hell was wrong with this guy it's like he didn't care that his enemy was in the saw room with him let alone the same bed. Did he always go to sleep with no clothing on?

"Its the next night leaving now when it is this late would be annoying, if we just have to go straight to another hotel in a few hours." He tried not to look at the other as he got up and instead opened his phone and looked up where that snitch was, it looked as if he fled to a different state, Hikaru sighed as he looked up a plane flight for two, but then he stopped he had forgotten about his new wolf pup. He wondered if they would let the pup stay with him on the flight if he paid first class.

"Anyway I'm ordering food and buying us plane tickets for tomorrow night, looks as if we are going to New York." His fingers glided over the buttons of his phone before he was on the phone ordering a pizza for Shiro, meat lovers specialty. Shiro placed his paws on Hikaru's chest licking his face.

[Kotorichan]

"New York?" Allen didn't close the door all the way as he stepped into the bathroom to get dressed. "Why are we going there? I thought we were looking for your brother, not sightseeing" He dressed himself in his clothes which were starting to look like they would start to fall apart soon. "Or do you have a girl living there that you need to go visit?" He chuckled at the idea, knowing that it was ridiculous. Hikaru didn't seem like the type who would have any kind of relationship, especially when his beloved brother was missing. The vampire smoothed his hair back and walked back out of the bedroom. "Well... If our flight is tomorrow night then what do you plan to do tonight?"

Once he was off the phone he rolled his eyes and flopped back on the bed Shiro snuggling up next to him.

"We are going to look for my brother, we just have to find the one who pointed me in the direction to finding you, we don't get along very well." Looking at his phone again he saw that his target had planted itself in New York, but before he could do anything else Hikaru glanced up toward the other, what in the hell was this guy wearing? It looked more of rags than clothing, not that he cared what his enemy wore, but if he was going to be seen with him then he at least had to look intimidating. Not wanting to fuss over it Hikaru stood up and walked over toward the other and looked at his height. He was taller than him so maybe about 5'8 the male walked around the other moving some of the rags from his sight to see his waist and chest size. He did have a glance at the male's naked body and for some reason he felt as if he already knew his waist's size around. It was small enough for his arms to wrap around, his hands lifted up and touched his board chest before quickly moving around to his back. His small warm hands glided down the back over the small butt, then around again to go down the long legs to his ankle. After Hikaru was done felling the other up with the last thing of lifting his arm and measuring how long it was he calculated in his mind turning away to grab his bag and pulled out a pencil and a small notebook writing down the vampires measurements, height and width. He didn't explain himself what so ever as he stared at the page while doing math in his head, when he finished he put the notebook in his pocket and sat down to wait for the pizza. He would have to go shopping later not only for clothing, but supplies as well.

[Kotorichan]

"Why the hell do you need my help then?" Allen snapped when he heard why they were going to New York. He glared at the boy with confusion as Hikaru felt his chest and arms. "what do you think you're doing?" He grumbled, plopping down on the bed as soon as the boy pulled away. "You seriously just can't keep your hands off me can you?" He chuckled and shook his head. "I was laying in bed with you, naked, wouldn't that have been a good time to feel me up?" he leaned back against the pillows and yawned, still drowsy.

"Because he only hears rumors and he may not know anything at all, also don't flatter yourself I have my reasons for everything I do." Hikaru glanced at the other then back to Shiro who moved off his chest to sniff at Allen, he growled and nudged the bigger male with his head as if trying to push him off the bed. Hikaru couldn't hold back a small smile as he picked the little pup up and ruffled the soft fur.

"You trying to play with the foolish vampire Shiro?" The pup wagged his tail before it's head glanced over at the door when there was a knock. Placing the pup down Hikaru jumped up from the bed and walked over to the door with his bag, his keen nose wiggled as he drew closer to the door smelling the freshly baked pizza. Opening the door the pizza man looked down at Hikaru, then back at the door to make sure he was at the right spot, his answer was given to him in the form of money being lifted up to him. The man smiled as he gave Hikaru the pizza and patted him on the head before taking the money, waving goodbye and walking away, grumbling as he pushed the door shut with his foot he walked over to the table in their room and set the box down. Shiro barked as he hopped from the bed and ran over to the smell of food. There were paper plates on the table as one hot slice was set on it set off to the side. Shiro's mouth watered as he hopped up into a nearby chair and onto the table. Not stopping as he bit into the hot slice and yelped jumping backwards.

