Kotorichan Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Allen jumped out the window, landing on a rooftop just below. He pushed his hand into his coat pockets and began to walk. He wasn't sure if Hikaru would actually poison him, the boy certainly did seem to hate him enough to do such a thing but Allen didn't even know if it was possible. He jumped down to an empty alleyway and headed towards a busy street, trying to distract himself from his own thoughts. Why would the boy so anything nice for him? It just didn't make sense, he was probably planning to kill the vampire as soon as he got what he wanted so why butter him up? He stopped to sit on a bench, leaning back to watch the late night bustle. He probably could run right now, try to get away from Hikaru. But what was the point? Danni_25 Posted January 22, 2015 Author Share Posted January 22, 2015 It wasn't hard to find some clothing shops that were open this late at night, the trouble was finding the right style for that vampire and himself. He never knew shopping for something to wear was so annoying, so instead he went to get his supply first. But once he was finished with getting what he needed he was back at square one with clothing. He walked down the insanely bright streets looking into the windows of shops till something caught his eye. There was a pathway leading down a small alleyway. Curious the young hunter walked down the dimly lite path till it let out into an old looking Asian themed store. His interest was perked as he walk up to the small shop and walked inside. The first one to greet him was an old man sitting behind the counter. "Watashi no mise e yōkoso." (Welcome to my shop.) Hikaru's eyes widened hearing the soft voice speak in a language he knew very well. "Watashi ga koko ni iru koto o kōei ni omoimasu." (I am honored to be here.) Hikaru bowed to the old man who gave a gentle laugh, somehow this place felt comfortable to him as he walked around looking at the merchandise. He stumbled upon clothing that fit his ninja style of dark leather and skin tight. But what really caught his attention was a modern day kimono, the color reminded Hikaru of Allen's eyes. He pictured the vampire in the clothes and it seemed to match the gloomy vampire's style. He didn't even look at the price as he took the whole outfit off the manikin was the same size as Allen since Hikaru knew the male's measurements. Heading over to the old man he purchased his items said his goodbyes and walked out of the store, but before the door closed he heard the old man mumble. "Anata ga sagashite iru koto wa, anata ga omou yori mo chikaidesu." (What you are looking for is closer than you think.) Whether or not he went back to the hotel he would still get bothered by Hikaru for one reason or another, it was starting to feel promising to just sit outside all day and let himself turn to dust. He laughed softly at how ridiculous the idea seemed, he just felt so tired of having no reason to his existence. The vampire noticed a small orange cat sitting under the bench, he immediately thought of the boy and wondered if he liked cats as much as wolves. He carefully reached out to touch the small animal, briefly considering bringing it back to the hotel. The cat leapt to it's feet and hissed at him before bolting into an alley. Danni_25 Posted January 22, 2015 Author Share Posted January 22, 2015 It was close to being one in the morning as Hikaru was heading back to the hotel to drop off his bags he ignored the people around him since all they saw was a kid. When he was inside the hotel he noticed that Allen wasn't back yet, but Shiro was awake. The white pup ran up to Hikaru as he set the bags down and sighed he would have to look for the male. What was going on here it hadn't been one day and already he's looking after this male was he always like this. And if so how in the world did he live this long? "Come on Shiro let's go find that man." Picking up the pup Hikaru closed the door, but since he didn't want to deal with the people downstairs wondering where he would be going so late at night he went out the same way Allen did and followed the man's scent. It seemed more powerful than before it might have been because he had been around the other for a long period of time. It only took him about ten minutes max to track the male down sitting alone on a bench looking like a homeless man with nothing to live for. Hikaru stared for a minute watching him watching others, before he appeared next to the man. "Allen...It's getting late, we need to head back." "of course you'd come... you can't have me getting killed before you find your little brother can you?" he stared up at the sky with an empty expression. "I'll head back before dawn... Don't worry, I can't die until I help you fix the shit I caused..." he rose to his feet and pulled his clothes a little tighter around himself. "I somehow thought that since you two looked like brothers you'd be happy together... how stupid..." he let his hair fall in front of his face to hide his expression. Where is all this depression coming from, what happened to that annoying smugness you showed me before?" Hikaru was really starting to get fed up with this guy putting on this 'no one understands me' shit. "Is being around me the reason for this?....Okay look all I want is for you to help me find my brother and apologize to him for leaving me behind. I can't undo what you did to him and I can live with that, but to need to man up." Hikaru folded his arms, in his mind the man that almost killed him was a terrifying beast, but from what he was seeing right now this guy is not that man at all. Hikaru walked after the other and stood in front of him with a stern look. "You're a vampire one of the many powerful creatures in this world so start acting like one till the end." "You really think I'd go showing any weakness to you? you appeared out of nowhere and threw a fit about how I should know where your brother is, all I know is that we were in England four years ago and he disappeared while I was sleeping. That's it! I can't help you with him! Just leave me alone because all you do is make me feel even more miserable" he turned away again and stomped away, just wanting