"Shiro!" Hikaru pick up the whining pup and walked it over to the sink turning the water on for it to lap up.

"Silly pup you have to let it cool a bit." Shiro growled once he was done and was placed on the ground.

"Hey you do you want any? Can't have you eating people while I'm around."

[Kotorichan]

"I can't eat human food" Allen sighed. "Well, I can but it doesn't do anything to fill my stomach" He sat down at the table and stared at the food with a frown. "I'm not going to kill anyone, I never want to kill anyone... I just fuck up if I go too long without eating" He shrugged and leaned back in his seat. "So don't worry about me, I'll feed myself. Although I doubt you'd ever have any concern about my well being" He let out a cold laugh. It was hard not to feel bitter towards the human for seeming to hate him no matter what he said or did.

He stared at the male seeing how much he was suffering to hold back what he had become, not once had Hikaru asked or even thought that what Allen was, was by choice. A spark went off into his mind as if reminding him of what he had right now, since he knew what his brother had been turned into he created various things for Rikuru, but he never got to test his produces on a real vampire. He had gotten these ideas from ancient books he found in Japan while under the roof of his Samurai teacher.

"It might work...yeah I'll try it." He opened his bag and starting picking up bottles looking at a couple then putting them back, and looking at other ones before he found the right vile. It was filled with a dark reddish-brown glitter looking substance. Hikaru pulled out the cork and took a small pinch out of it and sprinkled it over a slice of pizza. Then he set it in front of the vampire and put the bottle away.

"What I just put on the pizza will make it so that a vampire can eat human food, it won't be as satisfying as drinking warm blood but it will keep you full and calm your carvings if you eat enough food that is. I made it for my brother...I know what he has become, but he is still my little brother I want to give him this much of his humanity back." Hikaru sat on the table since he was small enough to and pulled his legs into his chest holding them softly as he stared down at Allen.

"Oh and don't worry about the crystals effecting the taste it'll still taste like pizza." It had taken Hikaru years to find the ingredients for these crystals and many other concoctions he had, but it was all worth it for Rikuru.

Allen stared down at the slice of pizza as Hikaru spoke. He had his doubts about the food, especially since someone who hated him so much had made it. He looked up at Hikaru for a moment before pushing the plate away. "No thanks, if I've learned anything about you it's that you absolutely despise me. But I didn't expect you to outright poison me" he let out a dry laugh and stood up. "I'm going out, don't worry though. I'll be back before morning so you don't have to worry about finding me" He headed straight to the window and opened it to jump out.

Hikaru watched the other head for the window, he didn't even attempt to try the pizza before assuming that the crystals were poison. Hikaru expected the other to not trust his words. But this vampire wasn't very bright or he could have been faking it, ether way why would Hikaru want to poison the male when he knew that he needed him alive to help him find his brother. Plus he was a vampire could poisons work on them even though they were already dead? He said nothing as the other got up and left out of the room, Hikaru wasn't worried about the other running away since he would be able to find him now. Sighing he closed his eyes in the dim lighted hotel room before looking down at Shiro as he ate his pizza and was already jumping into Allen's seat and then onto the table to eat his untouched pizza slice.

"You are right, I do still hate you, but poisoning someone no matter who it is, is a cowards way of doing things." Hikaru looked at the open window then he thought what someone would think seeing Allen jumping out of the window like that.

Shrugging off the thought Hikaru got up and strapped on his bag.

"Come on Shiro want to go shopping with me?" The young hunter was tying on his katana while looking back at his wolf pup, it had laid on its side letting out a burp before falling asleep on the table, the male shook his head as he picked up the key to the room and left out of there, to get some supply and new clothing.