to be left alone already. Hikaru shouted back this man had some nerve to try and make things seem like it was his fault for looking for him and that his brother being lost wasn't his problem. "You took away my only family, of course I would track your sorry ass down to find him!! You think I give a damn how you feel also when didn't you tell me where you saw him last?! It would have narrowed things down a whole lot better, if you feel so horrible about your life then do something about it!!" Hikaru shouted loud enough that people start to notice them and looked toward the both of them. "My brother is out there alone because of you, and weather you like it or not it your going to help me so DON'T YOU DARE WALK AWAY FROM ME!!!" Hikaru was trembling he was so close to cutting this man down and going off on his own. Shiro watched the two seeing how upset Hikaru was and how annoyed, but depressed Allen was the small wolf ran up to Allen and bit down on his pants leg pulling on him to stop. I'll help you find him, not as if it's gonna make any difference..." he looked at Hikaru, his eyes narrowed in a glare. "as long as you agree to kill me once you're done. At this very moment his focus was on the vampire before him. The depressing man who stood before him was a very sorry excuse, but the hunter would not bestow pity on him for this man didn't need it. "No." The words escaped his lips before his brain could process it, he blinked almost surprised by his own answer just yesterday he wanted this man dead. Where did his drive go what was he thinking right now his eyes drifted down toward Shiro who was now sitting down in front of Allen his pants still in his muzzle as he looked up at the vampire. "Your life is not mine, and I kill no one out of pity you will live and face yourself and I will make sure of that. Do not think of this as mercy one day your time will come but not by my hands." Women that were watching blushed as Hikaru walked up toward the other having calmed down. "If you won't kill me after we find him then I'll just kill myself before we do... I'm already a monster, helping you isn't going to redeem me in any way..." He tried to step back to pull his pant leg away from the dog without hurting him. "Let go Shiro, even if you stop me tonight I'll just try again tomorrow...." he lightly tried to pull away again, still careful that he wouldn't hurt the animal. Hikaru found himself walking forward along with his pup to keep the distance between him and the vampire short. "If you wanted to die so badly you would have done so long ago, why do you want to die so badly right now?" Hi head tilted so that he could see the others eyes for some reason Hikaru was getting the feeling that Allen was trying to avoid him. He knew that the two of them weren't friends, they didn't even like one another, but Hikaru just couldn't leave the other be there was a voice in the back of his head nagging him not to do so. "I was looking for some purpose for my life, some reason for my existence... But thanks to you I've figured out that there's nothing I can do in this world except make people more miserable, the longer I'm alive the more damage I do" he laughed dryly. Besides I haven't thought that far into the future why should you? Also my sensai once told me that if you have patience you will find what you are truly looking for." Hikaru kept moving forward he knew that Allen wouldn't get to far away with that wall getting closer to him. Shiro wagged his tail as he got up and walked with Allen thinking they were playing a game now. "But anyway it's getting late we should head back." Out of habit of doing this with Rikuru Hikari reached out and took Allen's cold hand into his warm one. But when he heard the girls reacting he immediately jerked away and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Let's just go... I'm sick of fighting with you." He glared at the ground, still not wanting to look at Hikaru. "This definitely doesn't mean that you've convinced me of anything" he snapped before starting to walk back towards the hotel, once again covering his sadness with anger. Danni_25 Posted February 3, 2015 Author Share Posted February 3, 2015 He smirked as if he had won some small battle with the vampire, it was easy to tell that the other was a little embarrassed and something else was hiding under his anger. His eyes went down to his hand wondering why he reached out toward the other, they weren't friends, heck they weren't even close, so why was he soothing the other and reaching out to him like some lost child? Sighing Hikaru let the other walk pass him and followed suit, it was getting later. Glancing down at Shiro he watched the little pup look back at him as if telling him to pick up the pace as he followed after Allen. As they walked in silence there was a faint sound of groans coming from the women that were watching the two, but that wasn't important. Letting out a soft sigh Hikaru walked a little faster they weren't far from the hotel. Taking out his cell phone he looked at the tracker wondering if he should cancel that try to New York and head to England instead maybe Rikuru was still there. For a moment his gaze lifted up and stared at the tall male before him, instead of strong leveled shoulders, they were slouched and fragile, what in the world happened to this guy? He honestly didn't dislike Hikaru, he just hated the way the human treated him. It reminded him of what a monster he really was, and how he would never have any kind of purpose or companion in his life. He immediately went to the bathroom to shower, striping off his clothes and dropping it all on the ground. The vampire didn't bother locking the door, if Hikaru wanted to peek on him then it wouldn't matter. Nothing really matter to him, he felt completely alone. Danni_25 Posted February 6, 2015 Author Share Posted February 6, 2015 Since it was easier to go back into the hotel window that is just what they did, Hikaru made sure to close the blinds and shades so that no source of sunlight would come inside the room. He turned around to see that the other was already in the bathroom taking another bath, and that was when it hit him. He glanced over toward his bags he had gotten from that shop he found. He walked over to the bags and looked inside a couple before he found the clothing he was looking for. Without a second thought he walked up to the door and knocked on it first. "Hey I'm coming inside." He gave out a warning first before opening the unlocked door and walking inside the steamy room, Shiro decided to come inside as well. "I found you some new clothing what you have now is going to be thrown away." Hikaru didn't even look at the other as he hung the new bag of clothing on a hook and picked up the rags that was discarded on the ground. Shiro was curious what Allen was doing in the big whit bowl so he jumped up to see, but slipped back down to the ground since the big bowl was slippery. He tried again in a different spot but the results were the same, so this time he tried the middle and was able to latch on panting and wagging his tail he spotted the male in the milky water. He was naked, so he must have been grooming himself. "Shiro down!" Hikaru was about to leave when he heard the puppy, he turned back to the white fluff as the pup looked back at the other and obeyed letting go of the edge of the tub and running out of the hot room. Hikari took a quick glance at the quiet male seeing the loneliness seeping out of him, sighing softly he closed the door to give the other his privacy. The vampire sighed and sunk deeper in the water, closing his eyes and trying to relax. He stayed in the tub until the water went cold before finally getting out. He dried himself off and opened the bag to look at the clothing Hikaru had bought. He put it on without any complaint, it felt strange to wear something different after so many years. He didn't bother straightening up his appearance and just went out to the room with his clothes wrinkled and slightly damp from his wet hair. Danni_25 Posted February 6, 2015 Author Share Posted February 6, 2015 Shiro ran up toward the other when he came out of the bathroom running in a circle until Hikaru looked up at the other from a book. He did a double take at how sloppy the other looked even with the new clothing, it looked good on the other, but his damp hair and wrinkling clothes took away the appeal. His finger twitch as he went into instead brother mood. He placed the book down and got up walking into the bathroom and coming out with a dry towel tossing it on top of the vampires head and pulling on it to bring him down a bit so he could dry the rest of his hair. "What the heck are you doing? Do you not care about how well your clothes fit you, also dry your hair all the way." He rubbed the others head till he till he thought the hair was dry. Hikaru may have not cared if he was clean or not but he did like how his clothes fit him which was why he had five pairs of the same clothing with him because he felt comfortable in nothing else. Then he thought about it, this was a modern day kimono what if this guy didn't know how to wear it properly? With that in mind Hikaru straightened and adjusted the kimono so it fitted better and just as he thought his measurements were correct the clothes fit well and was long enough. Plus it added some mystery to the other.....not that he cared! Hikaru caught himself pulling back once he was finished and turned away, what in the hell was he just doing? Maybe he was cooped up in this place too long they really had to leave the next night. Well it had been a while but the male wasn't that crazy to shack up with a vampire much less another guy who turned his brother into a vampire and made Hikaru what he was. He had to get his mind straight, but he could see that he was slowly going back to his old brotherly ways whenever he saw the vampire in a sorry state, he needed to get that in check. He stared down at his now fixed clothes, surprised at how well it fit. He stayed silent for a moment, trying to push his feelings down like he usually did. "Thank you..." He murmured softly. "Sorry about today... I'll be back to normal by tomorrow night..." The vampire lightly rubbed his temples. He was starting to feel a little sad that Hikaru was going to leave him as soon as they found the boy's brother. There were times when he had break downs himself for multiple reasons. Being stuck in this young looking form, having to drink vampire blood, worrying about his brother, being alone, not being able to have or start a family. So in some small way Hikaru could relate to the other. "Don't worry about it, anyway you sure you don't want to eat? And I promise it isn't poison, I'll take a bite if you don't believe me." He didn't want the man to be weak from lack of nutrition and pass out, humans go nuts when someone faints. And when medics show up it will get ugly fast. "I'll eat if it really means that much to you..." He glanced down at Shiro with a longing expression. "Will he get mad if I try to pet him?" He asked quietly. It would mean so much to his brother to not crave blood and kill people. He made sure not to show how he was feeling on the outside or he would truly look like some find. But then that question was thrown in the air and Hikaru blinked why would he think that Shiro was afraid of him? In fact Shiro was just fine being around the two he was a smart pup too, which is why Hikaru wondered why he was in that cage in the first place. Hikaru stared at Shiro as the pup sat there staring at the vampire and the pizza that was set in front of him wagging his tail. "Well he did try to join you in the tub, and he was running around you when you came out, not to mention he stopped you from trying to leave, I think he wouldn't mind getting his head rubbed from you." Hikaru crossed his arms the gears in his head were turning wolves were usually in packs and they would always look after their pups and help them out, so why was Shiro left behind? He very gently pet the dog's head, he loved the feeling of the soft fur. It had been years since the vampire had found an animal that wasn't scared of by his ice cold hands and the smell of death that always faintly surrounded him. "He... He's so soft..." He murmured. The vampire felt like he was about to cry from pure happiness. He very lightly nuzzled his nose into the dog's fur and closed his eyes. "you're so soft..."
